Peter Cook, (deceased), a British comedian of the mid-late 20th century; played the clergyman who spoke the famous lines,"Mawwiage is what bwings us togevah today."

(Reverend) Samuel Marsden, an early minister & magistrate, who lived in what is now Western Sydney, at a place now called Mamre House, near St Marys. Called the "Whipping parson", he did a lot of good work in New Zealand where he was much appreciated.
