Gone with the Wind is supposed to be a very good film, but I've never seen it.

Honestly, I'm not very classic-film literate...

I am not familiar with very many classic films myself.

Jimmy Stewart is one of my favorite classic film actors; Mr. Smith Goes to Washington and The Shop Around the Corner are two of his films and they're great.

Last year I saw the Jimmy Stewart film No Highway in the Sky and thought it was a lot of fun. :)

Never seen those, but might like to try to see them at some point.

One suggestion I have is to start with something light-hearted, like "Arsenic and Old Lace".

People really seem to love that one, ram, but unfortunately I've never had the chance to see it.

Querying internet movie sites might offer additional insight as to classic movies you might like.

Too bad such movies may not be available on free-to-air television around the world.

Unfortunately, I can no longer watch TCM due to the high price of cable here in the US! (And I really miss it :( ).
