Swansea, Wales, UK. Its Welsh name is Abertawe (mouth of the river Tawe).
One of its claims to fame is being the birthplace of poet Dylan Thomas.
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.

"Aber" is a river mouth in Welsh (and Cornish) — not sure about the "main" part, as Wikipedia doesn't tell us where the name comes from and it doesn't seem to be named after anywhere in Wales! Usually "Aber" in a place name is followed by the name of the river (e.g. Aberystwyth = mouth of the River Ystwyth).
Nether Wallop, Wiltshire, England
(I know I've used that before, but it's got to be one of the best place names in the UK. 
It is in fact the lowest-situated of three adjoining villages, after Over Wallop and Middle Wallop.)
