(Captain/Lieutenant Reginald) Reg Saunders, the first Aboriginal Australian to be commissioned as an officer in the Australian Army. He served in the Korean War (1950-1953) but was also the son of one of the Aboriginal First World War veterans. He also served in Greece and Crete in WW2. Of course last Sunday was the centenary of the end of WW1.
