Zeppelins were a relatively recent development in transportation technology during World War I.

Airplanes revolutionized not only war but civilian travel in times of peace.

But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

Biplanes are still popular today among wing walkers.

Co-piloting any sort of aircraft holds a sneaking fascination for me.

Don't forget the perils of travelling by air this day when we mourn for those who died in the MH17 disaster.

Even though I know that airplanes are statistically a very safe way to travel, the idea of flying still makes me nervous.

Flying long distance is often the only way to travel to and from Australia, but I'll admit to being ever so relieved to get back home safely.

Getting back home is so nice, no matter how much you enjoy travelling.

Home, there's just no place like it.

I've occasionally wondered if Dorothy Gale ever knew that there was a real place called Oz, at the opposite side of the world from Kansas?

Kansas is the home of Dorothy Gale, Toto and Fantasia_Kitty, isn't it?

Laugh if you want, but I read 'Toto' as 'Tonto' and thought I'd missed some part of the Lone Ranger canon. ;))

Montana might be part of the range where the Lone Ranger and Tonto ranged.

Never would've thought they'd go that far north, but you never know!
