Derbyshire (a beautiful county of England).

There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."

Some days you battle yourself and other monsters. Some days you just make soup.

Australia. Either an unusually small continent or an unusually large island, whichever way you look at it. Grin

"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."

Aegean,  the sea between Greece and Turkey.

Uluru, a large heart-shaped monolith in the very centre of a very large island called Australia, & revered by the indigenous Pitjantjatjara people of Central Australia. Giggle

@ Courtenay: The Continent of Australia includes not only Australia, itself, but also the surrounding islands, including the State of Tasmania, & its own outlying islands, the Bass Strait islands, Kangaroo Island, Rottnest Island etc, (for starters). It is the only Continent in the world governed by a single political state. Smug

However by some definitions as a continent, Australia also includes the island of New Guinea, which sits on the same continental shelf as not only Australia but also the Torres Strait Islands. Thus Australia includes not only all the islands of Australia, itself, but also the independent nation of Papua Niugini plus Irian Jaya, a province of present day Indonesia. Grin

Urmston (an area of Greater Manchester) [known to me because my family is from Manchester, and also because a rather odd character in a popular UK comedy series of the 90s was from there and referred to it often]

There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
