Yes, we all went there, including the baby as you can see in the picture below. But it was more than 25 years ago. At the time it cost not much more for us to take a family for a week's holiday to Beijing as it did to take a holiday visiting Tasmania.
We've also been to Jamberoo once or twice on extended family picnics.

It isn't my photo, but I've been there anyway. Due to copper mining near Queenstown the moonscaped countryside looks something like Mordor. This is why NZ got to be the setting for LOTR & the Hobbit.
