Alright, Marshy. Taking a break actually sounds good right now. Will everyone simply wrap up their characters threads like we do for a time jump?
About new locations appearing later: Sounds fun! Maybe by then I will have come up with some more characters to add.

Yup, just like we do for a time-jump. We'll just wrap the day up and then start the break after it's done. Unless by some weird twist it's not complete before November comes...highly unlikely.

I had to pull the story along because it was dragging. Come on, guys! Let's plot and get this thing going. Each level will get more interesting, but we can't get to the next level if we don't finish the first.

How does one get involved in a RPG in this? The Star Wars one called Secret Origins looked interesting.

How do you create a character and put him into a story? Do you post his profile and everything or just make him up as the story goes along?

Sorry, but Secret Origins is just about wrapped up. There's not really any room for a new character to fit into the storyline. There are quite a few other stories going on though.

Hi N_W! Welcome to this part of the forum.
You create a character by thinking up an interesting character who has a name and a past and a personality. There are forms in the thread called "The Post Office" that help to do this. The forms have little spaces where you can fill out all sorts of interesting character information.
Then you PM the author of a story you'd like to join (Or create your own, and post it in the Fountain) and if they give you the OK, you start writing! It's lots of fun.

Actually, a better RP to join right now, in my opinion, is A (Slightly) Less Normal Life. It started in this Fountain, so it would be easy to catch up with, and it's set in Ditto Town with no major battles or wars planned. Basically you can bring your character in and experiment with them in an RP that isn't mega-huge. It's a perfect "first-time RPing" RP.
