Good mortereve all!
*sigh* It's been a few pages since I've been here. Sorry.
Noo... but one starts to get the general idea.
I guess so.
I'm not sure what's best for strained muscles. Heat sounds good?
I don't know either. Maybe I should ask my dad.
I'd be happy to sign your book if you send me one to sign. Would you like it in a normal script, or would you like it in elvish lettering?
Yay! I'll have to see if that can be done... Hmm, I think that normal script would work quite well.
*waves to Ella/CS*
Happy (late) birthday to your sister, Fanny! Is it CountryGirl? (I think I have her name right...) flam and I used to get asked if we were twins a lot too.
I'm glad your first day of work went well! What are the ages of the kids you're working with?
The kids are kindergarten age. They are sooo cute!
Hello, hello, Bella!! Great to have you back!
NO!!! I will never give in!!!
(kidding as well....)
Well, you can never be too careful! Better to apologize too many times than not apologize at all!
*sniff* I don't know what to say. (But, it doesn't stop me from talking. )
You would know. (totally kidding!!)
Well, that's not nice of you! You should always take me seriously!
Bu---but, you said (in the above quote) that you were kidding...do I take you seriously or not?
I don't recall saying anything about acting, so I guess that makes us even?
I'm too lazy to go and look it up, so I guess it'll have to be.
Perhaps I didn't say that quite right... I meant it as in, I'm calling you 'The Opossum' because I can (the same thing about you calling me Worms). Make more sense now?
Lol, yes, I suppose that would look weird! (although, you make a funny looking opossum as well!)
Yes, I suppose that is why you do it.
Well, thanks for the compliment.
;)) Good one! "... and the truth is a bitter friend."
Thank you. "Reasons, few have I, to go back again."
Welcome back, Ben!
Lol, Djaq I should wear hair elastics on my wrist. I'm sure it comes in handy.
Yes, they are quite handy. I've been doing it for a long time, and my sisters usually ask me for one, if they don't have any.
*goes to put the lasagna in the oven* Yum!
Djaq, may I ask what your avatar is from?
Yes, you may. It's a picture of me looking at a sunset. Here's the base of it.
Good luck reading through the dictionary.
SPELC, you are the mother of my triplet? Neat!
*waves to BF* Welcome back!!
You most certainly are!
Lol, am I in trouble?
Hmm, what? Me, cheat? *innocent look* Hey, it's your fault I got all of Ben's long monologues.
*Riley winces. Ian grabs the flare just before it lands on the ground* Nice try, though! *Ian's glove and jacket sleeve light on fire. He drops the flare on the ground which lights the gunpowder on fire. Shaw starts taking pot shots at Ben and Riley while running out the door.* "Get out Shaw!" *Ian and Ben exchange a look, then Ian runs out the door and locks it behind him.*
You said that you'd been cheating a little. Don't try to look innocent to me. Well, it's not exactly my fault. I messed up one of the lines awhile back, and you corrected me, if we had continued like that, I would have had all of the monologues, but you messed up after that.
Wow, not only do you get all of the monologues, but you get the long descriptions too.
*Ben starts stamping around on the floor* "Riley, get over here!"
It didn't retain the color?! That's weird! Anyway, since I never had to format quotes, I'm too lazy to start now.
What's weirder is that flam's did retain the color (we used the same computer too).
Suit yourself.
"Thank you, I've been told that before!" In Due Season. (May have used that before. )
"Great, kid, don't get cocky." Star Wars. (If you have, I don't remember it, so you're off the hook. )
Yes, I do agree. (What am I agreeing to?)
Actually, now that I know how annoying a retainer is, I've come to appreciate my braces a little more, and I'm not looking forward to getting them off.
That braces are worth it.
Okay...Retainers really aren't bad! I've had mine since May, and it hasn't ever bothered me (it took me about twenty minutes to get it out the first time because I wasn't used to it ). Maybe the temporary retainer isn't going to be the same as the real one.
Humph! (Yes, I do. )
I wasn't one of the ones that posted while you were gone...I don't think. (Mmm hmm. )
Oh, I see. Well, since 1) I'm subscribed to the NarniaWeb feed in my media player and 2) I get e-mail updates from NarniaWeb, I know right away when any new podcast is out. Anyway, let me know when you've heard it.
Ah, well, I bet that helps. I'm not subscribed to either of those, so you'll have to update me. I still haven't listened to it.
Oh, it's the opposite with me—I can only do my right eyebrow. ('Tis that. )
I meant that I can only raise my left one up and down if I have both raised at the same time... Was that confusing? (Yup.)
I can imagine.
Mmm hmm.
I'll give a full report tomorrow.
*looks at calendar* Where are you??
*Gets up holding head* Thanks for pointing that out, I hadn't noticed. *Note to self: Don't bang head against tree-it hurts*
LOL! I hope that you remember that in the future!
Yeah, it wasn't. But I survived.
I noticed!
Oh, right. I know, that face scared people! The new one just looks like you're "off your rocker", so to speak.
Yes, it does. The other one looked evil, this one looks crazy... (which is basically what you said...)
Lol, Djaq, I love how you and Flambeau talk back and forth on here. It's quite amusing to read
I'm glad that you enjoy it. I'm a bit more open to saying whatever to her because I know that she'll get my humor.
TAN fan sounds funny too, since it rhymes.
I've been wondering. The site that you created...is it a TAN fan-site, or a fan TAN-site?
Oh, I absolutely love your cover of "Times"!!! It's gorgeous!! Well done!
I know! I've missed you over in the photography thread! How are you doing?
Here's a right back! I haven't posted there in a long time, have I? After you said that, I went and looked at it. You've taken some really neat pictures!! I'll have to see if I can find some or take some to post.
I'm doing really good. One of my sisters and her husband are coming over tonight to stay till tomorrow, so we've been cleaning and getting things ready (they're coming so that they can go to a wedding tomorrow ).
Welcome to the Square, Narnian at heart! It's a pleasure to have you join us! I'm Djaq, DJ, Jack, or Yash (that last one isn't commonly used though ). I hope that we shall be really good friends!
Normal me: Jojo!!! It's sooo nice to have you back!!
Seems like I've done something like this before somewhere...
"As if from a dream, or a dream of a dream."
I've been doing well. Doing school and my usual stuff. How about you?
That's good. I'm doing quite well. Things are getting busy around here, but it's nice.
Djaq, if anyone were like me they'd be flat out weird.
See? We're more alike again! I'm glad that you're weird too.
Thanks! Were you referring to my old coffee cup avatar, or my new Lizzy Bennet one?
I was referring to your coffee cup one, but I like your new one too!
The old one no longer feels like home, but rather a strange place.
It feels like a strange place to me because it's so empty. If I log on, I'm usually the only one there.
Lady Liln will attest to the fact that AVG is amazing.
It is really good!
*skims*
Hey, pogginfan! Lovely guitar! It looks great! I've wanted to learn how to play, but I don't think I'd be very good.
Wow, Djaq, I had no idea you liked to laugh and smile! Fancy that!
I just thought that I'd surprise you with that bit of information. Isn't it shocking?
No, you just accidentally typed my name "Dennis." Good thing, too!
I knew that I'd typed it like that a couple times, but I thought that I'd fixed it.
No, I don't think I'd heard Soft Goodbye. I'll have to sometime, since I liked the lyrics!
It's really pretty.
I'm listening to Nickel Creek right now. I like them a lot!
Yay! I'm glad to hear it (or, glad that you're hearing it )!! What songs are your favorite?
I had a nice time talking with Djaq anyway.
I'm glad. I didn't mean to interrupt anything.
I skimmed an awful lot, so, I apologize.
Mort'reve!

*makes her way into the Square after finishing writing her report about sea wasps*
I had a math quiz today, and I only missed one problem! And now that I've finished my report on sea wasps, I'm done with schoolwork today. So I thought I'd come over to the Square and write a ketchup post.
Oh, that sounds fun, SPELC! What are some of your favorite Christmas songs?
Lol, thank you, Meltintalle. I love the song "O Come O Come Immanuel"! It's so beautiful.
B_F, that's great that you're over your milk allergy!!
Lol, yes, FF. And it was weird that it's taking me so long to read just ONE page, because I usually zip through books in one day...but, yeah, a dictionary is a lot different from a book!
Yes, I know exactly how that is, NN95. And I know I've said this before, but I absolutely LOVE the new smilies (though, they're not so new anymore ). And, I believe there are more smilies on this forum than the old one, right?
4th of July?! Wow, NN95! But I just love Christmas music, don't you?
Ah, I see, D-T-R. Keira Knightly? Cool! I've heard that she's a good actress.
I'm glad that you're adjusting well to your new job, D-T-R! That's great that you're enjoying it a lot.
Dead? I haven't seen one, Winter, but this is, well, kinda close: Lol.
Aaaand...ketchup's done! And school is done as well, and now I have a whole weekend in front of me...ah, yeah!
~Lucy
EDIT: Djaq! That's a gigantic post!
Wow, I love how you changed the avatar of yourself around. It's a lovely picture.
Thank you! I'm only on page 9 so far, but...I'm working on it.

Catching up from p. 21:
It's great to see that you're a member of the Tenth Avenue North Club.
It seems to be growing. I think the Northies are taking over!
DTR, hello! I actually haven't read or seen Gods and Generals yet, but I intend to very soon. I really like your sig!
PELS, I'm so glad the avvies worked for you!
Thanks for the welcome, Djaq!
May I ask where your user name came from? It's really pretty!
Malkah is the Hebrew word for "queen". I thought it would make a fun Narnian(although indirectly) username. And yours is from the BBC Robin Hood, right? Djaq is awesome!
Volunteering at the horse ranch sounds fun! Do you ride normally, or did you just want to work for that particular program?
I'm doing my first competition this Saturday. I'm really excited. I think it's going to be a lot of fun.
That's great! Hope it goes really well for you!
Ah, yes! Squishing bugs is always fun!
Except for the ones that crunch.
CSLewisNarnia, those LOTR crochet characters are adorable. The detail is amazing!
LOL! I can just imagine two girls singing super loudly. ANd it worked, right?
It worked extremely well. We usually had to do it when no one else was home, however, due to the "joyful noise" we were making.
Yes, Fanny is different from most book heroines- especially the more warrior princess type ones. (I'm not sure what your opinion on those type of female characters is, so I won't say anymore. )
I don't mind warrior princess characters at all, unless they're somewhere they shouldn't be. *coughSusaninPCcough* They tend to be rather the norm, however, so I enjoy seeing that there's a place in the world for someone like Fanny as well.
*waves back to Queen Susan* Hello! Your Eowyn avatar is beautiful! I love the lighting.
...it is fun to be homeschooled.
I also love homeschooling and I will miss it terribly.
Homeschooling is amazing...I've got no homework, no cutting up frogs for bio with a lab partner you detest, no bad lunch food (I get leftovers everyday if I can steal them before my siblings get to them), and we can work school around my theater sched.
*adds a hearty "Ditto!", especially about the leftovers* Being a homeschooler is one of the greatest blessings God's given me. There's pros and cons, of course, but I really treasure being with my family and having the chance to study some unusual things.
Yes, I love watching football, too! Though, I don't watch too much college football, mostly professional.
Do you follow any teams in particular?
Narnia Girl, good luck reading the dictionary! You'll probably be a brilliant speller by the time you're done.
How have you been lately?
I've been doing great, thanks! School and activities keep me busy. How have you been? I'd love to hear about the TAN concert whenever you can! (Since no one else does, I'm sure. )
I attempted to upload the new firefox today. Good news: My computer didn't implode. Bad news: It didn't do much else, either.
If you have a firewall or something of the sort, try turning it off while you install Firefox. That's what kept it from working on my laptop for a long time. It may have absolutely no bearing on your computer, but thought I'd mention it. Hope you can get it to work!
You know what we need? A flip-flop wave emotion. That would be neat, wouldn't
That would be amazing! A flip-flop wave, a flip-flop hug...someone needs to go scour Yahoo.
My sister is almost as tall as me now. *sniff* I'm over it. I haven't grown in a year or two, I suppose I'm past that age. Oh well.
I'm 6'0 and I'm going to end up the shortest sibling in my family. That sounds like a Facebook group--"Big Sisters Whose Little Sisters Are Bigger".
*very much enjoyed the taxonomy of biscuits*
Hello Narnian at Heart! My name's malkah; I'm a Square newbie. It's nice to meet you!
*starts to skim, even though it's only been a few pages*
Broadway_Freak, I like the window-washing song.
SPELC and I more than know each other... she's my mother.
Really? That's so fun!
Benjamin, nice to meet you! Where are you going in Colorado?
Its that nice warm feeling you get when its dark, but your nice and toasty infront of a warm heater with a lovely soft throw on you, and a wonderful book about adventures, and not to forget the cup of hot tea!
I love your description. Is there a special reason you call that feeling "Terracotta"?
Oh dear, I need to run. I'll be back in later to finish. *waves to everyone* See ya!
Goodness, there's seven or eight posts just since I started writing this! You guys are insane!

I had a whole big long post typed out, and but it died when I tried to post it.
Aw, I'm sorry.
pogginfan: Hm, my brother has an old guitar that looks quite like that one! Not sure if they're "identical", but it looks close!
We got him a tiny violin and he started lessons. All of a sudden, he wasn't nearly so interested in practicing.
I wonder why that always seems to happen.
Ah! I seem to remember you talking about the festival earlier. It sounds quite interesting. Is it always a drama about Esther, or do you do other stories as well? *has made a note to watch some of the videos today*
No, this is the first year there's been an Esther drama. Each year there are usually different ones. Previous years there have been many dramas such as: Lady Jane Grey, Benjamin Franklin, Ruth, David and Goliath, George Washington, John Paul Jones, Martin Luther, "True Womanhood", "Shepherds" and... that's all I can remember. Anyway, anything from history pretty much. It's the "Providential History Festival", and the goal is to show through Dramas, Speeches, Table Displays and Essays how God providentially worked out a story. Sometimes it's pretty obvious (Such as Esther--Saved all the Jews!) but sometimes you learn quite a bit.
If you do watch some of the videos, please tell me what you thought! And as I said, if you don't have time... perfectly fine.
(The speech on "King Alfred the Great" is really good by the way.) 😉
Oh, but it is quite fun, being so strange! You can wear zippers on your ear, have a banana for a phone, and speak Keanese. It's a language my friend came up with.
Ah... How exciting! I'd rather wear earrings, have a normal phone and speak a language people can understand though... Depending. Speaking in accents is fun. Or speaking with a lithp. (lisp) or... ...
But they are, for the most part, good adventures, are they not? "The Adventure of the Speckled Band" is a good one- I remember first reading the children's abridged version years ago, so when I got to the real thing, I knew all about it.
Yes, they are very enjoyable! 😀 And I've read 3-4 in a day, so yes, I find it easy to forget which was which.
No worries, I wouldn't have known, but I heard it on the radio. Not being a Mac fan, I'm not too well-associated with their going-ons either.
(Ah, but you are a PC fan, I hope?)
;)) Ah, I'm terribly sorry. I am both a PC and a Mac fan. Or neither. I really don't have much of a preference... Throw rotten fruits and vegetables at me if you must. I'm using a Mac right now actually. And it's working well.
Seriously, I like both, and probably the same amount... Who knows.
For awhile, I stared blankly at this, and wondered what in the world you were saying. I thought it had something to do with DITTO. But then I studied it a bit more, and realized that it was my "name."
Oh, good, a PM sounds good!
*scoops up the precious wave*
I dunno *where* Betsie is. Actually, I do have a pretty good idea . . . probably at her house.
I suppose I did rather draw the "D", "T", and "R" out quite a bit. *laugh* Sorry about that. 😉
Hm, yes, I suppose she probably is at her house... But I wish she was "here" as well.
Yes, my friend. I believe you've been reading Sherlock Holmes for as long as I've known you.
Oh dear. I'm afraid you're probably right, and it's rather embarrassing. You see, I have a rather bad habit of picking up a book, reading it for a while, and then setting it aside for a few months at a time, and then finally picking it up again. This is fine with a book like SH, which is split into little separate stories so you can start wherever, but with a book like the Two Towers ( which has been sitting on my shelf for probably over a year.) you have to pick it up and get into the story again. So. Yeah. I had to laugh at this. Out loud. But.... I'm finished with the first volume now.
Really? I think having older brothers would be nice in some aspects, but you can hardly ask an older brother for help when you can't find an acceptable outfit to wear. Or you can't borrow your older brothers shoes. You're probably right-most people don't know what they're missing. I don't, either, but I've heard from Ruby, and having younger brothers sounds like it can be fun and annoying at the same time. Is it?
Aw, how old is your niece?
That's true. Though I do ask my brothers what they think of what I'm wearing. They've told me before that it didn't match. Mostly they usually tell me that it looks great. But true, I can't borrow the shoes to go somewhere. Unless it's just outside.
Yep, having little brothers is both fun and slightly annoying at times. Usually fun, and I shouldn't be annoyed over petty things. My niece is... *counts* 4 months in a few days!!
*waves back to Queen Susan* Hello! Your Eowyn avatar is beautiful! I love the lighting.
Oh, thank you! I really like your avatar too. And your name is very pretty! (*Read what it meant*)
Avatar by Wunderkind_Lucy!
Mortereve all!
Hey, that's great! So, it was just a matter of growing out of it?
BTW, do you have a nickname?
Yeah, we think it was because of my adolescence. But none of my family members are doctors...who knows?
People call BF, B_f, Broadway, Broad, Barf(y)..... I'm pretty flexible
Ah... How exciting! I'd rather wear earrings, have a normal phone and speak a language people can understand though... Depending. Speaking in accents is fun. Or speaking with a lithp. (lisp)
*shakes head* Normal people Keanese is actually only a written language. You randomly slam on your keyboard and then translate for those unfortunate enough to be in the vicinity.
*adds a hearty "Ditto!", especially about the leftovers* Being a homeschooler is one of the greatest blessings God's given me. There's pros and cons, of course, but I really treasure being with my family and having the chance to study some unusual things.
Broadway_Freak, I like the window-washing song.
*nods* It does rock, doesn't it?
Oh, thank you What a beautiful part of my childhood that was...singing about chores.
I do like other teas, but chai is marvelous, is it not?!
Hmm, that sounds rather familiar . . . Except in my case, I have two older brothers, and a younger brother and sister.
Yes, 'tis! It smells like gingerbread to me
Trust me, you're not missing anything with your lack of an older sister. They tend to be right more than is their fair share, yet they tend to go about telling you it in the wrong way. But I love her anyways!
You should tlak to MeadowMaid she feels the same way.Does it bother you that you're the third daughter, too? Third daughters are apparently very misunderstood.
I guess its just that I'm an actress as it is....and being a middle child, and a teenager----I'm so overly-dramatic it scares most people and Canada.
But yes, we are misunderstood. *dramatic sigh*
*waves to BF* Welcome back!!
Thanks! It's good to be back!
*makes her way into the Square after finishing writing her report about sea wasps*
B_F, that's great that you're over your milk allergy!!
*Wonders aloud what seawasps are*
Oh thanksies! Its amazing---CHEESE!
Hmmm....Now off to get some soda, watch some X-men, and GIMP!!!

Hello all! *Waves*
LOL! I hope that you remember that in the future!
LOL, so do I!
I noticed!
You did? I didn't!
Yes, it does. The other one looked evil, this one looks crazy... (which is basically what you said...)
Basically. Oh, well, now we have a face to describe a lot of us, 'round here!
Dead? I haven't seen one, Winter, but this is, well, kinda close: Lol.
LOL, I like that one! It sorta looks like someone was offended by a joke that the smiley made, doesn't it?
Malkah is the Hebrew word for "queen". I thought it would make a fun Narnian(although indirectly) username. And yours is from the BBC Robin Hood, right? Djaq is awesome!
You watch the BBC's Robin Hood, too? Have you seen all three seasons?
If you have a firewall or something of the sort, try turning it off while you install Firefox. That's what kept it from working on my laptop for a long time. It may have absolutely no bearing on your computer, but thought I'd mention it. Hope you can get it to work!
Thanks for the suggestion! I know that's not the problem, though---I have an older version of firefox. It actually kinda downloaded, it downloaded as a file folder on my computer, which is utterly useless.
That would be amazing! A flip-flop wave, a flip-flop hug...someone needs to go scour Yahoo.
That would be so neat! Yeah someone should! Any volunteers?
That's true. Though I do ask my brothers what they think of what I'm wearing. They've told me before that it didn't match. Mostly they usually tell me that it looks great. But true, I can't borrow the shoes to go somewhere. Unless it's just outside.
Yep, having little brothers is both fun and slightly annoying at times. Usually fun, and I shouldn't be annoyed over petty things. My niece is... *counts* 4 months in a few days!!
lol, *is suddenly reminded of her former classmate who asked her brother for all kinds of advice* Yeah, but don't all siblings do that? (I mean, tell their siblings they a) look great or b) don't match.) I always tell my sisters they look lovely unless something really doesn't go. Only four months? Aw, I love babies...They're so cute and they don't call you names or talk back or anything. (Of course there is the whole crying thing, but they can't help it, now can they?)
I guess its just that I'm an actress as it is....and being a middle child, and a teenager----I'm so overly-dramatic it scares most people and Canada.
But yes, we are misunderstood. *dramatic sigh*
I guess so. And Canada? Do you mean in Canada?
*Rolls eyes* You think you're misunderstood, try being second youngest and the fourth child---nobody understands me.
See y'all!

Hello everyone!!
*feels like stating the obvious right now* Well, I didn't finish my ketchup on Tuesday! So... I'm going to try and finish it up today!
*waves to Bella, Ella, and FF* How are y'all doing?
Aw, sorry I missed your birthday, flam! But a belated one anyways!!
That's alright! Thank you!
Hey Ben! Good to see you around again!
My piano lesson went great, thanks, flambeau! I'm working on playing some Gaither Vocal Band songs, as well the song "Where" from the LWW soundtrack.
I'm glad to hear it!
Ooh, that sounds like fun! May I ask what Gaither Vocal Band songs you're working on?
Um, wow... Good luck on reading through the dictionary! That's a lot more than what I'd do for a new cd! I hope you can do it!
Hello JotM! Great job on your blog entry! My favorite line was this one: "If I am the problem, then I am certainly not the cure, nor can my efforts toward one have any effect."
Excellent point!!
Hey Broadway_Freak! So glad to see you again!
Just to be sure I have this right, your nickname is Elphie, correct?
Yeah, they're both graphic, but I've only seen parts of Saving Private Ryan, never The Patriot.
Oh, cool! Always cool to stumble upon a nice soundtrack like that, eh? Do you know who wrote it?
Aha.
Absolutely! It was written by Trevor Rabin (he wrote the music for National Treasure 1 and 2). Unfortunately, you can't buy the musical score for the film (I found one on Amazon.com, it was insanely expensive!!!)! You can only get the oldie songs and one of the instrumental songs on the soundtrack. I was a bit disappointed.
AAAAAAAHHH! (Boy, you sure know how to irritate the grammar freaks around here. )
Yup I do (and boy is it fun!!! )!
Perhaps a bit belated, but...HAPPY BIRTHDAY FLAM! Hope it was a great one!
Thank you so much! It was a great one!
It sounds liek you had a great birthday, Flam! Mmh, do mind sharing a bit 'o cake?
Not at all! Enjoy!! (and yes, that is the kind of cake that I had for my birthday! It's delicious!)
I'm kinda sick, kinda not right now . No, I didn't have any time last week to get it up, I'm thinking that I'm not going to have much time to keep up with either my video blog or my blog this year . I've been reading a lot lately too! What are you reading (if you don't mind my asking)?
I know what you mean! Not fun! I hope you're feeling all well by now!
Aww, that's a bummer! Any particular reason why not?
Cool! I don't mind at all! I have been reading historical fiction books lately. Specifically Gods and Generals, The Killer Angels, and Gone for Soldiers. They're all really good (there's some language in them, just so you know)! I'm planning on reading Last Full Measure next.
What have you been reading?
How was the TAN concert?
No, not really. I just don't want you to die anytime soon, 'cause we'd all miss you. And be very:
Aww, thank you! I'll do my very best not to die anytime soon (although, that's not exactly up to me to decide though. )
Aw, thanks! Do, I sense a wave of flip-flop hugs coming on?
Absolutely!
*waves to Flam and Queen S*
*waves back* Howdy stranger!!
Flam, I saw that earlier it was your birthday, and I wasn’t here for that, so: Happy Belated Birthday!
Thank you Bella!!
Yeah, I've listened to Run Away Girl too! Djaq sent me that one and This Side and told me that This Side was your favorite, but if I couldn't do that one I could do the other one. (that sounds confusing)
Nah, it's not confusing! (Djaq told me about it the other night, so I figured out what you meant. ) Neat! Did you like it?
*waves to Cep*
Flambeau, I couldn't find your post, but I knew you said hullo. How have you been? Did I hear correctly that you birthday was recently? Happy belated birthday!!
Hello MeadowMaid!! I'm glad you were able to drop by!
I've been doing wonderful! How about yourself?
You did hear correctly! Thank you so much!
Jojo!!! I'm so glad to hear that you were finally able to get your account transferred!!
Very well. It would be hard to try and come up with a new nickname for you and besides, "The elusive sister of Djaq" just sounds so.... right.
Thank you! It does have a certain ring to it, doesn't it?
Flam, SPELC and I more than know each other... she's my mother.
Aha, that explains a few things! Thanks for clearing that up!
Hey Dani!!
Nice new guitar poggin!! I like!
Please don't wrack too hard! I don't want my friend to get hurt!
*stops wracking* Oh, thank you!
And that's fine about having to leave. I understand. I had a nice time talking with Djaq anyway.
I'm sure you did! (as you always do, I'm sure. )
Alright, *writes long list in her head*, whenever you're ready for those book suggestions.
Ready and waiting! Just say the word!
Oh, I finished Gone for Soldiers this morning. It was good! I enjoyed getting to see many of the main fighters in the Civil War as young soldiers!
*is listening to These Brave Irishmen from Gods and Generals right now* It's an absolutely beautiful song from a heartbreaking scene in the film! I almost cried last time I watched it!
*sniff* I don't know what to say. (But, it doesn't stop me from talking. )
You would know. (totally kidding!!)
So would you!
Bu---but, you said (in the above quote) that you were kidding...do I take you seriously or not?
You should take my kidding seriously. I am always serious! (um, yeah right!)
I'm too lazy to go and look it up, so I guess it'll have to be.
Tehehe!
Yes, I suppose that is why you do it.
Well, thanks for the compliment.
Yup!
You're very welcome!
Thank you. "Reasons, few have I, to go back again."
"Your first dawn blinded you..."
Hey malkah!!
*returns flam's wave* The same as last year, eh? I think I'd be really surprised if I actually woke up some birthday and actually felt older. Hmmm... my name doesn't even really make sense backwards.
Yup, interesting how that works eh?
Ditto!
Not really, most names probably don't (with a few exceptions that is).
I do believe that I'm caught up now! Yahoooo!
Soooo, what's everyone else up to this fine mortereve? I'm not up to much, just hanging out.
See y'all later! Have a great night!

Ello Everyone! It's been a wonderful day today
Anywho, I shall catchup
It's for the "Providential History Festival" which is put on once a year. This is the... 3rd year (?) I believe that it's happened, though the 2nd year it was both in the spring and the fall. Anyway, it's a drama about Esther. 😀 Though it doesn't go through it all step by step, but there is an "interviewer" (...me) who asks the people (Haman, Zeresh, Vashti, and Mordecai) their views on what happened, and slowly... *dramatic pause* Everything unfolds!!
Um, yeah. Anyway, I'm really excited for it, and it seems to be going fairly well. We'll see though. Obviously we're all trying hard not to have it be... "corny." It's embarrassing for both the people in the play and the people watching it if it's badly done. So.
Here's a few of last year's entries, videoed. (Obviously, don't feel obligated to watch.) http://www.vimeo.com/provhistory
Lol, sounds very interesting. Ah, Esther, nice story to do a drama on. Lol, wow! It sounds alot like a play we once saw, it was based onthe "Prodigal Son" story and it had an interviewer and everything. It was kind of funny at the part when the Prodigal Son told his story, then asked, "Do you have any food?" and the Interviewer says, "Eh.. *searces around in his pockets* here have a Fig Newton *tosses it towards the Prodigal Son*."
Bella! And Ella! That was far too long of an absence from both of you. It's wonderful to see you two.
Well, how do you do Miss Poggy?
Its wonderful to see you too!
Yes, playing the piano is wonderful, CS! I love playing Christmas hymns or songs near Christmastime - that's always fun.
Oh, that's neat! I would love to teach my friends how to play the piano.
Aww, yep, I love playing songs during that time. ^.^ Which Hymns and songs are your favorite?
Also, I love playing songs that I hear by my favorite artists, and soundtrack songs I learned how to play a pretty famous song, and my friends all want to learn it.
D'aww thankyou Ng! Yes, I hope that it all turns out well.
CSLN- Thank you, Pebbles helped me pick that out and I love it.
Ah, I see. Well, it's a lovely avvy.
How are you doing?
Ella: Ah, okay! If you ever make them all, or when you're done one or two, maybe you could post pictures?
D'aww! Okidoke. I'll post pictures, and the instructions too, if anyone is interested.
Oh yay! That's great- I'm glad you were able to renew it.
As I am too. I'm still reading it, and its very good so far.
*laughs* Haha- I love the ice cream joke. Hehehe!
Lol! Yep, Aitb's one funny girl She can come up with witty comments, or funny jokes fast.
Do you have any jokes to tell?
What are you rolling your eyes at? *doesn't remember what we were talking about*
What about you? Are you taking Spanish, too?
Oh gosh, you and Aitb read it wrong I meant, Yeah yeah go ahead and roll the eyes. Or maybe it was me who typed it...
Yep, I'm taking it too Its pretty good at the moment. We can't speak to each other yet, but we're trying.
*waves back to Djaq* How are you doing?
CSLewisNarnia, those LOTR crochet characters are adorable. The detail is amazing!
I was shocked still when I saw the detail. I am amazed at the detail it took for that person to make the hair, the clothing, etc.
It worked extremely well. We usually had to do it when no one else was home, however, due to the "joyful noise" we were making.
Lol! Hee, "joyful noise".
I love your description. Is there a special reason you call that feeling "Terracotta"?
Thankyou. Lol, I have a book about little household items or rooms with little cute illustrations of things around the house, and in the front there are many shades of different colors which are "around the house colors". It had a terracotta-ish color, which made my sister and I think of that winter time feeling hence the name "terracotta"
*waves to flambeau * Very well thankyou, and You?
Now, I must depart, may you all have a nice moretereve, and a lovely time doing whatever activity you are doing.

Every time I think of a quote or witty comment to put here, the quote is not so spectacular and the comment is not so witty.
*enters square exhausted*
*groans* My feet hurt! Just danced two and a half hours...and I have a feis tomorrow . Prayer would be much appreciated! Pray that I get up on time, get enough sleep tonight and get everything ready and finished that needs to be done before tomorrow.
Speaking of getting things done on time and getting to bed I need to get off the computer soon, so this post is going to be brief .
What have you been doing lately?
Dance, dance, and more dance! Not to mention a TON of homework. This was really a bad weekend for a feis. I'm still looking forward to it though! I get to wear this really, really pretty dress! I'll have to take a picture of it tomorrow and put it up here!
Now that you mention it... *laughs* Maybe they were aiming for a slightly older-and-less-impressionable audience?
*laughs*
Have you seen the newer vegitales? They aren't very good. I nearly threw up watching The Wonderful Wizard of Has.
*is really tired*
Aw, everyone in the Square is nice, it's not just me!
True.
Something like that. Not to mention the whole doing-the-wrong-problem-set thing.
Oh, yes! I heard about that! I hope everything turned out alright. By the looks of your sticker-page, it looks like you've been doing pretty well. Love ya! Have fun with all the homework! I'll probably be finishing all mine up Sunday afternoon/evening, since I'll be gone all tomorrow. Ugh.
That's great! Hope it goes really well for you!
Thanks, malkah! I'm sure everything will. How have you been doing lately?
Except for the ones that crunch.
But it is nice when they make a little "splat" noise. I've gotten especially good at squishing mosquitos...I hate the little creatures. Speaking of which, while waiting outside in the parking lot for my mom tonight, one of those wretched little beasties tried to eat me! Got my finger, but that was all. It headed for my arm (big mistake) and you probably know what happened next...
Hey Dani!!
flambeau!!!!!
Hey Djaq!!!!! How are you? It's been a while since you've been on the square! Good to see you!
Well, I really need to be off to bed now!

*Cor and Vern enter the Square discussing their latest film viewing*
Mortereve all! Well, last night I bought Lawrence of Arabia and tonight I finally finished it. (a 3 1/2 hour epic, for those that have never heard of it). It was a good film, though I disliked the down-beat ending. I think I prefer The Wind and the Lion for a arabian adventure.
O.K, catching-up:
@ Winter. Well, on Wed. I was doing well and today I am also doing well. Glad for the weekend, of course. and you?
@ Pels. Hello! I've just realized I've neglected to mention you in my posts.....
*That's not very kind of you, you know. Seeing as how you're a prince and all.*
True, true Vern. So, how have you been, miss Pels? It's good to see your Mom around the Square.
@ Broadway_Freak. Well, it does sound like you have had a very exciting life! Glad you're back though.
The nickname.... the nickname.... *racks brain* Elphie, correct? I remember calling someone here "Elphie"....
@ Ruby. Oh, I see. Well, your posts are fine.
@ CSLN. Thank you! I found out that if I mention that I like soundtracks, most people give me a blank look (especially kids my age). But, if I say I like Classic Rock, then pretty much everyone knows exactly what I'm talking about. Yes, yes!!! It's always a little annoying when people belittle soundtracks because "they all sound the same"....
Besides soundtracks, I'm not familiar with any of the others. The names are familiar, though.
Thanks and yes. That lovely feeling of getting near the end of a subject only to realize you are going to be starting a new one.... *sigh* Such is life. Right now, I'm reading various online books on the Answers in Genesis website until my books come in.
@ Destined- my Mod friend, er, Modly friend, er, friend who is a Mod? Oh good, I am glad you have already disposed of them. Nasty things they are after they have been "used". *shudders*
Well, most of the time it's my own fault. Usually get sucked into a movie that has a strange creature in it and then find out it's some horrible, gory 80's movie. This has happened to me too many times..... Now a-days though, I do plenty of research on the movies I'm interested in to make sure they are worth seeing. (also, Mom and Dad come in handy if they now anything about the movie.) Yeah, the Village is a pretty creepy movie, though not in the usual sense.
I thought it was really neat myself. I'm liking it a good deal. Even though it's college level stuff, it makes perfect sense to me.
*Hello miss Destined! It is nice to see you around. I'm afraid I was not able to make a post in your MotW thread, but I do want to say congrats for getting one! Quite an honor, yes?*
Oh yes, not to be nosy or pushy, but did you get my PM's I sent you last week?
@ Djaq. Glad you're doing well as well. It's a little more busy around here as well, but that's mostly because of school.
@ Flam. Welcome! Yes, it does. Kind of a mysterious quality to it.
*waves to anyone he did not mention by name*

Oh yes, Lady A and KingLune send they're royal "hello's" to all the SquareOnions.
Well, I think I'll be off to watch Indiana Jones. I hope everyone has a good Friday night and a good Saturday!

We just got a box of AMAZING peaches from a lovely man who lives where all the peach orchards are in my state. We can't get good ones where we live, so every time he's in town, he brings us a big box of heaven. Did I mention he was a lovely man?
Finishing a quick catch-up before more pages sprout:
Narnia Girl, is there a particular GVB cd you'd like to get when you're done with the dictionary?
What's wrong with Rosetta Stone? Well, granted, it is rather monotonus and not step-by-step. Rather disorganized.
Personally, I don't see how anyone can learn anything on it. I'm sure it works for some people just fine, don't get me wrong, but it seems so random and disorganized, like you said.
Rosetta Stone was what ended my attempts at learning Spanish. I know language experts swear by the "immersion" method, but you can't learn anything when they don't define the words. It's worked well for a lot of people I know, though; it's just different learning styles.
Aslanisthebest, I do think it's great that you're learning Spanish! It's definitely a language worth knowing!
(Haha, just now thought of putting those together. )
Nice!
I'm sorry you're losing your posts, WinterStar!
Lovely guitar, pogginfan! How long have you been playing?
All right, I have a confession to make. Here goes. *takes a deep breath* I started listening to Christmas music yesterday.
Good for you! I listen to it all year round! Especially instrumental and Josh Groban. Oh, and Travis Cottrell, who I call the Christian Josh Groban. He has a beautiful Christmas CD.
I got Enya's Christmas/winter CD from the library...Her rendition of 'O Come O Come Immanuel' is AMAZING.
Oooh, I'll have to look it up on Youtube! That's not a new CD, is it?
that'd be soooo much nicer than listening to 'Santa Baby'--which makes my head hurt.
Ditto! That and "Frosty the Snowman." There is so much beautiful Christmas music and the radio stations choose the most inane songs...
Broadway_Freak: That's fantastic your allergy's gone! Did you just suddenly outgrow it?
It's a picture of me looking at a sunset. Here's the base of it.
That's a gorgeous pic! And your avvy is lovely too, by the way.
Queen Susan, the Providential History Festival sounds really fun. What a good idea!

You watch the BBC's Robin Hood, too? Have you seen all three seasons?
I've seen all of seasons 1 and 2, and about half of season 3. Season 3--
Season 1 and 2 are great, though! What's your favorite season?
I know that's not the problem, though---I have an older version of firefox. It actually kinda downloaded, it downloaded as a file folder on my computer, which is utterly useless.
I'm sorry! Downloading halfway is almost more frustrating than not downloading at all.
Flambeau! Your cake looks delicious! And this is way late, but happy birthday.
It was kind of funny at the part when the Prodigal Son told his story, then asked, "Do you have any food?" and the Interviewer says, "Eh.. *searces around in his pockets* here have a Fig Newton *tosses it towards the Prodigal Son*."
LOL! I don't remember Fig Newtons in the New Testament version.
Hee, "joyful noise".
*nods* The neighbors loved it, I'm sure.
Ah, I see about "terracotta". That sounds like a fun book!
Hi Ruby! It sounds like an intense evening! If you don't mind my asking, what's a feis?
I'll be praying for you! And I'm looking forward to seeing your dress.
Have you seen the newer vegitales? They aren't very good.
Veggietales movies have gone down a bit ever since they finished most of the Bible stories, I think. There's a few exceptions, of course.
How have you been doing lately?
I've been doing pretty well, mostly school and Bible study. It's been quiet. Last night, though, we went to an indoor butterfly habitat. Apparently in the evening, the butterflies are really active, so they were swarming all around and landing on us five at a time. It was really neat!
I've gotten especially good at squishing mosquitos...I hate the little creatures.
Those are hard to get...but it's sooo satisfying when you do.
It headed for my arm (big mistake) and you probably know what happened next...
Death and Destruction?
Hello Cor! How are you doing?
It was a good film, though I disliked the down-beat ending.
I liked Lawrence of Arabia, although it wasn't one of my favorites. The storyline is fascinating historically, though; how a non-Arab ended up being the one who led the Arabs to freedom. As for the ending: I was glad they put the tragic part at the beginning. That helped.
I've never heard of The Wind and the Lion. Is it from the same time period movie-wise?
Well, I think I'm finally all caught up and typed out, so I will skip over to Fan Art and repeat the process. Have a good night, everyone!

No school! It's Saturday!!!
malkah: Lol, thank you!
B_F, sea wasps are the most venemous jellyfish in the world. If someone is stung by a sea wasp, they have only seconds to live. Fortunately for us, though, the sea wasp is found only near Australian beaches.
Lol! It does, Winter! And look at this funny one:
Sure! I'm working on one GVB song on the piano called "Glorious Impossible," flambeau. Here's a YouTube link to them singing the song if you'd like to hear it.
Thanks, flambeau...though I'm not doing very good at reading the dictionary so far. It's difficult!
CS, some of my favorite Christmas songs are "O Come All Ye Faithful," "O Holy Night," and "Noel." But everyone tells me that when I was super little, I used to call it "Doel" instead of "Noel." So everyone teases me about that at Christmas...
And recently I found a really cool and funny GVB Christmas song. Here's a link to it if you'd like to hear it:
I love dancing, Ruby. Sounds like you've been busy!
Well, malkah, I'd like to get a GVB CD called "I Do Believe." There are so many good GVB CDs, it'd be hard to choose!
All right, ketchup's done. Anyway, today's Saturday, so I'll probably be reading a lot. Mortereve all!

Hello all! *Waves*
Hmm, what do y'all think of this new font color? Does it go just a little bit?
Aww, thank you! I'll do my very best not to die anytime soon (although, that's not exactly up to me to decide though. )
That is true... So, on that happy note have you read any good books lately?
Absolutely!
Neat!
Oh, yes! I heard about that! I hope everything turned out alright. By the looks of your sticker-page, it looks like you've been doing pretty well. Love ya! Have fun with all the homework! I'll probably be finishing all mine up Sunday afternoon/evening, since I'll be gone all tomorrow. Ugh.
I hope so, too. Ruby, I have a grand total of four stickers, in two classes. Honestly, I think I have a B in both of them...Or worse.
@ Winter. Well, on Wed. I was doing well and today I am also doing well. Glad for the weekend, of course. and you?
That's good to hear. I've been doing ok, I've walked into walls, done the wrong problem set in math, and made a point-deducting typo in science, but other than that I'm just great. (So, I'm ok but I'm really glad I can rest on the weekend.)
I've seen all of seasons 1 and 2, and about half of season 3. Season 3--I felt the storyline just went off the deep end.
Season 1 and 2 are great, though! What's your favorite season?
It did get really weird. Well, technically they're not.
I don't know, I like episodes from both seasons one and two. Do you have a favorite season?
I'm sorry! Downloading halfway is almost more frustrating than not downloading at all.
Yeah, it is. Do you think that's because you think it's downloading and you get all excited and then it doesn't?
Lol! It does, Winter! And look at this funny one:
LOL, that's pretty funny. What's up with this one: ?
See y'all!

My fortune read, You will soon receive a fortune, and I couldn't figure out if that was supposed to be a self-fulfilling prophecy (cheaters!) or license to ask the waiter for another one ("Well, I know usually everyone only gets one, but mine said I'd soon receive a fortune, and since I already had received one by the time I read that, it means I get another, hey?").
Haha! You're so clever I never would have thought of it that way.
hey Lucy! Yay, you're using my sig!
Whoa, that's quite impressive that you're reading the dictionary. When do you expect to be done by?
Ruby sings it a LOT. The other day I listened to some of their songs, but I didn't like it much. It wasn't horrible, but it didn't, oh, I don't know, click isn't really the right word. It just wasn't something I really wanted to listen to. I'm sure you're not that bad! From what I've been told, you're actually very good!
Well, I know what you mean. Some songs that a lot of my friends like just don't strike a chord with me. So it's fine! Lol, I'm not very good at singing... but I'm decent at piano.
*finally waves back to Nutty from when he waved a looong time ago*
I know. Just kidding! It was a joke, but you are special. 😉 Though... I don't think I was on the clouds all day because of it.
xD I know it was a joke. It was funny.
Yeah, I suppose you already read this; but we go to church in Omaha, (;))) and even though we were that close, we didn't go! I would have gone gladly, but my brothers I guess weren't too enthused. They may have seen them at Lifelight though... I'm not sure. Anyway, I was playing "Hold My Heart" on the piano (a simple, modified version that I came up with... After all, I don't know if you've come up with sheet music.) and my older brother is like
"Did you know they're having a concert in Omaha tonight?"
Hm. "No." No one tells me these things. 😉
BTW, not to... bother you or anything, (;))) but I don't suppose you have sheet music to "Beloved"?
AWWWWW! That is so sad that you didn't go to their concert in Omaha! o.O YOU SHOULD HAVE GONE! Without your brothers! Aw! Well make sure you go next time they give a concert anywhere near you!
Hehe... not yet, but I will hopefully write music for it soon-ish... along with Times and a couple others.
Hey!! My brother listens to that radio station all the time at his work!! I'm not sure if he listens to it over the internet, or if he actually gets it... But since you live a ways away from us, he probably listens over the internet. Maybe you do too. Who knows. His work is about an hour drive from our house though...
Really? Sweet! I had never heard of it until MonkeySaru told me about it and all of a sudden it seems like everyone knows about it. Yeah, I can't get it here, I listen over the internet. The closest station is like 60 mi away and apparently that's too far...
Kat, I know I was just thinking that when I saw you on Aslanscountry. I hope you are doing well.
Oh yeah... I did see you on AC! Lol, I feel really bad for not remembering that!
Sooo awesome that you got a guitar Poggy! It looks great!!
I'm a bit more open to saying whatever to her because I know that she'll get my humor.
Haha, that's so true!
I've been wondering. The site that you created...is it a TAN fan-site, or a fan TAN-site?
Either one works, I suppose.
Oh, I absolutely love your cover of "Times"!!! It's gorgeous!! Well done!
Aw, thank you! I didn't think it would really work at first because it's kind of repetitive but I actually like the way it turned out. And the repetitiveness will make it easy to write sheet music for it.
Nah, it's not confusing! (Djaq told me about it the other night, so I figured out what you meant. ) Neat! Did you like it?
Oh yeah!! It's really pretty! It's has sort of a more melancholy feeling about it compared with This Side. I liked both of the songs, but I picked This Side since she told me it was your #1 favorite.
*walks in dancing to a DC*B song*
Sweet. I LOVE WE ARE LOVED. The chorus is just so danceable.
Hey Ruby! *waves* aww, I'm sorry that your feet hurt! That's a really long time to be dancing for. I don't do Irish dancing, but I know it's really energy draining! I hadn't taken Scottish dance lessons for like 3 months over the summer and so in August when I had my first one again I was sooo out of shape and felt awful.
Ok, I should go practice the piano or do math or history (on a Saturday, yes, :S) or something useful. See ya!!

Hmm, what do y'all think of this new font color? Does it go just a little bit?
It works, but it is hard for these aging eyes to read. I did not know there was a color in the menu for "Dodger Blue."
... I should go practice the piano or do math or history (on a Saturday, yes, :S) or something useful.
Because lounging in Town Square is not particularly useful?
