Kaikoura, a coastal town in New Zealand, famous for crayfish (lobster) and whale-watching boat excursions for tourists.

There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.

Norwich, pronounced Norritch, a town in south east England.

:) :) I've visited Norwich many times and know it quite well — it's the home of Julian of Norwich, the 14th-century anchoress (religious recluse) whose "Revelations of Divine Love" is the earliest known book in the English language to have been written by a woman. She had a series of visions of Christ's Passion (while on what was expected to be her deathbed) in which she saw God as infinitely loving, as equally our Mother as well as our Father, who has given absolutely all for our salvation and who promises that, no matter what we go through in this world, "all shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well." For anyone who's interested, she is really worth looking into.

Sariwon, the capital of the North Hwanghae Province in North Korea. An interesting little town that Kim Jong-il ordered built to display ancient Korea. Despite being historically inaccurate, it is popular with tourists.

I beg to differ — there's a brilliant one at Whiddon Down in Devon, too! :D (Mind you, that's on the A30, not a motorway, so maybe that doesn't count, but it is still a service area.)

Warrnambool, on the south-west coast of Victoria, Australia. (I was driving near there with friends once and we saw a father emu and his chicks — it's the males who look after the brood — just walking casually by the roadside, which was a wonderful sight. :) )

"I am,” said Aslan. "But there I have another name. You must learn to know me by that name. This was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia, that by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there.”
