Narni, an ancient town in Umbria, central Italy. In former times its name was Narnia, and in the 1910s, a certain young scholar called C.S. Lewis came across it in an atlas of Roman-era Europe and underlined that name, just because he liked the sound of it...

Doo Town, Tasmania, where a tourist visiting this Australian holiday town, established in the 1830's, would find all but one of the shacks have names like Yabba Dabba Doo, Didgeri-Doo or Rum Doo.
