We interrupt NaNoWriMo to bring you this informational message.
Betsie and Destined have been spotted slinking into Town Square!
Yes folks, that's right. Take a second look, we're actually here-and together!
*drumroll*
*waves to one and all* We're attempting a Winter and Ruby.
If we fail, please don't tell us.
We have just finished watching Pride and Prejudice '05. *evil laugh* Now Betsie has to be a staunch supporter the rest of her life!
I beg your pardon, Destined. She does not have to be. She wants to be.
Ah, but that's even better! Do you think we have time to watch the 6 hour Pride and Prejudice this evening? We could reassert that the '05 version is much better . . .
Hmmm. That might be fun. But, what about our dear languishing novels? I promised mine that I would spend time with her tonight, and I do not wish to be faithless.
What are we doing writing this, then? Besides, we've given our novels a good work out by talking about them for awhile . . .
Mine isn't even perspiring yet. Or 'glistening' as my southern aunt would say.
Hmm, it must be in better shape than mine . . .
*mildly evil laughter*
But that aside... are we going to begin our ticker tape parade and wave at everyone as we pass by in our sparkly pink convertible?
You mean people wouldn't rather listen to our arguing? Oh well . . .
*steps into convertible, puts on dark (white rimmed) sunglasses, and sits back and orders the chauffeur to drive on* OOOOPS! Wait for Betsie!!
Wait! Destined! That isn't the chauffeur we had when we got here! He's... someone else. Our old chauffeur was a French cook with a little mustache. This one is a little Oriental... What's that you say? She says his name is Mr. Ian Woon. Hadn't we better get our old one back?
*slaps forehead* Good heavens, how could I not notice this?! Stop! Police! Call the fire department! Does anyone have a handkerchief?
Smelling salts! Quick! Destined is going to faint! *whips out her first aid kit* *takes off Destined's dark glasses of the white rims, just as she keels over, out of the convertible, and into the fountain!
SPLASH
*revives, rather unpleasantly* Betsie! What have you done now?! Haul me out of here, and put me back in the car.
*does so* My, this just isn't our day. Maybe it's A Judgment On Me for not writing my novel. Mr. Ian Woon! Get us out of here!
*waves violently* Goodbyyyyyyyeeeeee everyone!
Good Mortereve, all! It was lovely seeing you all! *waves* *wrings Destined out*

Benjamin, yeah I guess there is only one Erol Flinn version. Let me rephrase that sentence. 'I prefer Disney's Robin Hood to the 1930's Erol Flinn version'. There, is that better?
Your entrance is pretty cool. maybe next time you could try jumping out of an airplane with a bunch up helium balloons and gently float down into the square. That would be awesome!
Hey Narnia Girl, I feel great to have entered the square and hope enter the Fountain sometime in the near future.
Is it true that everyone can go to the Fountain and that anyone can start a story of there own there or join in any story already going on?
Okay, bye y'all... for now.

"Put on your Sunday clothes we're going to ride through town,

We'll see the shows and delmonico and we'll close the town in whirl!
*together* and we won't come until we've kiss...ed a gir.. er...ll.
Oh dear.....
*I told you we should have sung "On the Street Where you Live"!*
Oh yeah, like that's a better song?
*Well, at least we wouldn't get in trouble with the ladies of the Square....*
Don't worry, Vern! LL and Mel aren't around right now. We're fine!
*Last time you said something like that I round-up in a lake and you got chased home by some very angry beavers.....*
That's a matter of complete indifference! Besides, I was merely an all-most innocent bystander.....

@ Gazer. Thank you! It rained for about 24 hours here and then cleared. If it wasn't for my grandmother telling us that a hurricane was coming through, we wouldn't have know it was Ida.
I highly recommend Gaslight. It's a great suspense thriller with superb acting and a very interesting plot. It's one of the films Lys and I agree on.
@ Pogginfan. Thanks! Yeah, I guess I am soundtrack fanatic. It's fun being able to share my thoughts on scores, even if no one reads the blog.
@ Lucy. Welcome! That was actually the first, er, second thing I noticed about that picture.
@ Pels. Heh, if we keep this up we'll end up like me and Rose. Constantly missing each other....
*Spots Ruby and Winter... wait, (looks again).....*
Destined and Betsie!!! So good to see you two around!! Sorry to hear about your most unfortunate fall, miss Destined. *rummages through his satchel....* Ah ha! *produces a box of Bulgy Bears chocolates * Now remember, these are MADE by the Bulgy Bears, not shaped like bears.
*hands his good friend the box of chocolates*
And for the Bestower of Nicknames, here is your own box of chocolates! *hands Betsie a box of the previously named sweets* That way you don't have to "borrow" from Destined. Of course, you could still do that if you want. (don't tell Destined I said that, O.K?)
*Vern greets the two elusive young ladies with a friendly wave. Good evening ladies! I trust all is well with the both of you?*
Good luck on your respective novels!!
-----------------------
Alright, Vern. I think it's time to go back to the castle.
*Very well. Lead the way!*
*Cor and Vern leave the Square walking side-by-side. The voice of the Prince can be heard drifting back along the road singing in his best Rex Harrison voice I'm Just an Ordinary Man with the occasional "comment" by the Royal Dragon.*

Watziznehm, I don't know much about the Fountain, actually. I'm only involved in one roleplay, and that's Featured Roleplay: Sunrise of Life. I've never looked at the Fountain much.
Lol, I see, PrinceCor. So, what have you been doing lately?
Wow, ketchup was so...quick today. I will never understand why weekends are so slow... Anyway, anything exciting going on...well, we went out to lunch yesterday, there were two deer in our yard yesterday afternoon, I read a book that afternoon, I watched Star Wars that evening, and I wrote more of my story.

Good Mortereve all! I fear this shall be one whopper of catch up, which is, of course, what happens when one leaves it for a week. Nonetheless, that habit should be over soon. Blame it on NaNo if you like, but I did purposefully cut back on my posts here so I knew I would have time to write. Anyways. I hope all is well with everybody, I am pretty good, a little tired (had an exerting day today), but all in all quite good.
(Just a note, this post has been written over several days due to lack of time/internet failures.)
We visited our cousins (Yes, those cousins with whom we always have shocking amounts of fun...) yesterday, and that was, well, fun! We played Monopoly, and one cousin and I were on the verge of bankcruptcy for about three hours but did okay until it was about supper so we called it quits. We do love deseperate situations. Anywho. We got home very late last night, and are probably still tired.
And now, for catch up.
FF, I think the injuries aren't too serious where he won't be able to recover, but I don't really hang around those type of people to know all the details :/
I love to look through my old drawings and artwork too! It's interesting how my concept of things have changed. Like the sky, I use to draw a blue line at the very top of the page. xD
Your challenge theorey does make sense.I also think that seeing some of the challenges that others have had to go through makes me not complain as much about mine, and be very grateful for the blessings God has given me!
Oh good!:) I'm glad to hear that!: )
Oooh, yes! I remember always drawing stick people, or even odder looking people than that, when I was younger, and now, well, I can't exactly draw human beings very accurately, but I'm sure I've got the basics right.
That is true- we watched a three week program on TV once where some missionaries went over to different parts of Africa. It was a follow up program to the previous year's, to show how the money that had been donated was being put to use, and some of the stories of the people were so sad. They live in such poverty, and I am so blessed! Even if sometimes I may not always have the money for the things I want, knowing that I do have so much else- even aside from the necassesites of life!- I know that I can learn to be content and wait on the Lord, even more know from watching that program. It was...eye opening. Not in a bad and horrible way, of course, no, it was rather good.
FF, yes, we had a great time on the bike ride! It was a gorgeous day. Tennis lessons went, well, as well as can be expected for our first class. All I can say is, tennis is harder than it looks. I keep tilting my tennis racquet when I hit the ball, and the ball goes crooked... I did have fun though. I've been practicing some at home with my sister, and it's going a little better.
How are things with you?
Ah good, glad to hear it! Well, not that tennis is harder than it looks, of course.
Have you had any more lessons?
I'm sure you'll be playing quite well in no time!
Things are pretty well with me, thanks! I've been able to get some reading done, for which I am very happy, and also lots of writing and living.
How are things with you?
I'm glad to hear your appointment went well too!
Mortereve Onions! My day has started out fine. I hope I can say so for the rest of the day.
I hope the rest of your day (Last Sunday) went well?
F2, that's good. Is there a deadline for NaNo? I'm so curious. And where does it get you after you finish it? Can you get your book published?
Thank you! There is a deadline of sorts- NaNo takes place in the month of November, from November 1st to 30th.
After NaNo, I think most people set their novel aside for a few weeks then get back to editing it and writing the second drafts or whatnot, especially if they are going to try to get it published. The novel and all its contents and copyright still belongs to you after NaNo, so if you want to get published, you can. I personally am only doing it for fun, so I probably won't send it out or anything. Although, there is a free "prize" of sorts for all those who win NaNo- a self publishing site is offering that you can get a free copy of your novel, even if the author thinks the novel is really bad. It doesn't matter- it's sort of like a inspirational prize because I'm sure it feels very nicely to have your own work in book form, eh?
So yes! Does that answer your questions?
I've been doing well, Fanny, and thanks for asking! I've been... catching up on the homework I missed while being sick.
Aww, I hope your sister gets better soon, and that the rest of your family stays well!
I'm glad to hear it! How is life going for you? I hope you are all caught up and such! Did you have any ill side effects after you got the flu shot?
Thanks! Thankfully she is doing much better and is back to her normal self, and the rest of us haven't got it either. *cheers*
Lys: ...Wow! Some experience with the toilet bowl cleaner....I hope all is remedied now!
Yes, exactly. You got more the impression that he knew where he'd gone wrong and was sorry for it. I think that was more the way it was in the books. In the other movie, I got more of the impression that he was self-centered and didn't care that he'd broke Marianne's heart. He was sorry he couldn't marry her, but had an "eh, whatever" attitude about it.
That is true- he really felt repentant. I think too (and I hope I haven't said this already) that he acted that "repentant" part really really well. Something I wasn't entirely convinced of with the Willoughby of the '08 S&S.
Ah, yes, that six page outline you mentioned. I bet that helps tremendously. Last year when I went in with a character and a motivation and a timeline and got about 2000 words a day. This year, I started with a handful of characters and some motivations, an opening scene and a few vague ideas for the other scenes and am enjoying finding out how they all tie together.
However, I'm getting close to the middle and I'm not sure what the point of those scenes are yet, or how they're going to parallel the ending. The outline helped up the word count so hopefully I have enough time to figure all that out.
*nods* How is your writing going? Congarats for attaining 40,000 words!! *applauds*
I'm having lots and lots of fun doing Nano, but I'm pretty far behind.

How is Nano going for you? You have an incredible word count!![]()
Your story looks really interesting.
Yes, it's usually not a good thing to over hype a movie/book. But I'm pretty certain I'll love it since I already know and love the plot, etc.
(Unless it's a very unfaithful adaption, which you've convinced me it is not.
)
Did I ever tell you I liked your avatar?
Oh good! I'm glad you are having fun- that is the important thing!
I'm sure you'll catch up!
Thank you!
NaNo is going pretty well for me, thanks! My original story ended at 48,000 words, so, since I liked one of my characters so much- he's a Victorian detective who was loads of fun to write- I decided to write a short mystery story with him in it. So, I've got the 50,000 words but have just to finish my short story, while I'm at it.
So yeah!

I actually don't remember too much about the 2007 Elizabeth.
Didn't she look quite a bit older though? I do think it's interesting that both adaptations have done a good job with Mary (who seems to be a much harder character to play), but they apparently can't figure out Elizabeth.
Hehe, thanks! We're supposed to get some more tomorrow. *hopes*
Hmm, yeah. If it's any help, she was I found more pretty than the 1995 Elizabeth, with lighter coloured hair and nicer, or more particular, softer features. (Perhaps it's being picky, but I found the 95 Elizabeth had somewhat harder features. Not ugly, of course, I hope I wouldn't call anyone that, but just not exactly what I imagined Elizabeth to look like.) She probably did look a little older. About Mary- yes...I'd say at least both the newer adaptations have done at least an alright job with her, I know some don't entirely like the new Mary, but I can't really complain.
Ah yes--the last time I slept in was a few weeks ago-almost two months actually-and I slept in about 3 hours. I was sick.
It was really nice, but it felt rather odd the rest of the day.
Yes. Of course, when one is sick, that does change matter, of course.
Oh, fun.
Yes, our pets get somewhat neglected as well. They don't seem to mind too much though--I guess they're used to it.
![]()
Hehe! Yes, I would say they are probably used to it. And, of course, I always have my sister. She's the horse girl in the family, and she loves to play and work with my horse, I guess because he's different from the other ones- more energetic, curious, a challenge, etc. So, between us, he gets lots of love.
Anyway, I'm glad you've been doing well, and it was a lot of fun doing the word war with you today!!
Thanks & Thank you!
FF!!!!!!! You're over 55,000! Absolutely amazing. Awesome work!!
Thanks! I would offer to Word War with you again, of course, but I think I've finished up all my writing for now.
But we'll see.
Our library has random movies that nobody's ever heard of.
Also, it's open very little during the week because it's not getting enough money. Yeah, we don't go there very often anymore, either.
Heh, yes. There seems to be so many of those types of movies, eh? That's too bad about it not being open often, I think libraries could be great resources to have, if they had what I needed. I guess that sounds, well, selfish, all about me & the like, and I realize that some libraries, especially those in small towns don't have the money to buy more books of all different types, but it's often easier I find to sometimes just buy the books I'm looking for than borrowing them from the library (mostly because they don't have them, or wouldn't be interested in buying them as they might not be borrowed enough) or interlibrary loaning them. Still. >_>
Fanny, I heard you got over 50k today! Wow!
Conga-rats! *takes fedora off in honor of Fanny*
Aw, thanks! *blushes* How is NaNo going for you?
I just find the '95 version of the characters so slimy and odiously disgusting that I have a hard time watching him. It's really at the point of caricature.
I don't think I really disliked the '95 Mr. Collins, although I could definitely see your point of view- especially about the caricatures. I had that problem with some of other of the characters in the 1995 version of P&P, specifically Caroline Bingley. I found her outfits and the way the costume designers decided to dress her just too over the top, and it was so obvious to the audience that she was "a bad guy" in relation to Elizabeth that I found her unbelievable. I think this is relative to your reaction to Mr. Collins from that time period?
On the topic of the '85 P&P (addressed Mel and Lys, I suppose), most of my family just re-watched that version over two nights. My sister and I agreed that, upon our second viewing, we were able to notice Mr. Darcy "softening" a little more other than right just at the end- which was what we first thought when we watched it several months ago. About him softening only right at the end and not a little here and there for some scenes building up to it. I still don't think that particular version of Mr. Darcy is my favourite, but I think he definitely has some merit in his performance.
Thank you so much! He starts work on the 16th of this month. I think that he will enjoy it, it's sort of like what he was doing before (at his previous job), but he won't have to be in charge of so many people (which is a good thing).
And, thank you for the conga rats on the twins!
Oh good! That is wonderful!
My life has been going well aside from NaNo. Except, my grandma (she lives with us) had to go into the hospital a few days ago, and she stayed for about four days. She's back now, but not doing very well, she can't walk very far and doesn't have much energy.
Yes, flambeau is feeling much better, thank you!
Oh, and a HUGE congratulations to you for your NaNo word count!! Is your novel finished or are you going to keep writing?
How is your Grandmother doing? I hope that she is doing better now- or if not, that she will soon! I'll be praying!
Thank you! Right now my novel is finished, although the original idea came to 48,000 words. As I was happy with it, I didn't want to bleed out that needed 2,000, so I wrote a short mystery story with some of the characters from the first novel.
It's sort of a sequel. That is done now, and I have so much to catch up on I think I'll not write more...but we'll see.
How is your story going for you?
@ Fanny. Yes, it's always a lot of fun to find a CD that's at a really good price. It seems to make the music all the better. Goofy, I know, but anyway.
Actually, that's not too goofy. I think I know what you mean. *nods*

Yeah, I know! They're all so original in their own way, which makes me love all of 'em more (although there are some I don't like, but their usually ones your not supposed to like so...) The one I have to read next is "Sorcerer from the North", but I have so many other books I want to read that that kinda went to the bottom of my list

Ok. So. This is rather scary: My Dad just gave me permission to learn violin and take lessons. Yikes! 😮 Now we just need to get a violin, and find a teacher, and... yeah.
I'm kind of shocked.
Good luck! I hope you have fun, I had a blast learning how to play an instrument besides piano (and since you already play piano it should be easier because you know the notes and stuff.

Greenleaf: Pairing Horace and the princess is a much more interesting situation. Why... Horace could become the next king...
I never thought of that... And he would make a great king IMHO...
greenleaf, lol, Dory with short term memory loss? (Finding Nemo is one of my favorite movies.) I agree! I liked how Halt and Erak worked together.
What's your favorite Ranger's Apprentice book?
I least I think I have it...
I love it too! (I remember Lys saying once that 2003 was a great year for movies, and I totally agree)
Yeah, that was great.
Hmm... that's hard, but I have to say The Ruins of Gorlan
Greeni: all my top teeth, I'll be getting my bottom one's in feb.
That's cool, at least you have time to get used to them before you get them all on. I remember when I got mine off and felt my teeth they felt so weird
Also cool that you had a sack in your football game Do you like to watch NFL football? Who's your favorite team?
Its pretty fun, I only weigh 111 though! So I have a huge disadvantage to the other guys who weigh 120, 130 and beyond.
I was really young when I played, but I was small and and girl, so it was pretty fun to knock people down and have them be surprised I could do that
Conga-rats Stardf! I hope it all went well, and that your time off was good
Sounds like great weather Stargazer!
Hurray!
Have you gotten the album yet? If so, how do you like it?
Thanks! Yep, I got it a few days ago. It's good, not my favorite but really good And the cover is awesome
The songs seem to be a little slower, but their song writing is really good.
Well, it sounds like you had a good time, greenleaf. I don't usually have any huge celebration, either... if it's a party, I can't think of what to do with everyone.
For me, it's usually just something small with close friends and family.
Me either. For me it seems a lot more special with close friends and family instead of a bunch of people you know but don't really know as well as family and close friends.
Aw Lys, that stinks. Although it sounds like something I would do It reminds me of one time I put ear drops in my eyes thinking they were eye drops
Greenleaf, Tim Tebow actually had a concussion from a pretty scary hit to the head. He's been playing, so the injury didn't have a lasting effect, but I'm not sure what it will do to his Heisman numbers.
Oh yeah, I saw that on ESPN the other day. Just watching the hit looked painful I hope he still does well though, he's a great football player but it seems like he's a great person too, which is really cool.
Hey Winty, good to see you! Good luck with NaNo!
Bella! great seeing you again :] I really like your avi! And good luck with NaNo
Aw, I'm sorry that I missed greenleaf's birthday!

I hope that you had a lovely day!!
It was lovely, thanks!
I'll be praying Edmund P., I hope she gets better soon How have you been doing?
@ GreenLeaf. Quite welcomed! I hope you had a splendid birthday.
Ah yes, that was a great part as was the hostage scene with Two-Face and Gordon's family. That was really intense! The ending monologue by Gordon is a true classic moment, though I still have issues with the music.... *pet peeve* I rented the DVD as well, but I had already read the plot synopsis, so I knew what the whole film contained and how it ended. Yeah, that scene with the Joker was too much in my opinion.
Thanks! I'm really enjoying it.
Yeah, that was very intense, and such a good scene. It's such a psychological movie, especially how I got "A Watchful Guardian" from iTunes, but I don't really remember how it goes along with the scene so I can't really say
I actually closed my eyes and took off my earphones when that scene came on...it was just a little too much for (well, and it was like 11 PM and I wanted to get some sleep that night

That's cool :] It was just on TV a few days ago, and even though I only watched ten minutes of it it's definitely on my list of DVDs now

How is everyone doing this lovely Sunday? Well, actually there isn't anything really lovely about today. I'm tired, like dead tired. I have homework to do. I hate doing home work on Sunday. It's all cloudy and wet outside. I guess that's one bright part to the day. And my brother's flying course got canceled today. Poor kid. He was looking forward to flying a plane for the first time today. Ah, well. I guess he'll have to wait a few days.
Narnia Girl! Christmas is always the highlight of my year. It's the one time when the family's altogether!! We should start a "crazy about Christmas" club or something like that.
Destined and Betsie! I love the joint post!! We should start a NW fan club for joint posts. I must be in the mood for starting clubs...anyway, it was brilliant! Plenty of insanity to keep me amused and laughing.
It seems Winter and I have started a new Narnia Web tradition! Haha!
ForeverFan! NaNoWriMo is going really well. I'm actually taking a break for a couple of days. *GASP* I know, according to the rules you're not supposed to take a break. But I'm slightly ahead and I think I deserve one.
I can understand your craziness about NaNoWriMo. My sister (JMoon) is already to like 70,000 last I checked.
leafy! Hey! I'm doing very well, aside from the fact that I have a lot of homework and studying to do and I'm dead tired. You?
Well, that's all I have time for. Erubadhriel is insisting that I return to my homework, so I will be off now!
God bless!

*flambeau bounds into the Square, dragging Djaq along with her and gushing about the amazing time we had on the weekend*
HELLOOOOOOOO people!!!! flambeau and Djaq (at the risk of being totally unoriginal) are here together/with each other/doing-a-joint-post-for-the-first-time!
Yep! We're first-timers, so please don't criticize us if we mess up. . .We will be sad.
What she said....
Now, what do you say we tell them about our vacation???? (I'm sure they're dying to hear about it... if not, we're going to tell you anyway)
Actually, they probably aren't all that excited about hearing about something that they don't know about...Sooo, why don't we just tell them 'bout the highlights, 'kay? Like when we got to meet---
WAITTTTT!!!!!!! Not yet, we'll get to that in a minute.
With the way that you're dragging this out, it'll be more than a minute. . .
*sticks tongue out at Djaq* Sooo, our story begins on Friday the 13th.
Is this going to be scary?? 'Cause I don't like scary stories!
Of course it won't be scary! *whispers* You were there, remember?
*comes out of a day-dream* I was where?
*sighs* That's what I'd like to know!
Now, to begin the story again "...our story begins on Friday the 13th. Whoever said that that was an unlucky date was totally wrong!"
We went to a concert on Friday (the 13th, if you haven't been paying attention). It was Dino Kartsonakis (an amazing pianist!) and DAVID KLINKENBERG (the best fiddle player that I have ever seen!!)!!! *ahem* Can you tell which one I like better?
Needless to say, we were excited! We had seen David in concert (with Jim Brickman) two years ago, and we were highly anticipating seeing him live again! We love his music! He is very talented!
), and there was a first act that was about an hour long. (fun-ish fact: flam and I were probably the only teenagers in the audience. Most of the people were older...
) There were dancers and Dino played some of our favorite Christmas songs; they were beautiful! He is such a talented musician!
The highlight of the first act (for us, anyway) was David playing his (awesome) version of Jesus Loves Me... which is mindblowing!! (Djaq and I started the clapping for the entire auditorium! We knew when to start because we'd seen him live before.)
(and the fact that we knew the song by heart didn't hurt either, flam. ) Then, there was intermission, which was pretty cool!
They had a table set out in the auditorium where you could buy Dino's music, and then you could have him autograph it.
In the lobby, there was a table where you could buy David's CD's and have him sign them...
Need we say which table we went to?? There were very few people at David's table (note: there weren't very many people at the concert at all because the show will be running through December) so we were first in line to get his autograph. I bought a copy of Fiddle-Levity (his second album) and Djaq bought a copy of his single The Star Spangled Banner.
Well, I was technically the very first person in line. He wasn't out there when we got there, so that's why we had time to buy the stuff. I was in the process of trying to take the plastic off of my CD, when he walked up behind me...
I couldn't quite get it, so he did it for me. (he bent the case too!
) He signed the front as we were talking to him. We all talked to him for a minute or two while he signed the CDs. My dad told him that we had come to the show to see him, not Dino, and said that we had been to see him before...that we had all of his music, etc.
He was like "Wow. Do you guys have a request that you want to hear for the second half?"
(to be continued)
We had totally not expected that question, so we thought for a minute while he signed some stuff for other people ('cause trying to pick a favorite of one of his songs is HARD!). We finally decided on Popeye, which is a hidden bonus track on 'Fiddle-Levity' and it's just a fun song when he plays it. He responded: "Popeye... wow... huh... I'm not sure how I'll fit that in, but we'll see... huh." (remember that this was a Christmas concert, and Popeye doesn't really fit that )
Our dad went out to the car to get the camera (we had forgotten to bring it in), and we went up to David (again...) and asked him if we could get a picture. He said "Yeah, sure!", so flam and I got on either side of him while my brother took a couple of pictures. It was pretty great!!
After that, intermission was over, so we went back in a sat down. The second act started and it was pretty cool, a lot of great Christmas music! David came out again about 10 or 15 minutes into it and played a few songs. After he finished one of them, he played the very beginning of Popeye!!! (our family laughed and clapped) Dino and his wife just kind of looked at him like "What are you doing?" and David said "I had a request for Popeye in the lobby, and I was like, 'where am I going to cram that in?' I just did!"
...and that was basically the end of our lovely evening! Oh, and we own the recording of the concert that night (you could buy it right afterward), and will have it forever playing on repeat of "Popeye"!
So, that was it folks!! I hope that we haven't bored you to death with our humble tale (tail?).
( *begins wagging her tail...* Or not...) If we have [bored you to death]...wow, the Square population will be seriously lowered! I believe that we shall leave you all with that and I hope that you have had a lovely day and that you have a splendid night!
Farewell to all! And to all, a good night! Now... go listen to some David Klinkenberg!!!! You won't regret it!!
*vainly attempts to calm down the world's biggest David K. fan..* Sorry, folks! *lures flambeau out of the Square by holding "Fiddle-Levity" just out of reach*
Tootles!!

P.S. I (flambeau) probably won't be doing a ketchup post until after November is over (I'm really busy with NaNo), but I will do one at some point!
P.S.S. I (flambeau again) would like to point out that we (Djaq and myself [flambeau again again]) are NOT fangurls in any way, shape, or form!! We appreciate his music and his dedication to God (which he is very open about!)!

Mortereve, all!
It's been a lovely day here at where I am. =] Church was fun; CS and I got up early and watched my mom practice playing hand bells with the rest of the hand bells group. Then we had Sunday School, Choir, and all that fun stuff.
I have a prayer request- May you pray for my studies lately? I've been doing well so far, but lately it's been alot on me and well, it's going to be a busy month like October was. So, prayers would be appreciated!
Anyways, I'm here to do catchup!
(It's nothing official like specific pages. I forgot when I last posted, so I'm just skimming through any random page and finding my name. I just had thought that I was being referred to as a Disney Princess by FaunstaticSyd but saw that she said Belle.
)
Wouldn't that be a mashed potato?
It's great to see you again!!
Ooh, did you have fun visiting ericnovak? That sounds awesome!
I believe it would, and I believe I wouldn't like to be one.
D'aww, thanks!
I indeed had tons of fun, thanks for asking!
How wonderful that your dad got a job!!
D'awwwww, Lady Lucy, your kittens are the cat's meow! (Pun intended.) *melts* I have a big sentiment for kittens, I warn you.
How fun that you're going to play the violin soon, Queen S!
Ella! Yours and Bella's posts seem to be getting rarer and rarer.
Thanks for dropping by and letting us know you're still alive.![]()

D'aw, that made me feel very special.
Yep, school has been getting rather busy and then NaNo and stuff like that. Anyways, it's been good to see each other more on chat, no? ^^
Bella, it's been too long since you've posted!
I think so, too! I blame NaNo, and my laziness. (Although more of the latter.)
How have you been lately?
Nice to meet you too, GeorgieXOXO!
Ahah, Redbox is the way to go for renting movies. It's just a dollar, and you can see it as many times as you want...with a time limit of 24 hours. We got it from Redbox, and we are probably going to wait 'till next year or so when/if the special edition might come out.
I don't know if it was just the DVD we rented, but did anyone else rent/buy up and notice it had no menu but speeded to the movie, and had no option of subtitles(It's a habit of our family to always put subtitles on when watching a movie. )?
Happy Belated Birthday, Lor!!!!
*waves back to Prince Cor and Vern* I thought I'd tell you how much I enjoy reading the reviews on your blog!
Ella! Bella! Welcome back!

Thanks, Mel!
How have you been doing lately?
(By the way, may I say I'm especially fond of your graphics set? It has such a nice feel to it. )
Just wondering, but would that be the same fedora you bought a few months ago? The one you were thinking about returning?
![]()
![]()
Ahahah! Actually, I did return that one and got a nicer, gray one for a nicer price, too. I love it now; it's the closest to the Fedora I'd been dreaming of getting. (Black with white thin stripes, like what office skirts and suites have.
) It's grey with white, but still cool all the same, and it has a nice place where I can insert any different ribbons, so that'll be fun! [/pointless ramble on my hat]
*waves to NG* I've missed you!
*waves to Ruby* I share your feelings for Autumn. I love the different colours in the trees, and when the leaves fall in a picturesque manner, it's all so lovely to drink in with the crisp breeze that hints Christmas coming soon!
*waves to Lady A and the three chocolate-bearing fauns*
A big, hearty hello and hugtackle to my dear triplet Pebbles! It has been far too long. What have you been up to of late?
*waves to Watziznehm* I've seen you around The Spare Oom and G&B, but I don't think we've met. You can call me AitB or Bella (not from Twilight)!
*had a good laugh over Dennie and Betsie's post* You both compliment each other to the fullest!
How is NaNo going for you?
It's been going fairly well, thanks for asking! The first story that I completed perhaps was the one that got me most into it, the rest are not so but I'll try pick up what I haven't reached today and aim back for 50, 000.
Anywho, how have you been lately? I've missed talking to you on the Square!
*giggles at Flam and Djaq's post*
*waves to everyone that she did not mention, but would have if she was not skimming as so done*
Well, I believe I'm done! I apologize for any typos, forgetting to bold your name, or anything of that sort. Also, sorry for my disorderliness...bear with me and please just try find your name.
Anyways, I'll be around. *waltzes to The Christmas Waltz over to a warm place by a fire*

Comes into the square thinking 'Wow I didn't know that Brazil was so big'
Hi y'all.
@Benjamin, that entrance was so cool and original. How did you ever come up with that one.
@Aslanisthebest, A fedora? That is so cool! So, are you going to like and go to people, with your fancy '30's suit complete with fedora and tommygun, and say 'hand it over chum or I will murtallize ya'?
Goodness I think that I have seen enough Murder She Wrote to last me the rest of my life. According to my generation I am really to young to be watching it, for my generation caters to something more modern like Miami Vice or Law and Order, but I like Murder She Wrote anyway. The mysteries are intriguing and the characters are colourful so if someone of my generation scorns me, well, I just live with it and watch Murder She Wrote anyway.
Leaves the square thinking 'Brazil is almost as big as the US'.

That reminds me, our church choir sang Made to Love today!
(I'm just looking through for words that spark up a memory.)
NanoWrimo's going really well for me. I'm halfway through!
