Onslow, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, which, on 13th January of 2022, last year, on Australia's west coast, the coast of Western Australia, had a record temperature of 50.7C or 123.7 F. However, it only equalled the Oodnadatta (Simpson Desert) record of 2nd January of 1960.

Lucknow, India. As the capital & administrative centre of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow has been a strategic centre for Indian independence, during what was called The Raj".
Windermere, the name of both the largest lake in England and the town named after it (which isn't actually on the shore of the lake, but over a mile further uphill... but never mind. It's one of my favourite areas to visit for a day trip or a short stay! )

Happisburgh, a village on the coast of Norfolk, England... and in the famously illogical manner of English place names, pronounced Hays-buruh.

Hanmer, a small NZ town with hot springs and outdoor activities to attract tourists and locals.

Rottnest Island, a lovely place to commune with cute-looking Quokkas, & even meet Ospreys nesting along the shores. This little island that a Dutch explorer, called Willem de Vlamingh, thought was a rat's nest, is a fairly short ferry ride from Fremantle, Western Australia.
