New Jersey, a state across the river from New York (who's seen the huge clockface in Newark that shows NYC people the time? Is it still there? )

Nonetheless, Epping, a Sydney Suburb, is likely named for Epping Forest.

Nonetheless, Epping, a Sydney Suburb, is likely named for Epping Forest.
There's a suburb of Melbourne called Epping too!

Yes, and there is another Liverpool 17 miles from Sydney, one of the oldest settlements in New South Wales, & founded in 1810 as an agricultural centre by Governor Lachlan Macquarie. Even the TAFE college there, which I have visited often, has a sort of convict-built & almost military feel to it, with very thick walls & heavy wooden doors.
