Caspian: Uh, overjoyed, but overwhelmed at the same time. I felt excited and scared. Having a whole kingdom suddenly upon your shoulders....it's really quite a challenge. I was intimidated at first, but i know how much good I could do

To Eustace: Why did you like bugs and beetles?

Eustace: They reminded me a lot of people I knew - basically everyone, really, but especially Edmund. Obviously I don't feel like that now, of course.

To Peter: How did you feel when you held a sword for the first time?

Peter: I felt suddenly strong and powerful. I was dazzled not only by the gleam of the blade, but the knowledge that I could very possibly hold the difference between life and death. At the same time, pangs of fear rippled through my heart at the thought that this weapon gave me the power to blot out a soul from the world. The responsibility was bone chilling and shiveringly awesome at the same time.

To Susan: How did you feel when your brother, Peter, held his sword for the first time?

Susan: It was very interesting. Before I just thought of hima s a boy and my brother. Then, he looked like a man, and like my protector.

To Lucy: How did you heal so many people without your cordial running out?

Lucy: Well, I don't know, but it only took one drop and then they were well again!! I was so happy to help so many people! I love my healing cordial (said w/ VDT line corniness about the cordial;)) )

To Peter: What did you think when Lucy went on an on about Narnia- a fake world in the wardrobe?

Peter: At first I thought she was just playing a game, like younger children do. But then she wouldn't admit it, and I was suddenly afraid that she was insane! Of course she wasn't. I can't tell you how glad I was when we stepped into Narnia.

To Edmund: How did it feel when Lucy healed you with her cordial?

Edmund: Better. All the pain left and I felt... much better.

To Jill: How did it feel to ride on an owl?

Jill: It was horrid! I was SO glad when it was over!

To Eustace: How did you feel to fall off of the cliff?

Eustace: I'm not one for falling off cliffs, so I was very terrified. Imagine the highest cliff you've ever been on. I assure you, the cliff I fell off was much worse than that could ever be. But when I realized I hadn't landed (or died), I was cautiously relieved.

To Edmund: How did it feel to break the White Witch's wand, and then get stabbed?

Edmund: It felt great to destroy her evil powers, someone had to stop her! I only half-remember getting stabbed as I was in so much pain I lost consciousness, but it was worth it.

To Reepicheep: How did it feel rowing over the crest of that huge wave?

Reep: Like a dream coming true. There was nothing I longed for more than to see what was beyond it.

To the bird Eustace talks to: What were you thinking when a human started talking to you as if you were a talking animal?

Bird: Well, it was rather odd. Usually, I am either ignored or shooed away. In a way though, it made me feel good because I would love to be a talking animal!

Aravis: How did you feel when you found out the reason Aslan had clawed your back?

Aravis: I felt ashamed, like a child being punsihed.

Edmund: I felt honored and touched, because I felt the same about him.

Jadis: Oh, he did well enough, I suppose. I was ready to get rid of him soon, so that Pensive girl took care of that for me...
