Does anyone know the Phoenix song 1901?

Well anyways ever since I heard the song I've been singing the chorus "falling falling falling" and my friend told me the lyrics was "fold it" and I thought that didn't make any sense. Well anyways I was singing it randomly a few days ago in my acting class while I was warming up and two people told me the lyrics was "falling"

I was just looking at the lyrics for the 80's song "99 Luftballoons" and realized that I misheard some of the lyrics (for the last 25 years!):

Real lyrics: "99 Decision Street. 99 ministers meet."
I heard: "99 Decision Trees. 99 main misters meet."

Yesterday I finally realised I'd been making up a word in my head when listening to "Colors" by The Rocket Summer:

Real lyrics: An overflowing heart, an empty wallet scene.
My head :An overflowing heart, and "emptuwalities"

Or something like that..

He actually sings, "I'll leave a light on for you my lord"

And I heard for the longest time, "I Lee-la-la-la! For you my lord."

I wondered if lee-la-la-la-ing was singing or something.

I recently got a lyric wrong in that new song 'All the right moves" by One Republic.

Real lyric: "All the right friends, in all the right places.
What I thought: "All the right friends, and all the rough faces"

I like this song it's 10 times better then apologize I think.

Okay so at church I wasn't really paying attention during worship and the guy who leads it said, "I'm going to teach you a new song and it's called 'Oh Happy Day'".

He proceeds to sing it and when he got to the line 'The empty cross, The empty grave/Life eternal You have won the day', I looked up really fast.

I thought he had said 'Like a turtle You have won the day'

I couldn't keep a straight face for the rest of the song!

I was a bit confused 'be what?' sounded like a very unfinished line. Later I listened more closely and understood
