Always, especially if I am overseas, as I like little mementos to remind me of where I have been, even if they are t-shirts or tea towels.

Sometimes, though I don't have to go far. I live in one of the most beautiful areas in the country for fall foliage viewing!

Sometimes, and by "sometimes" I mean often. I use a lot of notebooks for that purpose too, which is why it's not "always".

Never. With my lung condition I physically can't ride a bike, unless it's an electric one.

Define "early". If by "early" you mean before the week before Christmas, sometimes. If by "early" you mean "before December", absolutely not - I don't like to do any Christmas shopping/other festivities before Thanksgiving.

Always, and usually every other night of the year. 
I love night time and especially New Year's festivities. It's nice to toast in the coming year with family, a glass of champagne, and a few hor d'oeuvres.
