Good mortereve, all! And, HAPPY FRIDAY :D/ ! How is everyone this beautiful Friday evening? :) I'm doing quite well! Yesterday was an extremely busy day! Tonight I am re-watching Iron Man because I couldn't find any place that was carrying Raiders of the Lost Ark :( . Today has been fairly uneventful.
Last night I got to the part in Jane Eyre where Things are starting to get more exciting in the book :D ! Now, it is time to CATCHUP!

Firstly...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FOREVERFAN!!!

Well, no... ;)) But I still can't wait, even if one's not in the plan yet. 😉

Haha! Oh, I see. ;) :D

Nooo, it's still 9 pages, EP. :p I haven't read much in it recently, I'm afraid. Been caught up with school and reading. I've been doing well, thanks. I started volleyball classes back on Monday, which I really enjoyed, and I went to the library yesterday. :) What about you?

Well...it is I'm sure quite an undertaking reading the Dictionary! You play volleyball? Cool! I never have been much into sports. Ah! the Library. 'tis a wonderful place. There is so much knowledge in a Library. For me? School, reading, braces, tours, and the like. *Sighs* :)

Just popping in to say "hi" to a few people! And then I must return to my Geometry homework. :)

*Waves to Ruby* Hi! How are you? Busy, I'm sure. :)

Anyway, yes, it is an interesting mystery as to who Gael might be. I find the newest video (of Lucy and Edmund's reaction) interesting. It's almost like, "Well, we knew this would come eventually, but it's sad to see them finally go." What are your thoughts?

I honestly don't know what to think right now! I'm not really sure...I just want to know who the girl is! But I don't really have any thoughts on it right now. :-s :) ;))

Edmund P, I find your signature exceedingly nice. =D

Why, thank you, Jojo! :)

Thanks for the welcome Edmund P, and good luck with braces! The first week you'll want to crumple up in a corner and cry, but after that you'll barely notice them (: And think of the beatiful smile you'll have when its finished! Just remember to always do everything your orthodontist tells you to (almost...I don't think anyone follows all of the strict food rules about what you can and cannot eat!) But always make sure you brush, and wear your rubber bands, etc...

Your welcome! Thanks, I'll need it I'm sure 8-| .I know! That's what I keep thinking of, a beautiful smile is waiting for me at the end! Oh I know! One of my sisters didn't follow one of the rules...and what do you know! Stained splotch-y places where the braces were. I know all of the rules. I've been through it many times with my other siblings. How have you been, malkah? :)

Oh yes, and I hope, Edmund P, that your process of getting braces isn't a huge hassle and all. I've never had them so I have no words of advice, or "I know how you feel" sentiments to give, but I do hope they don't bother you too terribly much.

I certainly hope not. Haha! Lucky you. I think I shall be fine after week. :) Thanks for the kind words :) .

Edmund P, school is going... good, actually. If you can believe that. ;) I hope the same for yours! It gets so hard in Highschool.

That great, Pebbles! Yes, school is going quite smoothly thus-far. *Sighs* Yes, it does get rather hard in High-School.

I would have loved to have seen that. ;))

;)) It was pretty funny. If a concert is heading your way, you should definitely go to it! Oh, and I see that you play guitar! So do I :D . I'm actually going to go pick up one tomorrow so that I can resume my lessons after a hiatus. I've been taking for a little more than 3 years. :)

Haha! I just noticed your sig. That's pretty cool that you're the first male member of the TAN club. Hmm. I wonder why more girls than guys in general seem to like their music. :p

Yes, it is pretty cool! Well - er - I wouldn't say that it's more girls than guys that like their music. It's just that the girls I think like the music but also think that a certain member of the band is handsome *coughMikecough*. =)) :D ;))

Mike: B-) Girls: :-c

Betsie, how have you been?! It's been awhile since I last spoke with you! :) :D

Edmund P: I'm glad to hear that your back has been slightly better- although the injection does not sounds like fun! Would it be a one time thing?
I've been pretty good myself, thanks!, dealing with a somewhat cold right now (which involves mostly coughing, and lots of it), but at least I can sleep well and not have a sore throat that bothers me. :)

Yes, it would only be a one time thing :) . Aww, I'm sorry to hear that you have a cold! Sore throats are the worst! :( :-s

I've been doing really well, I thank you. :) How have you been doing?

Great! I've been doing quite well for the most part! School and reading keep me busy. The end of October and beginning of November is going to be really busy. :-s Other than that, I've been great! :)

And yet another catchup post is completed. Have a great mortereve everyone! :)

I met Georgie and Skandar AND saw the film in one evening.

Moretereve, all!!

All right, the sole reason of this post is to wish Fanny a very happy birthday! :D
(Fanny, I'm so sorry I wasn't around the Square then, so I hope this post will suffice for the belated birthday wish! )

So,

A huge, filled with: the biggest load of pleasant books, hot cocoa, summer afternoons with soft, grassy fields that extend so far, with many shady trees to read under, and decorated with Zinnia's, Roses, Violets, Fox Gloves, Morning Glories, Poinsettias, Lillies, with colourful butterflies and filled with all matter of quaint delights, and all the Lord's blessings and a...
(Hm, I don't know if all this gramatically fits!)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our dearest Fanny!! :D/

It's the weekend!! I'm so excited, too! My high school varsity football team has a home game tonight, but every time I plan to go I get called to babysit. Not that I mind babysitting, the family I watch has the best kids! (two sets of twins, and a little girl in between the two sets.) They are really angels, and I never imagined watching two one-year-olds would be so simple! I definitely don't mind missing a football game if I get to be payed instead, haha.

Narnia Girl, I love going to the library! There's soo many books! ;;) You'll have to let me know what good books you are reading. As for me, I've just started reading The Hunger Games. It's so different than the type of books I usually read, but it's surprisingly VERY good. I couldn't put it down last night!

If you don't catchup until July 18th, 2087, Betsie, you might be reading all the posts for a year...xD

Hello ForeverFan! Do you mind if I call you Fanny? But yes, its such a happy place here at the Town Square! I love hearing about everyone's day and meeting new friends ;))
NN95, yes, Syd is my nickname! My real name is Sydney, but since I consider all of you friends you can call me Syd! ;)) And yes, I have braces right now. I've had them for about eight months, and will have them on for another ten months -__- But yay for you getting yours off soon! You'll have a beautiful smile :D And those silly eating rules...I remember within the first few days of getting my braces on, I ate a snickers bar and managed to break three of them! (caramel, nuts, and sugar..ahah) ;))

Exactly right! A SquareOnion is a resident of the Town Square.

okay! I assumed it was something along those lines xD

Mel, remind me not to EVER be near you on a dark, rainy night when I'm home alone... ;)

Kat, have fun on your camping trip! If it was me, I'd probably fake sick or something...I absolutely LOATHE camping! The first time I ever slept in a tent in the woods was this summer when we had a youth camping trip too, and it was the worst experience! The ground was uncomfortable and I was soo cold...I prefer to sleep inside, thank you. ;)) I'm a firm believer that camping isn't necessary when there are hotels!!

Is it really only THREE MONTHS, Djaq??? Oh my, I need to get started planning what gifts I'm going to give all the members of my family! The past few years I've done all my Christmas Shopping totally last minute, but I hate when I do that because I feel like my presents aren't as heart felt as they should...and giving the best gifts I can is the best part about Christmas!! :D

I'll try to get a picture of the cake posted when we upload them to the computer.

Yay! I love looking at pretty cakes! The Food Network has become one of my favorite channels recently, because I love seeing how people do these amazing different dishes...its fascinating!

Well that's all from me for today!

Mortereve all!

You're welcome, FF! I'm glad you had a great day. :)
I'm not super good at volleyball either, but I am enjoying it. Our instructor is really friendly and helpful, and she showed us how to serve the ball.
My little brother is starting to feel better this morning. He's more energetic, and he's bouncing up and down a lot - that's a sure sign that he's better. ;)
Well, I got a book called Just Ella by Margaret Peterson Haddix at the library. At first it started out like the Cinderella story - a girl named Ella went to a ball, fell in love with the prince, the glass slipper fit, and they went back to the palace together. But a couple weeks before their wedding, Ella decided she didn't like life at the palace, and that she didn't truly love the prince. She tried to tell him that, and he was so upset that he threw her into a dungeon. But Ella found a shovel and used it to dig out of the dungeon, and she escaped and eventually found her old tutor, a young man named Jed, and they fell in love. :) It was a really exciting story.

Me too, NN95.
Hmm, I wonder why the forum time was messed up. Anyway, what have you been doing lately? :)

Wow, 130 WPM? That's fast, especially compared to me, MA. :p I probably only type about 60 or 70 WPM. Yeah, I'm kinda slow plus I like to take my time.
Ooh, have fun with your youth group on the camping trip! Sounds like fun!

I guess I'll continue, Djaq. I keep reminding myself that it's for a GVB CD! :p (Oh, btw, I've been meaning to ask you, do you have a nickname?)
Still, it must have been a fun experience, Djaq, getting to cut the cake. ;) Oh, you're right, yesterday was three months till Christmas. *squeal* I can't wait.

To be honest, EP, I've never been much into sports either (give me a book any day!) but my mom wanted my sister and I to get more experience playing different sports, so...she signed us up for volleyball. But, I am enjoying it a lot. :)
Oh, yes, the library is a wonderful place. I could spend hours there.

Well, fauntastic, recently I read Princess of the Midnight Ball by Jessica Day Georgie, and I read Dragon Slippers by Jessica Day Georgie recently, as well. I love fantasy. Oh, I've never heard of The Hunger Games. What's that about?

Ketchup is...done. Today my mom and sister and I are visiting my aunt, who lives about an hour away, and we're spending the day shopping together. (The four of us always choose a day to go shopping together, every couple months. :p ) Of course, I'm bring along a book to read in the car. A whole hour of reading...yes... *rubs hands eagerly* ;) Well, I must go now. Have a lovely day, everyone!

Ok, so I'm swamped with homework too, but it's Saturday and I actually have time to make a real post! Yay! I'm so happy! :) Catch-up time! :D :D

Ah yes, I'm afraid it's busy for all of us. Whew, what would we do without sleep! And Saturday mornings! *contented sigh* ;)) Oh yes, NarniaWeb is a good place to come after a busy day! :) Things are going fine here. I have to say that things aren't extremely busy yet... just the normal school busy. Though things should be livening up within the next few weeks, especially as I get deeper into school.

Yes! Saturday mornings are the best! I actually more than six hours of sleep last night! :) :) I was really tired and sore thought this morning because I had dance practice yesterday and then right after that I went camping...but I'm still happy! :) :) How's school going, by the way?

Ruby-Winter wrote:Good evening ladies and germs--

Hey, I stopped myself!! :p

It does have some sort of substance... odd though it may be. Kidding. :P ;)

It had color!! Does that count? :-s Ok, maybe not, since the colors didn't match...

Aww. I love the visuals in this show. It's one of your best yet!

*laughs*

Winter accidentally almost wrote "Rubies" instead of "rubies" and I had this horrible mental image of a shower of me's... *shudders*

Ahhhh..... I'm overloaded with homework :(

You too?? :(

Ruby and Winter, y'alls joint-posts are stupendously funny! I'm still waiting to join with some friends and do that. Lissa and I could do one together, I 'spose, but that would be just crazy. ;)

Like our joint posts aren't crazy? ;)

Fair Ruby, I do believe that we have met before. And the same conversation took place then; I think we keep re-introducing ourselves, which is fine with me.

I think I've done that with a lot of people on NarniaWeb. :P

Everything's going pretty well here. I'm really swamped with homework...

Oh RubyGamgee, sorry to hear about your backpack! I think I'd start to cry if I left my backpack at my friends house. Although at my school, we don't carry around text books so most of my homework and important papers are in my backpack...but at least there wasn't anything urgently needed in there!

We got my back-pack back the next day, so everything turned out well. :) :) I'm very thankful, because it could have been a lot worse. :P

*is upset that she missed FF's birthday* Happy belated birthday, FF!!! :D :D

Well, I enjoyed it, Ruby! :p I'm great, thanks! I've just started volleyball classes, and that has been fun! What about you?

Volleyball sounds like fun! I haven't played it in a while. :) Oh, I'm back to the normal routine now. Haha. If I have one. Everything gets crazy, gets quiet again, gets crazy again...you know. I'm trying to get piano lessons somewhere into my schedule, but it isn't working, so far. :P

Yup! Things are going great here! :D

Ah! Good to know you're not dying or anything like that. ;) :)

It's a picture of me standing at a gate looking at the sun...

It's a beautiful picture! I love the editing you did on it. :)

Excellent show, RinterSamgee!! ;) ;)) Quite, uh, entertaining. :P

RinterSamgee???? Where did that come from??? *laughing*

*Waves to Ruby* Hi! How are you?Busy, I'm sure. :)

Yes, busy!! But I'm also happy, because today (Saturday) I actually got to sleep in for a change!!! Nowhere to go today. :) :) I have the whole day to myself...and my homework. :P

Hi Benjamin!! How are you?

MissA!!! Guess what!!! I got Winter into Tenth Avenue North music!!! :-$ Sh! Don't tell her I said that! ;)

Well, I'm sad to say, that's all I have time for...time to return to homework! I have a lot of Latin to work on and a couple essays to write. Fairwell all you square onions!

God Bless! :)

Hello all! *Waves*

I'm just stopping by to say hi! I know I have a major catch-up looming, but I'm WAY too tired to try and deal with it. I also have a lot of homework. :p At this rate, I probably won't catch-up till next weekend. *Sigh* Real life is such a pain...

Mortereve, all!

Ugh, I had just typed up half of a catchup post, used the "save" button, thinking it would save it, and it didn't! 😐 Now I have to retype the whole thing over again. There will be a whole load of skimming...

Anyhow, catchup: If I miss anything anyone has said to me, I'm sorry! And really, do point it out if I have; I'll be skimming a whole lot, so it most likely will happen.

Jojo!! :D It's wonderful to see you in the Square at last! It's funny, the other day, CS hadn't recognized you were you and thought someone took the icon from you. She was all shocked, which sent me laughing alot. :))

*waves back to Queen S* We seem to be very waveable to each other. ;) How have you been faring?

*waves to King Lune* "Infectionately"? Ahaha! At first, I thought it had said "Inaffectionately." :P

*waves back to Cor* Hello, there! And, how have you been doing? :)

Bella: Yes! Window washing was quite fun, especially since our friend's windows were this really cool design that made it easier for us. It's hard to explain, (I could try, but I think it might give you a bad impression of the windows... ) but, firstly, they were the kind of windows that slide up and down, and, when they're 'down', they could tip inwards, so the outdoor side was easier to wash. We liked it.

Your friend's windows sound very interesting! I think I can visualize what they look like, but I don't know if I'm imagining the right thing. ;)) But, I can see why you like them! They sound very fun to clean. We are scheduled to wash windows some time near, which I'm looking forward too. (That sounded a bit unordinary... ;;) :P )

That's nice that the little boy you baby sat was well-behaved! Yes, it is always nice when little kids are polite.

*waves to Broadway, or should I say Elphaba?* ;) Heh, some kids have a habit of doing the darndest things, and that is quite an amusing story! At Cubbies (the Awana for the 3-4 year olds), they dip their Ritz Crackers in Water. It's... 8-}

*waves to her dear triplet,Pebbles* Hiya! :D I like your new avatar! :)

I have students who read the dictionary. For fun.

I can relate - I love reading the dictionary and thesaurus for literary purposes, so I can have more colourful wording when I write. ^^

Well, that's neat that you're playing tennis, Bella. I've never played tennis before.
Oh, that's good! I love playing the piano.

Thanks! Actually, we haven't gone back and played again, like we were supposed to. Well, atleast, I haven't. :P I can't wait 'till I'm actually good, but "perfect practice makes perfect" so I'll have to start practicing to make that wish come true. ;)) Aw, I hope you can play it sometime! :)
Ditto! How's piano playing coming along for you? Playing any new, fun pieces? :)
Haha, that's interesting about the deal. I hope you reach your goal!

*waves to Ruby* So, you and JealousOfTheMoon are sisters? How neat! :)
JotM, I don't think we've met, but I remember seeing you on TLC! You can call me AitB or Bella (not from Twilight.) :) I've heard that you're hilarious, and have awesome fanfiction from a reliable source. (MonkeySaru) ;) :P

And you didn't ask me first? I'm offended! :P Anyway, I'm glad they're working! :D :-bd

Haha! Well, I need your expertise to help me download Firefox, since that got cleared for my computer and it helped with alot of things. Would you be able to help me? :)

Oh, thanks for the information and links for downloading the AVGAntivirus!! :D We have Trend Micro at the moment, but it's about to expire soon (it's just the trial) so that is definitely something we need, and if y'all say it's reliable, I trust it is. Thanks! :)
(Speaking of Lady L, don't I miss her! :( )

Or you could get Firefox which is 10 times better. ( ;)) )

LOL! Well, I admitted that Firefox helped with some things, and that I need your help, so. ;) The thing I appreciate most about IE8 - it takes less space. But that's just probably because I didn't add many add ons, yet. :P

Thanks! Yeah, I'm glad I have WiFi on it, too. For the card, yes. We had a Linksys card to put in it, and we thought it was broken, but we just didn't have it's backing driver to run it. (We have to insert it in the laptop when we want to use it, though. This version is rather old, so no inbuilt WiFi. Oh, well. Whatever works!)

Personally, I don't see how anyone can learn anything on it. I'm sure it works for some people just fine, don't get me wrong, but it seems so random and disorganized, like you said.

Well, you can learn some things. If you just wanted to know, like, what some words are and how to construct sentences, then Rosetta Stone is helpful in some ways. But, it's more for someone who just wants to polish up a language that they already know than it is for someone who's wanting to learn it, knowing nothing about it. And, in Swahili, a few things are not said right. Some things are said in a slang accent, which annoys me... :P

I guess not, but not too many people around here know much Spanish, so you should be all set. :P
I agree that French sounds very pretty, but it's harder to learn—especially pronunciation—and you're right, you'll be able to use Spanish a lot more.
Oh, I see.
Well, just because a translator translated one thing correctly doesn't mean it'll do everything right. If you don't mind a suggestion, here is an excellent translator. But, like I've said before, a computer is never perfect and will often make mistakes since the meaning of a word or phrase is often determined by its context and a computer can't determine that. [/ramble]
Yes, Spanish is much easier to read and write than speak and understood spoken. Not that it's hard to speak it or understand it spoken, it just takes more time to think about it in your head, and when you're having a conversation, you don't have much time to figure out what someone said and determine a response.
Ah, I see. Well there are often similarities between languages (cognates), and they're always fun to find. Oh, "a" is masculine in those other languages? Hmm, that's interesting.

Okay, that's good. I meant you, but you're too humble to admit you're good in Spanish, and you most likely wouldn't mock a mistake I'd make, so I'm set. :P
True, but turns out I have to learn Spanish for two years, and on top of that French for the other two. I'm sort of glad, but I expect to be overwhelmed by it! I hope I can just choose one, or my skills will fasten up. :P Pronunciation would be the hardest thing for me to learn in French, because I wouldn't want to attempt to copy the right way of saying it, messing up, and getting embarrased. *laughs*
I know, but if one thing works right once, I trust it more... :P Thanks for the other translator! I'll be using it...only when it's absolutely trustworthy.
That's true about the computers, which makes it more important that I should learn Spanish. ;))
Since that's so with Spanish, I will probably learn to write and read faster than speak it. That would be a hard situation, talking to someone and not being able to process exactly what they're saying. ;))
Yep, it is fun to find that one word is almost the same for several languages! =] Yep, "a" is masculine for them, but in one "a" is a neutral term used for objects, such as a phone or book. I think book is used with the femenine term, though. Are there any neutral terms in Spanish, or no?

It's not something little at all, but rather it's something fundamental to being able to speak Spanish! :) One little problem with the grammar: it should be "están" since the subject is plural. Otherwise, it's great! I'm surprised you're learning present progressive verb forms already, but that just goes along with the disorganized style that Rosetta has.
There's a big gap between being fluent and being able to translate a few sentences. :P
Aw, come on, we all make mistakes. :P

D'aw, thanks! Ah, "están" I'll remember that! :) Yeah, they teach us "They are going to something" "They are doing something" "They have done something" yet other stuff isn't learned. :/
There is, but it's still something that you can translate them so accurately! :P
Haha! Then I know I can make them. ;))

(Haha, just now thought of putting those together. ;)) )

Ahaha, they looked like "Be careful what you hear, what you see, and what you speak" Was that what you were aiming for them to look like? :P

Bella! And Ella! That was far too long of an absence from both of you. It's wonderful to see you two. And I'm very glad you got your computer in tip-top shape, Bella!

Poggy! :D It was a far too long absence. I miss talking to you in chat alot! :( But, it's wonderful to talk to you now. :) Thanks! It's working rather nice now *patpats computer* What have you been up to lately? :D I like the new guitar, btw. :-bd

Hm, my catching up is all out of sorts. I remember saying something to Mel, and Dennie but I can't seem to find their following posts, even though I'm sure I posted one and they did too. Maybe that was a while ago...*sighs*

Heh heh, Bella. A translator, eh? :-o No wonder I didn't understand some of those words. Usually when someone is just starting spanish, I can understand everything they say.

Haha! Yes, I did use a translator there. (*doesn't know exactly how the smiley fits, but uses it anyway*
Can you, really? Do you know Spanish well, then? :D

Ok, this is the third time I've tried to reply to you. Three's a charm, right?
Ah, I see.
Oh, how silly of me! A broom closet is far too obvious, you're right! A pantry is far more subtle and far less likely to be noticed. You can always blame the missing food on being a growing girl can't you?
Yeah, learn-it-yourself isn't very easy for things like another language. In regular school it's easier to be independent becasue you have something of a foundation to stand on.
Yup! I think I'll ride the same horse most of the time. It's a small ranch and they only have two horses they can use for lessons. (Three of the horses had foals this spring and two of them are really stressed because the foals are being weened.) It has been really fun thus far, even with the horse going the opposite direction all the time. Apparently, she does that when she knows you have control and wants to see how much. She also likes to step on people's feet. I think she believes in "No pain, No gain" for her riders.

Is this your third time? Funny, it's my third time trying to catchup, too! (Although, I'd better succeed this time! ;) ) Yes, three's definitely a charm! :D
Right, right a pantry is less suspicious. And, what's even more hidden is a room behind the pantry! And we treat said transalator very well. ^^ Yes, that's a lovely excuse, no?
True! I like the way we've learnt our other languages, which is my mom teaching us step by step; even though we don't know how to speak it, we can use grammer in it successfully. :)
Oh, that's really nice! And that it's a small ranch makes it better. D'aw, little foals. Did you get to see them? :) I'm glad you're enjoying it, horse back riding is really a joy. Haha! That's interesting about the horse. And she steps on people's toes, you say? :-o Ouch! "No pain, No gain"? LOL!!

Why, thank-you, Djaq! :) How have you been lately?

I love the song "O Come O Come Immanuel"! It's so beautiful.

That's one of my favourites, it is indeed very beautiful! :)

*waves to malkah* :-h How are you doing? :)

*waves back to flam* I've been doing pretty well, thanks. Keeping busy with school and of course, reading. And how about you? :)

I've been doing pretty well, Ed P. :) Ah, for the Spanish you wrote, may you transalate? :P *is feeling lazy, at the moment*

fauntastic, I don't think we've met! You can call me AitB or Bella (not from Twilight) :D I really like your username, btw! And I hear you go by Syd? May I call you so? :)

I also had trouble with the learning style of Rosetta Stone...Any new ideas on learning Spanish???

I'm having the same trouble, so I'm afraid I won't be of any help! But, yes, it isn't a very thorough learning style. :(

I guess I am the mother of your triplet...I wasn't aware of this...lol

And same here! ^^ Pebbles is also my sweet triplet.

Likewise. I wonder if Bella is weird too, since she's our triplet.

LOL!! As Djaq suggested, asking Ella is the best way to do so. Although, I can flat-out admit that I am...unique, though. ;) ;;) :P
Pebbles, it's quite amusing how often we get mixed for each other, isn't it? :P

Aw, I'm sorry that you lost all of that! We've had a lot of computer problems before, and I don't know how much longer this one is going to last...

Thanks for your sympathy! :) :P Aw, I hope it lasts long enough!

Do you need any screencaps from it, or are you just wanting to make quote graphics? Here's a site that has screencaps, if you need them.

Thanks for the link for the screencaps! :) Actually, I had meant that I have The Princess Bride book on hold. ;)) And, if I really like it, I will make quote graphics and perhaps screencaps ones for it. :D

*waves to the other various Square Onions--and one Square Potato* :P

*chuckles* *The Square Potato is waved at, and wonders how to wave back, since onions have layers that can be made into hands, but potatoes do not 😮
Actual Square potatoes would be so easier to make fries with, don't ya think? ;))

Herro Bella!! What's new? So sorry about your computer! Is there no recovery of any of it? THAT is a sad day! Are you going to get another laptop?
So fun that you're reading Eight Cousins!! That, and its sequel, Rose in Bloom, are two of my favorite books EVER! Such a sweet story. What kind of graphics are you going to make from it?

Why, hello there Dame Lel...Lissa! :D Nothing much is new here, lamentingly. Apart from Biology, Algebra, etc. and all that stuff, there's not much. *sighs* How's life as a graduated, high collegian? ;)
Aw, yes, it is rather sad about my computer. But, we did recover it somehow by clearing it all, which was a hard step but needed. So, thankfully we didn't have to get a different laptop! :D Although, yes, later on I'd like another, newer laptop if this one dies soon. (Which I hope won't happen, but it's not impossible. :( )

Yes, I do love that book! :D Rose in Bloom and Eight Cousins are some of my favourites, too! Such enjoyable books they are. =] Lousia May Alcott's books are lovely pieces of work, aren't they? I'll probably be making quote signatures from them. ^^ I wish they made a movie for it!
By the way, it's more than loverly to see you back posting in the Square!

Hey Aslanisthebest, all your computer problems sound really really awful! D: I hope you are able to get a new one soon! And algebra...that was one of my favorite classes! I love math

Yes, they were awful! But, "they came to pass." =] So, I can keep using this one, thankfully.
Algebra is slightly becoming a general favourite in my mind, I've grasped the concept, and am understanding it more, so that's good! :) Do you love math? You'll get along famously with my sister, CSLewisNarnia. ;)

Jojo, you caught up that much? Wow! 😮
And, no need to worry about hurrying in repliying to the poetry!
*laughs at Jojo's kindergarten antics*

Hey hey...one thing I DO Love about this forum is that you can search for keywords in posts which saves on tons of searching. I can do a quicker catchup if I look for where my name was mentioned.

:O You can do that?!That would save alot of time, and help mightily. Pray tell, how do you do so? ;;)

Ruby and Winter, wonderful Ruby-Winter post there! I enjoyed it very much. :)

*Ruby and Winter spin and disapear in a shower of rubies and snowflakes*

*loves that part of the post most* ^^

Betsie!!! :D *waves back to Betsiewho'sgotinmyheadthatsong and then gives her a bug hug-tackle!* It is wonderful to see you! How have you been doing?
And, I saw your collection of books in the Books thread! Wow! I am blown like..like...like a weak leaf in the gusty Fall wind! So many books, and so many lovely ones too! May I come over, pretty please? ;;)

What's the answer to Ella's riddle? I don't get it... 8-}

I can give you and Fanny a hint to it, if you'd like. :-$

Well, after all that skimming I'm DONE! :D/ Ain't I the happiest person alive, at the moment? ^^

*waves to Cep, Ben, Ana, and everyone else!*
I'll be around. Goodness, that post took me around 3 hours. Hm, I don't think the font colour fits the groove...I found a nicer one, but it was a tone too light. :/

M'orderve Onion Squares!

(looks to and fro...or possibly fro and to)

Is anyone here? Halloo!!

(spots PELS by the fountain)

Ah! Greetings to you, my child! I trust all is well with you and yours? We (the Royal family, as well as the Royal We) are doing as well as can be expected under the circumstances...which seem to have escaped me at the moment.

At any rate, I must be off! Carry on!

Mortereve! It's a lovely Saturday, is it not? :D

I'm just splendid (and procrastinating an english assignment). But there we go again with the Square Onions..xP but Hi Poggy! I haven't chatted with you in awhile it seems (:

I'm glad you're well. :D Haha, yep, the Square is the perfect place to hide from assignments. ;) Yes, Square Onions. I find it to be a very endearing name. :p
I know, we haven't talked in a while! And I missed your birthday. :( I really did mean to say happy birthday. Haha, you still do that trademark backwards smile of yours, I see. ;)
Um...are you the Syd that does those vlogs on youtube and thought she saw a dead body in the mall? :p

@NG ;)) Well, keep up the reading. How many pages do you have to read? Hopefully you have a small-ish dictionary. ;) I can whistle slightly. :p

@Mel How exciting that you're going to be a bridesmaid! I'm afraid I can't help you as I don't know anything much beyond what you stated. ;)

Have fun on that camping trip of yours, MissA! Haha, an iPhone in the woods. That would be awesome. :p

It was pretty funny. If a concert is heading your way, you should definitely go to it! Oh, and I see that you play guitar! So do I . I'm actually going to go pick up one tomorrow so that I can resume my lessons after a hiatus. I've been taking for a little more than 3 years.

I almost went and saw them about a month ago, but ended up not going. :( I think they're coming back to my part of the world in early December, so maybe I can go then. :D All these reports have convinced me I'll love it. :p
Oh cool, a fellow guitarist! What type of guitar will you be getting? (Meaning acoustic or electric)

Poggy! It was a far too long absence. I miss talking to you in chat alot! But, it's wonderful to talk to you now. Thanks! It's working rather nice now *patpats computer* What have you been up to lately? I like the new guitar, btw.

Yes I know, I never see you in chat anymore. :( Do you still get on often? I haven't been on as much lately.
I'm glad your computer is working like it should. :p
Why thank you. ;;)

*Waves to King Lune from under her peach tree* Hullo your majesty! How is the royal household?

;)) Yeah, that's for sure. :p I've been doing well! I'm very excited for tomorrow--my favorite day of the week! 😀 How've you been?

Hm, that's all I have to reply to. :p

Anyway, today I finally finished my Table Display for the History Festival! Yay! Who knows, maybe I'll post pics later... We'll see. :)

Talk to you all later!

Mortereve, all!

I've missed being in here! Life has been crazy busy. #:-s A good kind of busy, but not leaving a lot of online time. :( I've read through most of the pages I've missed, but I don't have the leisure time to catch up.

I'll spare you the boring/ranty details about college, but the high points have been:
1) Getting a A on my A&P exam :D
2) Good grades on the weekly A&P lab quizzes
3) An A on my first Nutrition test (this is the course that also offers 100 bonus points just for coming to the majority of classes over the semester (5 point bonus point activities at most classes) :-bd )
4) Soc and Chem are going as well as can be expected (they're my headache classes of the semester 8-| ); I haven't had my first exam in the former yet and the latter's grade hasn't been posted yet. :-

Coaching is going well; some of my kids can get. . . frustrating, but all in all, it's a rewarding, exciting job. 8-} ;) :D

I'll hopefully be able to stick around tonight. 's to all!

Gooood mortereve, everyone! :D How are you all?

*flops onto a bench* I'm wiped! We had a major garage sale today, getting rid of clutter so we can (hopefully) start readying for a move. All the preparation was pretty tiring, although the end result is worth it, of course. :) Then the cleanup and after that a birthday party for a friend...so the day has been long indeed. (-| ;)

Time to catchup on the last few pages:

*tips his hat to malkah and Pebbles*

*curtsies back* Hello! Do you mind if I ask what your username means? :)

SPELC, thank you for your lovely comment about my username. I quite like yours as well; it's fun that yours and PELS' are similar! ;)

I feel bad for people that live somewhere in which the home team stinks. *coughClevelandcough*

Lol, we have friends who are devoted Cleveland fans, and it's been a rough few years for them. ;)) ;) Although it's not looking like our own team is going to have too stellar of a season either, so we might be getting a taste of our own medicine soon. :-s ;)

Whenever we think of a horrible football team, the Browns come to mind.

Either them or the Lions. :p *no offense to any Detroitians( :- ) in the vicinity*

Oh, and Rosetta Stone wasn't completely responsible for my bidding farewell to Spanish. I did two years, and while Spanish certainly is interesting, it wasn't what I really wanted to study--like biblical Hebrew, which I'm learning now and LOVE. :D So it worked out well in the end. ;)

Do you use Bob Jones for all your school?

I know the answer so... It's: "Air1" I think.

Ah, I see! Thank you! :)

I remember the welcome that I got when I first came to the Square. I love how friendly everyone is!

Ditto! :) Narniaweb in general is a very welcoming place, but the Square has a double dose of lovely-ness.

Do you like the show?

I definitely do! What are some of your favorite characters (other than Djaq, of course ;) )?

The equine therapy sounds like a really neat program! That's awesome you get to impact the kids' lives in that special way. :)

It's like they pick at least one annoying song per year, and play it all the time just to bug us.

Hey, I think you're right! Conspiracy alert! :p

I actually got a hippopotamus a couple years ago. :))

Awww. ;)) That doesn't sound too bad! Although I suppose that could change based on what kind of hippopotamus it happened to be... ;)

Hello Lissa! Nice to meet you! :) *returns both the curtsy and the handshake* Ooh, Eight Cousins and Rose in Bloom are favorites of mine as well; have you read other books by Louisa May Alcott?

I trust everyone's healthy??

Healthy as a horse, thank you very much! (I've never understood that expression, by the way. WHY would a horse be healthier than any other creature? :p )

Cor, good to know about The Wind and the Lion! I'm in need of some good films lately--I'll try and pick it up.

We're going to the library today, and I cannot wait...we go to the library about twice a week, but I really never get bored of it.

That's great you are able to go twice a week! What books did you get this time?

And speaking of libraries, I just noticed that for your location you put "Cair Paravel's library."

Yes indeed. :D Two of my greatest passions in life are Narnia and books, so Narnian books... :x ;)

I was just 40 years old when I discovered I really like coffee.

Hehe, I didn't discover that until I was up at 5 every morning for almost three weeks and needed caffeine jolts to make it through the day. (-| The taste still doesn't live up to the smell, though.

*extends hand, then tips hat without shaking Malkah's hand, then returns to a handshaking gesture, and finally just hugs* ;)

*watches the various gestures with slight confusion, then gladly returns the hug* :p ;) Is it alright if I call you Jojo?

Ruby and I cleaned about three years worth of junk out of my closet!

Three years? You both are brave. ;) Did you find anything unexpected? :p

Ah-er-ok, I just saw your signature and I assume that you do listen to TAN ;))

Just a bit. Not an obsession or anything of the kind, of course. :p ;) How did you hurt your back?

Oh, and ForeverFan, happy two-days-late birthday! :) Hope you had a lovely day!

Particularly THHB. Not sure why, but that one emerged as my favorite.

That's probably my favorite as well! It really captures the feeling of the book, and the casting is absolutely splendid. :) (Well, except for Hwin. ;) )

Malkah, you should see Wicked! It was near me this summer, but I unfortuneatly could not go ): Almost everyone I knew went though, and LOVED it! I'm sure it's outstanding, and really amaze you if it is your first Broadway production!

I'm sorry you couldn't go! :( I'm really hoping I can, but I am encountering the Sold-Out Nature of Famous Broadway Shows right now. It might work out though; here's to hoping! :) Have you seen any other Broadway productions?

And plus, I'll be very jealous of you.

Oooh, now I REALLY have to go! :p

But they were there, just… not in the “Newton” form. :P

;)) Good point! Although, we don't really know for sure, do we? :p

Haha, you're making me want a peach now.

;))

They've released a few albums before Over and Underneath that were independent and not signed.

I didn't know that! Are they hard to get a hold of? Oh, and enjoy camping! :)

Narnia Girl, hope your little brother is feeling better! Are you going to go see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs some other time?

How have you been, malkah?

I've been doing great, although tired! (See beginning of post) Oh, and I believe it was fauntastic who wrote the bit about the braces that you quoted--I've never had them. ;) I hope the braces go well for you though!

Mike: B-) Girls: :-c

*simultaneously snickers and sighs in frustration*

*comes to end of p. 32 and thinks it is a good place to stop* I'll finish up tomorrow. Good night and a blessed Sunday to you all! :)

*walks into the Town Square, reflecting quietly on the old Forum and the old Town Square.. sigh*

Now to do a small catchup- or shall I say ketchup? ;;)

Fauntastic, SquareOnion is a word we use to descibe our fellow Square chums. I hope you don't mind being called a SquareOnion. :) Anyway, how are you enjoying the Square, thus far? I hope we don't scare you away. ;)

*waves to Betsie, but fails to see her name mentioned... weeps* Jk, I hope you art fairing well, I haven't seen you in the Square for quite awhile, you must join us more often! I do so enjoy reading your posts.

*hugs F2 back* Things are going quite well.., thanks! It has been considerably busy, with certain people, and certain things. But, alas, it has been going quite well. I hope you are doing good, yes? :)

I suppose you are correct, Nick. When I'm tired, I'm not very happy. So, it does look like someone who is tired. (-|

Djaq, the weather has been very nice! It's still warm, but there is a hint of winter in the air, which excites me! I cannot wait until winter! :D How is the weather for you?
So...., you think Bella is a bit weird? I admit, most everyone in this world is weird. But some are very weird, in which case, I can put neither you, Bella, or myself in that category. ;))

I'm so glad school is going smoothly for you, Edmund P. I know how frustrating it usually is, and I just hope it doesn't get that way for any of you. :-s

*spots Bella standing near, and jumps from her seat* Bella! I've missed you, dear triplet! How have you been? Good I do hope! :D
Thank you, I like it alot as well.
Mixed for each other? Do you mean get each other mixed up? :)

*curtsies to KingLune004* Hello, sir! The family that I belong to, is doing quite agreeable. I hope the circumstances that have escaped you at the moment, whether good or bad, are smoothly in the past now. :)

*waves to any others she hasn't mentioned, and secretly, quietly exits the Square*
