k with Halt and Will, so I can't wait to get to that one
Hey Ben! *waves* How have you been doing? That's cool you get to visit your nephew :]
I've been doing great! And you? Yeah its been fun! What have you been up to lately? anything fun?

Team Hoodie!!
Mortereve, all! For the next two weeks, we're having testing during the mornings at school. So, not as much homework, which means I can squeeze in a little time for a catchup post.
*sigh*
Hehe, Pebbles, what a prank to play on your sister! You must have had fun. ("Poo-head"? *chuckles* Perhaps this can become a new nickname for you!)
Yep, Narnia Girl, it was.... very much indeed. Certain areas of your body become rather sore after sitting on a bicycle seat for over an hour.
You didn't get Columbus Day off, Bella? Aww, that's too bad. I never got it off when I was homeschooled, though; we just took our holidays whenever they were needed.
Ahh, I see. Well, Lazarus IS quite helpful. Glad you've been enjoying it!
Ohhh…. You’re on The Lion’s Call? Out of curiosity, what is your username?
*is using FireFox at the moment, and thinks that its absolutely lovely.*
Oh, yes! Just what I like to hear.
Cor!!!! Thank you for the... rather enthusiastic welcome. I've definitely missed you and Vern as well. Glad to hear school's been going well for you! I've really been enjoying it, too, so far. It's... lots of work, that's for sure, but the kids are all so neat and make the place special.
How have you been?
*waves to Rising_Star* I don't think we've ever "officially" met, though I've seen you about the forum. You can call me "Rose", "Miss R", or anything else--decent-- that comes to mind.
Hope you have a fantastic time at disneyland, Fauntastic! I went there once, but I don't remember too much of the trip (I was around six or seven). Have a great time, and take lots of pictures!
Rosa!!!!!!!! Do come by more often!
I'll try. I definitely miss the regular visits to the Square!
Yes, hopefully they'll actually be coming off in November. The orthodontist seems to change his mind regularly. ("Well, you should be getting your braces off at the next appointment! How does that sound?"--- "Well, I guess we'll be waiting a few more months. But they'll definitely be off soon!") Yeah....
How have you been? School going well?
Oh, you're reading Jane Eyre, Edmund P? What do you think of it so far?
Thanks, I'll try not to. It's SO crazy, though. (I love that emoticon!) For the next two weeks, though, we don't have any homework, because of testing.
By the way, Cor, I love all your batman avatars! Very cool.
Hey-ho indeed, Betsie! A forty-three page catchup post? Oof, I'm sorry.
Hey-Ho, Everyone! Would you believe it? Betsie is doing The Catch Up Post That Consists of Forty Three Pages And Is Looked For By *counts* *tallies* *recounts* *tallies a second time* *adds* *divides by population of Narnia* *admires a few imaginary houses on an imaginary street that she went down to see if she could find a certain learned mathematician's dwelling to consult him on these numbers* *clears throat* One Person.
Oh my... *chuckles* Your sense of humor reminds me quite a bit of Lady A.
And.. I hear you had a birthday. Hope you have a splendid new year!
Yeah, well, now it's down to the 40s and 50s, and I'm still wearing short sleeves.
Huh? Whatever for!? Wow, you are insane... *shivers*
So, girls generally have really small pockets? Well, they make up for it with huge purses....
*nods* So true, so true...
Me? What makes you think I got Bella to download Firefox?
Hm, I wonder....
Pumpkin cream cheese, Ella? Hm, I've never heard of that before. Does it taste anything like.... actual pumpkin?
Oh, you're taking Spanish? I'm glad to hear that's going well. I'm taking it this year as well. *sigh* It's.... well, to be blunt, going very badly.
Ahh.... stargazer, you have snow? *wishful sigh* I love snow, though no one else in my family looks forward to it as much as I do. The weatherman has been predicting it for about a week, but it hasn't come yet.
*waves to malkah* Hello! I'm not sure if we've met, but I don't believe so. Good to see you around!
You're writing a World War II novel, Joe? Cool! What's the story line? World War II is one of my favorite areas of history... it's so interesting, though sad at the same time. I love reading books and diaries written about (or during) that period of time.
Oh, and I just realized something interesting... you joined NarniaWeb on May 28, 2008--the same day I did.
Cool flag! Very creative.
Rosa!!! It's lovely to see you again!
Congratulations about getting your braces off in November! Are you looking forward to it?
Good to see you, too! How have you been lately?
Ohhh... they can't be off too soon! I've been waiting for their removal for... goodness knows how long.
Thank you so much for the link, Pon! I haven't read all of your book yet, but I'm working on it. So far, however, I've been enjoying it. The plot seems good, and I can't think of too many suggestions (only a few grammatical details, wording, and stuff like that). Very good work, indeed!
Have fun camping, Ti'ana!
*skimming.... but has the ominous feeling that this is rapidly becoming a long, tired, and dragged-out post*
Man my brain is going! I posted this in an entirely wrong thread.
Heh, I've done that before. One time I posted an enormous catchup post in the "Hair and Eye Color Thread". Very embarrassing.
You're reading Persuasion, Djaq? Ooh! What do you think of it? I read it last year and absolutely loved it. The ending's really sweet.
Aw, Queen Susan, I'm sorry things haven't been working out too well for you lately. I know how that goes. *hugs*
Djaq! What have you been up to lately? Great to see that you've managed to keep up with the forum, unlike some other people around here. *looks guilty*
*seconds the guilty look...*
It's good to see you again, Ruby!
Wow, Fanny... I love your avatar! Very lovely!
Heh, Poggy, our computer quit working, too, but we continued to use it. Maybe that's why it went so crazy at the end....
Aw, you have a cold? I'm sorry... get well soon!
Wow, Djaq... what a long night! I'd probably fall asleep half-way through. How many kids were you and flam babysitting?
*waves to Greenleaf* 'Ello, there! We've missed you, too. (Yep, catchup posts do swallow up a ton of time. *sigh*)
I like the color of your post! Very warm and fall-like.
So yes, life has been busy in the Rosario household. Busy and good. Last week, we found two coats for me at decent prices: a regular winter one, and a dressier one for church. They both are so nice. *happy sigh*
The weather has been nice as well--crisp and fall-like. Last week was freezing, but the next several days are supposed to be somewhere near the 60's. The roads are lined with red, orange, yellow, and green- leafed trees. I love this time of year.
No snow yet... it's been predicted, but we'll see whether or not it actually decides to show up. Amazingly, I'm looking... forward to it. Every year when it comes, it brings an old, familiar feeling with it... the wintery, cozy, Christmas feel. It always makes me happy.
All right... I'm DONE!!! *recovers* I'm afraid this post is shorter than the time it took me to type it out (as is often the case). Now I'm off to study for my two tests tomorrow, the two tests on Wednesday, and-- yeah. Yeck. Mortereve, all!
P.S.
Recently I heard this Song, "What Faith Can Do" on the radio, and found it to be really inspiring. I thought I'd share the lyrics with you, if you don't mind.
"Everybody falls sometimes
Gotta find the strength to rise
From the ashes and make a new beginning
Anyone can feel the ache
You think it’s more than you can take
But you are stronger, stronger than you know
Don’t you give up now
The sun will soon be shining
You gotta face the clouds
To find the silver lining
I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
And I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do
It doesn’t matter what you’ve heard
Impossible is not a word
It’s just a reason for someone not to try
Everybody’s scared to death
When they decide to take that step
Out on the water
It’ll be alright
Life is so much more
Than what your eyes are seeing
You will find your way
If you keep believing
I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
And I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do
Overcome the odds
You don't have a chance
(That’s what faith can do)
When the world says you can’t
It’ll tell you that you can!
I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
And I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do
That's what faith can do!
Even if you fall sometimes
You will have the strength to rise"
So, there you are. To experience the full beauty of the message, listen to a recording of it. I did, and it blew me away.
Anywayy.... here's little miss Rose again, talking when she should be long gone. *sigh* Good evening to you all!

Good Mortereve everyone! I hope everyone is having a good Sunday! For the most part I have been- my Mom and Sister have been away all day with another friend at a horsemanship clinic/lesson thing, so it's been interesting (in a quiet sense) not to have them around...and stuff.
Aiden: Thanks! I don't mind quoting people, although I do wish I knew the "proper" way. Meaning, I know the quote tags, but how does one get the username of whom you're quoting up there? On the old forum all you had to do was type in
(removing the spaces, of course) and their name would show up... (does that make any sense?) On this new forum you can't do that...
Anyways! How are things going for you?
Winter Star: I'm glad to hear it! (Well, about it being relaxed, not the coffee. )
Queen Susan: I can always send you some snow around March...by then we're usually tired of it up here. Do you generally get much snow down where you live, or no?
Thank you dear! Yup, I know the feeling! Especially when it's something like stomach flu...
Thanks! Yes- I love "odd" things like that. Well, they're not really odd per se, but just "odd" because I suppose some teens now a days wouldn't even dream of reading that kind of thing, let alone, eh, relishing in it.
How did it go with the family coming over? I hope all went well and you had a pleasant time with the other girl.
Cor: I'm glad I was original then. Ahem, or something like that. How are you?
Narnia Girl: Hehe! I can understand that, it is hard to pick a favourite, and even then, when they switch around often, I think it's okay. Perhaps the messages in that particular Narnia book are the ones that speak to your heart particularly in some area...I have lots of "theme" songs, and get new ones every few months. On looking back, I see that the one I had in January was closely related to what was happening in my life then, and when circumstances changed, the theme songs changed too.... so it's not bad or anything.
How are things with you? What have you been reading lately?
JoJo: Lovely blog!
Oh splendid! That is really really good news about the sessions going better- praise the Lord! I'll continue to pray of course!
Djaq: I hope you'll be able to volunteer there again in January- all in all, was it a good experience for you?
Ah, glad to hear that! (That you're surviving from school, particularly!) It's going pretty good for me- I've had a bit of a break -some of the curriculum I'm doing is on the computer, and the program is only installed on my computer and my brother's (legally we can only have it on two computers, I think), and my computer is still waiting for us to bring it home. It was broken, so it had to get fixed. Anyways...so I've had another half hour/full hour of "spare" time a day, so that's been kind of nice.
Oh good! Do you have any favourite characters so far? What part are you at?
Ella: It'd sure be fun to have a book tree nearby, would it not? I've read the Anne series several times, although not in the near past or anything. It's a good series, so I hope you're able to read it!
*waves to all new and returning SquareOnions* Great to see you all around!
Miss Rosario: Thank you! Great to see you too around again -I'll have to find that song! Do you know who sings it?
Well, I should be off. Cheers all!
Dear days of old, with the faces in the firelight,
Kind folks of old, you come again no more.

catch-up skimmed from page 43 on:
FF, I think your book sounds really interesting! I'd love to read it when you're done.
Do you know that "many happy returns of the day" is one of my very favorite sentences?
I do now, though it doesn't really surprise me. You seem like a person who'd like that sort of turn of the phrase.
I'm sure you did have a witty reply, and you can consider this a witty reply to your witty reply.
Meany.
Eh... this is not really the image I want. First I'm scary, now I'm mean! (Not all those tears are sad, though. Some of them are tears from laughing at the Betsie in the nursing home story. But they wanted to stick together.)
Poggy, thanks for the link! Now I don't have to 'cheat' when I write upside down. And yes, it was rather time consuming, but you used a nice variety of letters in your statement and that made it easier.
I hope that a lot of people participate [in the FA writing contest].
I want to, but I can't think of a story...
Jojo, I believe you asked a while back what colour the bridesmaids dresses are going to be... I finally got to see the sample. It's a gorgeous jewel-like blue. And I like sewing, so yes, it'll be quite fun.
*waves to Greenleaf* It's nice to see you again! Yep, the flashback is book 7, and that must be the next one to come out here!
I went to the circus on Friday. It was very, very, very, very, very exciting. It was the first time I'd ever seen a circus! And the acrobats were amazing and I want to write about acrobats in my NaNo story now... Did y'all know that elephants can do hand stands and tigers can walk a tightrope? I didn't, but now I do!

Guess who's baaaack!!!! (Anyone? Anyone? C'mon, it's not too hard...)
So I'm back from my trip to Disneyland! I had a great time, I got to meet up with some guys that I met at a church camp a year and a half ago, and it was so nice to see them again. Hopefully we will stay in touch from now on, because I've really been missing being with them and being at Disneyland!
I would have posted sooner, but yesterday something awful happened to me. I was driving out of my neighborhood, turning left onto a major street, while a blue minivan was in the middle lane. The minivan was switching to the left lane, but I didn't see so as I'm pulling into the middle lane...BOOM. We collided. NO ONE WAS HURT (except the cars), but I feel really horrible. Like all of this could have been avoided if I would have been more careful. The worst thing is that the person I hit was a girl in my church group...
To say the least, I think I might be very frightened of left turns from now on.
But lets get started on that catchup...
Hello AitB! Glad to hear you are well! Disneyland was a blast, and I'm sad to be home. And sad that I have to go to school tomorrow...
But no, I'm sorry I'm not on The Lion's Call! I have a friend who is though.
*waves to ceppault* Wow, I didn't know you also were in AZ! I like it a lot here, because winter is very nice. But Colorado is a very pretty state too, so if you do end up moving, I wish you the best of luck! And I hope you and your wife had fun in Disneyland
Hehe, CS, I'm pretty sure Bella said something to me about you two being sisters But it's nice to meet you, and I'm doing fine, although I've been better. I hope you are well?
*high fives QS* How're you?
Thank you NG! I did have fun there, although I can't see how someone could not, it IS the happiest place on Earth!
I am just fine PrinceCor. What have you been up to lately?
You know, we had someone visit us here in the North during the summer that was from Arizona. He said that he much preferred Arizona's 100-degree weather over our 80-degree weather, because here the air is really humid and that makes the heat unbearable.
Wow, I've never been somewhere where it is that humid...but I've heard that 80 degrees in a place that is very humid feels just about the same as 100 degreese where it's very dry. Personally, I like dry weather
FF, actually it's not a college thing. I mean, some colleges might have an October Break, I don't know. But I'm still in High School But thank you, I had a lot of fun at Disneyland!
And I love getting together with cousins! I don't see my relatives as much as I'd like, everyone is too busy and lives too far away. I remember being younger and hating how me and my cousins were always forced to eat at the kids table while the adults got to talk at the big tabel, but I don't really mind it anymore. We have more fun than they do at our table
Yay for Edmund P, we'll be iPod twins now! I did get the voice control, and I never even thought about doing the British Voice thing...-giggles- I'm getting my iPod now to change it! What an awesome idea, thanks! (Hopefully you don't mind me stealing it)
Hello. I am writing to you from my nursing home. I have had a very enjoyable and busy time here. These places are dull, you know. But I planned ahead. I brought a bunch of knitting. And back when I was a kid, I promised to do something when I got old. Something that would take a whole year to do. And look! I'm the happiest and busiest person here! (Not The Happiest. That's a guy who is totally off his rocker on the other wing. Everyone envies him. Not The Busiest. That's a crabby nurse who doesn't have any time. But I am The Happiest And Busiest!)
Wow, is this a response from the future? What's it like then? Is time traveling fun? Well, I'm glad you are the Happiest AND busiest person, I guess it was very smart to not respond for years and years just so when you were very old you would be very happy and busy. Maybe I should start procrastinating something until I am old and in a nursing home, so that I will be a very happy and Busy person too!
Your response had me laughing out loud! xDD
Thank you malkah, I had a great time!
I can't wait til my sister is old enough to be less changeable. I think we might get along more, haha.
Nice! Ah, I have a semi-big family, so it's a bit difficult.
I always kinda wish I had a big family, life would be very interesting. And different. But I was only given one sister, so I'll just have to deal with her! Haha, only joking, I love her to pieces. Even if she can be more irritating than a buzzing fly.
NG, I can spend hours in Borders! And many more hours in Costco...that place is so huge! xD
Anyways, sorry if I skimmed over you! I was doing this VERY quickly. It's nice to be back!
---------------------------------------------
EDIT: Meltintalle, how exciting that you got to go to the circus! The last time I saw a circus was when I was seven. But I enjoyed it very much!
And how neat to hear that so many people on this board are doing NaNoWriMo!! I would just love to do something like that, but maybe when I have more time I will. (:

Good mortereve, all! It's been very chilly (or perhaps I should say cold) here for the past week! And the worst part is that it's been raining and cloudy too ! Quite dreary weather. This might be my last post in the Town Square for the next week...I'm going on vacation for a few days . Oh, and I nearly forgot, I have finished Jane Eyre ! Ah, 'twas a wonderful book! But to understand it better I should probably read it again. Not any time soon though! And just to clear up something, I have decided to wait for the 4th generation iPod Touch with a camera. Anywho, it's time for a CATCHUP!
Have you bought that laptop already then?
And how about that CD you need??? You know--"Awake".
I've scratched the iPod and the Laptop...for now. But some exciting news. I'm getting Awake this week .
Well... just because I don't know you that well. I'm curious that way.
Well, that is true.
I really enjoyed watching the video blog, Edmund P!
Thanks, malkah !
Thanks! We're doing much better now, and hopefully we'll be immune to the virus for the rest of the winter.
That's good. Yes, I hope you all don't get it again !
Gracias. ¿Y cómo está usted?
Ah, veo ahora. No, sólo tomo español. ¿Y... acerca de qué quiere usted hablar ahora? Sí, los traductores no trabajan bien
Hago muy bien. Gracias.
¿Sólo español? Yo también. ¡Yo amaría tomar el francés aunque !
That sounds good! I'm getting busier lately. I've been doing more school, practicing the piano a LOT, talking , and various other things.
Aw, that doesn't sound fun. You can still have some though.
Yes, I suppose I could have a few pieces...as long as they don't have any caramel in it .
Edmund P: How exciting about Pinnacle! What version is it?
Aw, that's too bad about not being able to do NaNo, very disappointing! I'll pray that your back feels better- is it still painful?
It is version 11...a few years old. But I'm afraid that it didn't install. Some problem occurred .
Yes, it is too bad . Well, actually my back has been doing really well for the past week! Last Sunday was awful though! PAINFUL. Thanks for the prayers .
Wow, narnianerd! That sounds like a very strange dream. And, I'm curious, did only one part of the sun break up? Or all three pieces? The reason I'm wondering is because it says in Revelation that one third of the sun will be darkened during the Tribulation...
But, no God doesn't give humans visions any more, like he used to in Bible times. Dreams, nowadays, are just our minds sorting things out. You can have any sort of dream imaginable, but none of them are a "vision of the future" or other such nonsense.
I would not be so sure of that, my friend. A lady from our church was speaking with our pastor and she said that while she was praying, Angels appeared to her. And it also says in the Bible that when the End draws nigh, Old men will dream dreams and young men will see visions. So, having said that, I do think that God will give 'visions of the future to men' when the Time is near.
*Waves to Jojo* How are you ?!
Hey, that's really cool! Though I'm glad you did it, because I hate math with a burning passion. It's my least liked/most despised subject.
You hate math ?! How unfortunate .
Yay for Edmund P, we'll be iPod twins now! I did get the voice control, and I never even thought about doing the British Voice thing...-giggles- I'm getting my iPod now to change it! What an awesome idea, thanks! (Hopefully you don't mind me stealing it)
I'm afraid I actually won't be getting a new iTouch for a little while. I want to wait for the 4th generation with a camera and such . Cool! Does it talk to you in British now?
Oh, you're reading Jane Eyre, Edmund P? What do you think of it so far?
I now have read Jane Eyre. It was brilliant. A very well written book .
I'm done! Sorry if I missed anybody. I might be back here tomorrow. Sorry for no color ! Have a great mortereve everyone!
I met Georgie and Skandar AND saw the film in one evening.
Mortereve all!
Yes, I have, greenleaf. Evanlyn is a really interesting character. I like her pretty well. *gasps* Will's not an apprentice anymore? Wow. Well, this book with the flashback sounds pretty cool.
Haha, I know how that is, Miss Rose. We went on a bike trail with some friends back in September, and I was sore all over when we were done.
Wow! "What Faith Can Do" is a beautiful song. The lyrics are really cool.
I see what you mean, FF. You're probably right...when I think about it, my favorite Narnia book back in June was kinda related to what was going on in my life then...
Me? Well, I've been wishing that we'd get snow instead of all this rain we're getting. And I'm working on reading the Ranger's Apprentice series.
Mel, wow the circus sounds like fun! I didn't know that elephants could do hand stands. That's kinda...weird. They're probably better at hand stands than me.
I'm glad you had fun Syd! You're so lucky that you got to go to Disneyland. I bet it was really exciting.
Hehe, yeah. Costco IS huge. They have so many different things.
EP, have fun on vacation!
What's the difference between and iPod and an iPod Touch anyway? (Sorry, I hardly know anything about iPods in the first place. )
Well, looks like ketchup is done already. Anyway...yesterday after church we went to our grandparents' for lunch. It was so much fun, and today...we're going to the library! (Is anyone surprised? ) We have piano lessons and volleyball today, and we're going to the library as well.
Have a lovely mortereve, all!

Mortereve all! We got a lot of snow yesterday! Yay! Unfortunately, not much of it stuck anywhere. However, I did throw my first snowball of the year!
Heh, I can relate. Errm, no can't talk Spanish with Bella yet, but I did get 100% on my Spanish test today.
Aw, that's too bad. Hey, that's great! Good for you. What was it covering?
Oof, every day? Sounds pretty frustrating. Hehe, Lazarus is really a life-saver, or... post-saver.
Ohhh, I see. Splendifurous. It has a nice ring to it.
Just about... back when my computer would just shut down whenever it felt like it. 😐 Yes, Lazarus is a post-saver and a life-saver!
Yep. Yeah, it does have a neat ring to it. I didn't make it up, of course. I'm sure I heard it from Jojo first.
NN95! You are so lucky that it snowed! First my best friend gets snow where she lives on the mountains, then my grandparents, who live a few hours away, get snow, then Jojo does, now you...
Hehe, we're all so privileged. Hope you get some soon.
I'll bet!!! And I can see where you'd stick with it because everyone is used to it.
Yeah, it was actually quite funny.
Yep, I've known other people that had one for a while and then switched, and it was really hard to recognize them.
SNOW?! In October??? We don't get snow till November and then it's only a light dusting. Real snow doesn't come till January! Where do you live, Antarctica? (Don't answer that, I was being sarcastic!)
Yep, and look at the top of my post, we got a lot more yesterday. I don't quite live in Antarctica (though I'd love to go there sometime), but I do live up in the North where we get a ton of snow!
I'm confused, now. I said: "I do want to blow something up very much" Where does the "not" fit in? Yes, crushing things is fun! Except for when people give you strange looks 'cause of it.
I thought surely you said that you did not want to blow something up. Either you wrote it wrong or I read it wrong. Anyway... yes, I want to blow something up, too! Eh, who cares if someone looks strangely at you.
Thanks, Aiden. (Not) I can assure you the feeling is mutual.
Lol!
Yes, I was being sarcastic. I'm a very sarcastic person.
Yeah, I'd kinda figured that out.
"Ouch!" To quote my favorite nut. Kinda double-crossed myself there, didn't I.
Lol! So you "got a taste of your own medicine", as they say, eh?
I'm not sure if my script was "good for the mind." It was actually three pages of pretty lousy writing. It was the plot that was out of this world. If only I could getting the action and dialogue to match...
I think any writing is good for the mind. Besides, I'm sure it was better than you think it was.
It's possible that I might one day write for a living. But right now I view it as a sort of hobbie. I hoped to be able to do all the aspects of the film process, so I'm not just looking at script writing.
Ah, so you're more of a film person than specifically writing? Well, I have to agree with you, there. There are several parts of movie-making that I think I'd really enjoy.
greanleaf!! It's been too long since you've been in here!
I can't believe you already got snow NN95! That's awesome
Yeah, I'm so happy!
(many thanks to everyone who said about re-reading starting on September 22nd, it's been awesome )
What's the significance of that?
W.o.w. That's a long post, Rosa! Anyway, good to see you drop by, and I'm glad that you'll be able to come by for the next two weeks, since there's less homework. What's this testing that you'll be having at school?
Good! Well, we miss your visits to the Square!
No way, that's exactly how my orthodontist is! Like, word for word he's probably said that exact same thing. Anyway, my braces really are off. I've had a plastic temporary retainer (so annoying!) for the past two weeks, but tomorrow I'm getting a regular retainer. Hopefully I won't have that for too long...
I'm good, thanks. Yep, school's just fine. How about you?
Huh? Whatever for!? Wow, you are insane... *shivers*
Come on, I thought you were a cold-weather person, too! Just kidding, enjoying cold weather and wearing short sleeves in 40-degree weather are two different things. I have to admit, it has been a little cold for me lately, so I've had on a light jacket. But, seriously, other times when people are freezing I'm perfectly warm. It's quite funny.
Hm, I wonder....
Lol, so do I....
I've been waiting for [my braces'] removal for... goodness knows how long.
Maybe since you got them on?
Aiden: Thanks! I don't mind quoting people, although I do wish I knew the "proper" way. Meaning, I know the quote tags, but how does one get the username of whom you're quoting up there? On the old forum all you had to do was type in
(removing the spaces, of course) and their name would show up... (does that make any sense?) On this new forum you can't do that...
Anyways! How are things going for you?
Oh ok, well as long as you don't mind it's ok. A lot of people just don't like quoting. *cough I'm not one of them cough* Anyway, the code is [ quote="So and So" ] [ / quote ] putting apostrophes around the name of the quotee ( ). Kinda annoying but easy to get used to.
Things are going just fine, thanks! How about for you?
Syd, welcome back! Glad to hear you had a great time at Disneyland!
Wow, I've never been somewhere where it is that humid...but I've heard that 80 degrees in a place that is very humid feels just about the same as 100 degreese where it's very dry. Personally, I like dry weather
According to that person from Arizona, humid 80-degree weather is worse than dry 100-degree weather. And, a friend of mine from around here went to Arizona during the summer and hardly noticed the heat at all. Anyway, yeah, if it has to be hot, then dry heat is the best. I don't know if I've ever been in dry heat, though. However, cold weather is better than any kind of hot weather!
Have fun on vacation, Edmund!!
Hago muy bien. Gracias.

Sí, sólo español. Sí, usted me dijo que usted va a tomar francés. Proximo año, ¿verdad? ¡Espero que le gusta!
During Bible times and during the End times, it's understandable that God will send visions to people. But, like I said, I don't believe that God sends visions any more. As for the angles that the lady at your church saw... who knows what caused that, but I don't believe God sent them. I'm not sure if the Bible says anything about this issue, but if not, it's not something to be dogmatic about.
What's the difference between and iPod and an iPod Touch anyway?
Well, iPod is just the general name for the MP3 players that Apple makes. But there are many different kinds of iPods (for example, iPod Nano, iPod Shuffle, iPod Touch, etc.). Does that clear it up?
Second post of the day again! I'm making a regular habit of this. Mort'reve all!

Liln, oh Liln of this Town Square,
You must soon a post please spare!
I realize how filled with books,
Your life and schedule now does look,
But won't you come and say hello?
And bring perhaps a bite of jello?
*Hearing a faint calling of her name, LL wanders back to a place she loves to visit. Pulling a cart behind her, it bears a ginormous Jello Jiggler made in the shape of a. . . square onion? Declaring every onion layer to be a different flavor, so everyone should like some part of it, Liln begins cutting the sculpture and serving it to her fellow Square Onions*
Mortereve, all!!!!
I miss being in here, but I've had so little time these past couple of weeks. My life has been overflowing with tests, quizzes, classes, all those little bumps and notches on your bones and their names, 10 billion muscles' action(s), swim practices and meets, and just life in general. I have three tests just this week, so I'm not sure when I'll be able to pop in again. Plus, I'm trying to get all my stuff together for admission into the nursing program, so that's been fun. . . and hectic; I want to get it done before Thanksgiving (which equals all classes suddenly going crazy with deadlines) so that's been time consuming.
I do try to keep up with y'all in here and stay a little aware of your lives, but I'm not always up to posting replies and such.
Hugs to all! Take care and God bless!

Ultimate is a waste of your time, IMHO.
Ok. *laugh*
So what's new with you?
QS, what do you plan to do with your "extra" year? What kind of math are you doing this year? I'm doing Geometry, which I'm catching on to better than I'd expected.
Well--nothing probably specifically... Just stuff at home. More reading probably--I'll have more time for that. I mean more... "educational" reading. Hm... I'm the only one in my family yet who has skipped a grade, so it's kind of new. But when I graduate I'm sure I'll be able to help mom more around the house...
*waves to greenleaf*!!! We've missed you!! How've you been? What's new?
Lazarus IS quite helpful. Glad you've been enjoying it!
I was annoyed earlier because I was using Safari instead and lost two posts.
I'm sorry things haven't been working out too well for you lately. I know how that goes. *hugs*
Thank you, Rosa!! I'm feeling a lot better though... things are looking up.
-Love the song lyrics you posted by Kutless!
Do you generally get much snow down where you live, or no?
Yes. Lots of it. We live in the Mid-western U.S., so we get a fair amount.
How did it go with the family coming over? I hope all went well and you had a pleasant time with the other girl.
It went well! The food was good ( ) and we played Rummikub, or however it's spelled, and "Bumper-Pool"--which is kind of like Pool, except different. And I had a good time talking to her.
Anything else new with you? I have a friend's birthday party I hope to go to this Thursday. I just need Dad and Mom's permission.. but I haven't even asked yet. I'm always really bad at that-- I always ask really "late"...
*high fives Syd* Hehe.
Ed P: Congrats!! Yay! You're getting Awake! That's like the best thing I've heard you say this week! J/K
NN: Snow? We got snow on Oct. 10th, but that's it so far. Today it's about 60 degrees. Yay!!
*waves to LL* Hi!! I miss you. :'(

Look what you've done, Dani! You're so clumsy! *Ruby rolls eyes*
(NOTE: If you're wondering, Dani's the clumsy, clueless, no-common sense side of me. )
Well, sad to say I can only drop by for a brief "hello" and for a quick update on my whereabouts.
Camping trip locations were changed last minute, so I didn't get to go see the ocean. (That would be the fault of the red tide ) But I got to go and see some very dear friends of mine who I haven't had a chance to talk to in a long time. And the camping wasn't so bad, because three out of four of the nights we were supposed to be camping, I was staying at my friend's house.
Aiden! How goes all? How are the other two personalities doing? I've been doing rather good myself. And you know Ruby, she's always doing well. I never know what Erubadhriel is up to.
(NOTE: Ruby is the red-headed, adventurous, energetic side of me. [NOTE within NOTE: I do not have red hair.])
I'm swamped with homework, due to a week of camping, so I probably should get off soon and get to work once again.

Hey JoJo! How's life these days? So sorry that I haven't been able to keep up with the forums...it's really pathetic, I know, especially since the square is moving so slowly.
Djaq! *hugs* Love your avatar!! How's everything going?
Ah! The fall colors are showing so beautifully now! And today is such a beautiful day!!! *spreads arms wide and spins around in an open field (my backyard)*

Sad to say, that's all I have time for.

Mortereve everyone!
I'm going to go fix some lunch; back in later for catchup!
*clears throat* Ladies and gents, I'd like to announce that the record for longest lunch break in human history has officially been broken. *is still waiting for a call from Guinness*
I've had an extremely busy last few days. We were prepping for a family birthday on Wednesday, and then I was gone all weekend on a youth retreat, which was fantastic! We were staying at a very beautiful place in the mountains and just had an amazing time of teaching and discussion and bonding with each other. I'm so glad I went, but it was a lot of work to juggle with some other things. And now there's some major deadlines bearing down on me, so life's going to be interesting for awhile.
How've you all been?
*has to go do some chores, but will be back later for ketchup (and it WILL happen this time)*

Hi everyone. Time for my daily procrastination time
I'm afraid I actually won't be getting a new iTouch for a little while. I want to wait for the 4th generation with a camera and such . Cool! Does it talk to you in British now?
Yes, I was a little disappointed when the iTouch didn't have a camera, but I had already waited for it to come out and didn't really want to wait much longer! But yes, it does talk in a British robot voice (Which isn't really as cool as a normal British accent, but still funny xD)
NG, I swear Costco has everything! Plus, it comes in giant packs, so you get everything in extra-large size!
However, cold weather is better than any kind of hot weather!
I might have to disagree with you there, I prefer the heat! I despise being cold, and I always am cold! But I do love winter clothes. I love wearing jackets and sweaters and scarves!
Anyways, how are you QS?

Oh Malkah, you make me laugh! Glad you had a good time on your youth retreat, it really sounds super fun! And congrats on the 100 posts!
That seemed short. Hope everyone has a great day! (:

*doesn't feel like making a dramatic entry today *
Hello All! Well, the weather today was very nice indeed. Sunny, with a small breeze, and the flaming colours of the autumn trees highlighting every street. It's all so wonderful.
Anywho, time to catchup.
*Waves to CS dear* Hiya!
Well Hello, Miss Jojo! And how are you?
Lol! That's funny, CS. Yeah, when you're reading a good book, time just flies.
Yesterday we went out for lunch, and we were going to stop by Kohl's and Costco for a little bit, then go home to finish up our schoolwork. But we didn't end up getting home till 6:00. Part of it is my fault. Because after we went to Kohl's (and my mom bought me a new coat for winter there ), Mom said we could stop by Borders for a few minutes, so I could look at some books. So we went to Borders and stayed there for...an hour. Yeah. I was looking at Book 6 in the Ranger's Apprentice series...then I was looking at other books...and an hour flew by! So after my mom and sister practically dragged me out of Borders (JK ) we went to Costco. We were there for a little while too, then we finally got home.
Yup Yuppers, time does fly when you're reading a book.
Lol! I've had that experience before. It's nice to sit in bookshops and go through books. I love going to the Narnia section and seeing the editions they have, seeing other books by some of my favorite authors, and reading those Arts and Crafts books.
One time, my mom took us to the library to spend the day (Heh, she's a book-lover too) and Aitb and I weeded through alot of books. That was a really fun day.
Ella: It'd sure be fun to have a book tree nearby, would it not? I've read the Anne series several times, although not in the near past or anything. It's a good series, so I hope you're able to read it!
Oh, yes it would! I wonder though, would the books fall off during the autumn? Or would the tree be picked clean so no books are ever left to drop?
Thank-you! I loved the first two the absolute best. But, I've only gone as far as "Anne of Ingleside." It was a really cute book with all the kids
Hehe, CS, I'm pretty sure Bella said something to me about you two being sisters But it's nice to meet you, and I'm doing fine, although I've been better. I hope you are well?
Ah, that's great. Yes, I'm doing allright, getting into the whole Autumn feel.
Aw, that's too bad. Hey, that's great! Good for you. What was it covering?
Ha! This'll probably be a hoot for you. It covered basic nouns: girl, boy, dog, cat (and the like) and basic nouns: dance, jump, walk, run (and the like)
Just about... back when my computer would just shut down whenever it felt like it. 😐 Yes, Lazarus is a post-saver and a life-saver!
Yep. Yeah, it does have a neat ring to it. I didn't make it up, of course. I'm sure I heard it from Jojo first.
Not. Fun. Yes sir it is.
Lol! I see.
Congrats to the 100 posts @ Malkah !

Morterve all!!
I just wanted to pop in a second and say hi. I got back from camping last night. We had a blast! It was too cold at night for my liking, but I lived through it. Didn't get much sleep though. On Saturday I ended up sleeping some in the afternoon in the sun. It felt so good to be warm again. Like I said though, it was a fun trip. No one got seriously hurt thankfully.
Anyways...What've y'all been up to?
