Just so everyone knows (as many might have guessed) the island is in fact the new area opening up for rplay. You are allowed to introduce some new characters here but please do not do so until Darileen and Victor have actually landed on the island. We'll be introducing geography etc. through our posts, so watch for that.

Also, since this is the prison island that the government has been shipping Unnaturals off to, the residents are all convicted Unnaturals. It is a destiny saved for very marked Unnaturals, not for minor ones like humans with 'safe' powers, elves or anything like that so keep it in mind when making characters for the island. They need to be either dangerous, felons or just unusual-looking.

Finally, there is no security on the island- all guards are stationed off shore to make sure no one escapes. On the island it is a free for all amongst the convicts- and beware nightfall the vamps have a limited blood supply.

Mansion

So what's happening with the mansion? I just started posting in there and as soon as I posted (literally as in mine are the last two posts with only one in between welcoming me) it like died and nothings been happening for about about a month and a half or so. So is anyone working on writing the way for the story to go now? I'm kind of new to this so I can't really think of any way to make it go right now. I PMed sweeetlilgurlie since she's the one who kind of started it I think to see if she had a particular way for the story line to go but she hasn't replied yet. Is anyone else going to post in there soon?

Mansion

Never got that PM, N_A_H. Sorry for you having to wait! I'm the one who has to move, and life has been busy lately. Then and again, it might just be me being lazy because we're at a deadish spot. I'll review what's happening in my spare time today and try to get up a post ASAP.

Here is the description of Aspros the Island. Aspros is located off the coast of the main body of Dittotopia. It's a very small volcanic island (one main volcano in the center of the island) that is tropical in weather/vegetation. The main beach of Aspros is a rare 'black' beach that has black sand from former magma slides. The water is very clear and contains a wide variety of creatures (of which a few are edible).

On the western side of the island is one river and a canyon. Along this canyon are ancient dwellings that were carved into the canyon walls. These dwellings were extended into the steam vents that are natural to the island. Right now the local vampires live in those tunnels, their shelter from the light during the day.

Of all the creatures on the island the vampires are currently the most powerful because they have killed off many of the other felons and because of their cooperation under the leadership of Joe Bentheart. To survive the other denizens of the island either acquire protection from Joe by striking a deal with him or by being very clever at hiding once night falls.

There you are- new characters may join whenever, though be sure to keep in mind that only deemed 'dangerous' felons are sent to the island.

To whom it concerns
I would advise all to use caution when using the Ditto Town Wiki for a while, Wikipedia seems to be infected with a trojan virius and its affecting its branches such as ours and Wookiepedia, in fact it would be a good idea to stay off Wiki for a while...

Ditto Town Lexicon

I went ahead and checked it, and nothing is showing. I've run the site, and nothing came up on it, so I think the Lexicon is clean for use. As always, it is advisable to have a protective system on your computers.

Also...I noticed that the person who mostly updates the Wikia is zlcva. Do remember this is a group effort open to all Dittotopians and Dittopians alike.

Mansion

I posted for the Mansion at last! A few days later than I intended, but I posted. I'm resolving not to let it fall this far behind again.

Anyhow, Person Who Has the Ditto, this is your cue! Then we can wrap up this segment.

Retirement Notice
Well guys, since it looks like S.O. has pretty much wrapped, at least as far as my characters are concerned, I've decided to finally set a date for my official retirement from Ditto Town. I'll be saying my final farewell on February 15, on my four-year anniversary of joining NarniaWeb... unless something happens in Secret Origins that I absolutely have to have the Autobots participate in.

Sunrise of Life

There comes a time when friends must part ways...in a less fancy wording, I'm quitting this role-play. It was kind of a BIG decision. I've been in this roleplay since July/August of 2009. I was looking forward to hitting my One Year of Sunrise of Life, but now six month into it I am, well, burned out.

First of all, I have less time to commit to NarniaWeb. Then it was getting crowded too. But then Joe left, and then Lucy left and now it's just you three writing. And truthfully, you seem to be keeping the house up pretty good. Pretty active. You're having fun, and I want that for you guys.

Who will be the president? Well, typically RPG's don't have presidents. When I leave (which is now) the presidency is going nowhere. If you three decide to elect/choose a president, you're free to do whatever!

That said, who will take my characters? I will! They'll live on in my stories, novellas, and flunks of-a-novel. So sorry, I won't be passing them around today.

In appreciation of your awesomeness and perseverance, you each get a chocolate-covered elf from my NW forum inventory.

Any questions or things I left out - you can PM me for.

And in one month and four days I will be ONE YEAR on NarniaWeb!

Anyone know how to get to the old Nweb site? I thought I'd saved the address in my faves but it's not there. Also, has anyone already saved the entirety of UI or should I start from the beginning to save it?

Thanks. I'll save the speech till my farewell address. I do want to chime in and encourage everyone to help out NarniaNerd with his story. As he said, I've been helping him out with developing it, and I think both he, and the story, have great potential that's worth supporting.
