Mortereve, all you SquareOnions of this Root-Ville. That 'joke' was probably not understood, but... whatever. If you all are SquareOnions, I demand to be a SquarePotato...wait, no I don't.
Firstly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to a dear, dear, loved Narniawebber -RuralNarniaFan! Ru- I would make that festive, with emotcions, etc. but as I'm having computer problems, I'm unable to. You'll just have to wait for the poem I'm writing for you tomorrow!
I'm not here for catchup, because the time is not right for it. But, I came to say "hiya!" I've not been able to get on the computer for several times because this laptop is going to, uh D-I-E soon. Oops, laptops can spell, I believe!!
First of all, I was having problems with the virus stuff...
Then, I shut down the computer when it was updating something, so an important driver got corrupted/missing. The only choice left was to clear the whole computer. Therefore, I've lost all my graphics, all my beloved, beloved textures and GIMP, all my fonts, all the documents including the story I was writing, but oh well. I'll live. The computer is still giving me problems, due to the old version it is and that it's memory card is really old and giving up. So, Dear IBM will depart from us one day or another. It was such a sweet laptop. ;'(
My life has been interesting. I ventured into the confusing world of Algebra, and am here to stay for the year, I believe! I had a hard time with negatives and positives, plus with polynomials but my dearest mother explained it to me and I was able to understand, so praise God I understand it now!
I have nothing new to read, can you believe that?! 😮 I'm rereading Eight Cousins to make some graphics (once I can make/save some textures *cough/hack/sob* ) But I need something new! I have The Princess Bride on hold but it isn't coming soon; I shall have to find a better source.
That's about it, and hello to you all! I must be out before my hypermood takes over me, but a good... late night or early morning to you, sweet roots! (Yes, yes, I'm very hyper. Btw, I'll catchup tomorrow. =] )
RL Sibling: CSLewisNarnia
Mortereve all! Hope your day has gone well!
I'd like to get a GVB CD called "I Do Believe."
Oh, I've heard the title song for that. The lyrics are really good! Isn't it one of their older CDs--when Mark Lowry was still with the group?
It did get really weird. Well, technically they're not.
*smacks head* I knew that! Late-night catchup apparently does things to me.
Do you have a favorite season?
I probably lean toward Season 1, although some of my fave episodes are in Season 2.
Do you think that's because you think it's downloading and you get all excited and then it doesn't?
I think so. It's so close, almost within reach, and it's finally going to work this time...and then no.
*waves to MissAravis* Can I ask what radio station you and Queen Susan were talking about?
Has anyone here ever wondered what it would sound like if you played, The Blitz, Narnian Lullaby, and, uh, the song in the battle scene all at the same time?
I haven't, but now I know. I can imagine how that sounds...
It's nice to have a balance- a good mix of stronger-by-way of fighting females, and stronger-by-way of inner strength, loyalty, etc.
Ditto!
Edmund P, it sounds like an amazing concert! Thanks for letting all the TAN fans live vicariously through you. And nice pics!
Ruby, I'm glad your competition went well! Placing in four out of seven is great!
those are 3 of the 4 songs off of their album that they didn't play when they came to my town.
They didn't play Love is Here?!? It's one of their best-known songs--how do you skip it? Were they playing new songs?
I,m and in Summit County on I-70 Silverthorne is the town.
I've been to Silverthorne; it's beautiful! Is there a special reason you're there?
"O, Come, O Come Immanuel" is stunning.
I found Enya's version on Youtube today--wow. Just gorgeous. "O Come, O Come Immanuel" is such a urgent, pleading song, and with her pure voice and the lack of background accompaniment, it sounds like something the Israelites would actually have sung.
"All I want for Christmas is a Hippopotomous'
I've never heard of that song! How did I miss something like that? *heads back to Youtube*
Yay for Mannheim Steamroller! I actually had never listened to them (at least, knowingly) until a couple of Christmases ago, but they're one of my favorites now. I love to sit by the Christmas tree and just listen to their sound.
Hello fauntastic! It's very nice to meet you; I'm malkah.
You guys can call me Faun, or Syd. Whichever you can remember, hehe.
Do you prefer one or the other?
I felt so sad for Lawrence at the end when all his work to give the Arab's there own country failed and then it turns out that both the British and Arab's have been using him all along.
*begins to wonder whether she was awake at all while typing her last post* How did I forget that part? First Robin Hood^^, and now this. Anyway, you're right, that was an extremely frustrating part of the story. He spent the whole movie fighting for the Arabs; at the end, he still wasn't one of them and was "a man without a country," so to speak.
I'll have to maybe check out The Wind and the Lion. Is it based on a historical story, like Lawrence?
My, those peaches sound marvelous! The zipper building is fantastic!
They were. Isn't it though? I wonder who came up with the idea.
That cup of chai sounds amazing! I normally dump powdered mix in hot water and call it done, but I may have to rethink that.
MissAravis! That's great about the new laptop! And three-months-early birthday presents are always fun.
I'm starting to feel the effects of a very long day and it's late in my part of the world, so good night and peaceful slumbers, everyone!

Eeeek! Right now I am posting this from a brand new 15 inch MacBook Pro laptop!
Nice! Very nice! I have no doubt it is a lot faster than my laptop. Miss Rachel (ramagut) and I both have a MacBook Pro, but mine is old and slow. It does what I need it to do. Very nice gift from your folks!
*tips his hat to malkah and Pebbles*
“Safe?” said Mr. Beaver; “don’t you hear what Mrs. Beaver tells you? Who said anything about safe? ‘Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good. He’s the King, I tell you.”
Mortereve all!
Thank you, Tiana! Don't worry I'm a Star Wars nut too. Oh, it sounds nice to watch the movies one after the other!
Ah, okay, D-T-R. I'd like to see Pride and Prejudice someday, my mom has promised me I'll be able to watch it when I'm a bit older, and after I read the book.
Wow, that is a bit of an adventure, FF! Hope your brother's hand will get better quickly. Well, I haven't been up to much. I had volleyball class yesterday. I've never played before, but I'm beginning to get the hang of it and it's lots of fun.
Ha, that is a cute smiley, Winter! And funny too. I can see why you don't use it excessively, though.
Lol, I'm not a football fan either, QS. But believe me, my dad is... *sighs*
105, Faun?! That's hot! It only gets that hot here in the middle of summer. It is beginning to get cooler where I live, though, which I'm glad for. If you like, I can send a bit of our cool weather down to you in Arizona.
Awesome, MA! Three-month early birthday present...nice! You're lucky.
*hugs Bella* I've missed you around the Square! And I'm sorry you lost everything on your computer!
Yup, that's right, malkah. In "I Do Believe" the group was Bill Gaither (of course), Guy Penrod, David Phelps, and Mark Lowry.
All right, now ketchup's done! Anyway, guess what? About a month ago I mentioned that I was taking tennis lessons in September, well that got canceled because I was actually the only girl signed up for the class! So, I'm taking volleyball instead, and the first class was last night. Me and several other girls had never played before, but the teacher was really kind and showed us how to serve, and things like that. It was really fun.
I got a new book at the library yesterday! It's called Palace of Mirrors by Margaret Peterson Haddix, and oh it was sooo good. I stayed up last night to finish reading it. It was awesome.

*pokes head in* Good morning and dittos to all!
Oi... rain+rush hour = ick. Oh well. Traffic in a big city. Got to either live with it, fuss about it, or make fun of it! Or a combination of all three! Just remember to leave early on days like this. I am thankful for the rain though. We're still a bit behind for the year.
On other topics, I've updated my website again.
Anyone else heard Avalon's new album?
*wonders in sipping on my,(can this be true?), third cup of coffee*
Winter- I can't imagine my life without coffee. I must admit that I drink too much. I love everything about it; the smell, the warmth and the taste of dark, rich cofee. I also love hot teas and find myself drinking them more and more.
NG & Tiana- I find myself on a lazy day, when it has been a while, watching the Star Wars movies all in a row. Sometimes this takes several days, but I just love them. As far as Christmas songs, NG, my favorites would be hard to list. I LOVE the old classics, most all of them. I also love some of the newer songs. One that is just for fun is one from Reliant K called, "Twelve Days of Christmas." They make it really fun!
Malkah- I really love your name and its' meaning.
*curtsies back* (hoping I can raise back up)- Meltintalle- My name is one I came up with randomly. The first letters from the characters; Susan, Peter,Edmond, Lucy and Caspian. Not to compare to Malkah's name either in beauty or meaning...
Djaq- I guess I am the mother of your triplet...I wasn't aware of this...lol
* worried about the post getting too long, but needing to catch up*
CSLN- I am doing fine, and You? Very busy and trying to stay caught up on the posts...
Bella, NN95 and Malkah- I also had trouble with the learning style of Rosetta Stone...Any new ideas on learning Spanish???
Ruby- I LOVE Irish Dance. Is this the same as the River Dance? I watched them on PBS once and really enjoyed them and was amazed at their skill.
*waving a great mortereve to all, until next post*
In other men we faults can spy, And blame the mote that dims the eye; Each little speck and blemish find; To our own stronger errors blind. -Benjamin Franklin
Mortereve all!
Nope, Aiden. I believe I was 14 when I started the college class. It was a course at the local technical college. And I have little doubt anyone knew how young I was. But yes, I enjoyed it a lot.
Oh, I see. Wow, so you were in there with the college-aged people? Anyway, glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Aaah! *looks around wildly for an exit* I think I just walked into an "anger management" support group!
Now, now, resist the temptation. Try to control yourself!
It really does. Yup, it never happened with the old NarniaWeb. The new one hates me. I don't care how many times people say it's inanimate, I know it's out to get me! BTW, do you advertise for Mozilla or something? 'Cause you're doing a pretty good job.
Huh. That's is so weird. No, I assure you, the new forum is very animate. See? —>
Lol, I joke about that a lot, saying that Mozilla should pay me since I advertise their stuff so much. But, no, I don't officially work for them.
Lol, am I in trouble?
Yes, you are!
You said that you'd been cheating a little. Don't try to look innocent to me. Well, it's not exactly my fault. I messed up one of the lines awhile back, and you corrected me, if we had continued like that, I would have had all of the monologues, but you messed up after that.
Wow, not only do you get all of the monologues, but you get the long descriptions too.
*Ben starts stamping around on the floor* "Riley, get over here!"
....Huh, whaaaat? I said that? Not meeee!
Yeah, yeah, well you picked the scene, so it's entirely your fault!
Yeah, true.
"What is this?"
What's weirder is that flam's did retain the color (we used the same computer too).
Suit yourself.
Whoa, that is weird! Any chance you were using different browsers? I use Firefox which retained the color. But it could be other browsers don't work the same way...
"Great, kid, don't get cocky." Star Wars. (If you have, I don't remember it, so you're off the hook. )
"I know what to do, I'm just trying to think of anything else we could do." (Oh, good, then. )
That braces are worth it.
Okay...Retainers really aren't bad! I've had mine since May, and it hasn't ever bothered me (it took me about twenty minutes to get it out the first time because I wasn't used to it ). Maybe the temporary retainer isn't going to be the same as the real one.
Ah yes. Why do I always forget what starts a particular conversation?
Well, I have to admit that I've only had the plastic temporary retainer, not the real thing. So I really don't know how it'll be. But I imagine it'll be similar to the temp one. And, it's not that it really bothered me, per se, it's just annoying being there. See, I got used to braces really fast and didn't even notice they were there. But the retainer comes out, so you can't ever forget it's there. And, I got to where I could take the thing out just with my mouth and I would subconsciously do it making noises that drove my crazy. Anyway, like I said, hopefully the regular retainer won't be as bad as the temporary one. [/complain]
Ah, well, I bet that helps. I'm not subscribed to either of those, so you'll have to update me. I still haven't listened to it.
All right, will do! Tsk, tsk, now you're really behind—there's another new one!
I meant that I can only raise my left one up and down if I have both raised at the same time... Was that confusing?
Uhh, yeah that didn't make sense...
It feels like a strange place to me because it's so empty. If I log on, I'm usually the only one there.
Haha, well that's not quite what I meant. But, true. I went and signed on to get something and it did seem so desolate. Like walking through a ghost town.
It is really good!
Yay, you use it too? Always neat to find fellow fans of free things like that, especially something as important as anti-virus protection. I feel bad any time someone pays lots of money for protection when they can get something 10 times better for free!
Yes, I know exactly how that is, NN95. And I know I've said this before, but I absolutely LOVE the new smilies (though, they're not so new anymore ). And, I believe there are more smilies on this forum than the old one, right?
Despite the fact I've gotten used to the new smilies, I still like the old ones a ton better. They were more classy and has a cool 3D look to them. The new ones are kinda boring. But, there is a larger selection and more expressions that can be portrayed.
4th of July?! Wow, NN95! But I just love Christmas music, don't you?
Yeah, that is kinda early, isn't it? I haven't played any since then, though. But I should start playing it again soon. Yeah, I do too.
BTW, we saw Christmas trees at the store today! Lol!
Do you follow any teams in particular?
Yes, I do! I'm a good ol' fan of the home team! I feel bad for people that live somewhere in which the home team stinks. *coughClevelandcough* Lol, whenever we think of a horrible football team, the Browns come to mind. I really don't know how bad they really are though.
;)) Ah, I'm terribly sorry. I am both a PC and a Mac fan. Or neither. I really don't have much of a preference... Throw rotten fruits and vegetables at me if you must. I'm using a Mac right now actually. And it's working well.
Seriously, I like both, and probably the same amount... Who knows.
Oh, tsk, tsk, that's a shame. We must get you won over to PC! Anyway, I suppose as long as you don't dislike PC, you're all set. But.... you could use the Mac a little less, couldn't you?
Yeah, we think it was because of my adolescence. But none of my family members are doctors...who knows?
People call BF, B_f, Broadway, Broad, Barf(y)..... I'm pretty flexible
Hmm, so you haven't had a doctoral statement on the issue? Ah well, interesting anyway.
Ah, I see. Barf? Barfy? Oooookay......
It actually kinda downloaded, it downloaded as a file folder on my computer, which is utterly useless.
Did you try running the executable?
Aha.
Absolutely! It was written by Trevor Rabin (he wrote the music for National Treasure 1 and 2). Unfortunately, you can't buy the musical score for the film (I found one on Amazon.com, it was insanely expensive!!!)! You can only get the oldie songs and one of the instrumental songs on the soundtrack. I was a bit disappointed.
Oh yes, Trevor Rabin's music is very recognizable. Have you ever seen Race to Witch Mountain? He did that music, and I knew it was he right from the start.
Aw, that stinks you can't get it.
Yup I do (and boy is it fun!!! )!
How mean of you!
Oh gosh, you and Aitb read it wrong I meant, Yeah yeah go ahead and roll the eyes. Or maybe it was me who typed it...
Yep, I'm taking it too Its pretty good at the moment. We can't speak to each other yet, but we're trying.
Ok, now I'm totally lost....
Ah, that's cool! I'm glad you're enjoying it so far! Ah, that's neat you can practice it out with each other. Fortunately, my dad took Spanish in college, so I can practice with him. Not sure what I'd do there was nobody with whom I could practice.
Bennett, was this your first time watching Lawrence of Arabia? I saw it a while back and don't remember much. I enjoyed it, too, but it wasn't the greatest. The music was good though, eh?
Rosetta Stone was what ended my attempts at learning Spanish. I know language experts swear by the "immersion" method, but you can't learn anything when they don't define the words. It's worked well for a lot of people I know, though; it's just different learning styles.
I can't see how anyone could learn with Rosetta Stone! I get frustrated using the demo in the store. They'll give you a conjugation of a verb and show you the picture. But how can you use the verb correctly unless you know all the forms and the infinitive? The mind prefers a systematic approach to things.
Anyway, I'm sorry that you're attempts of learning Spanish have ended. It really is a fun and interesting language to learn.
*finally waves back to Nutty from when he waved a looong time ago*
So how are things in your corner of the world?
Aiden: Thanks! Both ways of filming movies are good, I'd guess, but I wonder if we should of started with a shorter script to begin our venture into the world of scripted movies...Hmm.. I actually just thought of that. Maybe we'll have to try it.
Ah, so this was a rather stark transition into the realm of filming with a script? Yeah, that's not a bad idea to ease into it more slowly.
The full Speckled Band story is a good one, I hope you get it!
Well I'll see if I can!
Edmund P, ¿está aprendiendo a hablar español este año también? Estoy en mi segundo año.
Glad to hear the feis went so well, Dani!
Welcome to the Square, fauntastic! You can call me NN95, NN, Aiden, or anything you like.
Bella, NN95 and Malkah- I also had trouble with the learning style of Rosetta Stone...Any new ideas on learning Spanish???
I just use the good ol' fashioned method of a textbook (and the modern technique of having a teacher on the TV) provided by Bob Jones University. Here's a link to my Spanish 1 course.
*waves to Dani, Pebbles, and Bella*
...wow. That was a ton to catch up on. And I barely skimmed anything. 'Course, it took me two days to write this. Anyway...

I'll catch up later... just wanted to pop in here and rejoice.
! Oh, nice! 😀 Liking it so far?
Ru- I would make that festive, with emotcions, etc.
At first I thought you were talking to me. *laugh* Because in real life my best friend calls me Ru. So... yeah.
*waves to MissAravis* Can I ask what radio station you and Queen Susan were talking about?
*pops up* Well, you didn't direct it exactly towards me, but I know the answer so... It's: "Air1" I think.
Lol, I'm not a football fan either, QS. But believe me, my dad is... *sighs*
Hehe. None of my family really is into it. Which I guess is slightly nice. Doesn't really matter if they are or aren't.
SPELC? 4 posts? Do I know you? *is confused* You seem to be somewhat like PELS, but I'm probably just confused and lost and... yeah.
Oh, tsk, tsk, that's a shame. We must get you won over to PC! Anyway, I suppose as long as you don't dislike PC, you're all set. But.... you could use the Mac a little less, couldn't you?
Well, it really depends on which computer is handiest at the moment. Both of them have "my stuff" on them... so it depends.
(Besides, Mac has cool features like GarageBand and... PhotoBooth)
Avatar by Wunderkind_Lucy!
Can you read this? Yeah, me neither. My eyesight is perfectly awful. Just kidding. Anyway. Just thought I'd ramble about something... something pointless. Because I'm tired. And I'll put it in small writing. So no one reads it. Just kidding... Whatever.
Umm, yeah, I can tell you were tired when you wrote that.
Well, it really depends on which computer is handiest at the moment. Both of them have "my stuff" on them... so it depends.

Ah, I see. Why don't you just get two or three PCs, and then at least one of them will be handy at any given moment.
What do you mean by "features"? Something cool build into the OS? What do GarageBand and PhotoBooth do?
One of the pathetic things about Mac is that they don't support 3rd-party software (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong) so lots of awesome things that work on the PC don't work on the Mac.

Good mortereve all!
Wow, I had a rather busy weekend (and Monday)...
On Saturday, flam and I went to a wedding. The bride wanted flam to take some behind-the-scenes pictures, so we got there at about 3:00 (the wedding was at 6:00). We just kind of hung out for awhile, and felt out of place, but then guests started to arrive, and it got busier. The wedding went well. At the reception, I ended up cutting the wedding cake (I didn't know that I would until we got there. ). I'd never cut a round and tiered cake before, and I just got a little five minute run-down on how to do it before the wedding. None of it collapsed though, so I guess that it went okay.
Sunday was about usual for us. Since our church is an hour away, we stay for lunch at our sister's house and then head home around 2:00 or so.
Monday, we were busy all day. I don't think that I even got on the computer at all. (yes, I'm still breathing ) We went to the horse cluster-of-barns...or ranch, I still haven't decided what to call it. Anyway, we got there around 8:20, got to groom one of the horses (Missy!), then we went to the main barn, and waited for the kids to get there. Then for the next 3 hours we were side-walking with a child off and on.
After we got home, we went to a friends house for the afternoon...It was a fun but long day!
Now, after that long ramble, I will finally get to my catchup post.
Djaq! That's a gigantic post!
I'll take that as a compliment.
Wow, I love how you changed the avatar of yourself around. It's a lovely picture.
Thank you very much! I was experimenting with a lot of textures, and different coloring, I'm glad that it came out well.
Thank you! I'm only on page 9 so far, but...I'm working on it.
Wow. Are you sick of it yet?
Thanks for the welcome, Djaq!
You are very welcome! I remember the welcome that I got when I first came to the Square. I love how friendly everyone is!
Malkah is the Hebrew word for "queen". I thought it would make a fun Narnian(although indirectly) username. And yours is from the BBC Robin Hood, right? Djaq is awesome!
That's so neat!! Yeah, all of the good Narnian names are already used, so it's fun to come up with ones that have a subtle meaning or reference.
Yes, it is! Do you like the show?
Volunteering at the horse ranch sounds fun! Do you ride normally, or did you just want to work for that particular program?
It is really fun. No, I haven't ever ridden much, ( ) but I really wanted to learn more about horses, and I love working with kids, and these are special needs children, so I like learning about them as well. It does equine therapy for the kids, and it's really neat to watch what they're doing, and how it helps them! It's a great program!
*waves to Elphie/BF*
Basically. Oh, well, now we have a face to describe a lot of us, 'round here!
Lol, that's a good point! That and this one:
You should take my kidding seriously. I am always serious! (um, yeah right!)
"You need not always be grave. For jokes as well as justice come in with speech."
"Your first dawn blinded you..."
"Would I rather be Chris or Sean?"? Need you even ask?
"...and left you cursing the day..."
*waves back to Djaq* How are you doing?
I'm doing excellently, thank you! How about you?
Hey Djaq!!!!! How are you? It's been a while since you've been on the square! Good to see you!
Dani!!! See above comment. Yes, I'm getting rather bad about long absences.
Hey, Cor! *waves*
There is so much beautiful Christmas music and the radio stations choose the most inane songs...
Ugh, yes, they do! It's like they pick at least one annoying song per year, and play it all the time just to bug us. Last year it was "Simply Having A Wonderful Christmas Time"...
That's a gorgeous pic! And your avvy is lovely too, by the way.
Thank you! flambeau took the picture at my sister's old house. The sunset was really pretty that night!
I've seen all of seasons 1 and 2, and about half of season 3. Season 3--
Ditto to all of that! I haven't seen season 3 yet either, but I've heard about it, and it sounds weird. Oh, and...
;)) Either one works, I suppose.
I guess so.
Aw, thank you! I didn't think it would really work at first because it's kind of repetitive but I actually like the way it turned out. And the repetitiveness will make it easy to write sheet music for it.
It worked beautifully! Yay, for sheet music!
"Hallelujah" is awesome as well!!! You are very talented!
Thanks! I'll be sure to tell her! Yes, it's Country Girl, who has not yet made an appearance on NW. It's not because she's scared of you all, just that's she's incredibly busy.
Aw, well tell her that we are looking forward to whenever she gets a chance to come in!
I like your new avatar, by the way!
Thank you! Yours is beautiful! The coloring is lovely!
Aww! That's great- I love kids that age, because they are so cute and precious, (sometimes I stop and marvel how smaller children are almost like perfect miniatures of adults. Not in thinking/capacity wise, but just how tiny their fingers are, and their hands and feet, and how they grow, and stuff like that).
Yes, they are so sweet! Sometimes the kids there can really surprise you with how bright they are! They may be slow in some areas (it depends on their disability), but they can also be really smart!
I totally know what you mean! I love watching my nieces and nephews grow!
I have some other things to do, so I'll be back later to finish up.
EDIT LATER: I'm back to finish.
Haha, sorry! I've been quite busy this week and haven't had the time to write about it.
That's fine. Yay, I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the concert (not that there was a chance you wouldn't )! Fun!
It sounds like the feis went really good, Dani!! Wow, good for you! I've never done any professional dancing, taken lessons, or anything, so I don't really know much about it.
but whether or not I'm amazing I'll let other people decide.
*raises hand* I'll volunteer! You're amazing!!
Let me tell you a little story about my 'normal' script... I was doing something on a whiteboard, and someone asks, "Is that elvish?" I assume that means my elvish script looks more elvish than elvish... if such a thing is possible.
Haha. I'm not sure if that is possible...I wouldn't know much about that.
Hullo, fauntastic! It's great to have you join us! I'm sure that you'll get used to the pace of things in no time!
Well, I wore a shirt I bought this summer yesterday. I had only worn it once so I eagerly wore it yesterday, even though ti was not first in my closet order. I looked os stylish. I need a new hat.
That's great! What kind of hat are you thinking about getting?
Now I'm confusing Djaq. Goodness, my head must have been muddled that day! Now, you haven't ever actually called me Dennis-just said that you'd accidentally typed it.
Ah, thank you muchly!
'Vell, I do like This Side, which I listened to because Flam was talking about it. And I like Reasons Why. I'd kind of have to listen to them some more to tell what my favorites are. And I will sometime, promise. I'm trying to right now (and just showed my little brother a song/music video on Youtube), but my sister is playing the piano, so it's hard to listen.
"This Side" is really cool! Yay, I like "Reasons Why" too! ("Others have excuses, I have my reasons why.")
I shall look forward to hearing more of your favorites whenever you decide what they are.
Hey, QS! Haha, great sig!
Likewise. I wonder if Bella is weird too, since she's our triplet.
Perhaps. Maybe we should ask Ella?
The quote in your signature is one of my favorites!!
That's great about the laptop, Kat!!
Therefore, I've lost all my graphics, all my beloved, beloved textures and GIMP, all my fonts, all the documents including the story I was writing, but oh well. I'll live.
Aw, I'm sorry that you lost all of that! We've had a lot of computer problems before, and I don't know how much longer this one is going to last...
I have The Princess Bride on hold but it isn't coming soon; I shall have to find a better source.
Do you need any screencaps from it, or are you just wanting to make quote graphics? Here's a site that has screencaps, if you need them.
Djaq- I guess I am the mother of your triplet...I wasn't aware of this...lol
Ah, yes, you're charming daughter is my dear triplet! We have many things in common.
Yes, you are!
Oh, dear! What can I do?
....Huh, whaaaat? I said that? Not meeee!
Yeah, yeah, well you picked the scene, so it's entirely your fault!
Yeah, true.
"What is this?"
I'm starting to think that you not remembering things is a cover-up for mistakes.
Of course, just blame it all on me...it has to be my fault.
"Smuggler's hold. Get in!"
Whoa, that is weird! Any chance you were using different browsers? I use Firefox which retained the color. But it could be other browsers don't work the same way...
We both use the same browser (Firefox). I'm not sure why it didn't ever retain it for me.
"I know what to do, I'm just trying to think of anything else we could do." (Oh, good, then. )
"Well, you don't have to. Just use the coordinates from the last launch." The Incredibles.
[/complain]
I don't know... Why do you?
There, there, it's okay! Seriously though, I do understand what you mean. I can't just take mine out with my mouth because of how it's shaped (it's only on my teeth, and it doesn't cover the roof of my mouth), but flambeau has one where she can do it (it doesn't bother her though). The up-side of it is that you don't have to pry it out with your fingers (like mine). After maybe a couple of months, you will only have to wear it at night, and then you won't mind it as much (I hope).
All right, will do! Tsk, tsk, now you're really behind—there's another new one!
Ah, but I have listened to the other one (not the newest one, but the one before).
Thoughts: I think that they are overreacting to the "Big pitched battles" comment. I had no idea that those three little words could mean sooo much to certain people!
I'm not worried about it. I'm a little curious, but I'm not freaking out. Um...I can't really remember what other subjects that they talked about in it. What are your thoughts?
Right now, I'm in costume heaven! I love looking at all of the new pictures! I'm also wondering about Gael (the mysterious little girl). Who is she? Why is she there? What do you think about it?
Uhh, yeah that didn't make sense...
Sorry... My bad. Okay, I can't raise my left eyebrow by itself...Better?
Haha, well that's not quite what I meant. But, true. I went and signed on to get something and it did seem so desolate. Like walking through a ghost town.
I kept getting on to keep in touch with Jojo before she got her account transferred. Yes, it's sad.
Yay, you use it too? Always neat to find fellow fans of free things like that, especially something as important as anti-virus protection. I feel bad any time someone pays lots of money for protection when they can get something 10 times better for free!
Yup! I'm a card-carrying member! Haha, you're very good at advertising things.
Oh, and sorry about the complete red, Aiden. I didn't feel like doing all of the extra typing to change the colors.

Team Hoodie!!
It has both, though mostly horses. Not sure what kind, but there are lot's of them.
SWEET! *puts The Wind and the Lion on her to-watch list. EDIT: Oh, rats. It isn't on DVD.
*can't think up a smart reply to DTR's comment about feeling older* But you could look at the next paragraph and consider it a reply...
I don't know how old I feel.
You know what someone should do? They should figure out how to capsulize how you feel on a given day, and then you can compare those capsules to decide if you actually feel older, instead of just assuming you do or don't.
I played with cooties when I was little, mind you they were the old skinny kind...
I don't remember them being particularly skinny, but my set is different than the set we got for a younger sibling. I think my pieces are smaller, except for the legs.
It's not too long until the snow flies, after all!
I have it, in a from a friend of a friend fashion, that it has already snowed in Denver, CO.
No ones scared me off yet...ahah
*tiptoes up behind Syd* BOO! Welcome to the Square. You have an awesome username, by the way.
. I've never heard of that song!
Be careful whom you tell about it. I actually got a hippopotamus a couple years ago.
SPELC, I see! It's related to what PELS stands for as well, right?

Hey everyone! F-f-f-fantastic Mortereve to all! How is everybody? *hugs all around*
*plops on bench* Feef! I am hot and tired. Just finished giving my bedroom the white glove, with pleasant results I will say, and I worked up quite a sweat! Dusting, vacuuming, washing windows/mirrors, organizing, arranging, etc. Whew! Was definitely worth it. Then I came down and a hot lunch (how dumb does one get?). Now I'm just going to chill for awhile....heh heh.
Hmmm, comments, comments:
MissA - I am so excited for you about the Macbook! Pro no less, woohoo! That is what I have, as of June, and I love it. It's new and fast and efficient and capable and...lol. I pretty much enjoy using it! I mean no offense to PC users and lovers - I find no fault with them. I just got done using a Dell with Windows Vista and it was nice, but Macs are definitely fabulous. For my purposes anyway. ^_^
Oh, and I also want to say that I am so excited for you about your TAN experience! I read that awhile back, and thought it was so cool! I can understand how you would have been THRILLED! I love TAN too, especially Mike. (rotfl) Your account of the evening reminded me of something similar that happened to us (Jojo and me, and our family) with another performing group. I won't tell it all here, but it was almost too good to be true!
Herro Bella!! What's new? So sorry about your computer! Is there no recovery of any of it? THAT is a sad day! Are you going to get another laptop?
So fun that you're reading Eight Cousins!! That, and its sequel, Rose in Bloom, are two of my favorite books EVER! Such a sweet story. What kind of graphics are you going to make from it?
Starkat: I saw you mentioned Avalon in your post, and I wasn't aware that they have a new CD, but they are actually going to be in a city near me in a couple of weeks! I don't know whether or not we'll be able to go to the concert, but it'd be cool.
Hello QueenSu, how are you? I heard from Jojo that we live relatively close...??? How exciting is that?!?! We should totally meet up sometime. What say?
And yes, don't you love the mac feature programs? Garageband, photobooth, iphoto, ivideo, ichat....everything.
LOL, I like your signature.....too funny. And yes I could read it. Without glasses, or contacts, or magnifying glass, or any visual aid. It was a fun...ramble.
*big 'hey' and hug to Aiden
Hello Malkah, have we met? I'm Lissa! *extends hand, dropping a curtsy*
Hey Djaq!!
See above comment. Yes, I'm getting rather bad about long absences.
*
Oh psh....no one can hold a candle to MY *superb* tardiness!! I get both an A and a C, for Completely Absent. Sheesh....it's bad! One thing that makes me kinda mad is not getting the notification steadily....they help to remind me that I need to post! lol. When I don't get them, it is easy for me to get busy with other things and forget that life is moving on the Square, and that I need to be there!!
*Sigh*
Glad i got in today though! *dances jig* I gotta run and get ready to go to town though, in a bit. I gotta pick up Jojo from babysitting, and then go clean! *believes that's maybe exactly what she said last time she posted. Must. Be. More. Original*
I don't feel like getting out in this downpour though! Anyone have an umbrella I could borrow?
Very well - carry on!

Thanks to MissA, I have the song stuck in my head! [;)]
Ok, sorry that I keep disappearing and popping up randomly. School schedule is busy and like I said before, I'm really busy. I don't think I'll make a catch-up post. Just say hi to a few people on here!!!
Thanks everyone for the congratulations on the feis!! The only not-so-nice thing about these competitions is that they make you want to compete again, soon. Go back and fix all the mistakes you made in your last feis. Unfortunately, feises are expensive and so we'll probably only be able to afford like one or two a year!
MissA!!! How are you? I was so happy to hear your piano arrangement of "Hallelujah"!! You captured it really well. That song is so pretty!
Ok, I need to tell you something. My mom is a classical musician who doesn't really play anymore, because she's a busy mom and she doesn't have anything to really play for. She doesn't teach anymore or anything. Well, when I handed her the sheet music for your piano arrangements of "Love is Here" and "By Your Side" she got really, really excited!!! She loves those songs. AND she said that you were amazingly talented and did a wonderful job of arranging the songs into piano pieces. Just wanted to tell you thanks for the sheet music!!
Winter! Just had to ask, who is the person in your avatar? Looks sort of familiar, but I'm not sure...
Aiden! *waves back* How is everything going?
malkah! Djaq! Benjamin! I trust everyone's healthy??
Djaq, your avatar has me puzzled as well...
Anyone seen johobbit?
Well, that's all I have time for! Time to finish up some homework and I'll probably be eating dinner soon!!!
EDIT: MissA!!! You got a macbook pro??? That makes two of us!! Actually, I don't have a macbook. It's my dads and I only use it sometimes. I do wish I had a newer computer though, because my school one is really old. That is so exciting that your parents bought you one! I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with it.
God bless!

Good Mortereve everyone!! *is catching onto lingo* I hope everyone is well, I had a nice day at school today
MissAravis, I'd just like to say how completely JEALOUS I am!! Wow, a MacBookPro! (; Congratulations
Hey Aslanisthebest, all your computer problems sound really really awful! D: I hope you are able to get a new one soon! And algebra...that was one of my favorite classes! I love math
It's nice to meet you Malkah! No, I really don't prefer one over the other, I'll answer to both! I know there are a few other people who go by Faun on Narniaweb though.
Any cold weather would be nice, so send any bit that you can Narnia Girl! Haha, the heat is bearable when I spend all day inside for classes (although getting into my red car with black leather seats is not my favorite part of the day).
Oh hello NN95! I'm making so many friends on here, its so nice to come and read about everyone else's day. And I see you can speak spanish! Hace dos años que aprendo hablar español.
Thanks Djaq for the welcome! And I love weddings!! I've never cut the cake, and I'd be frightened of ruining it (since they are always so decorative and beautiful!). Congratulations on it not collapsing! xD
*jumps at Meltintalle" Ahh! Thank you, hehe!
Well that's all for me! *evaporates*
