Mortereve everyone! :-h How fare you all this lovely Sunday? :)

Not much going on today. It's snowing again; our fourth snowfall already! :D
I took the ACT yesterday and it was definitely an interesting experience. ;) Easier than the SAT, I think--and not half so physically grueling--but we'll see when the scores come in. I'm glad it's behind me. :)

Ketchup!

Fanny, everything's going pretty well for me. :) Life's keeping me busy. ;) What have you been doing lately?

I don't like the 2007 version as much (I personally felt the quality was less than the 1995 one...) it's still not horrible and there's some good acting on Anne's part. :) But I love the 1995 one. :) Very much so. :)

Ditto to this! :) Although there are some things I really, really don't like in the 2007 version, it's not too bad. But there's no comparison with the 1995 adaption. ;)

I'm pretty sure I've heard that... and I agree with your assessment.

Yes indeed. :D I'm not really a big fan of either singer, but their duet is one of the most beautiful vocal performances I've heard. :)

I'm a little bit upset I never got the chance to answer it because you gave us the answer!

;)) Sorry! Next time I'll let you answer. :p

It's always been 101 Dalmatians, ever since I first saw the movie when I was a little little girl.

That's a good one! :) Hmm, my favorite is probably Beauty and the Beast. ;)

NG, I liked Toopka and Dar together for the most part. I was REALLY surprised when I first read it, but the way it was written ended up pretty convincing and cute. :) It did take a little time getting used to, though, especially since

Spoiler
I was used to seeing Toopka as a little girl and Dar as a grown man. ;)

Well... that would be a good threat. ;)) Did it work?

It worked very well for one, who never lost his retainer after that. ;) As for the other guy...I think he baked quite a few batches of brownies. ;))

Dell doesn't make a browser. And you can use any browser on any computer (pretty much). Anyway, I have a feeling it was Internet Explorer, since that's Microsoft's browser and comes with every Windows computer.

Oops! You're right, the browser was Internet Explorer. The homepage was Dell Business.

I be doing grand, thank thee ;) Thou hast gotten rest? ;) (haha, don't feel bad I do stuff like that all the time :P)

I hast, thankfully. ;)) (So do I, like looking frantically for your watch and then finding it on your wrist ;) )

Ahh, so you're a senior. Good luck getting everything done! My brother's doing all that right now, and I'm dreading next year when I'll have to :-s

*nods* Yup! :) Thanks; I'm really looking forward to graduation and college, but the requirements for getting there are rather intense right now. ;) Don't dread it too much; it's a very short season of life! And academically, senior year is nowhere near as hard as junior year. ;)

I drink my coffee with a bit of creamer and a little sugar. I can drink it without creamer, or without sugar, but not black. :p

Same here; just a bit of creamer. I actually like a natural sweetener called stevia (it's somewhat like agave, if you're familiar with that). Really, really good. ;)

Who was your favorite character in North and South? :) And if you ever find the time, do read the book! It's different from the miniseries in some ways, but there's some neat scenes and dialogue that weren't included in the script.

no I haven't got a kilt. Two reasons: a) They're really expensive. b) The only person in my family who could wear one would be my dad.

That's too bad! Hmm, yes, I rather forgot that your dad would be the only one to wear it. Tartan is just lovely; I love how each clan has their own pattern! :)

Still haven't been able to catch a Merlin episode though! They don't have them at my library :(

Could you find them on Youtube?

Hope your ankle heals quickly! :)

*waves to Benjamin*
How are you doing? :)

I'll be in for awhile! *finds a bench with her chai and book*

Ok. I do believe it's catchup time... I've been gone for 5 days or so... :p

Page 50:

Yay, a Catchup post from Kat!!

Kat: You know, it's funny... I talk about you somewhat to my family/friends, (Don't freak out--I don't talk about you incessantly. Just sometimes.) ;)) And one of my friends is always teasing me about it--just for fun. "Oh yeah--you and that one girl from youtube. You must be really close! You talk to her all the time." ;) Over-exagerating of course. ;)) I just think it's funny. :p
If my family ever meets yours (I know, doubtful) don't be surprised if the first thing my brothers say is "Oh yeah--you're that one girl from youtube who does the Tenth Avenue North covers..." Or something like that. :p

*laughs* I don't doubt that she's more amazing, she probably is more diligent and isn't so lazy with practicing like I usually am
AWWW! Duke is so adorable! I love the picture!

Merie is the one who talks about you like I said earlier. ;)) She thinks you're better. :p
(She could be more diligent--at least, she practices every week day I think. She kind of has to though. Otherwise she isn't allowed to email.) ;))
And thanks! Yep, Duke is pretty cute. :p ;) He's VERY energetic. He's always jumping on our cat/other dog. ;))

greenleaf: Hey! I'm doing well! Last weekend we made 350 gallons of apple cider or something. :p Don't know if I mentioned that earlier or not...

So are you going to just start writing and see where you go?

That's the plan. :p Though I did write out a short outline now. :D *is pleased* ;)

So, yeah, if you ever go again don't expect to see me rambling around in a NWeb t-shirt or something.

Hehe. ;)) Ok. Though that would be cool. ;) Do you actually own a N-web t-shirt? I don't... Kinda sad. ;))

I do hope that everything works (or has the party gone on already?) well, and that is terrific about getting to go with your friend- is that the Merie one you've talked about before?

Yes, almost everything went splendid!! We bowled, and my brother came along as well to bowl with his friend. This made me happy because... my brother is awesome. ;)) I actually won at bowling... 😮 With a score of 105, and I got two "strikes" so... that was kind of surprising. ;)) Some of them had a couple of skits prepared, which were pretty hilarious, and just hanging out with friends was altogether fun!! And yes, Merie was there, the friend of talked about many times. ;)) (That's actually not her real name--which you may already know.) ;)) But yeah. It was a success I'd say. ;) And a lot of fun. :D
Following that, we went to my Grandparent's house and celebrated 2 of my brothers' birthdays. And the next day we made the apple juice. It went very smoothly! And faster then previous years, I thought. :D Which is a good thing. ;)) And then today was Sunday. And that was great too. ;)) I love Sundays. :)
Anything new with you? :)

I'd suggest it, but I don't even know where to start making cider...haha.

;)) Well, you need a ton of apples and a press. ;)) It's kind of hard to talk while doing it though, because the press roars really loudly most of the time. While that happens I sing sometimes--that way no one can hear me. ;)

*Waves to Winter*

I'll Have to see it when it comes out on DVD..
Have you seen Monsters vs Aliens yet?
Thanks!

You should, it's great :D (but so are all the Disney/Pixar movies :P)
No, I haven't seen it yet. I'll probably see it eventually though, it looked pretty funny :P

Yeah Pixar is great!! It was funny! but there were parts that were not so funny... But a lot was really funny!

*waves back to Malkah* I,m doing great thanks And yourself?

No, I just started reading the Ranger's Apprentice series recently, Ben. I'm on book 3, The Icebound Land. :D I'm really enjoying it so far. I love Ranger's Apprentice.

Lol, yeah, greenleaf. :p I absolutely loved how Horace used the move that Gilan had taught him and crossed his knives to keep off Morgarath, or whatever he did. I forget. Anyway, I thought that was really cool.
Ouch! Hope your ankle feels better soon. :)

I know what you mean, malkah. It was pretty different seeing Toopka as a grown girl.
What other scenes did you like in the books? I should reread them again. I haven't read Dragonspell since July.
You got your fourth snowfall yesterday?! Wait a minute, that is not right! :p All we've been getting is rain...

Woot! Ketchup's done. :D/

Anyway...today is my little brother's 7th birthday! We're going to be busy today, that's why I got on so early. ;) First, we're going to meet our grandparents at Cracker Barrel for breakfast, then we're leaving for my piano lessons, then we're having lunch at my brother's favorite pizza place with some friends, then we're going bowling, then my sister and I have volleyball, then my little brother has a class, then we're going back home to have dinner and my brother's birthday cake, then my brother will open his presents. #:-s So. We're going to be quite busy. We'll be gone, like, all day.

Yesterday at church was so much fun! I was sitting with my best friend and her older brother during the service. I was wearing this red shirt with sparkles/glittery stuff all over it. It was so funny, because the sparkles kept coming off and getting on my hands, and whenever I stood up some of the sparkles fell off my shirt and onto the floor. My friend and her brother said I was like a red Tinker Bell. ;)) :p We were laughing so hard when the service was over.

Mortereve ya'll!

We won our playoff game :D 32 to nothing and I had 2 tackles :D we are going to the super bowl! However only one team stands in our way to the golden trophy; THE RIVAL TEAM! We have to play them in the super bowl and they have the best score against us yet 13 18 our win… that’s really bad though because a team we played beat them 18 13 and we beat that team 38 13… Anyways wish me luck.

NG… Tell your brother all his friends on NW said Happy B-Day NG’s little brother!

M vs A is really funny

Mortereve all! This will be a busy week. Last week was a bit busier, but I enjoyed every minute of it. I won't enjoy much of this week, and most of the busyness consists of things I'd rather not do. Ah well.

Michael Giacchino did it (he did The Incredibles too, but I don't really know what else he's done)

Yeah, he also did Ratatouille. That's neat that he did Up, too. :)

I love it :D Snowy days are great! Yeah, I hope so too. Unfortunately all we've had so far is rain...rain...more rain :P
Yeah, I've always wanted to make an Elf costume and go to one :P

Yeah, we've had a lot of rain around here, too, but then we got snow for a couple days. Since then it's been sunny and warm. Hopefully more snow soon!
Aw, that would be neat!

Oh, my bad then, I didn't realize that. I guess I was mixing up PCs with IBM :P

I don't know too much about early computers, but I guess Apple made the first personal computer, so they just claim they made the first of any kind. Something like that. Anyway, Apple has been around a lot longer than any Windows computer.

NN95, I used to pop my retainer out of my mouth all the time. My mom was always telling me not to do that, but, um...it became a bad habit.
Yeah, there were times when I forgot to put my retainer back in too. It's easy to forget about it. Braces are much easier.
Lucky you! I don't really mind braces - but it hurts when they put them in your mouth at the orthodontist's. That is really painful... But after that, it's not too bad, having to wear them and all.

Yep, yep, ditto.
Yeah, that's annoying when that happens. But, for me, the most trouble is when I try to talk everything comes out slurred and garbled.
Yeah, they are really painful for the first couple days after they're tightened, but then you don't even know they're there!

Wow. Yeah, I don't live up North. At all. We do get snow, though! Not till January, but snow none the less. Someone I know is going to Antartica.

Aw, that's too bad. But I'm glad you do get snow!! :D That's awesome that someone you know is going to Antarctica!

Blowing stuff up sounds so fun! I care if people look at me strangely!

Yes, it does sound fun. Oh, well I don't. ;))

I thought you might have. ;)) Seriosuly, though, some people don't get it. I don't know how they miss my sarcasm, but whatever.

Good thing I did. Yeah, some people are rather "dense" as they say. ;))

Oops! You're right, the browser was Internet Explorer. The homepage was Dell Business.

Ah yes, that makes sense. Yeah, a lot of times the homepage of the default browser will be set by default to the page of the company that makes the computer. That's always so annoying, but also so easy to change.

Joe, good luck in your football game! What position do you play? :)

Well, surprisingly not much to catch up on, today! Mort'reve all!

EDIT: Cool! I got the first and last post on this page. ;))

*pokes her head in a very favourite spot on the forum ... the Town Square!!!* :D :x

*Writes an SM for old times sake, too* Dajq! *Waves to anyone else who might be bold enough to write an SM*

Did you get the impression, Winter, that the SM method just didn't cut it like on the old forum. ;) *tries to find a colour to match*
Okay, how's this?? Nope, that doesn't do it either. I've tried a number of different colours, but I'm afraid that the SMs will possibly be *sniff* no more. Ah, but wait! It looks like it works when you quote someone (because the quote box is white) but as a non-quote it doesn't because of the non-whiteish background colour. Aha. Jo finally clues in, while rambling. :p

And for old time's sake I'm going to ...
dive in the Ditto Pool,
pick a chocolate (or 500) from the Chocolate Tree,
rub my hands by the roaring fire that Vern lit, cook s'mores,
ask PrinceCor to play some good ol' rock 'n roll on his geetar,
hope that Louise the First still stops by here,
see that NN/Aidan is still a faithful poster,
nab my Drool Bucket,
and send Vern a tray of all sorts of delicacies: shrimp, blackberries, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and mini squid.
YUM! Enjoy, dear Vern.

Then I'm going to invite all the Square Onions to gather 'round the fire whilst the Lady Amalthea tells us one of her magnificent tales ... that is, if she doesn't slip and fall into the fountain on the way in. ;))

So, how're y'all doing? :D

Good afternoon all you ladies and gents! Welcome to your third edition of the Ruby-Winter hour of utter insanity. Though, I fail to see the reasoning behind that title, because it really isn't an hour, but I guess the "utter insanity" part explains that. Anyway, the two young ladies should be joining us in a moment...

*looks around, but fails to see either Ruby or Winter...leaves stage, somewhat flustered*
*mutters* Where are those two girls?

*Whir, whir, whir* This is the sound of the Ruby-Winter private jet. *Putt, putt, putt* This is the sound of the Ruby-Winter private jet's engine giving out. *AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH* This is the sound of Winter bailing. *AAAIIEE! I'M GONNA DIE I'M GONNA DIE!!!!!* This is the sound of Ruby bailing. *Putt, hiss, SPLOOSH!* This is the sound of the Ruby-winter private jet falling into the Square Fountain. *Glub, glub, GULP!* This is the sound of the Ditto Town Platapus, eating the Ruby-Winter private jet. *Winter leans over the edge of the fountain*

*Ruby proceeds to untangle herself from her parachute*

Ruby: That was our only private jet!

Winter: *Shhh!* They didn't need to know that! By the way, do you need a hand untangling yourself?

*Rolls eyes* I thought you had it under control? *Helps Ruby up*

Ruby: Thanks, Winty! *looks into fountain* Well, it looks like we'll be stuck here for a while...thanks to someone's *cough* flying skills.

Whatever. I still insist we weren't going fast enough.

*cough* Right. Well, I guess that's what we get for trying to perform a "stunning" air show for the citizens of Ditto Town.

Winter: Whatev. It would've worked just fine if you hadn't fiddled with the controls! Anyhow, I'm hungry are you hungry?

Ruby-Winter spin on the spot and disapear showering the Town Square in glowing, ruby red, snowflakes.

And that sums up our show for today! Good afternoon to you all and God bless!

*Wanders back into square singing Sea of Faces by Kutless*

While I'm at it, I'll make a catch-up post. *grins* After all, it has been a million ages...

Hey, nothing wrong with a hug!! *gives one back*

True. *HUGS How are you doing, flam?

*waves back to Ruby* I'm doing very well, just busy! And you?

Ruby! Lol, yeah, you can call me Girlee if you want.

Yay!! *hugs Girlee* How has everything been going? I've been out of it for what?...five? no, six pages?

Ruby! I'm sorry your plans were changed, but I am glad you still had a good time.

Thanks FF!! It was so much fun spending a weekend with family and friends. How have you been doing? I trust you're still in good health.

I'm doing quite well, thank you! NN95 is off doing homework, but I'm procrastinating here on NarniaWeb. Double N is peering over my shoulder. Quite disturbing.

Glad to hear Ruby and Erubadhriel are both doing well, too!

Oh! I hate it when people read over my shoulder...especially when they start breathing down my neck. Anyway, Ruby's off in la-la land and I'm here on NarniaWeb.

If you're wondering about Erubadhriel, I've decided that she's the genius part of me which I haven't quite discovered yet, hence that explains why she's always missing...

*sends a back in the direction of Ruby (or are you going by "Dani" now?)* It has been awhile. Sorry to hear your camping trip didn't work out.. but at least you got to visit your friends!

*sigh* And now it's been another long while, thanks to me. :( Glad to be back on though!!! Love ya Miss Rosario!!! Oh, and I go by both. It doesn't really matter. :P

Rani! (combination of two of your personalities/sides of you ;) ) *hugs back* Thank you! :) Things are going really well here! School is going well, the trees are beautiful, and the weather is lovely! How about you?

Haha!! I like it!! :p :) So good to hear that everything is going well. :) Ah! The trees are beautiful here as well!! I think they're showing a lot more color due to all the rain we got this summer. :) Schoolwork has been eating my time away. Speaking of which, I have a pile of homework awaiting, so I need to hurry up with this post...

Kat! Good to see you on here! It's been forever. Though, I guess I shouldn't say anything when I'm worse than you about keeping caught up with the square... :p

It's pretty different from the rest of their stuff, but I still love it! And their singles are amazing so I hope you're enjoying those I'm so glad you're getting into Relient K! They are definitely my fav band next to Tenth Ave.

I'm getting into a lot of bands right now and I'm really upset, because all my favorite artists decided to release new albums all at the same time and I don't have money enough to buy all of them!!! I'm trying to get the Sanctus Real album right now. Have you heard their song "Forgiven"?? It's really amazing. :)

And MissR!!! Was it Miss R? I'm pretty sure it was. Weren't you the one who posted the lyrics to the song by Kutless? Well, if you did, that song is one of my favorites!! It really is inspiring. I know you posted it a while ago, but I must have missed it and I just noticed it recently. :P

*waves back* glad you had a good time camping! haha, I good way to get out of sleeping on the ground

It's been a while since I "saw" you, leafy. How is everything? Yeah, I was real happy about it. :) Though I felt kind of bad for my brothers... :p

Meltintalle, I love the quote in your signature. What/who is it from? It sounds really familiar...

Benjamin!! That is so cool about your sister!! I bet you're really excited about the soon-to-be-born baby! :)

*wishes one of her sisters would hurry up and get married*
It's been too long since this house had a baby in it... *sigh*

AAAHHH! *Winter falls over* Cool! I was curious as to why you chose Kate, especially since we despise her.

I was trying to figure out the same thing myself...I guess I just felt like changing my avatar and couldn't think of anything better. Pathetic, right? ;)

*Sends a HUG to johobbit*

Well, I need to be off now!! I have a lot of homework to do...

God bless!

I'm happy to announce that things on this side of the screen have been going pleasantly, for the most part. :) School's finally fitting into the normal lifestyle, and I can't wait for this Saturday and Sunday. Saturday, we're visiting ericnovak and we get to meet his sisters, which I'm very excited about. And Sunday, is November 1, so NaNoWriMo begins! :D

I suppose I should catchup? Ehhh. I'm really not feeling up to it right now, so I think I'm going to leave the catchup I'm supposed to do...forever. *gasps sharply/melodramatically* But, I came to say hi and that I'll probably be coming in more frequently to prevent catchup buildup. (I make it sound like teeth plaque or something! 8-}

Ruby and Winter, I really, really enjoyed that Ruby-Winter post!

Well, tengo prisa; hasta luego! ;) Well, not quite. I'll be around. (And, yes, I did that by memory. Spanish has been going great since we're doing something apart from Rosetta Stone that teaches grammer, vocabulary, and basic conversations. :D )

I need to make a birthday card for one of my friends

When do/did you need it by? I suggest... a picture of... Cor and Corin. And then it can say "Happy birthday" twice or something. I know I'd like to get a card with Fledge on it. Or maybe a picture of Aslan roaring, and you could use the phrase coracle likes so much: Blessings and Roars.

And yes, that was the avatar I saw! It's very nice. :)

I also thought it was pretty cool how Evanlyn ended up being Princess Cassandra,

I thought it was pretty cool too... because that happens to be my name. She even has the same nickname as me. [/random]

Malkah: I really like listening to the song Placido Domingo did for the soundtrack of Hamlet. And while I don't think I'd call myself a fan, I don't mind listening to Josh Groban.
This is a secret secret message
Hi jo! Welcome back! You might try #F4E7C4 for secret messages. ;)

*has a good laugh at the Ruby-Winter private jet accident* Of course, it probably wouldn't be funny if y'all weren't okay, but as it is... (And I bet that there's a good Square mechanic somewhere who can get it running--er, flying--again.)

Ruby Erubadhriel, I found the quote in J. M. Barrie's book The Little Minister. Have you read it? (You can see Barrie's name at the bottom of my sig if you squint and know that that's what the squigglies say. B-) ) And doesn't it go nicely with my P&P avatar? :D

Okay Mel I'll try that number. Is it working? *goes to check* That's certainly a lot closer! In fact, I believe it's a match! Wow, thanks. :D

*waves cheerily to Ruby and Winter and, uh, Ruby* ;))
