*gets the fancy words for birthdays and weddings mixed up, so was slightly confused by King Lune's proclamation* However, I gather that it was a Royal Birthday, and so I wish you many happy returns of the day, sire! :D

Melsereena! :D (Hope you don't mind the nick-name.)

Not in the slightest. I actually like the name "Mayaserena" so it's kind of close... ;))

Ti'ana! Valia! How lovely to 'see' y'all again! :D

You are almost finished! :D

Not so, not so. I'm less than two-thirds finished with the story line. And I was lazy yesterday and wrote only a thousand words. :( But yes, I'm almost to 50,000 words. Which is cool. :)

You said something Else other then good because I would not have said what i said if you just said its going good ;)) whatever I guess It does not mater #:-s

This is what I wrote:

If by "it" you mean "life", then it's going pretty good! ;) How have you been? :)

So, I said "pretty good", but I was close. ;))

Now, I will go write. ;))

*Cor and Vern enter the Square munching on fresh cinnamon toast and discussing the upcoming release of the Avatar soundtrack. Actually, the Prince is the one doing most of speaking while Vern is busy eating his cinnamon toast or roll or whatever it is.....*

.... so, I'm hoping the CD will have a lot of score tracks and that the pop song wont get in the way of orchestral pieces.

*Vern looks over at his companion as he takes a seat beside the fountain. Sounds good. Do you want that other slice of toast?*

Mortereve all! Well, as I'm sure all of you know, KingLune's birthday was yesterday. :D A fun time was had by all. I took my Royal Father out for lunch to cafe in-town and then after supper we went to see my Grandmother and had ice cream and fresh chocolate chip cookies. :)

Now for a catch-up post:

----------------------------

@ Lucy. Mostly been busy with school and writing for my blog. So, the usual. :) I'm also writing a story for one of my characters in the RP I'm a part of, so that's been fun.

@ Fanny. Oh good, I'm glad that didn't sound too strange.

Thanks! *1* Life's been going pretty well, staying busy with the usual stuff. I've started re-watching some of my favorite movies from when I was younger the last few days, which has been a lot of fun. Right now I'm on Jumanji. :)

@ GreenLeaf. Yes, or the ongoing question of "How far can (and should) you go to stop evil? How far is too far?" and as is shown with Harvey "when do you become the very thing you try to destroy?". A very deep, thought provoking movie. Definitely not your "popcorn summer film".

It's hard to explain how the music goes, but I think the track "A Dark Knight" should have been used for the final scene and the credits. It fits the mood of the end so well."A Watchful Guardian" is the end credits music as it appears in the film. :)

Heh, it's also on my Christmas list of DVD's to get. ;)) Begins is a lot more fun than TDK. It still has it's deep moments, but it balances the fun with dark better than TDK.

@ Flam and Djaq. Sounds like you had a great time at the concert! :D It was slightly difficult to tell who you liked more, but I finally figured it out. ;)

@ Bella. Thanks! *2* :D I'm glad to know someone reads it. :p

*Greetings, miss Bella (not from Twilight). ;) Speaking of that series, are people calling you Bella more now that the second film is coming out?*

@ Mel. *A human named after me? I'm greatly honored, Mel! :D *ahem* is this human a likable chap? The one in your story?*

*rolls his eyes at the Royal Father's decree* He's been hitting the root beer cellar again......

@ Ella. Nice to see you around again! Is NaNo going well for you?

Valia!!!!!!!! So good to see you! I hope your last few exams go smoothly. :)

*waves to Ti'ana*

@ Djaq. Thanks! *3* A quick question: is the Djaq that chats on Jojo's blog you? :-

Yeah, that was sort...... :-?? *ahem* How's the weather wherever you are? ;) :p

Ah, it's hard but we manage somehow.

*Manage? I thought we do pretty well as a team. Granted, I do have to keep you in line a good deal of the time. Especially after that incident with Miss Destined and the chocolates.....*

...... /:) ....... *cough*

------------------------------

Alright, that does it for me this evening. I think Vern and I shall return to the castle and possibly try to watch some more of Jumanji before bed calls....

Goodnight to all!

*Cor and Vern exit the Square. The Prince begins to break-out into a rendition of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" before being quickly silenced by his dragon friend*

NN95: Yup...just more braces...it's not wearing them that I really mind, but it hurts so bad when they put them on!! :-s

I'm homeschooled too, Benjamin. Yeah it is great. :D

Djaq, yes, I am working on some new songs on the piano. :D My teacher and I are working on doing a song by ear. It's called "Build an Ark" by the Gaither Vocal Band...it's lots of fun so far!

Sounds cool, PrinceCor! Do you like to write, then? :D

All done with ketchup...now, what did we do yesterday? Oh yeah! We went shopping with some friends, stopped by Chick-Fil-A for dinner, and then had tennis lessons. ;)) Tennis is going well, I'm really enjoying it now. :)

Mortereve all!

It's me! :) I really miss being here more, and I am trying to get in the habit of coming around more often, but I've been rather busy with NaNo and family. :)

Ah, I understand, but I do hope you can make it by more often. :)

Mmmhmm. :) I'm not subscribed to anything, so I just have to make sure I check everything when I get on. ;)) Have you looked at the entries yet? (If so) What do you think of them? :)

Yeah, well, I barely go anywhere else on the forum than the Town Square, so I don't have anything to check when I get on. That's why I subscribe to the few things that I do want to keep an eye on. Anyway, no, I still haven't read any of the entries..... :|

Okay, looong line now...*deep breath* :P
"Ben, for goodness sake, it's like stealing a national monument, it's like stealing him" *points to the statue of Abraham Lincoln* "it can't be done..not that it shouldn't be done, it can't be done. Let me prove it to you." (scene switches to the Library of Congress) "OK, Ben, now pay attention. I've brought you to the Library of Congress. Why? Because it's the biggest library in the world. Over twenty-million books, and they're all saying the same exact thing: 'Listen to Riley'. Now, what we have here, my friend, is an entire layout, of the archives. Short of builders' blueprints, you've got construction orders, phone lines, water and sewage, it's all here. Now, when the Declaration is on display, it is surrounded by guards, and video monitors, and little families from Iowa, and little kids on their 8th grade field trip, and beneath an inch of bullet-proof glass, is an army of sensors and heat monitors that will go off if someone gets too close with a high fever. Now, when it's not on display, it is lowered into a four-foot think, concrete, steel-plated vault, that happens to be equipped with an electronic combination lock and biometric access-denial systems."
Okay, pretty much all of that was done by memory, so cut me some slack if I messed up. ;)

Whew, impressive! You have a good memory. Hope I can do as well.
"You know, Thomas Edison tried and failed nearly 2,000 times to make a carbonized cotton-thread filament for the light bulb. When asked about it, he said, 'I didn't fail. I found out 2,000 ways how not to make a lightbulb.' But you only need to find one way to make it work. The Preservation Room. Go ahead. Enjoy. Do you know what the preservation room is for?"

"You mocked me once, never do it again! I died that day!" The Princess Bride. (So true.)

"Haven't enough of us died already?" PC.

Exactly. ;)
My teeth are still straight, and I haven't had any problems. :) Every orthodontist is different; one of my older sisters only had to wear hers at night from the day she got her braces off. /:)

Hehe, sneaky. ;)
Well, that's good! Yeah, true. Wow, usually the older you are, the more likely your teeth will go back to the way they were. I'm surprised your older sister only had to wear hers at night right from the start. :-o Oh well, hopefully I won't have to wear mine much longer.

"We have anxiously awaited your return, my liege."
We tend to start quoting conversations a lot. ;))

"Oh my, he is so cute!"

NN95: Yup...just more braces...it's not wearing them that I really mind, but it hurts so bad when they put them on!! :-s

And when they tighten them. :| But, you're right, wearing braces is just fine, because, when they don't hurt, you hardly even notice them! That's why I'd much rather have braces than a retainer.

Second post of the day! Mort'reve all!

I hope you have a BIG house. ;) I'm good.

;)) Yep, it's pretty big. I think it's too big sometimes. ;) Ah well, it's really nice. :p (Talk about overuse of smileys here...) :p Ah! Ok, so I'm rambling too...
Anyway--a big house is nice since we have 10 people in our family--since my sister got married. I'm the only girl, so I have my own room--and it's quite large.
[/ramble]

*waves to NN*

Ruby: Yay for piano lessons! How fun! :D

How are you? And whose the person in your avvy? It's really pretty. :)

I'm well, thank you! And you? My avvy was made by flam I'm fairly sure. :D The girl in it is from the movie "Gods and Generals" I believe. :)

But why do you happen to call her Merie?

That's her middle name--and in my novel I'm using middle names for some of the characters. :p

Yay, a post by Destined! *reads further* Even-more-Yay, a post by Destined and Bets!! :D
;)) Nice post! :p Sounds like you were having fun. ;) Did you write in your novels eventually? :p

Thanks for the encouragement on violin, greenleaf! :D I should have my first lesson next Tuesday...

ForeverFan! Hi! :D I just read your PM a half hour ago or so... Don't know when I'll get around to replying to it though! :p
Did I mention to you that I'm planning to try and learn the violin? :)

flam and Dj: Sounds like you had a very fun time!!!

Ello all! I tried to play the flute today. :D It was ... semi-success and semi-trial&error. Purty interesting, and a little different from the piano, yet the same... :p /:)

Anywho, to catchup! :D

CS, things have been going pretty well. School is going smoothly, and I've been reading like nuts, as usual. How about you?

Lol, pretty much the same. School, reading, afterschool stuff, yep, tons of fun. :D/ Can't wait for Thanksgiving, though! :D What 'bout you?

It goes good! How is it for you? (we're so specific. . . )

Lol. ;)) It's allright for me. :) Anything interesting or the like happening?

Not in the slightest. I actually like the name "Mayaserena" so it's kind of close...

Okidoke then. :D Ooh, Mayaserena sounds pretty, where's it from?

@ Ella. Nice to see you around again! Is NaNo going well for you?

Well hello there Cor! D'aww, thankyou. :) Ah, NaNo. It's going well, a little slowly, but well. Are you joining it, this year?

*waves to Ella*

*waves to QS* Ello.

Well, I must be off. Nice talking to y'all again! Adios. :D

Ooh, I can't wait for Thanksgiving either, CS! We're visiting our grandparents, who live several hours away, for a few days, and we're going to celebrate Thanksgiving with them. :) It'll be so much fun.

Wow, the Square's been slow for the past couple days. Anyway, yesterday was my dad's birthday. :D I gave him a pack of Reese's peanut butter cups for his birthday. Then our grandmother stopped by with a chocolate cake for his birthday. It was really good. We went out to dinner later too, and had a great time. :)

Djaq, I didn't get much writing done on the 17th either, but now it seems to be flowing again. 10 more days until the end of the month!

Vern, the Vern in my story hasn't said much yet, but he seems quite nice. :) Apparently, he's a good singer. I think he plays the flute too, but I learned that late last night and I might be getting him mixed up with his brother, Mattin...

Does the Royal family have any exciting plans for Thanksgiving, Cor?

*waves back to Su²* :) ;)

Ella, you say okiedokie too? ;)) Mayaserena was a queen in a book I read once. I don't think I'd recommend the book, but the name is cool. I like your location!

Good Mortereve everyone! I hope everyone is doing well! I am well- it's been really rainy here...raining all day. I like the rain, though, so it's no matter. Although I think some snow might be nice... ;)

Thanks! Yep, I got it a few days ago. It's good, not my favorite but really good :-bd And the cover is awesome :P The songs seem to be a little slower, but their song writing is really good.

Ah, good to hear! :) Good to hear! Do you have any particular songs that you liked? (You know, the ones that stood out to you the most...) :)

How is life going for you? :)

ForeverFan! NaNoWriMo is going really well. I'm actually taking a break for a couple of days. *GASP* I know, according to the rules you're not supposed to take a break. But I'm slightly ahead and I think I deserve one.

I can understand your craziness about NaNoWriMo. My sister (JMoon) is already to like 70,000 last I checked.

I promise not to tell a soul. ;) How did your break go? I presume you're back to writing now? :) I'm glad it's been going well for you! And tell your sister congratulations!! :) 70,000 words really good! :) But of course, any word count is good. :) :)

So! How is your life apart from NaNo going? :)

It's been going fairly well, thanks for asking! :) The first story that I completed perhaps was the one that got me most into it, the rest are not so but I'll try pick up what I haven't reached today and aim back for 50, 000.
Anywho, how have you been lately? :) I've missed talking to you on the Square!

*huge hug back* I've really missed chatting with you too!! I hope you are well? I have been, busy with school of course, but it's the weekend, so that's done for another...week. :D *tries to think of anything else that has occurred that is notable* Hmm, well, my family are getting all our Christmas shopping done. ;) Which is so notable, of course. I have a pretty good idea of what I'm getting, but I don't mind. As us kids have gotten older Mom and Dad have allowed us to pick what we want (generally two or so things, and they pick from that), but I only wanted one thing, soo... ;) I promise I didn't go shaking Christmas presents and sneak around at midnight peeking... :D :D (Not yet, at least. ;) )

Mmm, yeah! Okay! :) I hope it has picked back up for you, I kind of now how it is with a story line that is alright, but not "the" one, and all. :)

FF, yes, I have had two other tennis lessons, besides my first one. :) It's going a lot better, and I'm enjoying it more now. :)
Well, today I have piano lessons, which I can't wait for. Also, we're going to the library today, so I can't wait for that either. :D Lol.

I realize this is several days old, but, I hope that your lessons and whatnot went well! :) Did you get any good books at the library? What are you reading now? :)

I'm glad that you're enjoying the tennis lessons more and becoming more adept at it! :) That's wonderful!

Happy Belated birthday to your dad too! :) :)

It's going... very interestingly. ;)) My characters decided that they were going to have a polo match, which was not what I was expecting. So now I'm rereading Frog, the Horse that Knew No Master to quickly check my polo and tropical setting facts. (Of course, the match has already been written and is probably full things one would not find in a polo match, but there may be others...) And congratulations to you for being done! :-o

What Ho! A polo match sounds capital indeed! :) I hope that didn't throw a wrench too much in your plan. ;) If I may, what is your story about? :) Thank you! :) *curtsies*

Ah, there do indeed. ;) Yeah, it is a shame. Apparently the city is trying to get it closed, or something. They've definitely cut the funding down, I know that. There was a hearing at city hall recently... eh, too complicated for me. ;)) Yeah, I completely agree with you. And, no, that's not selfish. Of course you'd want the library to have what you wanted. Otherwise, what's the point. Ah well...

Heh, yeah! My Mom has gone to several meetings such as that for the library...who knew running a library could be so...complicated! ;) Heh, anyways. I'm glad that's not selfish to feel like that. :) I just remembered though that my library did have some books I was looking for (obviously more then once!) but in the recent past. It was nice to be able to read them without having to buy them...and we have used the internet there when ours was down...so...yeah. Anyways.

How are things for you? :)

She is only doing a little better if any. Thank you very much for your prayers! Hopefully, she will be better soon. :)

Ah, I see (about your novel)! Very nice! :D

Mmmm, thanks! And you are very welcome! Please let us know how she does!!

It's going pretty well. :) I have a fair bit to catch up on since I was gone for the weekend, but I should be able to do it.

*cheers Djaq on* You can do it! :D (If you have not done it already! ;) )

Thanks! *1* Life's been going pretty well, staying busy with the usual stuff. I've started re-watching some of my favorite movies from when I was younger the last few days, which has been a lot of fun. Right now I'm on Jumanji. :)

Oooh, that is always fun! :) Lately we've started doing that with our younger brothers, watching movies with them that we loved when we were younger. It's been...interesting. ;)) Since most of the ones we watch with them are comedies/more light hearted films, it's sometimes more fun to watch the boys laugh then the actual movie (since, of course, we've most likely seen it several times already and know what's going to come next. ;) )

Queen Susan: *waves* Hi! :) Just take as long as you need to reply! :) Ooh, the violin? Fun! :) Have you started that yet?

Well, I should be off. :) Cheers everyone! :)

Dear days of old, with the faces in the firelight,
Kind folks of old, you come again no more.
