*Cor and Vern enter the Square after a lovely supper of Chinese food*

Mortereve all! Well, today was Mom's birthday, so we had a special supper for her tonight. My treat. :) The food was very good and after we ate, Dad and I gave Mom the presents we had bought for her. Needless to say, it has been a lovely evening.

I hope everyone is also having a pleasant Tuesday evening as well.

*Cor and Vern take their usual places at the fountain*

O.K, to for a catch-up post:

@ Jojo. *tips hat and excuses Jojo for not trying to curtsy again* Yes, well, the headache left later that evening (thankfully!) Oh, rotten luck there! Sugar is indeed in everything.... 8-| There are some good alternatives though. (and no, Splenda is not one of them. ;) ) Glad you are doing fine other than the headaches. :)

*That's very good to hear. I'm doing quite well myself, thanks. Well, he had not talked with either of you for a few days, so he was not too sure how you were. I'm glad to hear you and Lissa are doing fine.*

@ my dear sister, Princess. Yeah, it took me several weeks to come to terms with the fact that I was a Senior. "But I don't look that old!!" :p To some extent, yes. I have the same number of subjects, it just takes longer to do them now. :)

Actually, I based Neal more off of Hugh Jackman's Van Helsing with a bit of John Wayne thrown in for good measure. The Westley similarities are purely by accident.

Yep, it's a lot of fun being able to do or say stuff that Neal would not or could not say/do. Umm, sure if you want. I really don't know what kind of pointers to give, but I'll do my best. :)

@ NN. Wow, you've done some research on that.... I just know that you can see more of the action, locations, ect in widescreen. ;))

@ Fanny. Yes, indeed. Anyway, enough with morbid stuff. How have you been?

@ Flam. Very well, we can go with just a quoting conversation since I'm sure I know quotes that you probably don't and vice versa. :) So, to start things off: "You are the worst pirate I have ever heard of." ~ Norington, POTC 1.

@ Winter. *laugh* I've been meaning to ask, who is that in your avatar? I've seen Ryan (Rising_Star) with some graphics of that kid, but I can never figure out what he is from....

*waves to Ruby, Malkah, Fauntastic, Cepp and Gorse*

--------------------------------

Well, I better head back home now. I'll try to stop back by later!

Mortereve all!

*Cor and Vern exit the Square discussing Field of Dream*

My favoritest Lady A, which we ALL know stands for:
Lovely
Amazing
Dear
Youthful

Adored

(attributes befitting you, Lady A, most assuredly so) I've previously made my hopes for a fantabulous day known, but I would like to tell you, at the end of "Your day", please have had a cherry-topped one! You're pretty special to me, and I pray that this following hear is the most profitable and blessed year of your life yet!

Now. I'm afraid that I have had to split my time tonight between catching up in emails, PMs, here, and on my blog, and I'm afraid that a long catch-up here isn't gonna happen tonight.

My grandparents are coming on Thursday, and staying overnight. I'm pretty excited about that! :D AND, we're going to an Selah/Avalon concert on Saturday. This too I'm ecstatic about!

Good-night, all. May you each know that I will respond soon to you personally. ;) :)

(King Lune enters the Square)

Mors d'oeuvres! No, that's not it... Oh well, greetings to all!

It is with heavy heartburn that I am pleased to report that Lady A has been successfully birthdayed. Prince Cor (fine lad that he is) procured the supper from the new Chinese eatery conveniently located just up the road from the castle. After the meal (which was indeed fit for a Lady, if not for a King), the lovely Lady A was properly gifted and then desserted, I am afraid.

Alas, even That Dragon of Cor's managed to contribute to the festivities by leaving a Rather Large Woodland Creature on the Royal Doorsteps. http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2008/03_03/mooseDM2003_468x440.jpg

This concludes my report, as I am heading back to the castle for some Red Zinger with honey, and perhaps a prune or two.

Carry on!

Heh, hello everyone. I'm terribly sorry that I haven't been coming into this beloved square for some time. But, I'm here now :D.
Unfortunately, I think my catchup pages have built up, hence I shall just start afresh.
Today was a nice day. My mom and I moved a piano, which was very fun, and a nice time to bond together (not to mention laugh hysterically when we achieved in moving it into the way we wanted it to move.) It was a little tiring, but it was such fun. It sounds very pretty too. :) I played a little of it today, and I think its an absolutely wonderful piano.
****

What Bella has stated is entirely true; we four (first just Bella and me, then C.S. and me, and then C.S., Bella, and me, and then C.S., Bella, me, and Lissa) spoke upon the telephone this evening. I know that I enjoyed it immensely!

Lol! So nicely put. Hee, I absolutely loved it! ;;) I think that telephones are the next best inventions after the famous "sliced bread". :P

...Paul T drinks a little milk with his caffeine laden coffee, as Gorse sips piping hot Acorn Tea*

Acorn tea? I just had a visual image of this little squirrel sipping acorn tea from a cup that's shaped like an acorn. Sounds interesting and tasty. ~o)

Aaand, a Happy Birthday to Lady A! :D *balloons and conffetti fall from the sky*

*waves to everyone in the Square*
And now, I deaprt to bed. Good Mortereve everyone!

Mortereve all!

Geez, it's like the Square has suddenly come alive again. :p There's lots of posts from yesterday!

I can definitely see how that will help in writing a book, pon. Thanks for helping me! I'll try that.
No, we don't live in the hills or mountains. But there's lots of forest and woods where we live, plus we're a few miles from the nearest town, so I guess that's why we see bears sometimes. The only other times I've seen a bear, besides last Wednesday, was when we woke up in the morning and our birdfeeder pole had been knocked down, and my dad said it had to have been a bear that knocked it down, since nothing else was strong enough, and the other time was when we were on our way home from a restaurant and we saw a bear cub about a mile from our house. :D

Nope, we haven't seen it since then, NN95. If we do see it again, though, I hope it's not in our yard. :-s

FF, I think my library has about five of the Redwall books.

Djaq, I'm still like on page 10. I don't think I've touched the dictionary in the last week...I've totally forgotten. But now that I've remembered, I suppose I should read some more of it today. ;)
Ah, okay. I guess I'll call you Jack, then. :D
Oh yes! Especially decorating the Christmas tree while listening to Christmas music...that's so much fun!!! *happy sigh* All this talking about Christmas is bringing back good memories...

Wow, hope you get some rest soon, Ruby! But that's great that you did pretty good on the Biology and Geometry exams. :D

Lady A, happy belated birthday!!!

CS! Hi! How are you doing?

Yesterday was pretty quiet. Just schoolwork, mostly. But today we're going to a pizza place with one of my friends for lunch! And we go to the library today, and then Wednesday Night Teen Church!

Hoooooray! I have survived braces! :D/ I have a temporary retainer for now, but I'll have a regular one in a couple of weeks.

CongaFlyingSquirrels! My siblings had that experience, but I missed out. Should I feel deprived?

Heh, hello everyone. I'm terribly sorry that I haven't been coming into this beloved square for some time.

Ach. Life happens. Not such a bad thing. People come. People go. Thats Ditto Town Square. :)

Geez, it's like the Square has suddenly come alive again. :p There's lots of posts from yesterday!

It does do that, eh? I can imagine this will be even more true once more news comes out on VDT; news like a trailer at the movies.

Not much going on yesterday. A number of 911 calls here and there. Watched an EMT class complete the final exam; 19 passed and 2 failed. I did not think it was a hard test, but that is likely unfair of me to evaluate. Went out on one death confirmation; the daughter of the woman that passed away had a sense of humor about the situation as did her mother as the daughter explained. Her mother was quite advanced in years. Not unexpected, and a little sad, but not tragic.

“Safe?” said Mr. Beaver; “don’t you hear what Mrs. Beaver tells you? Who said anything about safe? ‘Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good. He’s the King, I tell you.”

Oh, ok. Yeah, that would be quite scary, huh? My grandpa has seen several bears in his yard over the years, but he lives right near the woods.

CongaFlyingSquirrels, huh? Thank you, I guess. Should you feel deprived? Depends on how much you would like to have straight teeth compared to how much you'd mind or not mind braces.

Thank you for the pictures- all the costumes look really nice! :) I'm so glad everything went well, a production that has gone of successfully and without a hitch leaves such a nice feeling, doesn't it?

Yes, it does! :D I'm actually a little sad to be finished. ;)) I'll miss Play Practice every Tuesday. :p ;)

Hello everyone! And good mortereve :) ! *sighs* The past few days have been rather dreary here :( . Rain in the morning. Sunny in the afternoon. A strange weather pattern :-? . Ah, only two days before the weekend! I cannot believe that it is already October! It is crazy how time goes by so fast. They say that time fly's when you're having fun. And they also say that the older you get the faster time goes by. Put the two together and...the older you get you must have more fun ;) :D ! I found that quite comical. And now, for a much needed CATCHUP!

Edmund P: Yes, it is rather nice! It's funny though, how (I guess it was God) this person came into our life and was able to provide something that would help us in a small way. This probably sounds odd, but I guess God knew that we'd need it, and was able to use our friend to bless us. Hmmm.

'Tis rather interesting, FF :) . Yes, God knows all of our needs. How is your cold/cough doing now :) ?

Before we know it, aye? ;) It's taking quite a long time for me. And The Hobbit is taking even longer. :p

Really? It seems to me that it just gets closer and closer. In a mere two months it will only be a year away ;) :D ! Ah! The Hobbit. I had nearly forgotten about that film. When is it's release date? Sometime in May, right? :- :)

Good ole' Eddie: Oh dear, they were delayed? Not good; now you'll have time to think about how much you maybe don't want them. ;) :p Mmhm, you're welcome. I've been doing fine, thank you! And yourself? Any pains, aches, troubles to report? If so, I recommend "vitametavegamin".

Yes, Jojo, I am afraid so 8-| . Yes, 'tis unfortunate that I must wait until the end of this month. Though, this mean more time to have soft drinks, whole apples, candy bars, and the like :D ! True, it does give me more time to think about how much I might not want them...Hmmm. Yes. Of course there are always pains and aches to report! My back has (of course) been killing me. I am nearly convinced that it isn't a muscle cord - that it is *sighs* chronic back pain :-ss . Great, Jojo! I've been doing quite well! School is fine, yes, everything is well :) .

Sounds like you're enjoying Jane Eyre, EP! :D

Yes, indeed! It is a wonderful book :) . My new favorite. What books are you reading again?

@EdP, Jane Eyre took me awhile to read. In fact, when I was about where you are, I couldn't wait any longer to see how the story went. So I watched a movie version (with Timothy Dalton) and got the rest of the story. Then I went and finished the book. :D It's very intriguing. If you like Charlotte Bronte's writing, you might also want to try her sister's, Emily's Wuthering Heights. Also a very good read.

Tsk, tsk, PON, that's cheating :p . Yes, very intriguing. Yes, perhaps I'll get around to Wuthering Heights one day 8-| .

I went iPod hunting! I'm going to be purchasing the new iPod Touch soon, and I wanted to get all the info I could find

Ah, the iPod Touch, a very good choice!

Though now I think that the new iPod Nano has the iTouch beat as far as technology goes. The new nano has a video camera, voice memos (the iTouch also has this feature), and live FM radio! I've been contemplating whether or not to buy the iPod Nano or the brand new iPod Touch. I already have the older version of the iTouch...well, I suppose it isn't as old as I think, it is a 2nd Generation. But since they came out with the new one a month or two ago, I guess it is old :-$ . Just be sure to get a case for your iTouch :) !

It's all right, Edmund P! It was probably more awful for my parents, I couldn't imagine having a child be so sick so young. ): It would be scary. And I've always wanted to have laser-whitening too! And it'll be wonderful to have straight and blinding white teeth, as soon as I get these braces off!

I'm sure it was awful for your parents :( ! Yes, strait, brilliant white teeth. Sounds like a nice combination ;) .

Whew! (That's Spanish...

He sido alright. El dolor de espina es un fastidio aunque.

Yeah, I have read that. That's definitely gotten me scared. :-ss :-s You mean, the Lady of the Green Kirtle? Or if not, maybe I'm not remembering who the Emerald Witch is. Either way, wouldn't we have heard about a casting announcement for said Witch? I'm not too worried about that... However, the "unfathomable fate" idea may be more true than we thought.... ^#(^

Yes, the Lady of the Green Kirtle. I call her the Emerald Witch though. I have saw that fantasia_kitty said that the LotGK has been cut from the movie completely though! The 'unfathomable fate' has not really worried me all that much...I'm just not sure right now :-s .

BTW, any new vlogs coming soon?

Well, yesterday I worked on a new introduction for my videos. And that alone took me 2 hours #:-s . But, perhaps a new video blog will be up sometime next week! :)

Thanks! 😀 The cold is completely gone now. And yep, I was in a play. All I talked about for a few days. You didn't notice? ;) Just kidding.

That's great, QS! Nooo, I didn't notice... :D

Yes, it is a long book!
I've been doing well! Thank you! :)

518 pages to be exact. :)

Hoooooray! I have survived braces! :D/ I have a temporary retainer for now, but I'll have a regular one in a couple of weeks. That'll only be temporary too, though, so eventually I won't have to wear it any more. :D

That is GREAT, NN95! :D/

What have you had going on lately? Do you have your braces yet? Sorry, I can't remember. ;))

*Laughs* Oh, nothing really. Guitar, school, job, and some other things :) . How about you :) ? No, no. I haven't gotten my braces yet. The end of this month for sure. like...4 days before Halloween ;) . Which is a shame. I shall not be able to eat all of that CANDY! :P Oh well, I don't need it anyway. 8-|

Thanks, Ed!!! I'm sure I will. :)

Wait. What were we talking about again? :- ( ;)) ) Ohhh! Piano lessons right?! ;) :D

*Sits back and finishes editing*

Ah, and so another catchup is done. Have a great mortereve, all! :)

*Lady Amalthe rushes breathlessly into the Square. In her hurry, she doesn't notice the tail of a sleeping dragon protruding from behind the chocolate tree. Three cartwheels and two back handsprings later, the Lady lands in the fountain ~ her usual resting spot.*

Brrrr. The water is c-c-cold!! I wonder what I tripped over this time?

*Looking back from whence she came, she sees the object of her demise*

Vern! I should have known! I wonder if the smile on his face while he sleepeth is because of the chocolate he ate or the moose. The poor dear was quite proud of himself when he deposited his, um, gift at the castle door. Unfortunately, the moose had suffered a cardiac arrest as a result of the flight so Vern was obligated to find a better resting place for it.

Speaking of birthdays, I would like to thank CS, Queen Susan, Narnia Girl, Jojo, Prince Cor m'dear, and that King Lune guy for wishing me a delightful day - belated or otherwise. I was touched and most impressed by Jojo's ode to my royal name. That was worth two! Y'all are all so sweet.

I better head back to the castle and get dried off as lingering in the cold can be quite... chilly. Alas, I am not like Mrs. Beaver who found such a dunking "lovely". Good night to all, and may the stars shine gently in your dreams!

*Lady Amalthea sloggs her way back across the square, grabbing a rum truffle (or two) from the chocolate tree to warm herself until she gets back to Anvard*

Edit: Oh dear! I seem to have lost my beautiful unicorn signature. Are there any specialists in the house? I feel a bit lost without a signature....

Oh my! Mortereve all!

I should say that I haven't been here in a very long time, almost too long. Firstly, I got lost and gave up hope to competing with page long posts of fellow Town Square Narniawebbers... :p ... and secondly, I just haven't had the time.

Augh... the wind here is absolutely crazy today. We've literally been under a Severe Wind Advisory since last night with winds over 45 mph. I went out for a run and was nearly blown away. Thank goodness I had my dog to keep me pinned to the ground. #:-s

It is gorgeous in a way though... reminds me of Narnia and the scene in LWW with the trees after Aslan's death. I love windy days. Watching the puffy clouds fly across the sky and having the disheveled, just rolled out of bed hairdo all day... yep nothing beats that! ;)

I just found out this afternoon that we don't have school tomorrow and the whole student body is going for a hike in the woods instead. Yay!
*throws a mini party for herself for not having to do homework!*

Ah well, I don't have much time on the computer today. Just popping in to say "Hi". Well I'll be going now, but I'll probably stop by tomorrow.

Mortereve all! How are you all doing this Wednesday eve? :)

Catching up (hopefully. :-s If I suddenly disappear, you know who to blame. *glares at laptop*)

Two years ago the Dolphins went 1-15, though I'm not sure how they did last year or how they're doing this year. But, that's another team that's not so great.

It seems like there's a team like that each year. ;)) I do feel sorry for their fans.

*nods at NN's explanation of BJU* Ah, I see! :) BJU is definitely a good curriculum. What's your favorite subject with them?

Not an obsession? ;)) :-o

Of course not! :-o I only listen to their music every day or so. That's pretty moderate, don't you think? :p

All I know is that I have a torn muscle cord :-s . Sounds lovely doesn't it? 8-|

Ouch! I'm sorry! :( Back injuries are no fun--I fractured my spine a couple years ago, and it really affects every motion you make. [-( Are you going to do therapy for it?

And what if they had a book about when Aslan created Narnia? Like, it could have Polly and Digory in it and everything. ;)

Oooh, like the Narnian equivalent of Genesis, or a more novel-type story? Now I'm getting excited for books that don't exist! :(( ;)

Isle of Fire sounds good! :)

I'm assuming you've read Ella Enchanted too? :)

Quite a few times, and loved it! :) It's such a funny, endearing, sweet story--that really deserved a better movie adaptation. 8-|

Narnian at Heart, what a scary experience with your brother! :-o I'm glad he's feeling better! :) And that's really fun getting your ears pierced!

I was probably too excited about having pierced ears to notice the pain. ;))

Hah, I had thoroughly terrified myself about the pain level, so the small sting was a welcome surprise. ;)

I loved the Apologia books; best science textbooks out there, IMO.

Ditto to that! :D They really do an amazing job of making tough subjects doable. :)

I used Saxon for quite some time, but Teaching Textbooks just works a bit better for me. :)

I coach a swim team. Little kids who splash more then swim. Good stuff.

Who cares about breaststroke as long as you get some good splashing in? :p

*sends a back to Ruby*

Just a quick line befive I have to baby-out to jetsit all day, then vet the clean. #:-s

:-o :- ;))

I named him Wayfaring Jellybean

*giggles* ;)) So there's no story behind the name?

*waves to Jo* Those square watermelons are just...odd. ;)) I keep wanting to light the stems on fire and use them as candles. 8-} ;)

flam, I'm sick right now, but other than that, doing pretty well. :) And you? Beautiful new graphics, by the way!

Caution! OVERSIZED POST! *Waves little orange flags and blink orange lights*

*skitters out of the way* Wow, it certainly was! ;)

LOL, late night anything does that to me, too.

Thanks for making me feel better. ;) It's true, after 10pm, the memory just goes. :-??

What's up with everyone not wanting to be a SquareOnion any more? Hmph, we Onions are offended! Why, the mere thought that anyone would stoop so low as to be a mushroom or a pea... it's unheard of! [-(

*backs away guiltily* It's Ruby's fault; she started it! :p ;) (kidding) Seriously though, cannot one be both a SquareOnion and a SquarePea? ;;)

There's one album called Speaking of Silence that amazon is selling - they have one copy of it left, and it costs 99 bucks. Talk about high in demand.

I guess so! ;) As much as I love TAN, paying 99 bucks for an album is crazy. :-o

Yesterday my dad was going hunting with a friend of his, and my dad shot a bear! He brought it home yesterday evening for us to see

So you're not going to eat it then? ;)

I've finished the sequel to The Hunger Games! It ends on the worst cliffhanger, and I have to wait a whole year for the next (and last) book to come out...I have to know what happens!!

Oh dear, now I'll be dreading that as I read! ;) This is why authors should release a whole series at a time. :p I'm going to borrow both books from friends as well; still no luck at the library. The T-shirts sound fun! (maybe post pics) :)

I've started a little list for all the members in my family for what I should get them, so hopefully when December comes finding a present won't be so difficult!

I actually like to shop really early...I've found Christmas presents in April before. ;)

he's dressing up as Edward Cullen as a joke, so I gave him a few costume pointers

Oh my. ;)) Post some pictures of that too, will you? (jk) ;)

Glad to hear the drive went well! :)

Queen Susan, the History Festival sounds like so much fun! And that pic of Duke is adorable. :) I love square dancing! :D Have you done it before?

*skims*

NN95, that's awesome you got your braces off! :)

What about you?

Definitely Will and Djaq and Marian(most of the time). ;) And Much...he's so faithful. :)

I know this wasn't directed at me, but if I can jump in: ;)
