I had my external drive, which had all my copies of stories from old DT on it. Fortunately, someone was able to recover them all for me, but they now just have numbers instead of names, so it may take a while for me to locate which ones I have. I may just go through and save pages en masse for what I was involved in....

Okay, glad that so many of the stories have been saved. Now I'm going to ask for a big favor, could all of you email the stories you've saved to me? Email is in my profile.

I'm also going to get to work on the Ditto Town Wiki. We've kind of neglected it, but I'm going to go through the Post Office on the old forum and create pages for all the old characters.

Please carry on with the roleplays, and for those that I give my characters to temporarily, please do not staple, mangle, or otherwise mutilate them.

Ryan and Mansioneers: As Amë is in control of this level, proceed as you like. Ryan, I bequeath to you control of Kari and Xerec. Tote them along nicely, please!

Joe: You may move Kay along as the story needs, but please do not do much besides moving her and putting her on trial. She's okay to stay quiet during the trial.

Ryan: If you can control me (weird!), the Lieutenant, and Evory, I'd be much obliged. Oh yes, and the general.

To Whom It May Concern

So I took an unannounced sabbatical from RPing. I'm sorry to have dropped off the face of the earth without warning... I needed this time of reflection that I couldn't do while RPing. I hope that for those who I am involved with in my RPs (especially UI, since it seems UI started their hiatus at the same time I ran off and I hope that has nothing to do with me. ) understand that it has nothing to do with them but the personal issues that have surrounded my life right now.

That said, I am officially announcing that I am dropping out of RPing, for good. Something I have never told anyone is that I started RPing because at that time in my life I needed a getaway place from my real life. That sounds cliché and pathetic, but it is true. I never did writing in this shape or form before I came here, and my close friends can testify that I struggled a lot with writing, which was only a minor excuse for what was really going on. I had many times when I wanted to throw in the towel and give up, but for some reason the draw of Ditto Town was hard for me to resist. Probably because of the good friends I made here.

But times have changed. I have changed. I knew this day would come, but I didn't know when. I have been with NarniaWeb for four years, and I have fond memories of the stories I participated in, watched others developed, and enjoyed the good company of my fellow writers. I personally have to say that my time here wasn't long enough, but you can never anticipate the end until it pounces on you from behind.

This was a long winded speech that I didn't intend to get into. In short, I wish all my writers well in the future they create, filled with drama and the pursuit of happiness.

I'll certainly miss you, Bubbly. You are an excellent writer, and always bring some spice to the writing around here. Regardless, I can totally understand your decision. People always change, and with those changes come physical changes, such as deciding not to continue roleplaying.

I hope your life continues outside of DT to be marvelous!
