Got to meet Jojo and Lissa along with their family the middle of last month. We all went to the Creation Museum together as well as stayed in the same guest house. That was a lot of fun!
I saw the pictures on Facebook. That road trip looked like it was so much fun! I wish I could have come although I’ve already had my NarniaWebber moot for the summer. Also, money.
And I heard about Peter S. Beagle from Jo. I’m glad your mom got to hear him. I know she’s a big fan! (She actually sent me a very impressive short story of his by email so at some point I want to get around to reading The Last Unicorn.) BTW, tell your mom I said hi! I haven’t heard from her in a while and I STILL haven’t made it through her novel. It’s not every that long.
Anyways, have fun with school. Any subjects you’re looking forward to?
Uh, what are the evil hamsters?
LOL, it has to do with the ancient fight between Dittos and Originality. If you highlighted the old laughing smilies on Narniaweb, they sort of looked like evil hamsters chattering their teeth. They were supposed to work for the side of Originality. /random
It isn't centered for me. . .
I really should head to bed soon. Sweet dreams and God bless all!
Weird, maybe I’m the only one that can see it. (Everyone’s alignment after mine is centred as well from what I can see.) Curiouser and curiouser.
Hello and goodbye Ruby!
It’s good to see you again as well Jo! I thought you didn’t get on much anymore!
So good to see you both here! Wish I could chat more, but this white, fluffy thing on my bed insists on getting louder and louder and ... LOUDER!
Goodness, wouldn’t all the noise make it hard to sleep?
Mortereve all!!!!!
*waves to Narnia Girl*
I like was getting ready to kick the ball hard and i kicked someones leg and my foot still hurts over 24 hours later.
How do you think their leg feels?
Dinner will be fabulous (even if I do say so myself)
Let me guess, you're going to make it, right? Can't imagine how I knew.
They had shine pads on and didn't jump around as much as i did.
I pained my nails all different colors today. Each one is different some have the same background but different colour dots. It is for some photography assignment i have to do.
Mortereve all!
Ooh, swimming sounds like fun, Ti.
*waves back to NN95*
Djaq, that's fabulous!!! I bet you're thrilled! How exciting.
LL, you miss the old emoticons? I miss them a bit too but I LOVE the new ones!
Lol. Yeah the beginning of school is kinda fun, but then it gets tiring after a while, QS. You're welcome!
The new forum was a shock when I first saw it, pon, but I began to like it right away. I love the new smilies and the chatroom.
Well, we haven't seen the bear around since the night when it, or whatever it was, smashed our birdfeeder, FF. Wow! One in your front yard? Good thing you were inside the house...
TGW I'd love to see a pic of your bday cake.
Djaq, I also love rollercoasters. They're so much fun.
johobbit! Hi! Lol, that drooling smiley is so funny.
Yesterday we went to our favorite pizza place and then my dad took us out for icecream. I also rode my bike outside with my little brother. Other than that, it was a pretty uneventful but fun day.
I'm too lazy to color my post and try to find a font color that matches my avatar and sig. Oh well.

Good mortereve, all! How is everyone this great Sunday afternoon?! I'm doing pretty well, for the most part. I'm still feeling a little ill though .
CATCHUP!
Yeah, so do I. In fact, I downloaded some before the forum switch, because I'm gonna miss them so much.
Man, I wish I would have thought of that!
I think that's the thing I'm going to have the most trouble getting used to.
Yes, it will be hard to get used to. Although, I didn't start using the WYSIWYG (that is the correct name for it, right?) Post Editor until a few weeks ago. It made it so easy! I'm going to miss it
Neat! I am the youngest of six kids.
That's cool! I'm the youngest of five!
Lol, I was kidding of course. I'm just confusing you now
Oh, I see! Tsk, tsk... How have you been? And I do bahlieve that you went to the TAN concert today! How was it?!
Thank you! It's good to be back!
How are you doing? Done anymore youtube videos lately?
I'm doing pretty good. A little sick. Well, I did one about two weeks ago. I might have another one up this Tuesday if all goes well. So how have you been lately?
Edmund P: Ouch- I hope you feel much better soon!
Yeah, I hope so too .
That's sad that you most likely won't be able to do that thing you really wanted to- quite disappointing since you've wanted to do it all summer.
Well...I actually got to do it !!! It was a lot of fun . Though, looking back on it...I probably shouldn't have gone...I might have been feeling better right now if I wouldn't have gone.
How have you been, FF?
*Waves to Edisk* Hi, Edisk! How are you?
Friendship is such a gift...
Yes, it really is...
EP, I love the new NarniaWeb. Yeah, the quote boxs are cool! I also adore the new smilies.
Yes, the new smilies are pretty cool! Check these out:
Congrats on the long post, Ed P! 😉
Well, it wasn't that long of a post... How have you been?
So do I. But at least some of them are ok, like this little guy: He's cute!
Haha, I guess some of these new emoticons are okay...
*Waves to Ruby*
*Waves to Johobbit*
Have a great Sunday, everyone!
I met Georgie and Skandar AND saw the film in one evening.
Mortereve, all!
Ruby, that's wonderful about the shoes and dress!
Adjusting okay to the new forum? And it does take adjusting to, but it's good!
I'm getting more used to it each day. I think I've figured the "big" things out, for the most part.
And lookee, I have a Drooling smiley
Oh, oh, dear! Must ask Tirian to remove that. . .
Lady_Liln and Ruby! So good to see you both here! Wish I could chat more, but this white, fluffy thing on my bed insists on getting louder and louder and ... LOUDER! to you both!
I thought your pillow was getting better with it's manners. . .
to you too!
LOL, it has to do with the ancient fight between Dittos and Originality. If you highlighted the old laughing smilies on Narniaweb, they sort of looked like evil hamsters chattering their teeth. They were supposed to work for the side of Originality. /random
I can kinda see that. A little bit, if I squint and turn my head just a tad. . .
*waves to ILF*
LL, you miss the old emoticons? I miss them a bit too but I LOVE the new ones!
Well, I liked the 3-D-ness of the old forum emoticons, plus I was used to those. I think I'll like the new ones. . . eventually. Otherwise, I'm going to code all the old ones in from my Photobucket.
Ed P, I'm sorry you don't feel well!
I'll be lurking; I'm trying to work on some papers. Dumb Blackboard is down (again. . .). Of course that's where one of the assignments just has to be posted. *grumble, grumble*

Sweet...first page.
The forum has been interesting for me so far. I don't think it's completely uploaded yet, so I can't see everything quite like it's supposed to be.
Thanks Abe for opening up a new Square for us.
Yes, a first Town Square...hasn't been one of those for years.
Dove season has been quite successful for us so far. Dad and I have killed thirty-seven between us. He's a much better shot, and we both have missed a lot, but it's been a blast.
We grilled one batch today...oh my goodness..oh my goodness..grilled dove is without a doubt one of the best tasting meals you will ever put in your mouth. People who think it's weird to eat a dove eat it and go WOW. Man. We ate about twenty pieces today. Got plenty more in the fridge, and hopefully tomorrow will yield another ten or more.
Church was very good this morning. The kids in the younger classes moved up today, so we had four new members in youth.
College football season started on Thursday, and most of the SEC played yesterday. Tennessee, Florida, and Mississippi State wupped up on their opponents. Georgia lost sadly, but Alabama and LSU were able to pull out a win against tough opponents.
On a sad note in CFB, Sam Bradford, last year's Heisman trophy winner and quarterback at Oklahoma, went down in the second quarter of their game with BYU and sustained a shoulder injury. They think that he will be out for two to four weeks, so he has los this chance to win another Heisman. Hopefully he will heal up soon. Oklahoma isn't looking too good right now without him, they lost to BYU last night.
So how have ya'll been lately?
They did drugs and they're all dead.
I went hunting and I'm still Ted-Ted Nugent

Ah, it's been a while since I last visited the Square! *Breathes in the Town Square air*
I had a wonderful summer! A missionary family from Italy (actually, from here, but they moved to Italy to be missionaries) came here for the summer. It was so good to see them again after a few years! We got caught up, and had a really enjoyable time with them. It was really sad when they left, though. Anyways, that's how I spent most of my summer.
But how have all the Square Onions been?
* wanders in half asleep *
Mortereve, everyone. I’m about to fall asleep in my chair, but we’ll see how far I can get. The party last night was a huge success, marred only by the fact that yours truly had to get up early the next morning to teach a dozen or two small children. One of the nice things about regular church is that you don’t have to show up an hour (or so) earlier than everyone else.
Now, on to what everyone else said!
My mothers username is Lady Amalthea. She'll probably make an appearance sometime this weekend. My Dad's username is KingLune004.
Ah, I foresee some confusion here. I usually go by Lady A, also, so we may have to figure out something.
Ooh, I hope you find some most delectable sweets to snack on!
No, they were bad, and only got the sweets they like. I probably don’t need them anyway. Nevertheless….
I had one.
If I want good sweets, I should probably take the time to make some. And I will, since winter is coming, and rain and tea absolutely DEMAND sweetness of substance…and soup…and bread…and…..
Hello! How are you doing?
At the moment, quite tired, and very glad that tomorrow will be a holiday here. How about yourself?
One thing about saving these to anything involving the Role Play.... Ditto Town in the story is laid out quite a bit differently than the role play ditto town and so are the surrounding areas. I don't know if that'll affect your records.
The elves I’m not very good at keeping the different records separate…especially since there are things like, Erik and Abby are in several stories with the elves, but aren’t very much Fountain or Mansion characters any more, but the elves refer to their adventures elsewhere as if they were in the same universe instead of alternate universes. I’m guessing this is just one of the quirks that the elves have.
Speaking of which, would you mind if I hyperlinked from my DT blog to your site for the Inn Between records?
Ehh, I'm not sure the Mansion is very safe right now. If you come back, I'll tell you about lefse. It's a potato flat bread, and often comes out around Christmas time. It is nummy-licious! It's flaky but flexible, and if you put butter and brown sugar on a warm piece it's even better.
Lol. I’m actually not writing in the Mansion right now b/c of the relative safeness and my own schedule, but I am keeping a half-closed eye on it.
Lefse sounds interesting…I may have to research it further! If I end up making any, I’ll do my best to let you know the results. Thanks for the reference!
Ah! We (the Royal family this time, and NOT the Royal We) have just been treated to a repast of Some Sort of Soup (lentil, I believe), homemade Irish brown bread (made from fresh whole wheat, ground by Lady A and Prince Cor, fine lad that he is), followed with a bit of cheese and fruit. Splendid!
Two things: 1. May I have the bread recipe? and 2, this is true proof that the Lady As are going to cause confusion. Yippee!!
I have the music for that song [A River Flows In You]. It's really pretty!
It is! I found out about it when a friend and I were playing and singing about a week ago. We were going through all our favorites, and then she said she wanted to play one that she thought I would like…and, of course, I did, and then had to buy a copy.
You play the piano, then, Djaq?
~~
Ah, so now, I have figured out how to spy on everyone and know what is going on in their lives, and it is even better than facebook: The Town Square!!!

NN, I'll be difficult and say that the SFX weren't low quality--they were just incongruous. And while I prefer Georgie Henley as Lucy, I wouldn't go so far as to say that the casting was baaaad.
Djaq, are there other little neices and nephlings are expected in your family right now? I keep getting confused when I try to figure it out. But congratulations to your sister!
*waves back to Queen Susan* I keep meaning to ask--do you have a nickname? I get all the variations on Queen Susan mixed up.
FF, it's too late for that. She's long since finished the book. But maybe I can convince her that it'd be fun to see the movie anyway.
I'm not a fan of cold oatmeal. Sorry.
Only be sorry if there are actually fans of cold oatmeal in the Square. *looks around* I... don't see any. (I don't like cold oatmeal either. EDIT: That was supposed to be a wink, close peren, but I suppose that works too.)
Ti'ana, that sounds like a good dinner. We had purple beans and purple potatoes that day, I think. I didn't know such things existed...
Aravana, what's so hard about Ctrl+T to open a new tab?
Lady A...rwen -- perhaps we could call you Wren? -- if you do try making lefse, do not let the potatoes boil to long and get waterlogged. That is what happened when we tried to make our own. I wish you the very best of success, though! It really is delicious.

Mortereve all! How has everyone been today? My day has been fairly good; somewhat quiet (again), but I was able to read quite a bit, and I think this evening we'll be watching the next Get Smart episode, so it should be good.
@ WinterStar Hehe! When I was 4, I used to always say I was 44, which was quite odd. I remember doing it too... I wonder if that's opposite of what we're talking about now. Anyways. I kind of understand about the birthday thing- it's hard to believe next year I'll be an adult. While 18 isn't particularly old, it does bring on extra responsibility and...
Oh, and thank you! I can now rest at peace about the mysterious person in your sig.
Djaq: Sounds neat! Will you keep us updated as to how it goes? It sounds like a great ministry opportunity.
Cor: I don't mind in the least! Heh, yes. There has been quite a few movies/tv shows version, hasn't there been? (Not to mention stage plays, but I haven't heard of any of those being around for a while. )
Queen Susan: That sounds like quite an experience for your brother- I'm glad he made it back alright! Cold oatmeal...I agree. Yick.
Aiden, I sure do! Here you go.
Alas, yes. Mainly the newest releases, though. About a month later they go down, and sometimes movies made a couple years previously are about $6.00 or so.
*waves to Mrs. Jo* How are you & all your kin?
Narnia Girl: Maybe the bear ate your bird feeder and died.
@ Edmund P.: I am glad you got to do what you wanted to do, that's great! (although yes, I hope you feel better soon!) I have been pretty good, thanks! Been reading lots.
Mel: Ah, right. I read your sentence wrong. Hmmm yes. At least you could watch it, and maybe she'd be interested? (It's worked with other members in my family and other movies. )
Well, I should probably be off. Cheers!
Dear days of old, with the faces in the firelight,
Kind folks of old, you come again no more.

Only be sorry if there are actually fans of cold oatmeal in the Square. *looks around* I... don't see any.
* tentatively raises hand *
I...like semi-cold to cold oatmeal with dried fruit in it...but I like Irish oatmeal better.
Lady A...rwen -- perhaps we could call you Wren? --
lol, I can add that to my list of nicknames...Lady A, LArwen, LA, Arwen, Lady, Lady Amë, Amë, Swordy's A, Sista, Evil Twin, Twinliness, TOO, The Overweight Orange, Wren....Lady A has been the only one to really stick with more than one person, but I kind of like Wren, so we could try it.
f you do try making lefse, do not let the potatoes boil to long and get waterlogged. That is what happened when we tried to make our own.
Oo, okay. I'll keep that in mind. * makes a note *
I'll be glad to add this to my variety of dishes--I enjoy making traditional meals.

When I was 4, I used to always say I was 44, which was quite odd.
Not that odd, my brothers do it too. And then when they hit the double digits, they start reversing them. Except for 11, I think they still double that one.
Wren, Mel-y-poo? That's...err... unique. I probably shouldn't have said that. Now we'll have cold oatmeal fans crawling out of the woodwork. But does your oatmeal get all lumpy and unappetizing when it gets cold? I know I've had Irish Oatmeal at least once, but I can't remember where it differs from oatmeal.
*ponders the list of nicknames* I suppose Arwen or Amë would work, but most of the others would probably get you mixed up with someone else, or seem to be specific to the person who bestowed it upon you. We can't all be your evil twin... could we?
What kind of traditional meals do you make?

I used to do digit flop with my Grandfather... * sighs and remembers the good ol' days *
Wren, Mel-y-poo? That's...err... unique. I probably shouldn't have said that.
Wren, Mel-y-poo, or oatmeal?
does your oatmeal get all lumpy and unappetizing when it gets cold?
No. I cook my oatmeal until it starts getting to a jello-ish consistency, which I think comes from the fruit, and then the fruit makes like little scald-your-tongue bombs, so I wait until the fruit cools down, which means most everything else is cold. I also don't use milk or sugar....
I know I've had Irish Oatmeal at least once, but I can't remember where it differs from oatmeal.
Usually the oats are steel cut instead of rolled, so they have to cook for a lot longer. It is usually thicker, and you put butter in instead of milk. Also, you can re-heat it without it turning yicky.
I suppose Arwen or Amë would work, but most of the others would probably get you mixed up with someone else, or seem to be specific to the person who bestowed it upon you. We can't all be your evil twin... could we?
I'm fine with Wren...and I don't know. My evil twin tends to be able to duplicate rather quickly.
As for traditional meals...I like making Norwegian coffee breads, Indian meat-dishes, Indian Rice dishes, paratha, a type of eggplant roll that is Asian/Indian but I don't know the name of, and some other things that I can't remember names of. When I want them, I look them up.

Catching up. . .
KK, sorry you've been having troubles viewing the forum correctly. Hope it works itself out soon.
Glad you're dove hunting has been going well.
Poggin! Wonderful to see you here again! That's fantastic about seeing your missionary friends!
Hullo, Lady Arwen! I don't believe we've met; I'm Lady_Liln, and go by various nicknames such as LL and Lady L. I think I'll stick with Wren or Arwen for you if that's okay.
*waves to Mel*
Hehe! When I was 4, I used to always say I was 44, which was quite odd.
Aww! That's adorable.

My first post here in the makeover of Town Square. Not exactly a makeover, more like the whole of Ditto Town was picked up and moved.
Still getting accustomed to reading the style of this forum. Admittedly, I am finding it quite a strugle.
Good mortereve to all.
