Bacon, zucchini and pasta, all in suitable quantities, with mozzarella or parmesan cheese and with some pasta sauce makes a tasty meal for one person.

Cheese makes a wonderful addition to many types of dishes.

Dill with lemon juice, sprinkled on fish being grilled, or pan-fried, gives a bit of variety to a fish diet.

Elegant as it may sound, dill-covered fish has little appeal to those who do not like seafood.

Fennel and Fenugreek are two herbs I don't know much about but are often used to jazz up dishes whether they include seafood or other sorts of meats.

Gourmets and gourmands have dominated this conversation for a while, but don't you think it's time to change the subject?

There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.

Have you any other topics besides food in mind that you would like to discuss?

Just now I was reading about the US ships Lexington and Yorktown which featured in the battle of the Coral Sea seventy five years ago.

Knowing very little about that battle, I'll be interested to hear what you learned from your reading.

Lexington and Yorktown were both large US ships which were named, I think, after battles in the American Revolution, but they were also accompanied in the WW2 Battle of the Coral Sea by HMAS Australia and HMAS Hobart commanded by Rear Admiral John G Crace.

Mack was the name of a Destroyer-Escort in the US Navy during WWII, named for a sailor who was killed in action and posthumously awarded the Navy Cross.

Neither side had an outright victory in the Battle of the Coral Sea, but it was considered a major turning point in the eventual outcome of WW2.

Of special note also was the sinking of the Bismarck, a success for the British at a much-needed time.

Port Jackson, AKA Sydney Harbour, where the USS Chicago was at the time, was attacked by three Japanese midget submarines on May 31st, 1942, but not one of the submarines survived the encounter.
