*bursts into the Square singing "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" *

With the snow we're getting, and the forecasts for windchills near 40 below, I think that's guaranteed. :)

How is everyone today?

Speaking of TV shows, today I laid my paws on the just-released season 5 DVD set of Lost. I can hear it calling from here. ;) But I intend to review season 4 first...watching them all in order so I can be ready for the start of the 6th and last season come February. And with our first winter storm on its way I can look forward to spending tonight with indoor pursuits.

But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

Good mortereve all!! :D

*waves to Eusy*

Djaq, lol, yeah, National Treasure is a great movie. I love Riley! He's so funny! Abigail Chase is one of my favorite characters too. :D

Mmm hmm! Riley and Abigail are my favorites too! ;))

Yeah, doing songs by ear is fun! I'm not very good at it though, so my piano teacher helps me a lot... ;))

I'm not very good at it either, but I've done a couple. :) I'm glad that you're enjoying it! :D

Good news! My cold is getting slightly better! :D And I actually got some sleep over the last two nights.

That is good news! :D

I don't see why not! It makes no logical sense to be up early in the morning anyway. ;))

I completely agree! ;))

Ah, okay. I couldn't remember what you'd said regarding that before. ;)

Yeah, I still haven't seen it.

I'm not sure if it's what he was intending, but "Remember When It Rained" has been a very meaningful song spiritually for me, too. :) I'd love to get the sheet music; especially since it doesn't look that hard to learn. ;) Oh, I forgot about "Oceano" and "Si Volvieras A Mi"! They're beautiful! :) (Rather off-topic, but I always find it amazing how much emotion and meaning can be still communicated through a song, even when you don't understand a word of the language. ;)) )
Have you heard any of Travis Cottrell's music? He's sort of a Christian Josh Groban. :)

Mmm, I can see that. :) I bought a piano book for "Closer", but it was an easy version (which I didn't know at the time I bought it)...a little too easy for me, and I still haven't gotten around to looking for another one. I need to do that. ;))
That's not really off-topic. ;) I feel that way about some of Josh's songs that are in another language. ;))
I have heard of Travis Cottrell, but I haven't really looked him up. Does he have a good voice? :)

Oh my...hope you bundled up! ;) That does sound like fun, though, other than the cold. ;) How did it go? :)

It went really well. :D There were heaters set up in the barn, and it was warm...thank goodness! ;))

*waves to all and skips out of the Square, singing "Vanilla Twilight"*

It seems like I usually quote you when you leave the Square singing something. ;)) ;) Anyway, I love that song! It's so pretty! :D

lol. How have you been, lately?

I've been doing good, thank you! :) There hasn't been a whole lot going on in my neck of the woods (well, I don't live in the woods, but there are trees around....). How have you been? :)

Thanks! It was entertaining to write!
I don't know. What color is he? I didn't see 'cause I was driving.

I'm sure it was. :P ;))
I actually hadn't looked to see what color he was; I was wearing sunglasses when he fell on top of me, so everything was looking a little "rosy". Anyway...*looks* He has light brown fur and dark brown eyes... Hmm, any ideas?

*waves to Lady A*

"Why thank you, Miss Djaq... how nice of you to say so!" Momo curls up in Djaq's lap, purring contentedly.

Well, it looks as if you've found yourself a new friend. ;) I'm wondering what will happen when she meets Vern.... *nervous cough*

*strokes Momo who is purring contentedly*

It would appear that I have. ;) ;)) Oh dear, yes, that could be a problem. :(

Wow... a joint post from flambeau and Djaq also? My, my... it seems that Ruby and Winter have begun a tradition. ;))

It sounds like you two had a very fun vacation! :)

Yep, we've joined the group of people-who-do-joint-posts. ;)) flam and I didn't know who should tell the news about our vacation, so we both did. ;))
Yes, we did. :D

I've been doing pretty well, thanks! And you? Conga-rats on winning NaNoWriMo!! That's great!

I'm glad to hear it. :) I've been good as well. :)
Aw, thank you so much! :D It was a really fun experience.

*waves to Kk*

*skimming...*

And now I finally know what you're talking about. ;))

Yay! ;))

Thank you! I've missed you all. Heh, I actually split it into two posts this time, because I didn't want to bore everyone. ;))

So I see. ;)) It works well to do it that way. Your posts haven't ever bored me. ;)

I love the Ditto display, Mel! :))

You're welcome! How did it go? :)

*points to a paragraph above to malkah* :) It went very well. :D

Thanks! :D :) :) So! How is life for you? :) How is your sister with the twins doing? :)

Life is going really good right now. :) I'm playing the piano for my church every Sunday and that has me a bit more stressed than usual, but I'm getting used to it which is good. :) My sister is still doing good! :) She hasn't had the babies yet, but we're kind of expecting them this week sometime (no guarantee though). :D

We got a bunch of snow yesterday! :D

How fun! :D We are supposed to get snow tomorrow, but I don't think that we will. Rain (or sleet) = The South's version of snow. :( ;)

Hmm... Djaq... Djaq... that name sounds familiar... I think I vaguely remember. :P Good to know you're alive. :P

Well, at least you vaguely remember. :P (You might remember me more as, like, "Jack" or "Riley" :P )

Thanks. Oops. I'm afraid I won't get this all by memory, so I'm going to write as much as I can by memory, and then check it by the movie to change anything I messed up on. Sound ok?
"No. That's where they clean, repair, and maintain all the document and the storage housings when they're not on display or in the vault. Now, when the case needs work they take it out of the vault across the hall into the Preservation Room. The best time for us, or Ian, to steal it would be during the gala this weekend while the guards are distracted by the VIPs upstairs, but we'll make our way to the Preservation Room, where there'll be much less security." Whew!
Aw, that's neat!

No worries. :) Sounds good to me; I did that on my really long Riley line.
"Well if Ian...the Preservation...the gala...huh...this might be possible."
Mmm hmm. :)

"Really?" NT1 (Ben to Abigail in the underground shafts. Yeah, really famous quote, I know. ;)) )

"Do you really think that mere force will deny me my right, little king?" LWW. That kind of fits, right? ;)) (It works. ;)) )
Do you have any idea how long we've been doing this? It's been awhile, I know, but I don't really remember when we started. ;))

"Sorry."

"Oh! Your majesty, with the greatest respect, I do believe courteous, courageous or chivalrous might more befit a knight of Narnia."

And, yay for an authentic, all-red ketchup post!

I thought that it had been too long since I did one. :)

How have you been lately? Did you have a good Thanksgiving? :)

Yeah, another new NT fan!

*throws confetti* :D ;)

Okay, cool. Well, not as good as most people. Yes, though, I must say that my inspiration is running low...I have uh...writer's block! Yes, that's it ;) .

Don't compare yourself to other people; you did a great job! :D
Ugh, writer's block is not fun! :( Keep going though, I know you can do it! :D

*waves to Liberty Hoffman*

That's it for me. :)
Oh, in relatively big news, my dad bought a truck on Saturday. :D It's a red Toyota Tundra. It's really cool...and very loud! ;))

Have a wonderful (and maybe snowy) Mortereve everyone!

Hello peoples! You probably don't remember, but I'm the Princess who comes and goes. You know the one that's always quoting her favorite movie and bugging people with information about her favorite football teams. Oh and add that horrible pun she came up with..."ketchup"--yeah, that's the one. Starting to brush those dusty cobwebs off your memory and remember me? :P Anyway, I'm back!!!

And talking about ketchup, I have a lot of that to do...
Starting back on page 57...eons ago.

Djaq, talking about SMs, did I put my real name in one of them a long time ago? *doesn't remember*

on page 58...

malkah, it seems like ages since we began this conversation in the Square, but since then we have talked a lot on chat, and I feel like I know you better.
Talking about my "motion adjuster" on my camera:

Is that the actual term? I have no idea. Whatever it's called, it sounds like you have a good one.

It's excelent! Five pictures with only one click and way zoomed in too! Can't get any better than that.

Thanks for posting your pics! Now I'm really impressed with your zoom. It looks as though you were sitting right on the sidelines!

We were sitting in one of the endzone, about 8 rows up. Great seats! :D

Ouch. Is there any particular reason you dislike those teams (Pats and Trojans)?

Actually, I'm not quite sure. I guess our family always disliked them, and they always seemed full of themselves... But I guess I really don't have a good answer for that question. I mean, it's not like rooting against Michigan. :P (that one doesn't take any thought... ;))

That's a good choice! They're a fun team to watch. What made you choose them (Cardinals)?

I read a biography on their QB. Pretty good guy.

I like Tim Tebow because of the way he uses his spotlight as a platform to glorify God. His humility and grace in competition are really refreshing, especially compared to too many other players in college and pro football. I also think it's neat that he's a fellow homeschooler and missionary kid. Why do you like him?

Lovely spoken, good way to put it. I like him for the very same reasons you have so eloquently formed. He's also such an emotional player and plays with such heart! All around he's a great guy. :)

Hello, PoN! *sends a big * I hope you've been doing well.

I have thank you. How have you been keeping? And how's winter in Michigan? Heard they expect quite a bit of snow...

*skips over to page 77 to catch up on the recent happenings*

Djaq, your sister had twins!!!! When? How did I miss such an important piece of news!? How are they doing? Boys? girls? one of each? Congratulations!

Oh my goodness, the time! Well, I must go. Perhaps I might be able to grace the Square with my presence again tomorrow. But in the meantime, "Sleep well, and dream of..." *cough* Erm, well, dream of nice things... Like Christmas! :D

Hello all! *Waves*

I'm thinking I'm gonna change my avatar soon....

Yeah it is really nice to be able to make Money!
Yeah a lot of us would be dead ;))

Your story sounds so cool! Makes me wish I would have been able to write! when is the next one?

I wish I could make money, but I can't. Oh well. *shrugs* Someday.

Thanks! The next NaNoWrimo? November 2010. Although, there's other stuff year-round. I haven't personally looked into it, but some of it looks interesting. http://www.nanowrimo.org/nowwhat
Scroll down to the bottom of that page and there should be a list of other writing activities a good one might be April's Fool, which allows you to set your own wordcount goal. Again, I haven't looked into these, but you might want to. :)

Seventeen days till Christmas, WinterStar! :p When does your Christmas break start?

Awesome! My break starts on the eighteenth. Yours?

Same here. Umm, I'm not sure. Doing any special for Christmas? (I wouldn't say we resolved the discussion, unless you concede that I was right... ;) )

Actually, for once we are. My grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary is just after Christmas so we're gonna go and celebrate Christmas, and then their anniversary with them and my cousins. :D You?
(Never! ;) )

Oh, how clever! Now why didn't I think of that...

lol, I kind of thought of that so you wouldn't kill me. Or throw it at me. ;)

I've been doing good, thank you! :) There hasn't been a whole lot going on in my neck of the woods (well, I don't live in the woods, but there are trees around....). How have you been? :)

That's good! lol. I've been pretty good, albeit slightly busy.

I'm sure it was. :P ;))
I actually hadn't looked to see what color he was; I was wearing sunglasses when he fell on top of me, so everything was looking a little "rosy". Anyway...*looks* He has light brown fur and dark brown eyes... Hmm, any ideas?

lol. I dunnae ken. What kind of names do you like to give stuffed animals? Practical ones? Long pompous ones? Sugary ones? It all just depends.

*Cor and Vern enter the Square dripping wet after an unsuccessful fishing trip. The Prince (wearing a very fine, if wet, brown cloak) takes a seat by the fire-pit as the Dragon lights a warm, cozy fire in said pit*

Remind me never to go along with you when you go fishing on a stormy night.... in December... when the temp is only slightly above 39 degrees. Achoo!

*God bless you. It wasn't really my fault, you know. How was I suppose to know you would fall into the stream after jumping around those rocks like a little kid?*

I was doing.... *sneeze*... fencing practice. Also, the stones were icy.

*You could be more careful next time.*

Eh, I guess your right... as usual. *the Prince, now nicely dried out and warm, takes his normal seat at the fountain accompanied by his faithful Dragon friend*

Mortereve all! Well, it's time for a catch-up post seeing as how over 4 pages have gone by since my last post.... :-o

-----------------------------------------------

@ Fanny. For some reason My Fair Lady is one of those films I really latched onto when I first saw it. Probably thanks to the songs and Rex Harrison. ;)

Life's going well, busy as it usually is this time of year, but well. :) And how about you and yours?

@ Nellie. Greetings! It's been a long time since you've been around here. How are you doing?

@ Ti'ana. *Ah, so life as normal. ;) That's very good to hear.*

*waves to Kat, Ara and Pels*

@ Djaq. Indeed! You're the only person I know of that has that name... er, username. It took me a long time to figure out how to pronounce "Djaq", BTW... ;))

Yep and for the last few days it's been rainy and cold. :p We got snow in 1993 and last year some counties below us got snow, but we never get any. Some flurries maybe, but it never sticks. :(

*Thank you. ;) :) *

Aye, that he did. :) I'm very pleased with the first two he did, especially the second one.

*Cor and Vern discover their respective gifts laying on the fountain that Ruby-Winter dropped off for them*

A ducky? Quack! Quack!

*Mmm! Dragon treats! Hmm, strange gift there, Cor. It's not even the edible kind....*

Yeah, strange.... :-

@ Lucy. Ah, I bet that was better than the madness at 4:00 in the morning. :p Our family has never been in the habit of going to Black Friday sales. :-??

@ Malkah. I've seen... 6 of Mr. Hitchcocks films. :) True, though sometimes a good special effects driven action film is fun to watch (Indiana Jones, Star Trek, Batman Begins)

Same here! Though, listening to clips (and if possible, whole tracks) is also a big deciding factor for me. I also prefer the score to PC over LWW, though I have not listened to either in a long time....

*waves to the always.... clever, Lady A*

@ Rose. Heh, I think I finally have it down to a post a week. Sometimes more if need be. :)

Mmhmm, it's been up for several weeks now. Let me know what you think of it!

Quite welcome, miss. :)

On quoting my post: For a very good reason, no doubt. ;)

I'm limping along when it comes to math tests, but I'm doing fine in the work books. Just a few more months of school then graduation!! :D *calms down* sorry about that.... ;))

I guess we are, though sometimes we don't feel so lucky... if you catch my drift. :|

@ Greenleaf. A few scenes where I felt the music should have been changed: the Jokers last speech, when Bruce goes to Hong Kong, when Batman tackles Two-Face and the end sequence/credits. You can really notice the music begin edited when Batman is running at the end of film, the music shifts from the strings to percussion without any build-up or set-up. :-
The LotR EE are SUPERB in the music department... well, actually all the way around they're superb. :p

Ditto. I think it would have been easier if his whole face had been burned instead of the half normal/half burned. *shivers* I did like the fact that they played around with hiding the burned half of his face in the shadows during the hostage scene at the end. A very nice touch. :)
I'm curious to see where they take the story from TDK. I hope it's as good as the first two.

She got married and was pregnant when they started filming. :)

*waves to Mel*

@ Rose and Djaq about Rose's cat: *No need to fear ladies, I do not eat cats. :) Besides, they are usually more fur than meat.... like sheep. ;) *

Or slippers. ;)

@ Princess. Hello Sis! Glad to see you making your once-every-other-month-except-for-leap-moths-or-when-there-is-a-blue-moon post. :D ;)

------------------------------------

Whew! I think that gets everything. For a little over 4 days, this sure is a lot! :-o

Well, I'll be off now. Goodnight to all!

*Cor and Vern exit the Square being sure to stop by the chocolate tree and grab some chocolates for Lady A*

*bursts into the Square for a ketchup post* Mortereve all! :) Yesterday was our last tennis class. It went fairly well. I think (I hope) I've improved a little bit.

NN95, I haven't seen National Treasure 2 yet, but our library has it and I'm going to check it out as soon as possible. :D Have you seen it? Is it good?

FF, we'll be visiting both sets of grandparents and lots of relatives for Christmas. As for any other Christmas-y events, hmm, well, none that I can think of the moment. How about you?
We got a little bit of freezing rain last night. Fortunately, it wasn't too bad, and I don't think we're going to have any more bad weather for the rest of the week.
Oh yes! Please send us some of your snow! :p Ours has mostly melted now.

*waves to stargazer* :) How are you doing?

Djaq, one of my favorite Riley lines is when Ben walks out with the Declaration right after the gala, and Abigail is coming out of the building behind him, and Riley is like, "Hey...Ben, the uh, the mean Declaration lady is behind you." Lol! :p ;))

*gasps* Could it be? Is it actually her? *squints* It is...it's Princess!!! I've missed you! It's great to see you around again! :D

Winter, we have schoolwork for the rest of this week and the week after that, then we're taking a break. :)

Betsie walks into Town Square, bleary-eyed from sleep and a perpetually groggy brain and a long absence, blinking at the brightness of the sun reflecting on the snow. (You say you didn't know there was snow? It's a foot deep, and more is falling!)

Everyone!!!! I'm here again! And now, for another catch-up post. 30 or 40 pages, I think... Oh. Just 34.

*curtsies to malkah* I'm a semi-newbie, too. ;) And feel like one very, very much. :( It's probably because I take month long leaves. ;)

What plot did you settle on for your novel? How did it go? Did you finish, and are you happy with it?

(Because I like to insinuate myself into other people's conversations:)

You think Fairest is better than Ella Enchanted? :-o I'll have to read it soon; maybe our next library trip. :)

I think I like Fairest better. I read it first, so that might be why. And I really don't know the story of Snow White at all. And, a singing country is one of the loveliest ideas in the world, I think.

(Further insinuation:)

I actually don't remember too much about the 2007 Elizabeth. ;)) Didn't she look quite a bit older though? I do think it's interesting that both adaptations have done a good job with Mary (who seems to be a much harder character to play), but they apparently can't figure out Elizabeth. ;)

How come I can't figure out what you're talking about? I feel for sure I ought to know....

*waves to Alyosha* It's fun to read posts from the beginning of November, when people were all talking about their ideas for their novels. Now, we've made them into books!

I need to get back in the swing (No. Not the one hanging from that tree. It's an expression.) of things, so that I can answer people alphabetically instead of chronologically. I need to do that kind of thing. For my soul, you know.

*waves to Narnia Girl* How are you?

*waves to Tiana* Is it just me, or did you used to have an apostrophe in your name? ;)

*waves to Balustrade the First* Have you ever noticed that all of our conversations are dead-ends or arguments? ;)

Alpha-Bets to Djaq: How have you come on the great alphabetization project? Gotten past M yet?

(By the way, I love the new name!)

You will be sad to hear that I'm not humming (or singing) Nickel Creek much anymore. :-o Now it's mostly Enya and Tenth Avenue North. And the song from Miss Potter. And...

You finished Persuasion? That's the one Austen book I haven't read yet. I heard it's really good, so I saved it for last. ;) I just finished Northanger Abbey. And I really liked the 95 (I think?) version of Persuasion.

Hey, Fanny!!! The title of your book floated around in my head for the whole month of November. I am intrigued.

Someone made a reference to Pie Town. (Oh, was it me?)

;)) Oh yes, I secretly gloat over mine too. I look at them every morning and every evening before bed and say "What a fine collection I have! I shall never share another book with anyone else and always buy as many as I can, because I NEED books! I'm not happy with the ones I have, I need MORE! MORE! Then all the books in the world shall be MINE! HA HA HA!" *ahem*

That is really the best quote I have ever met. :) I should memorize it, and chant it every morning as I lay in bed, too lazy to get up, looking at my bookshelf. (I have 190 books, now. :D ) But I couldn't really say that, because I want to keep lending out my books, and make everyone in the world read them, because they're so good!

Your 1816 book sounds very... fun! What else have you been reading?

Hey, hey, you're Canadian? *proceeds to be an annoying and loud tourist* You know my family.... In reality, my parents were missionaries in BC for three years, and my older brother was born there.

*waves to cep*

Hemp Not Require Pesticides

Why Hemp?
Using hemp makes our products even more environmentally friendly. The hemp plant is naturally resistant to pests and weeds, so the farmer does not need to dump toxic pesticides and herbicides on the land. Hemp also requires about 1/20th as much water to grow and process as cotton, and the hemp fiber is up to 4 times stronger than cotton. Fabric made from hemp naturally resists bacteria growth and filters harmful UV light. And thanks to new developments in preparing and finishing the fabric, hemp clothing is super soft and comfortable.

We got our real snow today. ( :D if I'm inside. X( if I'm walking around in it for more than 10 minutes.)
Gimp is good. But I don't use it. ;)

Jojo!!!! *hugs* How are you? You really want to know what's been "up"? ;) Well, today we got so much snow that the Governor of the State said we should stay at home. (Just us, personally, of course.) So we didn't have school. And I worked on trying to make a nice blouse out of a not nice cherry-colored silk blouse for the Christmas Ball, with my evil, evil sewing machine.

*curtsies to Mr. Knightley* Really, you need a new name, but I don't know what it should be. Your present name fits you well, but it embarrasses me a little.

Thank you! ;;) *looks at the box of chocolates, and then back up, with wide eyes, while clutching the cellophane-wrapped-by-Bulgy-Bears-box with both hands* (Ssspt! I did eat most of Destined's box, because she's too stuffy and 17ish. I'm not sure that she's noticed yet.)

Hey, there, Vern!

Moves to page 47....

*waves to pogginfan* Hi! How are you? What interesting things are floating around in your head? Is that a weird question or what? I love your avatar. ;) Especially since I've finally seen the movie. ;)

Why was everyone talking about their meals back on pages 45-47? Yesterday, my mom and sister were gone, and we had omelets for lunch. Then, we kind of forgot about supper, so we just found some lentil spaghetti sauce in the fridge, added one (1) can of mixed vegetables, and served it as soup with cheese and sour cream on top. It was good! Also, my brother made candy with chocolate, crunchy peanut butter, and raisins. Yummy! :p

Hey Betsie! I thought you would be interesting to know that I've fallen in love with black tea.

*waves to greenleaf* What's up? Have you been reading anything interesting?

Oof, Miss Rosario. I begin to think that all I do is 43 page catchup posts. ;)

Meany.

Eh... this is not really the image I want. First I'm scary, now I'm mean! :(( :(( :(( :p (Not all those tears are sad, though. Some of them are tears from laughing at the Betsie in the nursing home story. But they wanted to stick together.)

Hey, Auntie Mel! You entertain me. :) But that's what aunts are for, right?
I've never been to a circus. I am never quite sure if I want to go to one or now. You swayed me towards.
You're going to be/were a bridesmaid? :) ( <- was a grin of girlish sympathy. You know what I mean, right?) I like sewing, too! Mostly I make up my own patterns.

And while I don't think I'd call myself a fan, I don't mind listening to Josh Groban.

Me too!

*waves to fauntastic* I actually don't recommend procrastination. It's hard to type with the arthritis I have in my hands. And other things you might want to save to do when you're old, you will end up being unable to do. Want to listen to music? You'll go deaf. Want to read? You'll go blind. Want to talk to people? You'll loose your voice. Or be so scary looking that no one will want to talk to you. And then there's dementia. What was I talking about?

*waves to Edmund P.*

Lady Liln!!! I need to put on my thinking cap and think up a name for you. ;) Ah've missed you.

*waves to CSLN*

Congwajewlashons on your novel! Tell me about it, if you please?

Yes! We have our script of Manalive pretty much ready, now. It's a ten minute speech, so I couldn't include as much amazingness into it as I wanted. We're doing the Innocent-Smith-Shoots-Wilfred-or-James-Emerson-Eames scene. Our first tournament is in one month!

The Innocent Smithish thing I did was paint a picture. In and of itself, it isn't, really, but for me it is, since I've never painted before.

*waves to MissAravis* I'm not feeling original enough at the moment to do anything cleverer than wave, but my wrist is getting stiff.

*waves with both hands to johobbit*

BellaNotFromTwilight!!!! It's good to see you again! I like your avatar!!

Destined! My, I miss you. :D I thought about calling you again, today, and then I did something else. Has Crime and Punishment arrived yet?

My sister just finished carving a pumpking with a Sherlock Holmes silhouette. It's a little bit AMAZING. ;) It's the most daring pumpking project she's ever worked on... I'm proud of her. :p

Oh my. That's wonderful! Can we see a picture?
My favorite musical is Pot o' Gold. ;)

*waves to PELS*

*waves to Riley Tea* I'm so sad we didn't get to word war together, so you could have gotten farther on your novel!

*gives stardf a limp and soggy salute* Nope, I wasn't cut out for the military.

*waves to Valia* I miss you!

*waves to lysander* I like to hear you talk about Austen movies. ;)

Now, in case anyone thinks I need excuses, this is what I've been doing:
November: writing a 55,555 word novel (or rather, typing to the dictation of my soul) and reading/finishing 11 books.
Since November: reading and finishing Murder on the Orient Express, Howl's Moving Castle (and having at least three terrifying dreams since that were based on it), and Pagan Christianity; sewing, goofing around, wasting time, etc, and am now reading End the Fed and Jane Eyre (third or forth time?).
And I watched all of these movies since the last time I saw y'all: Pride and Prejudice 05 (I love it, so there), the brand new Emma (also love it!), Miss Potter (more love), Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (more love... Black and White movies are the best!), and The Scarlet Pimpernel (Sink May!).

And I am still wondering what happened to our chauffer. If I ever find out, I'll tell you. Or if you see him drinking coffee in the bakery, or something, be sure to let me know... He never picked up his last pay cheque.

Good Mortereve, all! How goes it? All is well here--especially since it's so close to the weekend! Can you guys believe it? One year from now and we'll be watching VDT or have already watched it. I can't wait ~x( ! Hopefully it will meet our expectations. Tomorrow I am going to have a new video blog online (I think) about my expectations and worries about VDT.

CATCHUP!

Ooh, EP, flatscreen TVs are really cool! :D
Hmm, my mom said we're going to finish up this week and maybe next week, then we're taking a Christmas break. How about you?
Oh, and that's great that your friend's mom is feeling better! That's good to hear!

Yes, they are! Oh, okay. About the same for me. I have six more days and I'm done!

*waves to Edmund*

*Waves back* Hey, NN95! I haven't spoken to you in weeks. So, how've been :) ?

Don't compare yourself to other people; you did a great job! :D
Ugh, writer's block is not fun! :( Keep going though, I know you can do it! :D

It's hard not to ;) . Well, I got over it! I finished up my last chapter and I'm getting ready to start the next! Hopefully I'll have the book finished by...February 1st :D . When do you have Christmas break?

Betsie! Welcome back to the Town Square after 34 long pages. How have you been? Ah. no wonder you haven't been in the Square--NaNo took control of your life for that past 30 days ;) ;)) .

Have a great day, everyone! And have a great weekend also!

I met Georgie and Skandar AND saw the film in one evening.

Good evening, peoples! Really? Has another few weeks passed since I was here? I think my sense of time, or time in general, is accelerating greatly these days...I blink and it's almost Christmas. I won't complain about that, though!

Jo, me'lady, it's great to see you too! I hope you have some snow now, since I know you love it so! We have about 11 inches. :D *mutters about it being too fluffy for snowmen, snowballs, snow-forts, or even sledding*

Narnia Girl! How are you these days? =] Your vacation sounds fun-FUN! (like, seriously, really fun) Hope you had a great time!

*returns Ruby's hug enthusiastically* Hey there, you! I know, I was terrible and actually forgot about Narniaweb for a while there, with so many other things going on. I know just how you feel, it WAS great to finish NaNo strong, wasn't it? :D <--it made me glow. ^_^ I've been doing well, thanks. I've been working at our friend's candle-store at the mall quite a bit lately, which is terribly fun, especially as it gets closer to Christmas. Tomorrow's my last day of babysitting too, which makes me kind of relieved. And how are you?? Do you get a long Christmas-break from school?

Edmund P!! (you have a VERY cool new avatar!!) Positively great to see you again! "It" (school, jobs, church, music, Christmas-prep, household stuff, etc ;) ) is all going very well. How goes it for you??

*prods Fanny gently with a nudge to the ribs...HUG* How are you, Fanny? =]

@Winter, You're a dear with your posts! They're purely fine posts to read!! Am I right to presume that you're doing fine these days? BTW, Winter and Ruby, I got COAL and SWITCHES last year for Christmas, and it wasn't so terrible. ;) No really, I did. Our unofficially adopted parents sent us coal and switches since apparently we were bad...but I don't know what we did!

*Ti, Benjamin, Stargazer, PeterPevensie, and Nellie* :-h

Wow, this is a really amazing song by Alexander Rybak. It's really sad too. Speaking of sadness, I'm bummed today because Lissa's gone all day, working at the mall today. We hate being apart. Also speaking of sad, have any of you read "Dear John"?? My friend just finished it and was telling me how it ended, which was very tragic indeed. I hope to read it soon!

Djaq, my dear! Long time no see, eh? ;) Thank you so much for praying for my brother. He and his team returned from their trip safely on Sunday night. Just in time before airports closed due to snow, too! #:-s Woohoo on your Dad's new wheels! LOL, I love pickups...

malkah, Your avatar is bee-u-tiful! I like the simplicity of it. And thanks, yes, our trip is shaping up to be packed full of fun plans. How's everything going for you, wherever you find yourself? =) (P.S. Your avatar looks just like my best friend...wow, the resemblance is scaring me!)

greenleaf!! Hey, I've really missed discussing piano-playing with you! (like, the playing at music stores etc) How're things going for you?? Yes, college is MUCH more frightening than a little jaunt over a few states...

*cordially introduces herself to Liberty Hoffman* Greetings, new friend!

Nutty...thanks, it was good to stop by! ;] For a while, now, however, I'll be sliding by, since it's all icy outside. Howth life, for my fellow kindergartner?

PoN, I am genuinely delighted to see you again! (obviously, I was missing you, so I imitated your font colour)

Cor, nice long post there!

Betsie!!! *sends quite ginormous hugs your way* Yes? Really? Wow, no way. Hmm, how fortunate for you. Uh-huh? A personal instruction from the Gov'neh? *gasp* YOU are under the impression the sewing machines are evil TOO? Well, dear, I am a KINDRED spirit if ever you had one! I think they are malicious beings...so how did the blouse turn out? A Christmas Ball? "When I get older, I'm going to wear my hair just like that. (insert dreamy sigh) She's only 17, and I think she looks ridiculous. I'm going to wait until I'm 18." ;) We're going to a New Year's Ball!!!!!

Later, mine friends, will I catch thee. Must be off!

~Jojo~

Edit hours later: LOL, please tell me y'all can't watch this without rolling on the floor laughing!! I just split my side!!! =)) =)) =)) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gklbB7TYoK4&feature=player_embedded#
