Perhaps what goes in them is magical, not the kettles themselves.

Quintessential in the 'magical kettle' genre is the Cauldron of Plenty... unless y'all were talking about tea kettles, in which case I give you The Princess and the Swineherd.

Really, it is what goes into teapots that is allegedly magical.

Some would argue that tea leaves are fairly magical.

Tea bags have largely stopped the practice of reading tea leaves to predict the future, but did tea leaves ever predict that development?

Understandably, I believe, they were very silent on the matter. ;))

Where would one go about finding one of these magical teakettles, or some of the magic leaves (should they exist)?

Xylophone and guitar music and mystical gypsy-style decor denote the sorts of tea shops where allegedly magical tea leaves may be read.

Chapters, pages and paragraphs about tea leaves can be found in many books, not only in something like Tea leaf reading for dummies. :D

Descriptions of this sort of behavior aren't typically in my reading materials.
