Avondale, a suburb in both Auckland and Christchurch, NZ. (Pronounced differently, Auck says short A, as in Avonlea, and Chch a long A as in Asia).

Ketchum (Idaho, USA). I believe it's famous for its skiing. Although I lived about 2-3 hours away from there for a short time, I didn't go skiing for the first time until I moved to the South!
