Susan: I almost did give him a chance when he visited me at Cair Paravel. But when Edmund, Mr. Tumnus and I came to see him in Calormen, I quickly realized he was a wolf in sheep's clothing. It became obvious how aggressive, power-hungry, and nasty he truely was. No way would I've ever married him after that!

Lucy: Oh my, lots of things! For one, we acted like a real family. We all had respect for our Mom and Dad, and we didn't call them by their first names! We read, but we read more fairy tales. And our Parents loved us too much to let us turn out rotten like Eustace did for while

Shasta: That was a very surreal time, first I meet someone who I look like and then finding out that that was my twin and learning I was a long lost prince was extrodinary.

To Nikabrik: Why would you want to bring the White Witch back to life?

Nkabrik: The power of the White Witch to overcome the hated Telemarines was worth any risk that came from awaking her.

Aravis: I was embarrassed at myself, for how we'd acted, and inside I guess I was kind of happy for him. But it was really shocking!

Caspian: I wasn't sure how to feel, really. I mean, I didn't know him all that much but I was sad. But he did kind of get on my nerves a bit.

Aunt Letty: First, "Wow! Has Andrew found a woman?" Then, "Great! Just great! No wonder Andrew's acting weird." And finally, "Wait a minute, somehting doesn't seem right about this lady. Something about those eyes..."

To Digory: What can you say about that Narnian tree in your yard that you made into a wardrobe?

Digory: Well, what would you like me to tell you about it, young sir? The story behind it is far too long to write here, but surely you know that. As for anything behind the official story, well, it did give off a rather sweet smell in the springtime. The apples from it were the very best- not quite as good and healthful as The Apple, but still the best in all of England (if I do say so myself). But perhaps my favorite memory of all was during a hot, stifling day in the late summertime, with no wind at all. The Tree was standing quite still one second as I looked out the window, but, with a sudden invisible gust, it started rocking and swaying wildly. However, none of the other trees so much as dropped a leaf. Of course, I was by now quite used to such circumstances- the explanation being that there was a storm in Narnia near the Mother Tree. The swaying continued for several minutes, and I went back to my book- a commentary on Plato and his works authored by a man by the name of David Howe- you really should read it sometime. Excellent book, although Howe does tend to dither over small details and take a rather long time getting to the point. Anyway, where was I? Ah, yes, the Tree. Well, the Tree had been swaying so violently that the young servant girl, Emily by name, came rushing in, frightened, and asked what was happening in the backyard. I believe her exact words were "What sort of- of- magic is happening? What makes the tree sway so?" I could hardly suppress a chuckle- if only she knew. "Why," said I, "perhaps there is some sort of small cyclone about the tree." For how could I explain to her the real magic behind it? Still not convinced, Emily looked out the window at the Tree- and, lo and behold, it had ceased to sway. You should have seen Emily's face. The poor girl nearly fainted with shock. "But-but-but", she said, unable to come up with even a coherent thought. "Forget it," I said, "and go on with your business." But neither she nor I could forget it- she because it was so strange, and I because it reminded me of things- things that had happened in Narnia and caused me to long for Aslan's presence.
That night, the Tree started swaying again. I heard it as I lay awake, thinking about Aslan. Some twigs and one of the smaller branches broke off and smashed against Emily's window, breaking it. Of course, Emily woke up in a fright, finding her window broken with no apparent storm except a swaying Tree which seemed to follow its own rules. I told her not to worry about it, but I could see it was giving her quite a scare. The next morning, I got up early and went out to the Tree. "Aslan," I said to it, hoping against hope that the King of kings would hear me. "How long will you delay my coming home?" Here I sighed. "Sir, sir, you know how much I long to see You. Give me the strength to bear up until I see Your face again." I felt quite comforted. Then a fit of jollity overtook me. "Now, sirree, you have been quite a naughty Tree this past day and night," I remarked loudly. "How dare you, a mere Tree, cause such frights to Emily, a Daughter of Eve? 'Tis not right or proper. I expect you to apologize immediately." As I turned away from the Tree, I saw Emily staring wide-mouthed a few feet away. Aslan only knows why she was outside. But when she heard me talking to the Tree-about her, no less- she did faint from shock, and had to be carried inside. She left the next day, to no great surprise. Ah, you should have seen the look on her face, dear boy! It was a sight worth seeing. I can only imagine what I looked like, scolding a Tree! But there you have my favorite memory of the Tree.

Polly; Well I'm not sure what you mean... Because I am still in Narnia!
But if you mean that time when Aslan himself took us to the WBW then it really wasn't all that odd. One second we were in Narnia, the next we weren't.

To The Professo; why is Mrs.Mccready (I'm guessing on the spelling.) always so upset?

Professor: Mrs. MacCready is never upset. She may sound cross occasionally, but she has to take care of a very important house that people come to see frequently so it's understandable. And she thinks I need looking after and I don't like it when people look after me. But here's a word of warning for you, young man: never accuse a lady of being upset; she will only get more upset and deny that she was ever upset in the first place.

Tumnus: I didn't know what humans were like before I met her. After I met her I just couldn't turn her in to the White Witch. That's why I kept playing my pipes so long after she fell asleep. I knew I was supposed to hand her over, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I knew what the White Witch would do to me if I didn't, but how could I hand over an innocent child to the Witch?
