Mortereve all!!!
How is everyone on this beautiful mortereve??
I am doing pretty well, a bit tired though. I have intro academy tonight so that should be pretty fun. We are going to be going over ladders, and forcible entry.
Double N, no, it does not get as cold where I live in Texas as it does where you live. Although some parts of Texas gets pretty cold.
Man my brain is going! I posted this in an entirely wrong thread.
"Whenever you feel like criticizing any one," he told me, "just remember that all the people in this world haven't had the advantages that you've had.”

I just used Lazarus to recover this post and got a message telling me all the work it saved me, so I should therefore donate and ensure the good of future generations. *feels rather guilty*
Yay for Lazarus! But, yeah, those notices that say you should donate can be annoying.
Double N, no, it does not get as cold where I live in Texas as it does where you live. Although some parts of Texas gets pretty cold.
Yeah, I figured it didn't. Out of curiosity, how cold do you think the coldest part of Texas gets?
Man my brain is going! I posted this in an entirely wrong thread.
Where did you post it?
EDIT: BTW, I was at the ortho's the other day and I noticed someone on the birthday list whose name was Tiana! I didn't know that was a real name!
I'm off. Mortereve all!

I'm assuming by "dinner" you mean lunch? We usually use "dinner" to mean supper, but anyway... I just had a little microwavable sandwich. I wasn't too hungry, so it was just the right amount.
Yep. We're the only people I know who call it that. Other then friends who get it from us and say it accidentally.
so I should therefore donate and ensure the good of future generations.
Hehe.
...Not too much to say right now... I mended a laundry bag. And I sewed some other bags...
There are jeans and a flag to be mended... And more bags to sew--But I don't think I have to do it right now. So I'm taking a break.

Well, how would you know how much time FB takes if you're not on it, NN? Just like everything else, it's good in moderation, but people can do it too much. And if you don't have very many friends, then it really doesn't take up much of your time. (btw, how much time you spend on NW?
Seeing as reading feeds my writing, I should read more than I write. Does that logic work?
Thanks! I hope I can get the film made.
Djaq, I'm glad you (and several others) are reading my book. It encourages me to write more. Naming the kitten "Snowball" crossed my mind, but I rather like Sweetie. It came so natural to Maralyn's dialogue.
QS, sorry, I should have known that you being a homeschooler, you wouldn't know what year Junior was. (one homeschooler poking fun at another) I'm in 11th grade. So, yeah, I'm probably a bit older than you.
Ah, I see NN butted into our conversation and answered your question. *shoves NN (playfully)*
*giggles at Tiana's absentmindedness (long word!)* How are you doing, sis?
I got my picture taken today, with the rest of my homeschooling group. It was freezing, and I was in a skirt. Brrr... I can't wait for spring...oh wait, Christmas comes first.

Hehe. Yep. That's for sure.
And yes, you probably are a bit older then me--especially since I skipped a grade--so I'm "technically" probably 2 years younger.
And yes, it's cold.

Good mortereve all!
I'm doing great, thanks, Jack! I have been reading a LOT in the past couple days. I just got a couple books from the library, so I've been reading a ton.
Mmm, reading is fun! I'm reading Persuasion by Jane Austen at the moment.
Hey, Djaq came back (that rhymes!) to make another catchup post! And, 85% (roughly calculated) of it is directed toward me.
*bows* I thought I'd be out of character for once. Lol! Yes, I suppose that I did respond to you for most of it (so much for ignoring each other).
Hehe, thank you. Yes, I know you were kidding; so was I.
Yes, we both knew that the other was kidding, but that's half of the fun.
Yeah, that's true. We each have several nicknames, but only use 2 of them for each other.... if that made sense.
And I see you've done likewise.
No worries, that makes perfect sense.
Yup, I did.
Ooh, you? That's cool!
No, of course I don't think that! Well you shouldn't be surprised you won!
As did I, and I'm sure the judges too. Must be a tough job.
Yep! I'm judging with Ryan and Cor!
Good! Aw, thanks.
*doesn't get it*
Have you never read Dr. Seuss? It's from The Cat in the Hat. . . There are two things, and they're called "Thing One", and "Thing Two". Does that make any sense now?
Let's not drop it yet, I'm still thinking. (What am I thinking of? I forgot... )
Okay, fine, I'll let you think some more. (You're trying to think of some reason for me to run away. . . I was in trouble for being gone so long, remember? )
I thought so. Thank you.
Of course you did. You're welcome.
I know they have a name, but who knows what it is...
"Start making our way back home."
I don't know what it is either.
"No, I meant about Ian; he's going to try to steal the Declaration of Independence, Ben."
You get the last line!
Fine, I will! (Yeah, I'd probably have to be ejected from NarniaWeb. )
Humph! (That wouldn't be good. )
"A jump like that could kill a man!" NT1.
Good one!
"Was that a threat?" Sweet Home Alabama.
Oh really? I didn't know that. In that case, I don't mind it so much.
Well, even if it's not used carelessly, per se, it could seem irreverent even if they fight with it. Ah well, I suppose I don't have too much of an opinion either, though I agree with what they said in the podcast.
Yup.
Same here, pretty much.
Ok, then, I promise not to read it! Hehe, thanks.
Yeah, I know!
Yep, I can imagine!
Good!
Do you like to write at all? (Just wondering)
It is quite annoying! That's good. Hopefully when I get my regular retainer (instead of my temporary one) it'll be easier to talk.
Aw. Maybe it will get better.
Wow, that sounds like it could have been an interesting camping trip, QS!
Our relatives are nice. What about you??
Yes, my relatives are nice as well.
Jk.
I'm doing really good. I've been playing the piano, doing school, just the normal for now.
*is not a fan of red peppers*
Ditto.
*the Square Pea bounces in*
Lol! Very cute.
Djaq, I'm glad you (and several others) are reading my book. It encourages me to write more.
Then I'm happy to help!
Naming the kitten "Snowball" crossed my mind, but I rather like Sweetie. It came so natural to Maralyn's dialogue.
Yes, it did. And "Snowball" is just so overused for a white cat.
Well, I believe that concludes my catchup for right now. I shall now go send an email to my brother.

"Life" - A story by QS.
A few events pop up now and then...
Sometimes when I don't want them to, and usually 2 at once where we have to skip one and go to the other.
For example... Next week Friday the 23rd I was really looking forward to a time where I could see some of my friends... I haven't really had a chance to talk to them for 2 weeks... and it might be 2 more weeks if this keeps up...
So.... we had to miss the last party thing because we went to a family reunion.
And now there's another one next Friday... and we'll miss that because we'll be with family again. I love family... but they always seem to hold events on the one day I could be able to see my friends...
And the part I'm more sad about is that I was hoping to have a really good friend over for a day... but since we're not going to that, I won't be able to.
And next Sunday instead of going to the Pastor's home for Dinner, we might go home... Which would cut off that afternoon of seeing friends as well...
Don't get me wrong, I don't want to make it seem like my life is wrapped up around my friends! I try very hard not to make them idols or anything... But I haven't seen them or had a chance to talk for a long time... And I was looking forward to so many things happening... and they always fall apart. It seems every time.
So yeah. That's life.
The End.

Good evening everyone! I hope everyone has had a pleasant day, for the most part I have. Been reading some, but that's normal.
Djaq: Mmm, yes! ...Is there anything new with you? How is school going for you? Ah, I see you are reading Persuasion! Is it your first time reading it? I absolutely love that book!
Narnia Girl: I think we ought to start a "Don't Ask Me What I've Done Recently Because I've Just Been Reading, As Usual" club, eh?
Aiden: Yes, you're right.
Thanks! (I personally think so too...)
Djaq:

Queen Susan: *gives a hug* I'm really sorry things don't seem to be working out that you can see your friends right now- that would be really frustrating! (And, if it helps any, I don't get the impression that your life is centered around your friends...I know you want to talk with them and I think it's normal to be saddened when you can't...)
Sounds delicious! I would presume that 200-300 gallons is one whole lot of jugs?
Well! There was a lot less catchup then I first assumed there'd be, but that's fine. Perfectly fine.
Cheers all!

Hello everyone!!!
It's been waaay too long since I was on here last and I've been missing you all very much. Unfortunately my busy schedule doesn't allow me time to make a nice long catch-up post but I just had to drop in here and say hello.
Narnia Girl!*hugs* How have you been? By the way, whose the person in your signature? The girl in the pink?
Aiden!! I have no idea what we were talking about...I lost the conversation somewhere along the way. Will a hug make up for it?
Djaq! What have you been up to lately? Great to see that you've managed to keep up with the forum, unlike some other people around here. *looks guilty*
*Looks around for Miss Aravis* Hmm...nowhere in sight. Or maybe I'm just blind. Anyway, I need to tell her that I've gotten almost half of By Your Side down on the piano! It soudns horendous, at least in my opinion, but it's better than I expected. Frankly, I didn't expect to be able to play any of it.
Benjamin!! So glad to know you're still alive!! How has life been treating you these days??
I am waaay overloaded with homework, BUT I get a nice vacation this weekend (fall break!!) and my family is going camping on an island in the ocean!!! I am so, so, so excited. I'm not quite sure about the island part, but if all goes to plan...I should finally get to see the ocean!!! *excited*
Well, I'm really, very, and truly sorry, but that's all I have time for. Oh! I almost forgot!! *waves to malkah and Winter*
How have you two gals been doing?? Ok, that's sort of a stupid question to be asking Winter, since I just saw her this afternoon...
Winter, as you might have noticed, I've been goofing around and making some attempts with graphics. Not very good, I know. It needs a lot of work.
Well, I REALLY must be off now!!! Farewell all you square onions and peas!!!
God bless!
EDIT: What is up with the forum?? Everything's....centered...and it's driving me crazy!!!

It's been raining nonstop all morning. It was raining yesterday evening too. And my friend, who lives on the mountains, had snow flurries at her house! She is so lucky...I'd rather have snow than rain.
Ketchup:
Lol! That's right, NN95...but it's better to be optimistic, don't you think?
Hey malkah! Looking forward to your ketchup!
I've heard of Persuasion before, Djaq. Is it good so far?
Ha! That would be funny, FF. But I'm always reading...so it's really true. Anyway, we could talk about Narnia instead. Sooo...what's your favorite Narnia book?
Ruby! *hugs back* I'm doing wonderful, thanks! I actually slept in a little this morning, so I'm feeling pretty rested! Oh, the girl is Padme, from Star Wars.
Ketchup's done, didn't take too long today. Anyway, since we went to the library yesterday, I got some more books! I started reading City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau. And Wednesday Night Teen Church was so much fun yesterday! (But of course, it's always fun. ) The lesson was really good.
I hope it doesn't rain all day today. But, we really need the rain. I just get sick of rain...makes me feel gloomy.
Have a lovely mortereve, all!

I had a really creepy dream last night... I'm going to tell you It... It was really vivid
me and my sister went with a neighboring church on a mission trip to some island off the coast of Alaska. I don't remember the trip but when we got there we were teaching some kids there to play soccer when the sun grew bigger and bigger till it split in three, all the sudden the whole galaxy showed up over head and stayed there for hours and we all just sat around watching it. Then we noticed it started falling apart and then all went black; when I woke up we were in a small room that had tables and a type of platform with a podium. Suddenly God appeared... he sure didn't look like the God we imaged though... He was a black man and had little tentacles sticking out of his chin then I woke up.
However I don't think this was a warning from God cause I talk to doctor R. and he said it wasn't....
Ben: I'm doing great buddie... I still havn't figured out the meaning of sanity though
If you ain't first, you're last.
Um--wow. That's kind of a weird dream, narnianerd.
Right now I'm in the middle of giving a history lesson to my younger brothers... They're taking tests though... Then I have to make dinner and this afternoon I have piano lessons...

Yep. We're the only people I know who call it that. Other then friends who get it from us and say it accidentally.
No, you're not the only people that call it that! But, let me tell you about the technical meaning of "dinner". "Dinner" refers to the main meal of the day. On most days, that's supper. However, on Sunday or holidays, lunch is usually the main meal, so it is the dinner on that day. But, people use the terms interchangeably, so it really doesn't matter.
Well, how would you know how much time FB takes if you're not on it, NN? Just like everything else, it's good in moderation, but people can do it too much. And if you don't have very many friends, then it really doesn't take up much of your time. (btw, how much time you spend on NW?
Because everyone I know that's on it tells me it's addicting and they spend too much time on it. Sure, if you're good at scheduling time and don't spend too much time online, then it can be a great way to keep in touch with friends. Haha, I suppose that would be true.
Umm, I usually only come on once per day, so about 30-45 minutes.
Seeing as reading feeds my writing, I should read more than I write. Does that logic work?
Sure, that logic works!
Thanks! I hope I can get the film made.
Yeah, that'll be pretty cool.
Ah, I see NN butted into our conversation and answered your question. *shoves NN (playfully)*

Oh well.

I just get sick of rain...makes me feel gloomy.
Yay, somebody else who doesn't like rain!! I agree, it makes everything feel gloomy.
Wow, Joe, what an odd dream! But, no God doesn't give humans visions any more, like he used to in Bible times. Dreams, nowadays, are just our minds sorting things out. You can have any sort of dream imaginable, but none of them are a "vision of the future" or other such nonsense.
