I love Christmas! There are so many pretty lights! I bought Christmas cakes yesterday! In the shape of Christmas trees with sprinkles! I love the fact Jesus came to save us! I love getting presents! Especially, since I am kind of poor, so I enjoy free stuff when I can.

*runs into the Square* It's snowing! It's our first snow of the year!!
I had just gotten on the computer this morning when my little brother walked into the room, glanced out the window, and squealed, "It's snowing!" We don't usually get snow till after Christmas...so this is exciting.

*waves to Benjamin*
Djaq, lol, yeah, National Treasure is a great movie. I love Riley! He's so funny! Abigail Chase is one of my favorite characters too.
Yeah, doing songs by ear is fun! I'm not very good at it though, so my piano teacher helps me a lot...
Eusy, those Christmas tree cakes sound yummy! I love seeing all the Christmas lights outside too!
The snow's beginning to stick to the yard...it's snowing fairly hard too...yay!!

Greetings, everyone! I'm having a very interesting and quiet weekend alone at the house with my sister, JMoon. The rest of our family is out of town, so it's just us at home. Turns out our dance teacher couldn't make it yesterday due to a feis practice in the city, so my sister and I had to teach lessons yesterday from 330 PM. I actually didn't help my sister teach all the classes, because she already had another helper there. But oh my goodness!! We were dead by the end of classes! Dance practice + a cold = no fun.
Well, we didn't have fun dancing all evening (those beginner dancers are not...shall we say, the nicest kids), but we did have fun going to Wal-Mart at 8:00 at night to buy groceries for dinner and the rest of the weekend.
And you know what I've discovered? My sister hates sleeping in a room by herself. Thursday night she was practically begging me to sleep in her room with her (I don't usually, my other sister does ). It was pretty funny.
Good news! My cold is getting slightly better! And I actually got some sleep over the last two nights. Not so good news: I'm really sore from yesterday. Missing an entire week of practice is not so good.
Well, that's all for now! I hope you all are having a lovely day!! Goodbye for now and God bless!!

How fare ye all, Onions and 'Shroom, on this lovely Saturday?
Wow, the Square really picked up all of a sudden!
Its going good a little too cold for my liking
if its going to be cold then there needs to be snow
.. And how are things with you?
![]()
Glad things are going well! I agree; cold and snowy is much better than just cold and...brown.
Hope you get some snow soon!
Things are going quite well for me, thanks!
Quite well, thank you!
Good! Anything exciting happening for you lately?
Kinda disappointed I haven't gotten a PM in about three weeks.
*hides*
I know, right? Wouldn't it be nice if the whole world could shift its schedule for us night owls?
![]()
I don't see why not! It makes no logical sense to be up early in the morning anyway.
Again? Ok, *waves back*
Oops, I didn't notice I'd done that! This is what happens when you work on a post over several days.
Unfortunately, not yet. I will hopefully get it soon though.
Ah, okay. I couldn't remember what you'd said regarding that before.
As for favorites, "Remember When It Rained" is probably my favorite too! It's so lovely! I love the piano in it and I've really been wanting the music for it.
Then, there is (in no particular order) "Never Let Go", "Don't Give Up (You Are Loved)", "Si Volvieras A Mi", "All'improvviso Amore", "Oceano" and some others that I can't think of.
I'm not sure if it's what he was intending, but "Remember When It Rained" has been a very meaningful song spiritually for me, too. I'd love to get the sheet music; especially since it doesn't look that hard to learn.
Oh, I forgot about "Oceano" and "Si Volvieras A Mi"! They're beautiful!
(Rather off-topic, but I always find it amazing how much emotion and meaning can be still communicated through a song, even when you don't understand a word of the language.
)
Have you heard any of Travis Cottrell's music? He's sort of a Christian Josh Groban.
I'm glad everything's going well! Things are busy here, but a lot of our activities are over for the year, which is a nice feeling.
Hi Miss Rosa! I'm sorry school has been tiring; hope that gets better for you!
*waves to Jojo* The Tennessee trip sounds like so much fun!
I'm afraid I'm addicted to counting words...I have used 221 words in this post so far!
*has been doing the same thing* Even on thank-you notes...
*sends a big hello and a wave back to Jo*
My younger brother (Bravo) has a super amazing voice, but he wants to go into the air force!
Hehe. He might change his mind!
My family's the same way; both of my younger siblings are really talented musically (probably moreso than I am) but neither of them has any interest in it.
She hasn't taught music lessons in ages and I can tell she's enjoying getting back into them.
That's great!
Haha!
Rubaniriel!!! I love it!! I'll have to have a character in my story with the name Rubaniriel...
Haha, I'm glad you like it!! It's just easier than talking to all three of you.
Oh! I love everything about Christmas!
But I would have to say that I especially enjoy decorating the house for Christmas! That is always an adventure at our house! Hanging up the stockings and the lights and all the wreaths and putting up the candles while blaring Christmas music on the stereo in the Living Room--yep, that would definitely have to be one of my all-time parts of the Christmas season...And I love visiting relatives and seeing all my cousins for Christmas. Sledding and snowball fights are especially fun with extended family.
How about you? What's your favorite part(s) of the Christmas Season?
Everything you listed, for starters! I always love decorating our house, baking lots of cookies, and driving around to look at Christmas lights.
And Christmas music!
And watching someone's face light up as they open the gift you gave them is something I look forward to all month.
I think overall I just love the feeling of Christmas; how everything, even the normal daily routine, is somehow more special than during the rest of the year.
I can understand how crazy college prep can get.
Two of my sisters are already in college and then there's my other sister who has two more years before she's off to college and she's ALREADY stressing about it. And then there's me whose like "college? who needs to worry about college?" I'm sure my time for college prep stress will come soon enough.
You've definitely had experience with it, then. Yup, it will come soon enough, and it's already a stressful enough season when you come to it--there's no good in starting the stressing earlier than needed.
A lot of the stress is due to the fact that, because of both where I live and what I'd like to study, my college options are just...requiring a lot of work. It's all worth it, of course, and I know that God'll give me the grace to handle it, but it's just rather frustrating right now. I'm looking forward to having it all done!
I've been doing pretty well, aside from a cold and a dreaded research paper that I have to write within a week's worth of time.
How's your cold coming? I hope you keep feeling better! And I'll be praying that your research paper goes well!
Dance is going really well. Sad thing is, though, I may have to quit within a few months. Expenses for dance have gone way up in the last year what with the competition and all. But I don't want to quit!!
Yeah. So, I guess you can be praying that I don't have to quit. And if I do have to quite, you can pray that I take it well.
I'm sorry you might have to quit! I'll definitely be praying that works out for your family and you can keep doing it.
@ Malkah. From the films I've seen, yes. He had a great way of building suspense in every scene while also taking advantage of scenery and camera tricks.
I've only seen one Hitchcock, but from what I've seen, I agree. The other thing I like is how his plots, unlike a lot of current films, don't depend on special effects or camera tricks or action scenes to bolster up the story.
So many times you either get overly biased reviews or simply people saying "this CD is awesome!" or "this sounds like so-and-so is just a bunch of noise".
![]()
And a track-by-track breakdown is what really decides for me whether I want to buy a score or not, instead of a blanket statement about the CD as a whole. For example, I heard over and over again that the PC soundtrack was just a rehashing of LWW (which it is in some ways) but as far as the individual pieces go, I really enjoy it.
Oh, neat! The church that I attend Youth Group at is doing that on Saturday. I was going to go, but we were going to be getting back pretty darn late (1:00am).
Oh, that's too bad! I understand, though; it'd be really hard to come back that late at night.
So, what have you been up to
?
Well, I did NaNo, although I didn't finish my novel, so I'm still working on that. And I'm excited to be getting ready for Christmas!
How about you?
When I first re-read what I typed above I nearly thought I was talking about the 95 Elizabeth from P&P, which, er, gave me a huge shock. But thankfully, I realized once more we were talking about Persuasion.
![]()
![]()
Haha, that would be...interesting! Austen does reuse a lot of character names.
So! What's new with you? How is your life going?
Hmm, not much! I'm enjoying having time to read and such again after NaNo. And I'm excited for Christmas and second semester! How about you? How's everything going?
I will pursue my novel, but really only to the point of editing before allowing my friends to read it, not publishing it, or anything.
What is your novel about?
*waves to Nellie of Narnia* Hello! It's lovely to meet you! I'm malkah or Mal, if you like.
Malkah, yes I am training to be a firefighter. While you are a Volunteer you are constantly training.
So what's the difference between a Volunteer and a professional (?) firefighter?
starkat, that's great you're getting snow! This winter seems to be unusually snowy for a lot of places...
PELS, it's good to see you! And happy birthday to your sister!
Hi Aravanna! *waves* I don't think we've met. I'm malkah or Mal, whichever you prefer.
And I do not think that the barn is heated, so it will be a really cold night!
Oh my...hope you bundled up! That does sound like fun, though, other than the cold.
How did it go?
*can't stop laughing at the Ruby-Winter post* I think that's the funniest one yet!
NG, I'm glad your vacation was fun! It sounds like a great time!
Well, my mom's parents usually come down and visit us for the day on Christmas Eve. Then on Christmas Day, it's usually just our family at our house, and we open gifts, etc. On the day after Christmas, everyone on my dad's side of the family gets together. So we'll have a very busy but fun Christmas.
What about you, what does your family like to do for Christmas?
Yeah, "I'll be Home for Christmas" is kinda tricky. Not as hard as other pieces I've done though...
That's going to be fun! It's really nice that your family all lives close enough to get together for Christmas. Well, my grandmother usually drives up on Christmas Eve and spends the night, and then we're at home on Christmas Day. Then we get together with my aunt and cousin (I don't have a lot of extended family) sometime between Christmas and New Year's. So it's pretty quiet, but a lot of fun.
Are you doing a slower or more jazzy version of "I'll Be Home For Christmas"?
Eusy, I love those kind of Christmas tree cakes!
*cheers for NG's snow* Yay! That's exciting!
Ruby, that sounds like fun with just you and Moon over the weekend!
We did have fun going to Wal-Mart at 8:00 at night to buy groceries for dinner and the rest of the weekend.
Wal-Mart at night? That's always interesting...

lol. How have you been, lately?
I'm doing great, Winter.
Been quite busy lately, as we were on vacation recently, and getting ready for Christmas and everything. Christmas is only three weeks from today.
That's good. Is it? Wow. Are you going to count down the days?
Ruby and Winter: LOL! I think that was one of your funniest posts ever! I was cracking up!

Ruby/Winter: Oh Can you die from laughing? if you could I would be dead right now! I love your skits! Please do continue soon
I don't think so, but you might be able to. We hope to continue soon.
That was definitely my favorite Ruby/Winter post to date!
Very entertaining!
I get a teddy bear??Aww, thank you sooo much! He's adorable! What should I name him? I'll have to come up with a good one. . .
Thanks! It was entertaining to write!
I don't know. What color is he? I didn't see 'cause I was driving.
*can't stop laughing at the Ruby-Winter post*
I think that's the funniest one yet!

lol, we had trouble stopping laughing, too...Especially with some of those presents. Although I have feeling I need to watch out for some of those guys, who won't appreciate it.

Hmmm. I think my narrator needs a vacation. I didn't fall into the fountain this time.
*Unbeknownst to Lady Amalthea, a miniature tornado was hovering over Town Square. She suddenly finds herself lifted five feet into the air and dropped into the Town Square fountain with an appropriate and befitting splash*
Thanks. I've missed that... really. Well, now I know what to do whilst Prince Cor and Vern are out tonight - go home, dry off, and have some hot chocolate! Oh yeah, and check the Archenland classifieds for a new narrator while sipping the hot chocolate....

*enters the Square, after building a miniature snowman in her backyard* Mortereve all! Anyway, yesterday we got four or five inches of wet snow, which meant that my sibs and I went outside for a while. I built a miniature snowman in our yard. There's still lots of snow this morning...though it'll probably begin to melt soon.
Unfortunately, I also have a cold. I think I got it from my mom...she didn't feel too well sometime during vacation, and now she has a cold as well.
Ketchup:

Colds are no fun...I have one, too, now.
Well, that's nice that you'll be able to see some of your family for Christmas, malkah.

I'm doing a slower version of "I'll Be Home for Christmas."

Mortereve, all! Well, there was a slight powder of snow on the ground yesterday (Thursday), and today it came in full force. Surprisingly, most people around here are disappointed. I'm delighted, though.
I trust you all have been doing well? This school year is going by exceptionally fast, it seems. Can you believe it's already December? Heh. All the Christmas decorations are up in town, snow is finally falling, and... yes, everything is perfect. *happy sigh*
Last night, while my mom was at a meeting, Dad and I went and bought a Christmas tree, and also decorated the house to surprise her.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and it was it was great having a break (short though it was) from school. I watched quite a few movies over the weekend that... err... I hadn't seen yet: Shrek I and II, Up, The Russians are Coming (an old comedy), and National Treasure. It was my first time seeing all of those, believe it or not.
Shrek and Up were all right... not outstanding, but I didn't dislike them. The Russians are Coming was great for the laughs, and I especially enjoyed National Treasure.
Annnd.... I finally have a new avatar (for Christmas, I might add). Surprise, surprise.
Catching--page 61 to 69:
I totally used toilet bowl cleaner instead of laundry detergent when I was washing my clothes and SHEETS at the honors center this evening!
That sounds like my friend's dad. He coated the desert he was making with garlic powder instead of sugar... And then, during a camping trip, he sprayed a frying pan with bug spray instead of oil. You can imagine what those pancakes tasted like...
Miss Rose, I'm not very good at science either.
Yeah, it was fun seeing the bear! We'd seen it several other times in the past few months.
Actually, I've improved a lot during the past month. I checked my grade and it went up to a 95% average, so I'm happy.
Our family travels quite often, and we go mainly to national parks. So... we've seen quite a bit of wildlife. Have you ever visited Yellowstone, Yosemite, Arches, or... any of the other national parks? If not, you should! They are really neat places, and we've seen wolves, black bears, grizzlies, moose, loons, and many other creatures. The two famous places I'd still really like to visit are the Grand Canyon and Niagara Falls.
Miss Rosario, maybe you just need a short break from the violin? A little bit of time to stop and consider where you'd like to progress to? It sounds like it's been something you enjoy. And I think that if you like the story Pride & Prejudice it's definitely worth it to sit down and watch the BBC version.
That was my thought as well, but my parents are strongly pressuring me to continue lessons. *shrug* I'm not sure what the best thing to do is right now, but I think I'll keep at it for a little longer. I know I'll be happy I did later.
Oh, I love the story. I suppose I'll just have to squeeze in some time during my Christmas break to watch it!
Five or six days for the catch up post, Rose? Whoa-ness! I admire your patience!
Well, it wasn't as bad as it sounds. I didn't have enough time to type a whole post in one day, so I just spread it out between five. This one hopefully won't take so long, though, because it's the weekend.
No-bake cookies, GeorgieXOXOsmile? Wow, I haven't heard of that before. How does it work?
I like the old NW better
Although I really do like the new NarniaWeb website, the old one will always be missed.
Actually, neither Alaska nor the North Pole. I'm a bit uncomfortable with posting my location. If you're really interested, I'd be happy to PM you, but either way is fine.
Oh, that's absolutely fine... I understand. And you pretty much answered my question anyway ("neither Alaska nor the North Pole").
Kutless is one of my favorite bands. I love how worshipful and thought-provoking many of their songs are. What are some of your favorites by them?
Ah, I'm glad to hear. I like it for the same reasons. Unfortunately, I really don't remember the names of my favorites songs...
I'll try to get back to you on that, though.
I know. And they're all working now. But we have 10 people. So that's 2.5 people to a computer.
Hm, well I guess that sounds a little better. We only have one computer for a four-person family (well, I guess technically three since PR doesn't live with us anymore....).
I agree. You wouldn't believe how many years I've wanted a dog. *sigh*
So, have you started violin lessons yet? If so, how are things going?
I also hate dentist appointments.
Heh, I would have to agree with you on that.
Yes, well, we're a computer family.
![]()
I'm not surprised by that. I've always thought you to be a "computer guy"... or something of that sort.
Eek, out of everything you said to me, that's all I have to respond to? Uh, anyway, how have you been?
No worries. I ramble way too much. I've been doing well, thanks. Yourself?
*waves to littlegriz* Hey! How are you?
*waves to NaiadWaker* Hey! It's good to see you around the Town Square! Sorry for the belated greeting, but I'm Miss Rosario--more well-known as Miss R, Rosa, or Rose. *extends hand in greetings* It's great to meet you! Do you have any nicknames you'd prefer me to call you?
*chuckles at NaiadWaker's signature* "SqeazelSqazzleBubbleSnoo!" Hm.
Aww, she's sooo cute!
"Why thank you, Miss Djaq... how nice of you to say so!" Momo curls up in Djaq's lap, purring contentedly.
Well, it looks as if you've found yourself a new friend. I'm wondering what will happen when she meets Vern.... *nervous cough*
It's great to see you here again!
Thank you! You're so sweet.
I hope that you are able to get them finished up soon. I'll be praying for you! School has been pretty good for me.
Thanks, once again!. That really means a lot. Glad school's been going well for you, too!
Wow, Edmund P. I'll certainly keep your friend's mom in my prayers. My dad had some strange lumps show up on his feet/ankles, and also in his lungs. The doctors aren't 100% sure what it is, but it probably won't be life-threatening.
*waves to Earel Alquawen*
Mortereve all! I trust everyone is doing well? Sorry for disappearing for about a week..... again. It's become kind of a hobby with me as of late it seems.
I know how that goes... I seem to be disappearing for about a month at a time.
Oh, that's great that you have your own blog! I'll check it out a little later today.
@ Rose. *waves and bows to the young lady and her companion* Nice to see you around again, Rose! *glances at his posts as of late* Eh, this is what I get for popping in once a week.....
*feels rather important* Thank you! Heh, this is what I get after popping in after a month...
*thanks Rose profusely for quoting what he said so many pages ago.*
Oh, no problem at all. As you can see, I'm doing it again in this post.
Actually, math is going fairly well for me as well. I have one test to catch up on, but as soon as that's out of the way I should have a good grade.

I'm glad to hear it! How is life going for you? I hope you are all caught up and such! Did you have any ill side effects after you got the flu shot?
Thanks! Thankfully she is doing much better and is back to her normal self, and the rest of us haven't got it either. *cheers*
I'm doing all right, I suppose. The weekend has definitely cheered me up! I'm finishing up some projects and taking several tests this week, so.. I'll be busy. *sigh* No, I didn't have any ill side effects from the flu vaccine. And fortunately, I was able to receive the nose spray. (I'm not too fond of shots.)
Glad your family is all well now!
Me either. For me it seems a lot more special with close friends and family instead of a bunch of people you know but don't really know as well as family and close friends.
*nods* Agreed.
Wow... a joint post from flambeau and Djaq also? My, my... it seems that Ruby and Winter have begun a tradition.
It sounds like you two had a very fun vacation!
*likes Mel's graphics very much* They have a beautiful and almost "elegant" look to them. Lovely! Did you make them?

Are the Alex Rider books good?Congratulations on 1 year!! It will be one year for me in January.......
They're amazing You know how in most book series by the 6th or 7th book they get more boring and repetitive? Well, with Alex Rider they get more interesting and more original with every book. The books are about a fourteen year old boy named Alex Rider who's father and uncle were spies (his father died when he was a few years old, his uncle dies in the first book) and he gets almost blackmailed into "working" for MI6 (England's version of the CIA) You should really look into them, the first one is "Stormbreaker".
Thanks! I was going to try and get 1000 posts the same day as my anniversary, but that didn't come close to happening Happy ten month and one day anniversary!
Sorry, I just had to do that
Ah good, thanks!
I shall have to check them out then!

Did all go well? I hope so! Life here has been pretty good, seemingly more busier than usual, but that's alright.
It's been that good sort of busy.

I've never been to a football game, but everything on your list can also be applied to baseball Stardf, especially the prices of food inside the stadium Glad you had a good time!
Lor: About the same--boring as usual

Yep With Christmas coming life should get a whole lot more interesting though! Or at least I hope
*waves to greenleaf* How's everything going for you?
Happy (one day late) 1-year anniversary, greenleaf!
Pretty good, thanks! And for you? Is everything going good?
Thanks!
It was pretty fun!
How have you been? I haven't talked to you in awhile.
Congratulations on your one-year anniversary!![]()
I've been doing pretty well, thanks! And you? Conga-rats on winning NaNoWriMo!! That's great!
Thanks!!
*waves to MissRosario*! Great to see you! I hope everything's going well, good luck with school!
*waves to Jojo*!! Welcome back, and conga-rats on NaNoWriMo!!That's great! Tennessee?! That sounds like lots of fun! Oh, and good luck looking for colleges, even though it doesn't sound quite as fun as Tennesee
*waves to Jo* Great to see you again!
@ GreenLeaf. I know what you mean about Liam Neeson. It took me awhile to get used to him as anything but the voice of Aslan.
Really? Well, glad you finally found it. Er, that I said it for you.... or never mind.
The music fit the movie, but I felt that there were some parts where different music would have worked better for the scene. *shrug* Also, the score (in movie) sounds like it went through some Post-Production tinkering to me.
Yep, you're weird that way.
I think what really made TDK so disturbing for me was the combined feeling you get from the Joker plus the way Two-Face looks with the half skeleton/burned face.
I'll just stick with Begins until the third movie comes out.
Mmmhmm, Katie Holmes (now married to Tom Cruise) played Rachel in Begins while Maggie Gyllenhaal played the character in TDK.
![]()
Me too, especially since that was the first thing I really knew him from
Lol, I know what you mean I'll have to watch it again and pay more attention to that...actually (again making an Iron Man connection) that's exactly how I felt about Iron Man
About the music not really fitting scenes. Aw, I really hate it when that happens. That's one thing that really bugged me about the LWW EE (and one thing I loved about the LotR EE, the music flowed perfectly, IMHO)
Yeah, Two-Face was pretty creepy...it was hard for me to watch the first half of the scenes he was in. It was especially weird how (at least for me) you couldn't really see him as a whole, you either watched the normal side of his face or the burnt side of his face. It was just...weird. I am excited for a third movie though, I've been impressed with the first two so I'll definitely be seeing the third!
Oh, ok, thanks Why didn't the first actress come back though?
*waves to Nellie of Narnia* Nice to meet you!
Congrats Greenleaf on your one year anniversary!
Thanks!!
*waves to Peterpevensie and Earel Alquawen* Good to see you both! How are you?
*waves to anyone I missed* Sorry!

I like the old NW better
Although I really do like the new NarniaWeb website, the old one will always be missed.

Yeah it will be missed.... I,m getting used to the new one now........
how have you been? Have not talked to you for a long time!
Thats true I did not think about it only being 1 or 2 years.....
Are the Alex Rider books good?
Congratulations on 1 year!! It will be one year for me in January.......They're amazing
You know how in most book series by the 6th or 7th book they get more boring and repetitive? Well, with Alex Rider they get more interesting and more original with every book. The books are about a fourteen year old boy named Alex Rider who's father and uncle were spies (his father died when he was a few years old, his uncle dies in the first book) and he gets almost blackmailed into "working" for MI6 (England's version of the CIA) You should really look into them, the first one is "Stormbreaker".
Thanks! I was going to try and get 1000 posts the same day as my anniversary, but that didn't come close to happening
Happy ten month and one day anniversary!
Sorry, I just had to do that

Thanks! Well I will get maybe even 1700 before my one year
Hows Skillet? I have heard about them but have not listened to them yet...
*Exits square singing the way you look tonight by Fred Astaire* I have really enjoyed watching the Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movies!

I wasn't going to type anything, but since Miss Rose mentioned me, I figured I should at least let everyone know that I am in fact alive and well.
Good mortereve to all the fair Dittopians who are about, who were about, and who will be about on this fine, cold Sunday afternoon!!
We recieved our first snow of the year early Saturday morning, and it was beautiful. It fell at the perfect time as well. The city our church is in had their Christmas parade Saturday afternoon, and it was cold enough that much of the snow lasted until then. More good news, our float won first place for the second year in a row!:D
Speaking of college, I've applied to two and am awaiting news. Hopefully it will be good news.
Thanksgiving was fantastic. Got to see Stwin for a whole week.
Also, I shot a doe the day after, and that was just amazing.
So how are ya'll doing this fine mortereve?
They did drugs and they're all dead.

Hm, Mel, I’ve never heard of the name “Mayaserena” before, but rather like it. How is it pronounced?
Whoa. Could it be? Why yes! It is! Queen Susan is here once more!
Why, hello! *waves*
Ruby and Winter... you two are the best. *applauds* Looking forward to the next---*ahem*--"show".
It's so good to hear that your friend's mother is doing a little better, Edmund P. She's still in my prayers.
Jon Foreman found this video and liked it enough to post it to their twitter... that's why so many people were watching it.
Wow... I'd freak out, too! *shaky laugh* Congratulations! That's great!
People come. People go. Thats Ditto Town.
Very true. I can't help missing those from the past, though.
My brother has an incredible ego problem.

That's... wonderful. Most of the guys from my school have that problem also. Ick.
Oh, yes. Please post pictures!
*waves to Lady L* (Or perhaps it should be "Lady-Lurker"...) Anyhow, it's good to see several posts of yours! Glad to hear you're still alive!
Yes, NN95, I am an early bird. I love getting up early, because no one else in our family is up then, and the house is nice and quiet and I can sit in my bed and read.
I know how that is. Everything is so still and peaceful in the morning. I used to get up early before I started school, but now try to get in as much sleep as possible. Ah well.
*sits by the fire and tries to get warm* I have to say that I am pitiful when it comes to the cold. We don't usually get anything exciting in the way of weather though. If we did I might get outside and enjoy it.
*whispers* You need to come up north and experience real snow.
We've been quoting National Treasure...
And now I finally know what you're talking about.
I just get Thanksgiving day and the day after off. But I do get quite a long Christmas break.
Oh, that reminds me. Apparently this is unusual, but my school has an eleven day Christmas break this year... less than two weeks. I guess we started later than usual, but still! That's pathetic.
Aww, Ti'ana, your nephew's so adorable.
Oh! Happy belated first NarniaWeb anniversary to Greenleaf!
I WON NANOWRIMO!!! I am DONE!!!
Congrats! *cheers* That must be a relief.
Today is my 1 year anniversary on NarniaWeb!
Aww, congrats! I hope you stick around for many more.
*skimming.... skimming....*
*rather wants to do a double post with someone now*
I was thinking the same thing.
It's lovely to see you as well, Louise the Second.
Miss Rosario!! Aw, stop complaining about no snow! Where I live, we're lucky to get a little ice in January...and that's it. How have you been?
Well, we have it now! I've been doing great, thanks, and you?
@ Rose. Tis grand to see you around!!

Glad school is going well for you and do try to stop by again before another month goes by.

Aw, thank you! I really will... err... try to continue to stay around this time.
Ha! The same here. It's in the 50s right now. Snow? I think not.
Well, I was wrong. It snowed. And snowed. And... snowed.
Ara! 'Tis good to see you. How have you been?
Rosa!!! Lovely to see you here! I'm looking forward to your catch-up post! Yours are always sooo huge!
Thank you! I've missed you all. Heh, I actually split it into two posts this time, because I didn't want to bore everyone.
Thanks for the prayers.
Ruby and Winter: That was absolutely the best show yet. Great job! I laughed so hard. Nick's pink diary and Edmund P's barbies? My oh my.

Hehe. Definitely looking forward to the continued story!
Got to see National Treasure for the first time back on Monday. I loved it and I've watched it twice since then.
Really? I watched it on last week as well... for the first time. I absolutely loved it, and have watched it about three more times since.
Powell: "How did a bunch of guys build all of this?"
Ben: "The same way they built the pyramids--and the Great Wall of China."
Riley: "Yeah... the aliens helped them."
Riley: "It's a blueish green man... with a strange looking goatee. I'm guessing that's significant!" *hugs statue*
Hehe. I love Riley.
Sounds like you had a fantastic vacation!
Hello to you as well, malkah! How is life?
*waves to Ben* Hey! I've been doing pretty well... what about you? Yes, it has been awhile since we've talked. I keep... disappearing. *has to stop... has to stop... has to stop...*
I read about your unicycle skills earlier! Wow, I'm impressed. How long did it take you to learn how to ride it?
I wasn't going to type anything, but since Miss Rose mentioned me, I figured I should at least let everyone know that I am in fact alive and well.
Whoa. Perhaps I should do that more often! Congrats on winning first place for your Christmas parade float (for the second year in a row, I might add)! And, welcome back.
Well, I guess that's all for now. Fifteen or so pages were caught up on tonight. I have school and a violin lesson tomorrow, so I should head out. Mortereve, all!
P.S.
For those of you who might be interested, here is a youtube video of the violin piece I've been learning (I'm not playing it, and I don't play anywhere near that well... just so you know).

*wanders in* Even though I've been reading the pages between here and my last post, I don't remember anything I desperately wanted to respond to from those pages.
Hullo, everyone! Yay for those who have snow. We got a light dusting a few days ago. No real accumulation, however.
You can imagine what those pancakes tasted like...
![]()
You, ah, actually ate them?
*likes Mel's graphics very much*
Why, thank you! Betsie found the pictures. There is a character in her NaNo novel named Auntie Mel, and the pictures are supposed to represent Auntie Mel's house. I cropped them to size.
I'm sure the violin situation will turn out well in the end. And I've always pronounced Mayaserena the way I think it sounds. Maya-serene-ah.
I wonder if any of the surrounding towns has a Chirstmas parade. It sounds like something that would be fun to see. Or participate in. Congratulations, kk, on winning the float contest. What sort of float was it?
I wonder if a display like this might show up in Ditto Town... [/random]
