Well, my cat's kittens are almost all adopted. My neighbor took them up to her store (Petco) and all but one were adopted as of 5:40 p.m. yesterday. I'm hoping the last one will be gone soon if he hasn't been adopted already.
We're keeping Dixie cooped up in the shed still as she is getting fixed tomorrow. She isn't very happy about, but I bought her some toys. The balls she doesn't seem to be interested in, but I got one of those long dangling toys that has feathers at the end. She attacks that quite happily when I dangle it over her. I figured she might not play with a regular toy right off being an outside cat, so I got something with feathers to attract her. She seems to have adapted quite well.
My dog that I still own was super mad when he had to be fixed. On the way back to the house from picking him up he would stare at me with a lazy eye and every time I'd try to pet him he would toss his head away and groan. He would groan all the time too without interaction from me. Later that day he got over it when I took him to Petsmart.

My dogs are so funny. I give them rawhide bones; a small one for Teyla ('cause she's small) and a big one for Vala ('cause she's big), but they fight over them. And I swear they go out in the back yard and argue about the bones, because they will bark at each other with the bones in front of them. And their barks are different sounding than their 'normal' barks. It is so funny!!! I think the argument is because the little dog wants the big bone and the big dog wants them both!

Ahaha, ramagut, that's so amusing!
Would anyone know an accurate list of cat-friendly plants? Lilies, Tulips, and Poinsettas are crossed off the list, much to my grief...so it'd be so helpful to know other plants that are safe for cats.

You can visit the Cat Fanciers' Association website (cfa.org) to find a list of plants that are poisonous to cats. The list is pretty long. But I don't know how much of these plants an animal would have to actually ingest to be dangerous.
My biggest problem is that the cats dig in the dirt of houseplants. Although they did chew on the ones with the long, thin leaves. I wish I knew the name of it because it never hurt them; just the plant.

Here's the link to a page that has non toxic planets for plants.
http://www.cfa.org/articles/plants-non-toxic.html
We keep most of our planets up high so the cats can't get at them. Of course, we aren't always successful. Mystery likes to eat Baby's Breath which I just found out is poisonous. She usually eats dried Baby's Breath out of dried flower arrangements and then throws them back up.
We even have to keep artificial plants out of reach because Blitzen eats them. They come back up too.

Thanks plenty, ramagut and Patterwig's Pal! *favourites site* That's sooo helpful!!
The risk with keeping plants places is that our cats knock over the flower pots and, consequently, they break and the plant dies. But keeping the plants in a high places is a nicer idea.
Well, today, Cinnamon and Sugar officially turn 3. I remember when they were only three days old! *sniffs* (But, I love them now more than I did then; they're so much more affectionate and closer to us. <3)
We got them presents and worked for an extra day off school. Yeah, we celebrate their birthday big.

Happy Birthday to Cinnamon and Sugar! (They should have been Beans and Rice--since this is Cinco de Mayo! )

We got rid of three of my kittens today. We kept one boy named Luke. We also got rid of the mother cat. She was to much of a pest. So, now the grand total of pets I own is 2 cats and one kitten.

to you kittengirl.
Since we are looking into moving a smaller house and a rental, we are decreasing the size of my "zoo." Already got rid of 2 birds, my other 2 will go in a couple of weeks. (We got rid of my fishtank a couple of months ago). We may look for a home for one of my cats, but I refuse to go any farther than that. That will leave me with 2 dogs and 2 (or 3) cats. I even miss my fish; not to mention my birds. My dogs are my 'kids' and my companions. They aren't going anywhere unless I go too.
So, I feel your pain!

Our poor Robby had really been practicing giving a soft answer to turn away wrath. For the past two weeks Sophie has been creating huge scandals, though I am not to sure over what but I think it has something to do with the mirror. She squawks terrible loud and makes a lot of noise. Robby just sits for a while then begins to softly chirp to her and after a while she'll calm down. He's only lost his temper with her two or three times and you have to give him credit considering her sort of spoiled behavior, I've lost my temper with her quite often (Oh well I'm only human) cause she can be soooo loud it hurts my ears, and makes it difficult to concentrate on my school (Mornings seem to be her 'scandal time' she usually calms down in the afternoon and evening.
always be humble and kind
For some strange reason my dog will not go outside today. Yesterday was steamy hot and today it's a bit cooler. While I was away at college my mom was at home and had Caspian out for about three hours and had forgotten to get him back in since it was hot. So I guess today he doesn't want to stand the heat even though it is cooler. He likes to chase off squirrels and my next door neighbors cats that crosses in the backyard. He'll watch them at the glass door and every time I open it, he'll just stay put. My poor baby.

My kitten Luke has been running around the house today with a baby blue collor on that has a bell. Every time he moves it rings. It's soo cute! What would we do without kittens?

Kittens in general are most adorable creatures ever kittengirl
I wish animals can stay small. That's pretty much why I prefer small dogs. One of my friends has a Japanese cat that stays small as if it were a kitten. it's a big fluff ball but so cute.

Damsel, I've seen those cats on TV. They are like a miniature or tea cup dog. They are so cute!
I've always said that God made baby animals (and humans for that matter) so cute that we would just love them and take care of them and then be too attached to them when they get older and bigger to get rid of them.
