narnianerd: At first I thought they were for Fall...cool school colors!

stargazer: I've wondered why I haven't seen you lately! Glad your back! (11,100 words and counting... :p )

A couple of nights ago I watched Ice Age 3 and on youtube a lot of behind the scenes of Dawn Treader. Ice Age movies are so funny! =)) Has any of you watched any behind the scenes of Dawn Treader yet? I would love for you to post a few links; they are fun to watch!

*dashes into the Square, panting and gasping* Ack! It's past 8:00 already! I really have to hurry this ketchup post...I have lots of schoolwork to do...

Ketchup:

NN95: But, after all, the orthodontist is more painful than the dentist's. And I have an orthodontist appointment coming up soon...I think it's just some kind of check-up or something, though, because it's still a couple months until I get braces.

You're welcome, Riley! :) How are you doing?

Yes, I did read Eragon, malkah. I liked it pretty well - I like the Dragon Keeper Chronicles better, though. :p Have you read it?
What you said is pretty much how I remember it. Kale ran into Toopka on the street, if I remember correctly, and then Kale had some meeting or something, and there she learned that Bardon had to go with her on a quest. And Kale and Bardon disliked each other at first...they were always arguing a little bit...I thought that was funny.
Oh man, I can't choose a favorite dragon... Probably Gymn or Dibl, though. You?

GeorgieXOXOsmile: Hey there! Welcome to the Square!

greenleaf: You mean Erak? ;) Yeah, I thought that was really nice of him to help them out like that. I've finished The Battle for Skandia and The Sorcerer of the North now. I thought it was funny in Battle for Skandia when Halt and Erak were creeping through the woods to spy on their enemy, and Erak kept stepping on twigs and making tons of noise. :p
And happy happy birthday!!! :D

Aw, hope you feel better soon, PA. :( But that's great about your wallie-making! :D Oh, and I like your avie and sig a lot. :)

Lol, Mel, I'm not doing NaNo, so I have lots of free time. ;)) :p

stargazer! Hi! :D

And now that ketchup is done, I really have to go...schoolwork calls.

Ride's into the square, with a big smile before I remember my braces and quickly shut it

COZY SLIPPERS TO ALL!!!

NG: OOHH I borowed the Dragon Keeper books from a cousin but I only got the first three... My fav part so far is where Kale found out that Bardon was a half blood... I kinda guessed it but it was so cool reading it.

GXOSMILE: Yep; we are the Tiger's and our soccer team is going to states... :D so I'm pumped!

Has anyone heard of the movie/play called "The best Christmas pagent every" cause our youth group is doing it and I got the part of Charlie... The geek B-) it really quite a big part so I'm kinda happy :D

Mortereve all!!!!!

Out of curiousity, NN95, what does the line 'Don't be a PPWDKWTM!' in your sig stand for?

PPDWKWTM means "Poor Person Who Doesn't Know What They're Missing" referring to those who haven't read the CoN. I had almost forgotten that was in my sig. It's been forever since I've changed it.

By the way, welcome the the Square! Hope you enjoy it here.

*waves to NN95* I just noticed that the top of your posts have a post number on them instead of the "Re: Town Square" heading. Did you change that?

*waves back* Hey, somebody finally noticed! Yeah, I change that every time, just for fun. ;))

BTW, are you planning on continuing our PM conversation? :)

*waves to Rosa* Do post your catch-up soon!

@ NN. Hmm, school usually takes about 4 hours. Start at about 11:30 or so and get through at about 3:30-ish.

Ah, I see. I start at 8:00 at finish around noon, so about 4 hours for me, too. Surprisingly, I finished at 11 today! :D

NN95: But, after all, the orthodontist is more painful than the dentist's. And I have an orthodontist appointment coming up soon...I think it's just some kind of check-up or something, though, because it's still a couple months until I get braces.

Very true, for sure. Yeah, I have another orthodontist appointment sometime in December, but it's just to see how my teeth are doing with my retainer. Speaking of which, where did I put that thing? :-l

That's all for me. I'm off. Mort'reve all!

Mortereve all! :-h

This is a day late, but happy birthday, greenleaf! :D Hope you had a fantastic day!

How's NaNo going for you?

It's going pretty well at the moment. :) I'm behind on my word count (I have just over 7000), but there'll be a lot of free time today, so hopefully I can get a good amount written. ;) The only problem is that I'm severely lacking a plot for the section I'm coming up on, and that's rather scaring me.
How's NaNo going for you? :)

But other then NaNo I need to do math, practice piano, bake something, and it wouldn't hurt to sew or knit or reply to 3 letters or something.

I know what you mean; there's so much else that has to be done, especially in November. Why couldn't NaNo be in the summer? ;))

Hi GeorgieXO! It's lovely to meet you; I'm malkah. :)

I agree, I was really happy when he won the Heisman last year!

So was I! :) I was hoping he'd be able to repeat this year, but with his injury, I think it's unlikely. :(

Hmm, something makes me think you did just copy what I had said.... ;) *kidding* Well, among other things: Lawrence of Arabia, Nosferatu, The Quiet Man, Empire Strikes Back, Gaslight, Psycho and the Wind and the Lion. Most of those I've already seen, but Lawrence, Gaslight, Psycho and Nosferatu were new.

I think this might have been Syd you were talking to, not me. Or I've forgotten what we were talking about. ;) Psycho is a Hitchcock, right? What did you think of it?

Malkah, if your novel is anything like Josh Groban's voice, it must be pretty amazing.

Ha. I wish. ;)) What else do you listen to for NaNo (or writing in general)?

I hope you get to see Persuasion soon! It's one of the few adaptations that really captures the book. :)

NG, I haven't read Eragon, and probably won't. My book list is far too long already. :p I was just curious to hear what you thought of it; the DK Chronicles do sound like they're better. ;) Glad you enjoyed it, though! :)
Oh, I see. I thought I'd forgotten a scene at the beginning. ;) Bardon and Kale's relationship at the beginning is quite funny; they can't seem to do or say anything without pushing each other's button. ;))
Probably Gymn or Ardeo for me, although I love Dibl as well.

Spoiler
Ardeo's death in Dragonfire
really ruined the ending for me. :( I don't much care for the last four dragons; they just don't have the personality of the first.

Hey, somebody finally noticed! Yeah, I change that every time, just for fun. ;))

I thought at first it was a glitch of some sort. ;)) So that's the number of your posts in the Square? How do you change that?

Are you planning on continuing our PM conversation?

There should be a PM in your inbox now. I apologize for letting that go as long as it did. I've gotten shamefully behind on PMs, but that's no excuse, and it won't happen again. I'm really sorry!

*waves at everyone she might have missed*

Talk to you all later! :)

*Lady Lucy slips quietly into the square after finishing teaching her last art lesson for the day and school is all over* Hello everyone! The kittens are both doing good, and it is sort of sad, I do believe that they have already grown. :-o :(( They are so much fun though! Last night we had them out playing and they kept chasing each other and pouncing on a string that we would drag around. However, they have discovered that curtains are a fun thing to climb, so supervision is a must anymore.

Well, now for some catchup... Hi Malkah! I don't think that we have met either! It is so nice to meet you! *Extends hand and shakes one extended in return* You have read the DK series! *Is so excited to find someone who likes them too* I really enjoyed them so much! Though, like you, that one little incident did sort of ruin Dragonfire for me, though I enjoyed the rest of it. Which was your favorite in the series? Mine was probably either Dragonspell or Dragonquest.

Hello NarniaGirl, how are you? :-h I hope that tennis goes good for you!

Hey Narnianerd! Yeah, I have heard of the Best Christmas Pageant Ever, our homeschool group did it last year and I had the part of Grace Bradley.

"Hi" to everyone else that I didn't get a chance to mention. Well, I need to be going, I hope all of you have a great evening! Bye!

NG, I have some free time. I just use most of it for writing. ;) :p

Malkah, I like to listen to soundtracks while writing. Today, I was listening to Patrick Doyle's Henry V, but I've also listened to Doyle's Much Ado About Nothing, Prince Caspian, a sampler cd for the three different Prince of Egypt related disks they put out (the PoE soundtrack bits are excellent, the 'inspired by' songs are 8-} but not too bad otherwise :p ) and Geoffrey Burgon's Chronicles of Narnia (which includes other made for TV movie soundtracks) since the beginning of November.

*waves to NN*

Lady Lucy, your kitties are very cute. They do grow fast, don't they? :)

Hey, everyone! It's GeorgieXOXOsmile again! I'm sort of new in Town Square and loving it! :D

I also just posted an animated wallpaper I just finished up!

How cute! :-! Have you been able to capture any pictures of them climbing on the curtains?

How's NaNo going for you? :)

*they probably have NaNo in November to make it more challenging...* ;) Just kidding... :p

I'm behind on my word count too. :( I have 7,288, but my manuscript is on a computer that is being worked on... And I'm too lazy to keep going on without it. :p :p Even though I probably could--if I can get Microsoft Word installed or something.

*meanders into the Square, followed by a tiny dot of a shadow* Ahem. I'm back. I've put off catching up for a little too long, so here is my massive post... covering, err, nine pages... But that's still massive to me. ;))

And as for my little follower... *clears throat importantly* Here ye, here ye... allow me to introduce a new member to the Town Square: Momo. I found this eensy little smudge wandering about Beaversdam this afternoon, and brought her home. So I now have a new companion, and the Square has a Square Kitty. ;) ;))

Well... it’s been beautiful weather here: crisp, breezy, and cloudless. We’ve been raking leaves for the past few days, but it feels nice to be outside... so refreshing. I hope you all have been doing well!

I've been sick for the last couple days, but I'm feeling better today. The swine flu has (unfortunately) been going around nearby towns, and several kids from my school have gotten it. I don't think that's what I have, but... you never know. ;) Several other public elementary and high schools (that are large, mind you, with hundreds and hundreds of students) have been closed down because too many of the kids were sick. So... we'll see what happens. Mine is a small place, so we're just hoping and praying that we'll all stay well.

So, too business. ;))

*waves back to Ben* :-h Hey! How are you? Wow, that's great news about your sister. :) I bet you're excited!

Yeah... I usually don't have too much trouble keeping track of where mine is.... I just forget to put it back on when I'm done eating.

Well, I’ve done that that, too.

Oh really? I see... well then I suppose it's for the better that you're going to a regular school now—more motivation to do well, huh?

Yeah.

Those two, huh? I see.... /:) :p

Pshh, don’t rub it in! :p

Glad you’ve been doing well, Greenleaf!

Ahh... I know the feeling. Weekends are so wonderful.

Amen! I don’t know how I'd survive without them. ;))

Ooh, how did your math quiz go, Narnia Girl? I had one on Friday. :| It went… all right. I didn’t do quite as well as I hoped, but I didn’t get a bad grade either.

*nods* Edmund and Lucy are my favorite characters as well. Well, of course... there's Aslan, too, but he doesn't really deserve to be classified in the same category as the children ;)

I know my post is somewhat overdue, but this thing called real life wouldn't let me get on.

Heh, I know how that goes. At least you have a life… ;))

*waves back to Winter* It's kind of sad how the SM's show up automatically without having to highlight them first. It sort of ruins the secret part of the "secret messages".

Oh, and I see that Mel explained it all. So... nevermind. ;))

Aww, it sounds like you had a fantastic time at your grandparents' house, Narnia Girl! :D *wishful sigh* Our grandparents live over eight hours away... and their our nearest relatives. :( Ah well, glad you live so close to yours! :)

Wow, malkah... you've had FOUR snowfalls already? I'm jealous!! We haven't had any yet. ;)) But I suppose that's all right, because fall's a beautiful season as well. I wouldn't want it to leave too quickly. ;)

Interestingly enough, every time a new season comes around it almost always becomes my "favorite". ;)) Each and every one is so beautiful and special in its own unique way, and I love them all.

It worked very well for one, who never lost his retainer after that. As for the other guy...I think he baked quite a few batches of brownies.

*chuckles* ;))

Ahh, Queen Susan... I've been noticing quite a few comments about your dog, Duke (or I presume he's yours). You've probably posted pictures of him somewhere else on the forum, but would you mind showing me? (If it isn't too much trouble, that is.) I love dogs! They're one of my favorite animals, but I won't be able to have one for several years.

Last weekend we made 350 gallons of apple cider or something.

Whoa. Three hundred and fifty?! Goodness... that must have been quite a bit of work.

Anyway...today is my little brother's 7th birthday! We're going to be busy today, that's why I got on so early. First, we're going to meet our grandparents at Cracker Barrel for breakfast, then we're leaving for my piano lessons, then we're having lunch at my brother's favorite pizza place with some friends, then we're going bowling, then my sister and I have volleyball, then my little brother has a class, then we're going back home to have dinner and my brother's birthday cake, then my brother will open his presents. So. We're going to be quite busy. We'll be gone, like, all day.

Whew. #:-s What a day! It sounds like you all had a bunch of fun, though. :)

*gasps* Why... it's... LOUISE THE SECOND!!! !!! My, my... what a wonderful surprise! :) It seems like ages since you stopped by last. I've missed you and your cozy, familiar, wintery-feeling posts! Even though we're FB friends, we don't seem to talk very often. Sad... ;)) Come by more often! *sends a HUGE hug*

*feels special being mentioned specifically by her middle-name twin* :D

My, oh my Ruby and Winter... I loved your "third edition of the Ruby-Winter hour of utter insanity"! (And oh... what a grand entrance, I might add. That explains the mystery of the airplane engine I discovered and kindly removed from the Ditto Fountain several days ago. ;) )

Love ya, too, Ruby... and your sense of humor. ;)) There seem to be quite a crowd of good-humored folks around the Square. Tee hee.

Yep, I was the one who posted the Kutless lyrics. Glad you like the song, too! :) The words are so... I don't know. Encouraging, I guess. I can't think of a word that rightfully describes the feeling I get when I listen to it. ;)

My goodness, Cor... what's happened to you? Your posts are so long now! :-o

And since you probably can't remember what we were talking about ten pages ago, I'll just quote everything. ;)

@ Rose. Eh, yeah. I guess I could have cut back on the exclamation marks I suppose.... Well, you have definitely been missed around here as well. Glad you've been enjoying school as well. It's been a heavy load for me school-wise, but the subjects are not that difficult.

I've been doing really well. Some of my aunts and uncles came down yesterday to visit my grandmother, so of course me and my parents went to her house for lunch yesterday to visit. At the moment, Lady A is making hot chocolate.

Thanks for the comments on my Batman avatars! Of course, the real praise should go to Flam and Djaq for being so kind as to actually make the things for me.

Heh, it's fine. It actually feels kind of nice to be missed, silly though it may sound. ;)) Yep, school's still going well. Like you, the subjects aren't that difficult for me (except math). It's the amount of homework I have every night that swamps me.

Oh, sounds like fun! I've always envied those who have relatives nearby. My closest ones live over eight hours away in Missouri, and the farthest live in Germany. So, whenever we can get together, it's a BIG event. ;)

Mm... hot chocolate. *sigh* That sounds lovely! :) I think... I'll go make myself a cup, now that you've mentioned it.

Well, of course! I fail miserably at making my own graphics. I have good ideas, but I don't know HOW to make them. That's my problem. No one's ever shown me how, and so far I haven't been bright enough to figure it out on my own. ;)) So, I'm very, very, very thankful for people like Djaq, Flam, hyaline12, and all the others who supply me with all the avatars I'll ever need. :p (I probably have about 100 waiting to be used.)

*waves to Lark* Hey! :) I don't think I've met you. Are you new to the Square, or... do I just have terrible memory? ;)) Anyhow, pleased to see you around!

Have fun visiting Eric, Bella!

Whoa, Narnia Girl... you had me a bit worried about the "twelve pieces of pizza". It's good to hear they were only the size of your palm. ;)) Sounds like you and you family had a blast! No wonder you were exhausted.

Right now I'm in the middle of teaching my younger brothers a history lesson...

That sounds... interesting. ;)) Do you teach them regularly?

Hello, PoN! *sends a big * I hope you've been doing well.

-------------------------- Only nine more pages -----------------------------------

You guys should really make a "Ruby-Winter" account to post under.

Great idea! I totally second that. ;))

Pardon me. I didn't mean for that to come across arrogantly. If it did, I apologize . Yes, *sighs contentedly* 'twas quite an accomplishment for me . Though I don't see how it took me so long to read Jane Eyre. I suppose the largest change in Jane Eyre would be the language they use. So rich.

Oh, no... I didn't mean it in that way at all! You weren't arrogant in the slightest. ;) I was just being... erm... sarcastic? I don’t know… maybe stupid is more like it. ;)) I’m very sorry about that!

Yes, I really enjoyed Jane Eyre as well. The language was quite... well, a step up from what I was used to. ;))

Oh... dear me, Ed P. You never knew there was a chocolate tree? [-x However did you survive? ;))

*waves to Fanny* :)

I've had a wonderful weekend. Thanks for asking! I hope yours went well?

*skimming, skimming, skimming....*

Mhm, Louise the Second. The warm welcomes are one of the best parts of returning to the Square. :) It feels... nice to be missed.

Well, fauntastic... I've never been allowed to go trick-or-treating, so I went to the Penny Arcade on Halloween night with a bunch of friends. It's a fun place where you can do pretty much anything for a penny. :) We had a blast!

What did you do?

Destined!! It's so great to see you again. Of course we've missed you!

*waves even though she wasn't mentioned in Destined post.... at all* :-h Stick around, and post again soon!

Mortereve all! It's very wintry here today; we have almost a foot of snow and more falling! All the schools are out, so we're taking a snow day as well. I'm lovin' it!

Wow! :-o What state do you live in?! (if you don't mind saying, of course) That's amazing.

Ooh, and you like Kutless as well? :)

Happy belated birthday, eustacegirl.

*waves at Jojo* Hello, hello! 'Tis good to see you back in the Square. Oooh, and a very happy, happy first NarniaWeb anniversary to you! We love ya, and do come by more often!

And hullo to you, Anna! It has been awhile... good to see you again! Congratulations on getting a new laptop! What do you think of it so far?

Oooh, I love your graphics!

Whoa, Fanny... what a long post! ;)) Good to have you back.

Lady~Lucy!!! Wow. I haven't seen you around in ages. ;) Aww, what cute little kittens you have! :)

Oh, you got the H1N1 vaccine, Cep? I'm getting it tomorrow.

Hehe, what a festive Halloween greeting, fauntastic! I like it... as well as the square pumpkin. ;))

Wait... who's Delaney? :-?

Ouch. Sorry about your bike accident, Narnia Girl! At least you didn't get seriously hurt.

*trudges into the Square, sighing* The weekend's over, today's another day of school. Man, I'm being really grumpy.

That's how I often feel on Mondays, too. ;)) But cheer up, another weekend is just around the corner! :)

Nooo, don't spend that much time away!

Teehee.... that was my first thought when I read her statement. Then I realized that it was posted on October 31st... ;))

Congratulations on the 2000 youtube suscribers, Kitty. That's great!

I never had a boyfriend either! Welcome to the club!

Heh, me either... and I don’t plan to for a LONG while. ;)

Hey, Poggy! Sorry to hear about your internet.... Hopefully it'll be fixed soon. Good luck on NaNoWriMo! I've been hearing quite a bit about that lately. ;))

Ooh. It went crazy? How so? Beautiful avatar, by the way.
I loved that song by Kutless! Thank you for sharing.

Well... all these lines started criss-crossing the screen, and random things would appear in my files that I hadn't put there. #-o Ehh... it was just weird.

Thanks! I really like it as well, though I'll probably be changing it soon. I should probably get something with Narnia in it.

*highfives* He's my favorite Mr. Darcy, too. I'm glad you agree, since everyone seems to like Firth the best.

Oh, which Mr. Darcy is your favorite? (Sorry, I seemed to have missed this, and was just curious.)

Djaq! I'm so glad your dad got a job! That's great. And wow... congrats on your sister's twins-to-be!! That should be fun for you. :D

School's been going pretty well. I have quite a few homework assignments to catch up on after being sick, but I'll manage. :) What about you?

*peeps round the corner and tiptoes in* Hi everyone! I'm taking a short break from writing NaNo to get some refreshments, and decided to take the plunge and come in. (even though I don't quite understand what to do...) But I brought cookies and hot chocolate to share! Hopefully that makes it better, right?

Oh, you certainly made a good impression on me with those cookies and hot chocolate! ;)) I know I already "welcomed" you earlier, but... yes, we're delighted to have you around! :D You'll become one of us in no time.

Glad you had a... bearable dentist appointment, Narnia Girl. ;)) I'd hate to have a job like that.

Thanks for the comment on my avatar, GeorgieXOXOsmile! :) I like it as well. A hearty welcome to the Town Square! I hope you'll enjoy it here.

Thank you! So far it's been great :D

Glad to hear! :) What all did you guys do to celebrate? (Sorry if you already said... I've been skimming a LOT. )

Ahh, Cor... that's the joy of homeschooling. You can go at your own pace, get help whenever you need it, and get done early to have free time. :)

*waves to Pebbles*

Hehe, Joe... it sounds like you're enjoying your braces! That's good to know. I'm still waiting to get mine off.... ;))

Has anyone heard of the movie/play called "The best Christmas pagent every" cause our youth group is doing it and I got the part of Charlie... The geek it really quite a big part so I'm kinda happy

Haha.... YES! I've read it countless times. ;)) The book is so hilarious! Hehe, what an interesting play it should be. Who gets to be the Herdman kids? They'll have the fun parts. ;)) Be sure to tell me how it all goes!

*waves back to Nick* Yep, and here it is... /:)

Well..... tonight we went to a concert of the Vienna Boys Choir... anyone here ever heard of them? They are boys between ages ten and fourteen (who still have high voices) and are from all over the world--mainly European countries, though. It was so much fun, and so cute. ;))

Oof! And with that, I'm.... DONE! *collapses* I'm not sure just how long this post turned out to be, but my apologies to all. I have a rather large pile of homework awaiting, so I must depart. ;) G'mortereve to all, and to all a good night!

*stumbles sleepily out of the Square, carrying a drowsy little bundle along in her arms*

Adios, amigos!
