Hello all! *Waves*

Has anyone here ever wondered what it would sound like if you played, The Blitz, Narnian Lullaby, and, uh, the song in the battle scene all at the same time? I never did, but I found out. I had mp3 player plugged into the computer and I decided I wanted to listen to the soundtrack for LWW, and it started off ok, and then it started playing the Narnian Lullaby, the battle scene one and the Blitz all at same time!!! Crazy, huh? It kinda went all phsycotic. I was shocked. It sounded really weird, adn really, really hectic.

Well, I know what you mean. Some songs that a lot of my friends like just don't strike a chord with me. ;)) So it's fine! Lol, I'm not very good at singing... but I'm decent at piano. :P

Ok, good. #:-s I really didn't want to offend you by saying I disliked TAN. Only decent? Ruby says your piano playing is AMAZING Just like that... I'm thinking Ruby might be right. (That is if you're the one who plays the songs and writes sheet music for it?)

It works, but it is hard for these aging eyes to read. ;)) I did not know there was a color in the menu for "Dodger Blue."

There isn't. Valia found a website that had a whole bunch of codes and colors that were exceptable on most web thingys. (I'm so descriptive aren't I? ;) ) Anyhow, I don't really know what it is or how it works...I'm sure Valia knows, though.

See y'all!

Hello all! Mortereve! I trust everyone had a pleasant Saturday? :)

Aiden: Thanks! :) Both ways of filming movies are good, I'd guess, but I wonder if we should of started with a shorter script to begin our venture into the world of scripted movies...Hmm.. I actually just thought of that. Maybe we'll have to try it. :)

The full Speckled Band story is a good one, I hope you get it! :)

Dennie: I'm so glad to hear you're really enjoying your job! That is wonderful! :) :) Getting your first paycheck sounds like an exciting event! :) :)

Alright! I'll try to get one off to you shortly! :) I'm interested in hearing your views on that subject as well. :)

*laughs* Or if it was Mein Chow that almost sounds like Mean Cow, which maybe was why it ended up as supper? ;)

Oh yes! :D And of course I'd bring our wonder clothes, so we'd really impress your parents! :D ;) Hmm, windows. The typical kind, I guess. Our house is a rather raised bungalow, so the kitchen, dining room, and living room windows all require a ladder and some brave soul to climb up it to wash the outside. The brave soul is usually my sister, who apparently likes climbing up trees and going into high places. Anyways- we have some horizontal sliding windows, and also some crank open ones. :)

WinterStar: Your horse riding experiences sound, fun, I think? I remember when my horse always stepped on my foot, which isn't so bad because he's not that heavy, but, eh, yes, it was painful. It was worse with my sister's horse- he's a Haflinger, so he's got incredibly thick legs, which means big feet. And lots of weight on top. ;)

And oh yes! :D It is even all the more better if you start earlier- the world needs more mature kids- the younger, the better! :) ;)

Djaq: Thanks! I'll be sure to tell her! :) Yes, it's Country Girl, who has not yet made an appearance on NW. It's not because she's scared of you all, just that's she's incredibly busy. :)

I like your new avatar, by the way! :)

Aww! That's great- I love kids that age, because they are so cute and precious, (sometimes I stop and marvel how smaller children are almost like perfect miniatures of adults. Not in thinking/capacity wise, but just how tiny their fingers are, and their hands and feet, and how they grow, and stuff like that).

Narnia Girl: Hmmm, yeah, I wonder why it takes longer. Well, I suppose it's because it's not as engaging, or something of that sort.

Malkah: Lovely new avatar!

Yes- I'm kind of on the fence with Susan, but I think I'm leaning towards wishing she didn't fight as much in PC. I don't mind Eowyn in LotR either, although I like Arwen just as much too. :) It's nice to have a balance- a good mix of stronger-by-way of fighting females, and stronger-by-way of inner strength, loyalty, etc. :)

Queen Susan: Ditto! It's hard to put them down at times, isn't it? :)

*waves to Flambeau* I'm great, thanks! And you? :)

Ella: Yay! :D But no rush or anything. ;)

Hmmm...some jokes. Which ones have you heard before? ;) (Don't want to sound like a broken record now....) ;))

Ruby *hopes Ruby's feet have stopped hurting by now*

I have seen some of the newer ones, but they haven't been that remarkable. I did enjoy the Sheerluck Holmes one, though, and also the Gideon Tuba Warrior one. The rest have been alright... I'm not sure if I could say they've gone down in message quality over the earlier ones, because it's been some time since I've seen the earlier ones, but something has changed, yes.

Well! I suppose I should be off, it's almost time to put my little bros to be. Cheers all! :)

Dear days of old, with the faces in the firelight,
Kind folks of old, you come again no more.

Mortereve, fellow denizens!

So I'm
a) really, really, bored
b) afraid to turn in my first paper (despite the fact that it's done and sitting in my file box) to my professor
c) amused that the USGS can't decide what magnitude our earthquake was, and
d) avoiding the general responisiblities that I should be attending to

How're you guys? And yes, ForeverFan, I've had as pleasant a Saturday as possible. My laundry is mostly done, anyways.

Good mortereve, all! How is everyone this fine Saturday? I'm doing pretty well. :) And now, to the important stuff!

The Concert. It was fantastic! My sister and I got there about 6:00pm. On our way to the Family Life Center in the parking lot we saw none other than Jeff! I was thinking it was him but I wasn't sure, so I didn't want to be like "Hey can I have your autograph?!", and then it wasn't him. Then I whispered to my sister, "I think that was Jeff", she said, "Yeah, I think was too." And then when we saw Jeff onstage, we were sure that it was him we saw in the parking lot. So at 6:15pm the doors opened. Everyone poured in. My sister and I got pretty good seats, five rows back. I have some picture of Mike that I might post later, too. Ah, here some are:

Audrey Assid was the first to perform. She was AMAZING! she did about three songs, my favourite was Firefly. After that, Brenton Brown came out and did about five songs. He was really good! And I didn't realize that he did ALL of those songs that I hear on the radio all the time :-o ! After Brenton was done, MIKE DONEHEY comes out :D/ ! He talks to Brenton and when Brenton answers one of his questions I realize that he is British (South African actually)! And then for some random reason, Mike starts doing a Gollum impersonation! It was pretty funny =)) .

Then there was a brief intermission.

And then it get dark...BAM! Tenth Avenue North starts playing Love is Here. They played pretty much their whole album, Over and Underneath. I have three new favorites. Love is Here, Times, and Beloved. Consequently, I did not get to meet them... :( :((. We were pressed for time since it was a school night :( . Yeah it was pretty awesome though :D/ m/ ! And, MissA, he said the same thing he said at the concert you went to: "It's like you were getting read to be spanked, but Jesus put his butt in the way". =)) :D

I know. Somewhat unfortunately. ;)

*Chuckles* It's not unfortunate for the youngest though :D .

Edmund P.: *waves* All is pretty well here, and you?

Good, FF! I'm doing pretty well. My back has really been giving me a fit for the past few days though :( .

*waves to Ed P* :)

Bella! Welcome back! How've you been? :)
¡¿Ah, entonces usted toma el español este año, Bella?! ¡Chulo, soy también! ;)

Oh, wow! That means you must have stayed up really really late... haha.

Heh, yep. :D ;)

Lol, fair enough.
Oh and of course! The narniawebber in charge of the club is winterlife so send her a PM and she'll give you the info. :p

Great, I'll PM her strait away! :) :D/

*is really excited because EP is probably listening to TAN live right now. :) *

Let's see...that was posted at 10:04pm...they just would have finished actually. But while you were constructing your post they were definitely playing. :) :D

How have you been, MissA? I hope yours and your mum's cold is getting better. :)

*Wave to Narnia Girl* Lol, only seven pages into the Dictionary? :)

JoJo, welcome back!!! I'm glad that Jo go your account working properly :) . So how've you been?!

Ed P: Make sure you let us know how the TAN concert turns out!...And I'm sure you will. ;))

Sure I will! Just read above! ;) :D

*waves to Edmund P* Have fun at that concert! :)

I will/did, Pebbles! :)

*Waves to Dani* How are you, Dani?! :)

MissA, just read above. ;) :D

*looks at calendar* Where are you?? :!! :P

Haha, sorry! I've been quite busy this week and haven't had the time to write about it. :) ;)

I've been doing great, thanks! School and activities keep me busy. :) How have you been? I'd love to hear about the TAN concert whenever you can! (Since no one else does, I'm sure. :p )

Yes, I know how that goes. Alright! everybody has been asking me about the concert. Just read above. :D :)

I know what you mean! Not fun! I hope you're feeling all well by now! :)
Aww, that's a bummer! Any particular reason why not?
Cool! I don't mind at all! I have been reading historical fiction books lately. Specifically Gods and Generals, The Killer Angels, and Gone for Soldiers. They're all really good (there's some language in them, just so you know)! I'm planning on reading Last Full Measure next. :)
What have you been reading?

Yes, I'm feeling almost 100% now :) ! Well, my video blog take a lot of time to edit/film. And you have to get all of your thoughts together before you start filming. Just in case you were wondering, I have started back with blogging. Here is the link. Ah, cool, Flam! I'm not much into Historical Novels. I have seen the film Gods and Generals though! It was very good! I've been reading Jane Eyre. I'm only to the 10th chapter though! :-o I've only been able to read about two chapters a day right now. :) After I finish Jane Eyre, I'm going to start Mere Christianity. ;) :D

Hmm, what do y'all think of this new font color? Does it go just a little bit?

Yes! That color goes perfectly with the boy's eyes in your avatar! By the way, is the boy in your avvy Bruno from The Boy in Striped Pajamas? :)

And so, this ends this catchup for today.

*Waves to everyone*

I met Georgie and Skandar AND saw the film in one evening.

How're you guys?

You are saying the earthquake was not exciting enough? We did not feel it up in this area. We would have had a slew of 911 calls if anyone felt it locally.

Bored? Nah. Never while at work. Currently watching a really good B-Grade scary movie on SyFy. *quivers in fear*

“Safe?” said Mr. Beaver; “don’t you hear what Mrs. Beaver tells you? Who said anything about safe? ‘Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good. He’s the King, I tell you.”

Eh. It was enough to make me stop and think about what you're supposed to do during an earthquake. Sadly, by the time I realized I should be finding a door-jamb to brace into and stood up to seek one out, the earth stopped rumbling. ;) ;))

Scary movie, eh? I love SyFy, but I refuse to watch any scary movies. My imagination is very active and tends to take these things too literally. Consequently I have nightmares from even the best of movies (case in point, Independence Day made me loose sleep for a week).

Hello all! I hope none of you are as tired as I am. Feet still hurt. In fact, they hurt more than they did last night. xx( But I'll live. :)

Sorry to say, I don't have time to read everything and make a catch up post, so I'll just go on for a while about the dance feis!!

Yes, I just got back from my first feis (Irish Dance competition)!!! Which explains why I'm so excited and tired and blabbering on about this. It was a lot of fun and I placed a lot higher than I expected. All of the group dances I was in placed. My two-hand placed first!!! YAY! Not sure what the other three placed. Anyway, I placed in four out of seven of my solos! Three fourth places and one third place. Embarrassed to say that my sister did much better than I did. The only dance I placed higher than her was slip-jig. Oh, well! I'm actually really proud of her! And I'm eager to compete again!

I'll probably post a picture of my dress, which was really fun to dance in! Especially spinning and twirling. I also had the oppurtunity of meeting the fiddler there and a few really nice people who I was competing against. Most of them beat me. :P :D

Well, I'll sumarize by saying that I had a really great time! Can't wait to "feis" again!!! :D :D

Good night all and God bless!!!

ED P!!!!! Glad to hear you had such an awesome time at the concert! :)

Aww! You should have gotten it! :P But yeah, since you weren't sure, that could have been awkward if it wasn't him.
Great pics of Mike!
Ooh yes, doesn't Audrey have a gorgeous voice? I liked that one song of hers that has the lyrics "you have known me"... not sure what the name is. We bought her CD though so I can go back and listen to it. :P

And then for some random reason, Mike starts doing a Gollum impersonation! It was pretty funny .

Rofl! That's hilarious! He was a theater major in college, so he's really good at impersonations. ;))

I have three new favorites. Love is Here, Times, and Beloved.

Sweet! you know what, those are 3 of the 4 songs off of their album that they didn't play when they came to my town. :( But they did play Love Is Here in their soundcheck so we got to hear it then! :)

Consequently, I did not get to meet them... . We were pressed for time since it was a school night

:(Aw!! That's too bad! But yeah, the line to get their autographs does take a while to get through...
I gotta ask you (I know I've already asked this ) if Scott was there, or if they had a substitute bassist. Even if you didn't really know what Scott looks like, Mike probably mentioned something about them having a substitute if they did... so anyway. :P I'm really curious because Scott hasn't been with them on tour for a while. :S
But anyway!!!!!!!! I'm so glad that you enjoyed the concert! :D Did they play any new songs?
Oh, me and my mom have been doing better, thanks for asking. :) I think our colds are pretty much gone now. I still have a really stuffy nose, but I think that's just allergies... 'cause it's like that pretty much all year long. ;))
Great to hear that you're feeling better too!!

*listens to Forward Motion by TFK*

Only decent? Ruby says your piano playing is AMAZING Just like that... I'm thinking Ruby might be right. (That is if you're the one who plays the songs and writes sheet music for it?)

Hehe, that's so cute, Winter! All these smilies are so cute. :)

Hey MA! Yes, I'm using your sig. :p I love that quote from the book, and the transparent sig looked so cool. It's very pretty.
Well, it's only half the dictionary, and my mom told me she'll buy me a Gaither Vocal Band CD if I read half of it. I hope I might be finished by the New Year...maybe!

Yes, I agree, FF. A book would certainly be more interesting to read. ;) So what have you been doing lately?

It's 9 pages into the dictionary now, actually, EP. :p Sounds like you had a fantastic time at the concert! Those are great pictures.

Ruby, that's awesome! I'm sorry your feet are still hurting, but still, I'm glad you had so much fun at the feis. I'd love to see a picture of your dress!

Wow, this turned out to be a short ketchup. Only took about ten minutes. And it's a good thing too, because I have to go get breakfast and get ready for church this morning. :)

Did anyone watch the football game that was on yesterday? My dad kept cheering and wooting when Virginia Tech scored a touchdown (at least I think it was Virginia Tech...I dunno!). I didn't watch much of the game...I'm not really a fan of football. :p ;))

This morning I just found out that Guy Penrod now has his own website! It's so cool! Okay, well, I've got to get going now. Mortereve all!

It was pretty fun---when the horse behaved. :p This is one heavy horse, though: my friend (who volunteers at the stable once a week) calls said horse her "eleven-hundred pound baby" She's lost some weight now, though and is probably closer to 950 lbs. Still very heavy, though. Ow, I feel sorry for your sister.

*Chuckles* It's not unfortunate for the youngest though :D .

Oh, yes, those spoilt, er, blessed youngest siblings. ;)

Yes! That color goes perfectly with the boy's eyes in your avatar! By the way, is the boy in your avvy Bruno from The Boy in Striped Pajamas? :)

Cool! I was on the verge of sayign you were completely, totally, and utterly, wrong, when my oldest sister told me it was the same actor. Anyhow, it's the same actor but playing Mordred from the BBC Merlin. :)

Lol, yes I am the one who plays songs and does sheet music for them... but whether or not I'm amazing I'll let other people decide. :p

Aw, am I embarrassing you? Good. ;) I guess I'll have to listen to you play first...Is that possible?

. :-o II feel older everytime I have a birthday. B-)

Lucky you. :p ;) I'd say I haven't felt older since I turned fifteen, except I'm pretty sure I feel older than fifteen now. :-??

Hmm, I think that normal script would work quite well. ;))

Let me tell you a little story about my 'normal' script... I was doing something on a whiteboard, and someone asks, "Is that elvish?" :)) I assume that means my elvish script looks more elvish than elvish... if such a thing is possible. ;))

I love the song "O Come O Come Immanuel"! It's so beautiful.

It is! I don't think I've ever heard a version of it I didn't like, though I bet it'd be possible to create one... not sure why anyone would want to do that though.

Su², I got distracted by YouTube videos. I had to go check out wisewoman's, and then there were your original pieces... :D So the history ones are still on my 'to watch list'.

I think I prefer The Wind and the Lion for a arabian adventure. :)

Does it have camels in it? Or horses? And is it a good film to watch with the whole family? :) *likes Laurence of Arabia but y'all already knew that. ;)

That's not a new CD, is it?

No... it came out in 2008, I think. I was waiting for the library line to go down, and then I kind of forgot all about it until I saw it at Wal-Mart the other day. There was no line at the library, so I got it. There are some nice songs on it, but overall I think it's a) too much like some of her other CDs and b) a little depressing. :( But, "O, Come, O Come Immanuel" is stunning. :)

There is so much beautiful Christmas music and the radio stations choose the most inane songs...

AND they overplay them. I heard the same songs EVERY SINGLE DAY from Thanksgiving until Christmas. Well, except for the days they'd throw in "All I want for Christmas is a Hippopotomous'. I enjoyed that, but that was only five minutes of Christmas cheer. *hugs her Mannheim Steamroller CD--which also has a stunning rendition of "O, Come, O Come Immanuel"* I'd come home from work and listen to that over and over. :p (I'm sure you can see the flaw in my plan already... ;)) )

Winter, your new font colour matches the eye colour quite well. :D

What's up with this one: =:) ?

It's a... Cootie! ;))
