Unfortunately, you had already screamed loudly at the sight of the spider, so now the pirates know where to find you.

Fortunately, you jump on the friendly spider's back and the spider climbs up a tree, out of reach of the pirates.
Unfortunately, the pirates brought torches, and they light the tree on fire.

Fortunately, the friendly spider and his mad web-slinging skills allow you to swing away to another tree!
Unfortunately, during one of these swings, you lose your grip and fall off the spider's back.

Fortunately, the spider drops a line and catches you (maybe he saw a Spiderman movie once).

Fortunately, just then, more friendly spiders start to appear, and the pirates are so terrified that they run away, deciding that you're no longer worth it.

Unfortunately, the friendly spiders are a little too friendly and decide to kidnap you so you will be their storyteller.
Fortunately, your adventures alone give you enough material to keep them entertained, until they all get tired and start drifting off to sleep.

Unfortunately, spiders snore.

Fortunately, because the spiders are asleep you can move on to greener pastures.
Unfortunately, greener pastures mean they are already occupied and the sheep are not happy to see you come tramping through their meadow.

Fortunately the sheepdogs aren't around to chase you off, so you move to where there are some shady trees, keeping the pastures green and flourishing from the other side of the fence.
Unfortunately, the shady trees are infested with a particularly nasty form of caterpillars.
