Greymouth, a town in New Zealand

There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."

Young Nick's Head, a point at the north end of New Zealand, named by Captain James Cook in 1769, after Nicholas Young, the 12-year-old who spotted land after a long journey. (Probably a servant to one of the officers)

There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.

Nieuw-Holland. The historic European name for Mainland Australia, given in 1644 by the Dutch seafarer, Abel Tasman, for the area known as Terra Australis even after its coastline was extensively explored, when Captain Arthur Phillip claimed Captain Cook's findings on the east coast as New South Wales for Great Britain, on 7th February 1788.

"I am,” said Aslan. "But there I have another name. You must learn to know me by that name. This was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia, that by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there.”
