Mortereve all!
Lol, Ruby you should make room in that schedule of yours for piano lessons. I love playing the piano. Do you play any other instruments?
Thanks, Bella! But I am enjoying volleyball a lot.
Well, I started working on playing some Christmas songs from our hymnbook on the piano. Christmas is coming soon...I always like to play and listen to Christmas songs really early.
Why thank you! I'm not very diligent though, yeah I'm only on page 10...
Hello KingLune! *waves* How are you doing this fair Sunday afternoon?
I have to read half the dictionary, poggy. I'm not sure how many pages that is...probably a few hundred. I can't whistle at all. I've tried and tried - it's hopeless.
LL! I've been missing you lately. Sounds like you've been busy lately! You really must try to stick around here more.
My brother's feeling a lot better today, thanks, malkah! Right now he's downstairs running around and playing with stuffed animals, so he's definitely better. Yes, actually, we're planning on seeing Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs on Tuesday. I'm excited, the commercials for it looked really cool!
Hmm, I got Isle of Fire by Wayne Thomas Batson at the library. It's a super good book, and I'm reading it for the fourth time! (Yeah, I really love that book.) It's a pirate story with tons of adventure and drama, and I love it.
Narnian books! Definitely, malkah. If I could somehow go to Narnia, the library would be one of the first places I would visit!
Ketchup's done. Anyway, I had a great time shopping with my aunt yesterday! We did stop by the bookstore briefly, but I didn't buy any books. And, for dinner, we went to a pizza place, and I broke my record for eating pizza slices by eating six slices of pizza! You have no idea how stuffed I was afterwards, but it was very good.

Mortereve everyone! I trust that everyone's day has gone well?
Aiden: Thanks! Yes, it went fairly well I'd say.
I echo your thoughts on commercials and advertising. Most other companies seem to have no problem only promoting their own product, and also be successful, so why should Mac be different? I personally am PC all the way. I've always had a PC, my family has always bought PCs, so that's part of the reason. PC fits what I need, plus don't Macs take special software for most common programs? I'd rather just buy a PC and have the programs run nicely...especially since I don't need a super fancy computer for anything.
Thanks! The first movie has perhaps a silly theme, but it turned out to be one of the best put together ones we've ever done. It was called Treeslayer: Axe of Doom. Basically, the trees are in danger from the Treeslayer, so they [the trees, who can talk] call in Carmen, a Treeslayer slayer, and there's some sword fights, chases, etc. It's a half fantasy/half modern movie. Meaning, we have cellphones and sword fights, etc. A fun sort of mix up. We're not entirely sure what the sequel would be about- we've had some ideas, but I'm worried they'd be too intense and stuff, which isn't what we'd really be aiming at. But anyways!
Mel: How exciting! I do hope you have lots of fun as a bridesmaid!
I suppose it feels good being older, although there's not that much of a difference, or anything.
Awww! Did everything turn out for him in the end? I hope so!
Hmm, yeah, we might have to take Bella up on her offer of a hint, if it's fine with Ella.
Miss Aravis: I hope you have fun on your camping trip!
Queen Susan:
*stows that li'l bit of info away for next time* Seriously, though, I'm glad it's going great for you! The Providental History Festival sounds like it will be a good one!
Djaq: Thank you dear! Don't feel bad about it being late, please!
W00t! Less then three months until Christmas!!
Edmund P: How are things for you? Thanks! Yes-- sore throats are really nasty, aren't they? I think I'm almost over it now except for this cough that has everyone asking me if I'm really okay. Oh well. I. Will. Survive.
Bella: You are so sweet Bella! Thank you so very much! *hugs*
I hope the window washing goes well for you! I promise to send a picture along if I ever find one, of those windows, to help you visualize them better.
Fauntastic: Of course you may call me Fanny! How did the game go?
Narnia Girl: Wow--that book sounds interesting! I presume you've read it all already?
Ah, that's good! Yup, a good sign when a young boy is better is when he gets bouncy.
That's nice about the instructor- friendly people like that always make things easier, don't they?
Ruby: Thank you!
~LL~: *throws confetti* That's fantastic about your good marks!! Praise the Lord!
Malkah: I'm glad the yard sale went well!
Thank you! Yes, the day was quite lovely!
Pebbles: Yes, thank you! Things are going well indeed.
Welll.....I should be off. Cheers all!
Dear days of old, with the faces in the firelight,
Kind folks of old, you come again no more.
(Robert Louis Stevenson)
Hello hello! Hope everyone is ready to start a new week, because I'm definitely not!
Thanks for the welcome Edmund P, and good luck with braces! The first week you'll want to crumple up in a corner and cry, but after that you'll barely notice them (: And think of the beatiful smile you'll have when its finished! Just remember to always do everything your orthodontist tells you to (almost...I don't think anyone follows all of the strict food rules about what you can and cannot eat!) But always make sure you brush, and wear your rubber bands, etc...
Your welcome! Thanks, I'll need it I'm sure .I know! That's what I keep thinking of, a beautiful smile is waiting for me at the end! Oh I know! One of my sisters didn't follow one of the rules...and what do you know! Stained splotch-y places where the braces were. I know all of the rules. I've been through it many times with my other siblings. How have you been, malkah?
Well, actually I wrote this and not malkah, ahaha. You're lucky you have a clue what you are getting into, I am the oldest in my family and no one else has really had braces, so I just had to go off what my friends told me! Luckily their advice was pretty useful, hehe. When I first got mine on, another friend had just gotten hers off and said that she was worried about having a whiter spot where her braces were and that got me really nervous! My teeth are a little splotchy anyways, when I was a baby I had a really high fever before 6 months and that resulted to the miscoloring of my teeth, and I've had to live with that all my life. Thankfully, my parents promised me a professional teeth-whitening when I get mine off so maybe that can all be fixed! I've always been very subconscious of my teeth, and It'd be nice not to have to feel that way anymore
Well, fauntastic, recently I read Princess of the Midnight Ball by Jessica Day Georgie, and I read Dragon Slippers by Jessica Day Georgie recently, as well. I love fantasy. Oh, I've never heard of The Hunger Games. What's that about?
Those sound interesting, just by the title! I'll have to put them on my never-ending book list 8D I also love fantasy, but The Hunger Games is actually a sci-fi book...it'll sound really horrible and barbaric when I tell you what its about, but there's no other way to describe it...
It's in the future, America and Canada and Mexico have all been replaced and a new country called Panem has formed. There are 13 districts and the Capitol. The districts thought that the Capitol was treating them unjustly so they rebelled against them, but the Capitol won and destroyed District 13. So now there are only 12 Districts. To remind the people of their failed rebellion, every year two "tributes" are chosen from each district, a boy and a girl ages 12-18. They put all 24 tributes in an arena and call it the "Hunger Games". They broadcast the games to the entire country. But the tributes have to kill each other off, and the one that survives after everyone is dead is the "winner" and gets eternal glory basically. I know how horrible that sounds, but it's one of those books that I think you have to read so it doesn't sound disgusting and bizarre.
Glad everything worked out, RunyGamgee!
fauntastic, I don't think we've met! You can call me AitB or Bella (not from Twilight) I really like your username, btw! And I hear you go by Syd? May I call you so?
Hello Bella! 8D Of course, please call me Syd! Thank you for the compliment, I wish I had some awesome story about my username or something, but nothing coomes to me other than I was feeling particularly creative one night!
As for "Faunstatic", lol! That made me laugh! xD I'm glad you are getting your algebra class! Me and your sister can become Math Nerds together!
Haha, yep, the Square is the perfect place to hide from assignments.
This Square will probably be my downfall! xD
Yes, Square Onions. I find it to be a very endearing name.
I like it very much too! Onions give food extra flavor, and I feel that the people who post on the Square definitely give flavor too the Square!
I know, we haven't talked in a while! And I missed your birthday. I really did mean to say happy birthday. Haha, you still do that trademark backwards smile of yours, I see.
It's the thought that counts!! 8D And of course, my trademark backwards smile! I wouldn't trade it for anything, hehe ((((:
Um...are you the Syd that does those vlogs on youtube and thought she saw a dead body in the mall?
OHMYGOSH! You didn't see that, did you? Well, I guess you did, but haha..um..yeah...xD
I'm sorry you couldn't go! I'm really hoping I can, but I am encountering the Sold-Out Nature of Famous Broadway Shows right now. It might work out though; here's to hoping! Have you seen any other Broadway productions?
Urghh, yes that happens. I know it sold out here months before or something like that, but I know some people probably buy a ton of tickets and then sell them as it gets closer to the showing. They probably charge more than they paid for, unless a friend of yours has extra tickets and will sell them for the same price they bought them at.
I've seen two broadway shows. The Lion King and...*tries to remember* Annie Get Your Gun? Yes, I think so. I saw that one so long ago! But they were both really really good!
Fauntastic, SquareOnion is a word we use to descibe our fellow Square chums. I hope you don't mind being called a SquareOnion. Anyway, how are you enjoying the Square, thus far? I hope we don't scare you away.
Hehe, thank you! I don't mind the name at all, although I hope it doesn't refer to how Onions make you cry when you cut into them...xD But I am really loving the Square, it's wonderful here! Everyone is so nice I've managed to stay strong, though tempted to run away from Meltintalle!!
Hello Fanny! I'm almost positive we won, hehe. How are you?
Well, I guess I'm done with my ketchup I'm horrible at doing quote boxes, I can never remember if I'm doing them right...though the Square is the perfect place for practice!

Hey! Yep, I'm very glad the work is out of the way. Or at least, the immediate work. But yeah--everyone I've talked to (I think) that's going is really excited for it. Though some of us are a little "freaked out" that it's less then a week away...
Anyway--Today's Sunday. Of which I am thankful for... though most of the day is over. Anyway, church was wonderful, as usual. Etc.
Not a whole lot more to say..

i hope everyone is having a very blessed Sabbath! For some reason i'm having trouble typing. i think its this keyboard. I'm not used to thsi keyboard. Anyway, just dropping in to say "hi" to everyone!
I'm very, very tired at the moment. The after effects of a long week of school with little sleep. Pray that I get a good night's sleep! I seriously need it.

Hey Ruby! Glad you dropped by!
Right now I'm sitting here... A ton has been going on, and I guess I'll type it out. Pretty much...
Other then the History Festival and a few other random events, there's been a few bigger events...
A week ago or so we found out my Grandpa has cancer, so that's been kind of--I don't know. I mean, we're not exactly... deathly scared of it or anything, but we're praying that he and Grandma will have wisdom in decisions they make and stuff... It's just kind of something to make you think about... if you know what I mean. I didn't say it before now-- I guess I'm not really worried. I mean, I love Grandpa, and it's not like I don't care, but... it's all in God's hands. But I just thought I'd let you all know. So yeah.
I have that on my mind at the moment... And there's some colds going around, which obviously isn't a big issue at all. I just consumed numerous pills and such. So yeah. Those are some of the big and little things going on... I'm kind of tired right now, have a slight headache, so I'm ready to just go rest a little while.
Tomorrow's a new day--school, etc. So...
I guess I'll talk to you all later--here's a small update on my life.

Catching up. . .
malkah, that sounds like a tiring day indeed! Garage sales are a great way to get rid of stuff, but time consuming too.
Pebbles! Nice to see you again!
NG, I've missed you too! I do miss the Square when I'm gone, but college does have to take priority.
Fanny, praise the Lord indeed! Thanks for the confetti.
I'm horrible at doing quote boxes, I can never remember if I'm doing them right
They looked all right to me. I keep forgetting to put the "" around usernames; the Preview button is a big help.
Ruby, praying that you rest peacefully.
QS, enjoy the history festival!
I'm sorry about your grandfather. Praying for you!
And, that's all folks! I hope to pop in again over this next weekend, but we'll see. Sweet dreams and God bless!

Mortereve all!
Yes, I have read all of it, FF. I really enjoyed it. Have you been reading any good books lately?
Definitely. I'm glad my brother got better so quickly.
Yes, they do!
The Hunger Games does sound kinda horrible, fauntastic...but it does sound interesting too. I'd like to read it sometime. It sounds exciting.
Well, it sounds like you have been very busy, LL! I hope college is going well for you.
Hmm, the Square was a bit slow yesterday. Oh well.
All right, I have nothing else interesting to say except that yesterday evening, on our way home from the evening service at church, several deer ran across the road when we were about five minutes from our house. It scared us all for a second.
Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention that today we're going to the library! And we have piano lessons and volleyball today too. It will be a busy day.

Yeah. 😉 I don't know which one I like better anyway. And it's not like there will be only Mac-users in heaven. *laugh* (Or PC of course)
Oh well, undecided is a better than being a Mac fan.
Hmm, you sure about that? Just kidding.
Congrats on winning the wallpaper contest, Djaq! You sure it has nothing to do with the fact that your sister judged it?
What if I don't run?
Then you had better look out!
Nice save.
You're blaming me again. You weren't totally opposed to doing this scene when I suggested it.
"What?"
Yeah, thanks!
'Course! Kidding... Yeah, well, I was being nice.
"Move! Get out!"
*sigh* Can I do anything right, Mr. Perfect? (kidding, of course)
No, I don't reckon you can! (We're so mean to each other! )
"Do you suppose I'm here to chat with the bullfrogs?" Anne of Avonlea.
"Yes. No. I don't know!" Anne of Green Gables play I was in. Not sure if that same line is in the movie/book.
You're probably right.
Haha, I know what you mean. It's when you can't do something that you try harder...
Since I've never had any trouble with my retainer, I'm still hopeful that things will go well for you.
Ah well...
Yep....
Thanks, I hope so, too.
Aren't you proud of me?
Yes, if Ben hadn't added the second part, I think it would have been an even bigger deal to the fans than it already is. I'm not sure what he could mean by it...He obviously knows what he's talking about, so it does mean something...I just don't know what. Hehe, yeah, let's hope that they don't go overboard with it.
The purple sail is beautiful! Ben's beard doesn't bother me. I didn't even really notice it at first. It might bother me when I see it in the movie, but I'm fine for now.
Hmm, I need to read VDT again too. Oh, what are your thoughts on what happens to Gael and Rhince (from the recent video that we have of Edmund comforting Lucy)?
I most certainly am!
Yeah, true. The second part is a comfort. But gP could be right in assuming that he just added that for the fans' sake... Let's hope he slipped up on his words, eh? It's funny, it took him less than 2 seconds to say that sentence, about which he likely wasn't thinking too much, and yet three people get together to discuss that one sentence for about ten minutes. I suppose Ben could have meant anything!
I think it'll be the opposite with me: Ben's beard looks kinda weird now, but I'm sure it'll look great in the movie.
Yeah, so do I. By the newest video, even though Edmund doesn't say anything, I get the impression that he's thinking, "Well, we knew they'd have to leave eventually, but it's a shame to see them go." Something along those lines. What do you think?
No, I can raise my right one. I can do my left one subconsciously, but not if I'm trying.
Ok, ok, now it all makes sense!
Yeah, I logged on a few days after the switch, and unexpectedly, I had a PM from Jojo. She had sent me a video of her playing the piano (very well, I might add)!
Yes, look at it as a new experience! "The dream is ended, this is the morning!"
Ah, that's neat! I'm glad you logged in, or you might never have noticed it. (Ooh, I didn't know Jojo played the piano!)
I really like it, I suppose our Aiden hasn't totally ruined it for me. (totally kidding )
I know, I put a terrible light on the name Aiden.
*has been laughing heartily at the conversation going on between Jojo and Aiden* You are both very amusing!
Hehe, it is quite fun.
¡Estoy bien, gracias!
I honestly don't know what to think right now! I'm not really sure...I just want to know who the girl is! But I don't really have any thoughts on it right now.
Oh well, I suppose only time will tell, eh?
Well - er - I wouldn't say that it's more girls than guys that like their music. It's just that the girls I think like the music but also think that a certain member of the band is handsome *coughMikecough*.
Mike: Girls:
Exactly what I was thinking.
LOL!
Hey, what picture does your signature come from?
*sorry about some bad colour coordination...*
Don't apologize, it was quite entertaining.
NN95, yes, Syd is my nickname! My real name is Sydney, but since I consider all of you friends you can call me Syd! And yes, I have braces right now. I've had them for about eight months, and will have them on for another ten months -__- But yay for you getting yours off soon! You'll have a beautiful smile And those silly eating rules...I remember within the first few days of getting my braces on, I ate a snickers bar and managed to break three of them! (caramel, nuts, and sugar..ahah)
Ok, well, I didn't want to call you that by accident and then find out I had just made it up. So, I wanted to be sure it was really your nickname. Sorry you'll have yours on for so much longer! Yeah, after I'm done with my retainer, I'll be free of dental appliances in my mouth! Whee! Lol, my biggest problem is with gum. I love gum. They say only sugarless gum, because it doesn't stick to the metal, but I have yet to find any kind of gum that sticks to the metal.
Hmm, I wonder why the forum time was messed up. Anyway, what have you been doing lately?
I don't know, but it appears to be working fine now! Nothing much, just the regular routine of school every day and church on Sundays and Wednesdays.
Hey, I stopped myself!!
Just barely...
It had color!! Does that count? Ok, maybe not, since the colors didn't match...
Naw, color just makes it look flashy so the mods miss it.
Aww, Bella!! I'm sorry you lost a whole half of a post. (Of course, if you had Firefox and the Lazarus add-on, you wouldn't lose any post.... )
Haha! Well, I need your expertise to help me download Firefox, since that got cleared for my computer and it helped with alot of things. Would you be able to help me?
Hehe, you know how to download Firefox!
Oh, thanks for the information and links for downloading the AVGAntivirus!! We have Trend Micro at the moment, but it's about to expire soon (it's just the trial) so that is definitely something we need, and if y'all say it's reliable, I trust it is. Thanks!
(Speaking of Lady L, don't I miss her! )
You're quite welcome! Oh yes, AVG is the thing to get.
Oh yeah, we all do.
LOL! Well, I admitted that Firefox helped with some things, and that I need your help, so. The thing I appreciate most about IE8 - it takes less space. But that's just probably because I didn't add many add ons, yet.
Well, that's better than nothing.
Yeah, I know what you mean. It's really light and it doesn't have anything to bog it down. If you want a browser like that, I recommend Safari. I, personally, like it much better than IE, and it's featureless, so it's really light. But.... if you want a browser that actually does something....
Thanks! Yeah, I'm glad I have WiFi on it, too. For the card, yes. We had a Linksys card to put in it, and we thought it was broken, but we just didn't have it's backing driver to run it. (We have to insert it in the laptop when we want to use it, though. This version is rather old, so no inbuilt WiFi. Oh, well. Whatever works!)
Oh, I see. Yeah, my dad has one of those for his really old laptop where you actually have to put it into the PCMCIA slot. Fortunately, his new one has it built in.
Well, you can learn some things. If you just wanted to know, like, what some words are and how to construct sentences, then Rosetta Stone is helpful in some ways. But, it's more for someone who just wants to polish up a language that they already know than it is for someone who's wanting to learn it, knowing nothing about it. And, in Swahili, a few things are not said right. Some things are said in a slang accent, which annoys me...
Yeah, I suppose that would be a good way of putting it! It's just that you get a random word here and there, but they don't teach sentence structure or conjugation or subject-noun agreement, or anything like that. Never mind the more complicated things. Ahaha, that's funny... Slang Swahili.
Okay, that's good. I meant you, but you're too humble to admit you're good in Spanish, and you most likely wouldn't mock a mistake I'd make, so I'm set.
True, but turns out I have to learn Spanish for two years, and on top of that French for the other two. I'm sort of glad, but I expect to be overwhelmed by it! I hope I can just choose one, or my skills will fasten up. Pronunciation would be the hardest thing for me to learn in French, because I wouldn't want to attempt to copy the right way of saying it, messing up, and getting embarrased. *laughs*
I know, but if one thing works right once, I trust it more... Thanks for the other translator! I'll be using it...only when it's absolutely trustworthy.
That's true about the computers, which makes it more important that I should learn Spanish.
Since that's so with Spanish, I will probably learn to write and read faster than speak it. That would be a hard situation, talking to someone and not being able to process exactly what they're saying.
Yep, it is fun to find that one word is almost the same for several languages! =] Yep, "a" is masculine for them, but in one "a" is a neutral term used for objects, such as a phone or book. I think book is used with the femenine term, though. Are there any neutral terms in Spanish, or no?
Lol, well I guess that's a compliment! So, yup, you're all set!
Oh wow, I can't imagine having to learn two languages. And, besides, you've already had to learn two others. I'd have a hard time dealing with that. I'd get words confused and stuff.... Besides, I like to focus my energy to one thing, so I hope to take Spanish during the rest of high school and all through college. Lol, yeah. Fortunately, Spanish pronunciation is pretty easy, once you get the hang of it.
Yeah... well... sometimes a translator will get one sentence absolutely perfect but then mess everything else up. And then others completely mess up a particular sentence but do well in general everywhere else. Ah well, to each his own translator.
Haha, true.
I imagine. Although, usually if you can write something, you can speak it. It's just that, when you have to think of something quickly on the fly, your mind freezes. Yeah, it can get a little nerve-wracking.
Wow, that's kinda weird. Umm, there aren't really any neutral terms in Spanish, but there are letters than can be either. Such as "e". Take the word "estudiante" for example. That means "student". But it can be either masculine or feminine, depending on whether the student is a guy or a girl. But, most of the time, the ending is either masculine or feminine, not both.
D'aw, thanks! Ah, "están" I'll remember that! Yeah, they teach us "They are going to something" "They are doing something" "They have done something" yet other stuff isn't learned. :/
There is, but it's still something that you can translate them so accurately!
Haha! Then I know I can make them.
Wow, that seems way out of order. Disorganized, like you said before.
Yeah, well, like I said before, most of it was easy stuff. (And, of course, I learned it in a very organized manner. )
'Course ya can.
Ahaha, they looked like "Be careful what you hear, what you see, and what you speak" Was that what you were aiming for them to look like?
I was thinking of the phrase, "Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil." Same idea, but I think this is more commonly known.
I'm having the same trouble, so I'm afraid I won't be of any help! But, yes, it isn't a very thorough learning style.
Ah, so you admit it!
LL!!! It's been far too long since you've been in here! I'm glad it's a good sort of busy you've been having lately. Same here. Though I've not been as busy as you. Still, as long as it's not a hectic, frantic, rip-you-hair-out kind of busy, it's rewarding in the end. Glad to hear school's going well!
Lol, we have friends who are devoted Cleveland fans, and it's been a rough few years for them. Although it's not looking like our own team is going to have too stellar of a season either, so we might be getting a taste of our own medicine soon.
It has been that. Aw, that's a shame. Would you mind telling me what your home team is? If not, I understand.
Either them or the Lions. *no offense to any Detroitians( ) in the vicinity*
Oh, I've not kept up with the Lions... have they been doing poorly too? Like I said, I feel bad for anyone that lives near a not-so-great team.
Oh, and Rosetta Stone wasn't completely responsible for my bidding farewell to Spanish. I did two years, and while Spanish certainly is interesting, it wasn't what I really wanted to study--like biblical Hebrew, which I'm learning now and LOVE. So it worked out well in the end.
Oh, I see. Well, that's understandable. Personally, I absolutely love learning Spanish, but I doubt I'd be too fond of Hebrew. I guess it's just a matter of opinion. (So, that explains why you used a Hebrew word for your username, because you're studying Hebrew!)
Do you use Bob Jones for all your school?
Yes ma'am, I do. What do you use?
I suppose you are correct, Nick. When I'm tired, I'm not very happy. So, it does look like someone who is tired.
I still don't think it actually looks unhappy, per se. Just tired.
I echo your thoughts on commercials and advertising. Most other companies seem to have no problem only promoting their own product, and also be successful, so why should Mac be different? I personally am PC all the way. I've always had a PC, my family has always bought PCs, so that's part of the reason. Exactly! I suppose they think it's funny and everything. Anyway... It's always nice to see another PC fan! Yeah, a ton of software just plain doesn't work on a Mac. Yep, and, in my opinion, PCs are a lot more user-friendly and intuitive.
Oh, I see. That is quite a humorous theme. Cell phones with sword fights? Lol! Anyway, that does sound like it was quite a fun movie to make. What did you do for the trees? Mmm, yeah, you don't want to go overboard. Anyway, do let us know what you decide on.
My teeth are a little splotchy anyways, when I was a baby I had a really high fever before 6 months and that resulted to the miscoloring of my teeth
Hey, the same thing happened to me! I've finally met someone else who had the same thing happen!
I like it very much too! Onions give food extra flavor, and I feel that the people who post on the Square definitely give flavor too the Square!
I've never heard it put quite like that before, but that's a good way of looking at it!
*waves to Mel, The Royal They, and Queen Susan*
Finally done catching up! I started this post on Friday. Anyway, I hope you all have a great day! Mortereve all!

Hello all! *Waves*
I'm just stopping by to say hi...Hi! I'm really too tired to catch-up... *Waves to Queen Susan, Narnia Girl, Bella, ForeverFan, Aiden, Lady_Liln, Ruby, Benjamin, and anyone else she missed* (Sorry if I missed you I was waving to everyone on the page and anyone else who popped into my mind...) This is me... (about ready to fall asleep)
Hmm, this post appears to be lacking in substances. *Searches high and low for substance* None here, I guess the substance fairies are hiding!
See y'all!

*sticks her head in* I finally got some new DT stuff up on my website! I am so excited about how they turned out!
Life is nuts, but what else is new. I'm having fun working on the ditto story again too.
Mortereve! I'm doing my daily procrastination catchup School would be twenty times more durable if I didn't have such a difficult english class...but anyways..
Lady_Liln, I always forget to put "" around the usernames too! And you are so right, I don't know what I'd do without that preview button!
I just finished it, Narnia Girl! If you do get a hold of the book, beware of cliffhangers O.O I literally finished the book a few hours ago, but my mom isn't done with the second one and I'm dying to know what happens! I wish she could read faster!! I shouldn't even be reading, though, I have a really big essay on The Scarlet Letter to write (which I didn't like much )
How long do you have your retainer, NN95? You are so lucky! I didn't know they said no sugarless gum because it sticks to the metal, I thought it was because sugarless gum was bad for you! But yes, I love gum too! I keep two packs in my backpack, a fruity gum and a minty gum I'll chew one or the other depending on what mood I'm in! And I go through two packs once a week, because everyone always asks me for gum ;D I'm basically the gum girl, lol
Hey, the same thing happened to me! I've finally met someone else who had the same thing happen!
Yay! My dad has the exact same thing, except he doesn't really care enough about his teeth to get them whitened. He's really horrible about going to the denist too! We always tell him his teeth could fall out any moment.
Did you ever get your teeth whitened? I'm just curious about whether it goes away quickly. I know that I've tried teeth whitening strips and for the first week they look better, but after that my teeth somehow come back to their odd miscoloring...*sigh*
WinterStar, your use of the word "substance" reminds me of my science class for some reason...xP
*waves to starkat* Your new graphics are beautiful!
I'm a bit nervous about tomorrow because I have to pick up my dad at the airport, which takes about 45 minutes to get there! It'll be the longest I've ever driven by myself. I'm sure it'll all turn out fine, even though the freeway scares me a lot!

Mortereve! Hope everyone had a good Monday!
Syd, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed The Hunger Games! I've been wanting to read it, but it was recommended to me in the same breath as a book I really don't wish to read, so I was a bit wary. I believe it's also on double or triple hold at my library. Have you started the sequel yet?
The past few years I've done all my Christmas Shopping totally last minute, but I hate when I do that because I feel like my presents aren't as heart felt as they should.
I agree! Knowing you have the perfect present and anticipating the person's face when they open it is one of the best things about Christmas!
Just Ella sounds like a good book, NG! That's quite a twist on the original Cinderella story. Have you ever read Ella Enchanted?
Well My brother lives here and so me and one of my other brothers came out here to work and also there are two other other brothers here working too.
That sounds like fun! Are you doing this permanently or just for a little while?
*waves back to Aitb* <----That smiley makes me think of washing windows. I'm doing very well, thank you! Nothing too exciting; just school and Bible study last night. How are you?
Lady_Liln, that's wonderful about your grades! What is it that you're coaching?
*waves to PELS*
Narnia Girl, hope you enjoy Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs! Did you ever read the book? It was one of my favorites when I was little.
I got Isle of Fire by Wayne Thomas Batson at the library. It's a super good book, and I'm reading it for the fourth time!
That's the sequel to Isle of Swords, isn't it? I haven't read it, but IoS was a good book. The storyline and some of the twists were pretty creative! Does Isle of Fire have somewhat the same situation and characters?
If I could somehow go to Narnia, the library would be one of the first places I would visit!
Ditto! Can you imagine going to the history section and instead of Thomas Jefferson, checking out a biography of Queen Swanwhite?
I'm glad the yard sale went well!
So am I! Getting rid of all the piled-up junk feels like such a fresh start. Although you do discover some interesting items (like a stuffed lobster and a mechanical hula dancer ) that you forgot you had.
Glad your birthday went well!
I've seen two broadway shows. The Lion King and...*tries to remember* Annie Get Your Gun?
I think Lion King might be coming soon as well. Is it basically the same as the movie?
Queen Susan, I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather! Praying for you and your family!
Would you mind telling me what your home team is? If not, I understand.
I don't mind telling Narniawebbers, but posting my location where any lurker can see it makes me a bit uncomfortable. I'd be happy to PM you about it, though, if you're interested.
Oh, I've not kept up with the Lions... have they been doing poorly too?
Well, last year they went 0-16. I suppose the plus side is that they can't get any worse, but that's pretty ugly.
Personally, I absolutely love learning Spanish, but I doubt I'd be too fond of Hebrew. I guess it's just a matter of opinion.
Yup! The point is learning to communicate in a different way from what comes naturally to you. It's a wonderful experience, no matter what the language!
What do you use?
It's rather a hodge-podge of curriculum, but I use Apologia for science and Teaching Textbooks for math. Is BJU the program where you get the live satellite feed from the actual classes?
WinterStar, sorry you're so tired! Hope you get a good night's sleep!
starkat, nice VDT graphics! They look lovely!
Syd, that's neat (if a bit scary) about your drive. I'm sure you'll do fine!
So how are you all doing tonight? *waves* I'll be hanging around for a little while. *is listening to Swan Lake* Tchaikovsky's music is breathtaking!
EDIT: I'm off to bed! Have a good night everyone!

Hello everyone! *waves* I hope every one is well today. I'm pretty good myself, although I'm having some computer troubles at the moment...thankfully Dad's away all day so he is allowing me to use his, so here I am.
Fauntastic: Oh good! I'm doing well, thanks! A little bit sad that I can't do my studies since my computer isn't working, but thankfully I finished up one section yesterday so I'm not in the middle of anything. But still. (and, I'm probably the only one here who is actually put out that she can't do her school work. )
Queen Susan: Ah, it's less then a week away? I'll be praying that everything goes well and everyone is calm, although I'm sure everything will go off without a hitch.
Mmmm, that's sad about your grandfather's illness, I'll be praying for you all about that too...
~LL~: You are most welcome. *sweeps up all the confetti and stows it away for next time* We must be economical, you know.
Narnia Girl: Hmm, I'm almost done The Angel's Command by Brian Jacques, sequel to Castaways of the Flying Dutchman. It's been alright although there's been some things in it that I didn't exactly like.
Aiden: Likewise! *agrees with what he said about PCs/Macs/etc*
Hehe, yes. It was probably our 'silliest' themed movie we've ever done, although we tried to film it as a serious/epic film. Serious maybe, epic, no. We actually had a little challenge with how we did the trees. Mainly we just took some footage of random tall trees in our forest and then inserted them in the movie at the right times, and we got some friends to voice the trees. We also conveniently cut down on how much the 'star' trees were in it by having the main tree (Alice) phone Carmen whenever they were discussing plans. It was cheap, but it worked.
*waves to WinterStar* I hope you had a good rest!
Malkah: Those sound like some lovely treasures you found!
Well, I should probably be off. Cheers everyone & have a great day!
Dear days of old, with the faces in the firelight,
Kind folks of old, you come again no more.

Mortereve all!
*waves back to Winty* How goes all with you?
*waves to Kat* Good to see you drop by the Square! Glad you got your site updated with new VDT stuff.

I'm not sure. I'll get it on in a couple of weeks... then I have to wear it till the orthodontist says otherwise. Anyway, I hope it's not long. No, no, it's the other way around. Sugarless gum doesn't stick to the metal. That's why it's the only kind of gum you're allowed to have. However, like I said before, I haven't found any kind of gum that sticks to the metal, so I eat it all. Lol, I don't usually carry gum around (boys in general don't), but every once in a while I do. My friends and I are always testing out new kinds and suggesting different brands. Wow, that's a lot. It'll take me about two weeks to go through one pack! Lol, the gum girl...
Yay! My dad has the exact same thing, except he doesn't really care enough about his teeth to get them whitened. He's really horrible about going to the denist too! We always tell him his teeth could fall out any moment.

Lol, yeah, I'm like your dad. I don't care if my teeth are yellowy. Well, I always go to the dentist/orthodontist, because my mom makes me, but I'm not good at always brushing my teeth.
Nope, I've never had them whitened. Huh, that weird. Anyway, I don't know if any teeth whitening thing works as well as it looks in the ads.
I don't mind telling Narniawebbers, but posting my location where any lurker can see it makes me a bit uncomfortable. I'd be happy to PM you about it, though, if you're interested.
I totally understand! Alrighty, a PM would be great!
Well, last year they went 0-16. I suppose the plus side is that they can't get any worse, but that's pretty ugly.
Really? LOL! Wow, that is pretty bad! Hey, I suppose that's being optimistic... they can't get any worse.
Two years ago the Dolphins went 1-15, though I'm not sure how they did last year or how they're doing this year. But, that's another team that's not so great.
Yup! The point is learning to communicate in a different way from what comes naturally to you. It's a wonderful experience, no matter what the language!
Very true, and well put.
It's rather a hodge-podge of curriculum, but I use Apologia for science and Teaching Textbooks for math. Is BJU the program where you get the live satellite feed from the actual classes?
Oh, I see. I used to do a hodge-podge, too. Saxon for math, Abeka for English, etc. Now it's all BJU. Actually, there are several different options. You can just get the textbooks, of course. That's what we used to do. Or, you can sign up for satellite, and you record the lessons when they're aired. That's called HomeSat. (They're not live, of course. And often aired at awkward times, so you have to record them.) Or, if you go to an actual school that uses BJU press, but they don't have a teacher to teach the classes, there's this thing called LINC where a live teacher at the BJ studio teaches a class to students all around the country. They can call in with questions and answer questions from the teacher right on this thing called an IRU (Interactive Response Unit). But, unfortunately, BJU has to stop the HomeSat and LINC services. Now, they have DVD courses and online courses. These are just recordings from HomeSat and LINC classes put on a DVD. That's what I use. [/ramble]

I suppose so, if not a little too ecofreak-ish. Hehe, whatever works, I suppose. So, no Ent-like movements on the part of the trees? Or is your CGI department being lazy? Wouldn't it be great to have access to all sorts of professional equipment!
I just lost my post, and I was getting really excited, but then Firefox got it back for me and I didn't get to use Lazarus.
Wow, this catchup didn't take long to write! Well, I'm off! Mortereve all!
