I have been well as well, thanks! I enjoyed Christmas ever so much, and even better yet my siblings liked the presents I got for them, so I'm happy. How did your Christmas break go?

Yes, I am enjoying it so far! For me it's not terribly hard---yet. It helps that I know piano pretty well.

Siblings liking the gifts is the best part.

Christmas break is going well, thanks! It's been a lot of fun, and my sister and brother-in-law with their daughter have been here almost constantly for 2 weeks, which I don't mind.

Update: Grandma got a clean bill of health on Christmas Eve and my uncle is back home recovering at a good rate. Thank you all for your prayers!

Happy New Year everyone!!! *was up till midnight last night, and as a result is now exhausted* I'm really not a night owl...can you tell? Anyway, I can't believe it's already 2010!! We went bowling yesterday with some friends...I scored 102, which is a lot for me... Then we went shopping and had dinner together.

NN95, glad you had a nice Christmas! I'm sad now that the holidays are over though...it's my favorite time of the year. And now we have a couple months of cold, windy weather and snow and ice ahead of us...anyway, I'm so excited that it's 2010. 2009 flew by way too fast.

Ceppault, yup, I had a wonderful Christmas! Haha, yeah, Cracker Barrel is awesome. They have the yummiest food ever.

Miss Rose, I'd rather have braces than a retainer. For me, the retainer would always shift around in my mouth...it was really uncomfortable. Yeah, taking it out is gross, though...
Oh, you got to see NT 2?? I haven't seen it yet! I'm looking forward to the third one too.

My appearance is to wish all you wonderful, friendly, lovely, dear SquareOnions a Happy New Year & 2010! Thank God for another year! It's another decade and it feels...just the same. Oddly, it doesn't feel like the New Year. Except for last night.

We went to church; they had a New Years thing until 12/12:30 and that was spectacularly fun. Firstly, when we went, I went into the youth room which was otherwise the game room and chatted with a friend about classic books. She has excellent taste in them. And then, they were signing up for tournaments so I convinced myself to sign up for Foosball even though I was sure I would lose. C.S. signed up for Air Hockey, and I had all the faith in her. She did excellently, and was on a stream until someone else came but I still think she did wondefully. And, I turned out winning the Foosball tournament! I kept on praying and praying I'd win, and turns out I did. Yay! The food was good, as usual. My mom made some spiced rice that was delicious, so I enjoyed that along with stuff other people made. And then, around 11:30 we gathered in one of the larger rooms (It was really neat, we had about 650+ people.) and sung songs until the New Year came. At 11:58, the band decided to sing another song. Oddly, CS and I were saying that on New Year, we would say something apart from "Happy New Year!" and it ended up that majority of the people at church ended up singing "Thank-you, Lord" or something. So it still fit. =] After that we went around hugging people and giving them cordial New Year's wishes, and collecting balloons. Then we trooped into the car with the people whome we were giving a ride to, and CS and I were practically buried in balloons. It was the coolest feeling. Then we came home and I turned in for the night. A very satisfying New Year's celebration, on the whole!

So, that's it for my little post. Happy New Year's everyone! And, I'll come back for a catchup post, I pwomise. =| I think my laptop's coming tomorrow, so the first thing I'll do is make a catchup post.

*Bella stops by the chocolate tree and plucks a few dainty morsels off, and then skips out of the square murmmering to herself about some new poem or story she's been thinking of writing about, and then tumbles over in the snow, still deep in thought* Now I wish I could have a grand departure, on some magic creature.

*skips into the Square listening to "I Bowed on My Knees" by the Gaither Vocal Band* I'm going to a Michael English concert!!! Michael English is a member of the Gaither Vocal Band, but he's also produced his own CDs. Yesterday I found out that there was going to be a concert in our area, so my sister and I rushed to our parents and started begging them to take us. After some consideration, my mom said that she'd take my sister and me to the concert! It's on Saturday, a week from today! I am SO excited!

Anyway, I'd better get on to ketching-up (if that's the right word...) now.

Well, we just hung out for New Years. But I've got Christmas money and am hoping to get a new computer! Yay!

Ya' know, this Town Square is kinda like the one in the town I used to live in. We had fun there, went caroling on the square once, though we were kinda forced into it. lol
We were strolling the square during the "Small Town Christmas" festivities and came upon a group of people from a church. They had a few guitars, and one electric and were singing carols in one of the stores. We knew the guy who was in charge and when he saw us, he started grabbing the shirts of those closest to him saying, "Come on! Come on! Sing with us!" lol
So we did, and went caroling on the square. The next day he was proudly telling people who asked who those kids were that sang so well last night (!) that we were "Joey's Kids", which is of course my Dad. I wondered if they really knew who he was talking about, or if they just grunted and nodded their heads to seem like they knew. My Dad was well known in town, that was a fact. Won "Volunteer of the Year" two years in a row, was in the newspaper more times that I could count. But hey, I was in the newspaper more than once, and I didn't do anything really. It was a small town, and I really miss it.
