Sometimes, especially on snowy days when I'm cuddled under a blanket.
ASN: Solve puzzles of any sort (crossword, sudoku, etc.)?
We have nothing, if not belief.
—C.S. Lewis
Always! I love crosswords especially! Gotten out of the habit of real jigsaw puzzles but now we have a proper roll up mat (for saving for later) so we can start again!
ASN: Cheat while playing board games?
"Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you!"
- Dr. Seuss
Never that I can recall.
ASN: Chart out specific constellations when stargazing?
We have nothing, if not belief.
—C.S. Lewis
Seldom.
ASN: Dig through dictionary pages to find new words for your vocabulary?
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."
Sometimes, but more often using a dictionary (English/English) to settle disputes on spelling words.
ASN: Find yourself being asked to explain what words mean?
Sometimes.
ASN: Watch a TV series in order?
Some days you battle yourself and other monsters. Some days you just make soup.
Always. I love getting to know the characters and the feel of the show that way and it's not as enjoyable to go back and watch previous seasons later when you already know how the story with unfold.
ASN: Return loans from the library late?
We have nothing, if not belief.
—C.S. Lewis
Sometimes, if I have been strictly truthful, as even the strictest librarians were sometimes naughty children, once upon a time.
Do the crossword puzzles and general knowledge quiz in your daily newspaper?
Never, though when I was younger I would occasionally fill out a few rows, if I could.
ASN: Check your mail daily?
Some days you battle yourself and other monsters. Some days you just make soup.
Always. Or, if I'm away from home for any reason, I arrange that someone will collect my mail for me. Full letter boxes and uncollected newspapers say something that could be serious about the residences the letter boxes belong to.
ASN: Read magazines or books whilst waiting for a doctor?
Sometimes, but in truth rather rairly, as I am usually late to my appointments and have little time to indulge in reading.
ASN: Turn off a show or movie halfway if it's not interesting or poorly done?
We have nothing, if not belief.
—C.S. Lewis
Almost always. Why waste my time?
ASN: wear your pajamas all day if you have no plans that day?
Love God, love people
Never. Unless, perhaps, I'm pretty sick and need to stay in bed all day anyway.
ASN: Blow-dry your hair after washing it?
Some days you battle yourself and other monsters. Some days you just make soup.
Seldom - mine is shortish now, and I use a product that helps its curls stay in.
ASN - sleep with a window open?
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."
Always when the weather permits!
ASN: walk somewhere instead of driving?
Love God, love people
