Penrith, New South Wales. Last Saturday at 3.pm the maximum temperature was 48.9 Celsius, that is to say, just under 120 degrees Fahrenheit, making that area the hottest spot in the entire world, including Africa & South America the second time in two years. Oh yes, I happen to live there.
