Well... as narnianerd knows, I'm looking to join Return of the Fountain Fellowship... I have a profile for my character, Concord, in the Post Office (page 8), and I was wondering whether anyone would mind checking over it to see if it's acceptable.

So my little brother (Pickle) and I were hanging out and chatting about NW yesterday, and found out we're looking to join the same two roleplays! rofl

Can anyone help me out... just let me know sort of where people are and what's going on right now? I can't really figure it out without more backreading than I have time for this week. <.<

I haven't actually started yet, but I've been searching for some answers too and this is what I've found out so far:

1)

A basic summary of what happened recently (thanks lover of narnia!):

Currently, all our characters are running from the hunters. My main charrie, Susanne, is being hunted by then and was taken in by these people. Let me summarize. She ran to a blacksmith shop and collapsed on the door step, the black smith came out and was joined by a another man and helped her. They took her to a inn, in a near by town. There they met a nobles daughter, Shyanne, who had had previous acquaintances with the blacksmith. They new Susanne was being hunted but she was so exhausted and rather sick that she couldn't talk. They quickly bought some rooms for the night and sent for the local doctor. Only to find out, by a nice couple, that the doctor was a drunkard at night and would be of no service. They were put out, until the nice couple offered to help. They agreed and took Susanne to a room, in hopes that she could get some rest and the girl could help. while they were up in the room, the hunters closed in on the building. They surrounded the structure, slaughtered all the people eating and drinking in the tavern below. Then they moved in on the room. Right before they were about to come in and kill them as well, they found a secret door in floor and escaped into the cellar below. Now the hunters are in the room above and are also finding out where they have gone.

2) Since then, the hunters have tried to smoke them out and accidentally set the inn on fire.

That's where it is now as far as I know but there may be more that someone else can tell you.

Well, i may be wrong on this, but i think most of the characters are in some kind of warehouse, preparing to .. do something or other against the forces of evil, while Kay the cook (sweeet's character) has been arrested and taken to some sort of judge.

I'm sorry this has to happen, especially after I've missed NarniaWeb so much and only just come back and started to get reinvolved... But I am leaving, for good this time.

Since RotFF and Vayond have pretty much been the extent of my involvement so far, I figured I'd just announce this here. My personal walk with God and my love for forums and roleplay have come to a direct confrontation, as I feel I've been called to live in reality and put my heart and soul into the relationships I have in the real world, and my constant need for forums has been hindering that calling.

I'm mostly concerned about those I feel I've "stood up"--I really was intending to join some roleplays and get involved. It was just this weekend that I've made this decision--I went to my church's college retreat and did a lot of thinking and discussing. I really hope I haven't offended anyone.

I love you guys, even if you didn't know it because I was often more a lurker than a poster. NarniaWeb has always been sort of my home online, where I eventually drifted back to no matter where else on the internet I strayed, and I will miss it sorely. Those who are Christians here... I would ask for prayer, that my resolve will not waver as I leave what has been an integral part of my life for seven years now, since I was eleven.

Okay, so really random, but I just finished a short story that has Chloe and Will in it. I'm thinking that some of you Sol-ers and ex-Sol-ers might be interested. I also has Djaq, PrinceCor, and sweeetlilgurlie as sub-characters. With their names changed of course. Anyhow, if any of you are interested, or just bored, give me a PM and I'll send it to you.

The Old Forum

Tirian said that the old forum will be around for about a year, which means we're getting closer to its demise. I was wondering how many of the old Fountain and Mansion stories have been backed up on people's computers and things. I'm interested in collecting them all together, but because I tend to laziness, I'd rather not do the work if people have copies they can send me.

It was nice having you around for a little while at least, Elsendor! I hope that your life goes smashingly.

Oh dear. Oh dear oh dear oh dear. I haven't catalogued anything. I'd certainly like to, though. Some of it is really good writing and then I'm just sentimental about my first RP posts. I'll start looking soon.

I've only really saved what parts my favorite characters were in (along with whoever was writing with me at the time).

I do have all of YEY from when my character Lacy appeared to when it ended (I'm pretty sure I have everyone). I also have all of Mansion 13 (War of Souls) and Mansion 14 (Doga's War) up until Lone Wolf left the company.

I was working on saving Unilluminated but got too busy to continue. I think perhaps Marshy is working on that, not sure though.

That's great, Ryan. I was really hoping that someone had saved those two Mansions in particular.

I've got a good chunk of Secret Origins saved, but I need to finish that. I think Ame saved all of DSR and possibly Crisis and TWBTS, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

Amë has saved all that we've written of Crisis and TWBTS, I'm pretty sure. At least, she was saving them. She may have stopped. Anyone have the Old Forum address? I'm up for cataloging some writing.
