Hastings, (a town in southern England famous for its fishing industry, its smuggling history, and a famous battle fought nearby in 1066).
There's also a Hastings in New Zealand, named after this one.

There's also a Hastings in New Zealand, named after this one.
And one in Australia! 
Edenbridge, a town in Kent, England (which does not, to my knowledge, actually contain a bridge to paradise and should possibly be done for false advertising )

Dunedin, a city in New Zealand settled by the Scottish.
Yes, I know. My great grandfather, who died in 1923, was the son of such a Scottish family who settled there. But he married my Tasmanian great grandmother, which might have put their noses out of joint, somewhat. They married on Federation Day (1st January, 1901), in Melbourne, one couple among others, I suspect. But New Zealand, itself, declined Australia's invitation to the weddings.
