Oh, I have missed these very long posts which make my head hurt and my face smile.
I should be doing school......but I detest spanish and spanish detests me, so we've reached a mutual agreement that I should probably stop. Except I don't think my morther would agree. All I've learned is how to say potatoes (papas), call any man or woman ugly (La muchacha/mujer/el hombre/nino es feo), and how to say washing machine (lavadora). So if my life depended on my ability to speak spanish, I would be helpess but to insult someone while putting my potatoes in a washing machine.

Hey Narnia Girl! Its great to see/talk to you again!

So who was it that recommended The Ranger's Apprentice series?

*returns flam's wave* The same as last year, eh? I think I'd be really surprised if I actually woke up some birthday and actually felt older. Hmmm... my name doesn't even really make sense backwards.
I am going to "play practice" for a drama I'm in.
What drama? Is it for church?
As I have seen.
See, it works! It makes me memorable and unique.
would you rather be a barnacle or a leech?
Barnacle. It seems like they get to go more places and see more action. And if you say, "Blisterin' Barnacles!" you could sound like Captain Haddock.
Hey Ben! It's nice to see you again. I was one of the people who recommended Ranger's Apprentice. Did you like it?

Haha, oh yes, there are plenty of those around.
I'm sorry that you and Spanish have mutual detestation for each other.

Okay, this is NOT a ketchup post since I still have some schoolwork to do, but I had to tell you guys this.
I was looking up a word in the dictionary this afternoon, and my mom saw me. I forget what exactly she said, but she teased me about reading through the entire dictionary. Then she became serious about it, and she told me that if I read through half of the dictionary, she'll buy me a Gaither Vocal Band CD!
I know it sounds crazy. It'll definitely be a challenge reading half of the dictionary. But I shall do it for a GVB CD.
Uh...now that that's said, I'd better be off. More schoolwork..gah. And then I'll see how much of the dictionary I can read in one day. Mortereve all!

I am finished with Spanish! Well, I've been finished for awhile...but then I had to go brown some beef to put in the crockpot so I can have dinner before Alice rehearsal and then I got distracted playing around on GIMP
I'm sorry that you and Spanish have mutual detestation for each other.
Its alright. I think we have gotten used to it. Maybe its just that I detest Rosetta Stone...
*I know it sounds crazy. It'll definitely be a challenge reading half of the dictionary. But I shall do it for a GVB CD.
Compared to other things I've heard today, you sound super sane. But I suppose if its for a good cd.....Even though I've never heard of them. I guess my musical taste barely extends past Broadway....

Do not be apologize! You have school work. If a few us mods get any hint that you are neglecting school for hanging out in Ditto Town, we may ban you temporarily. *is not entirely serious about such a threat*
Lol! My mom found that amusing Well, it is a reasonable "threat", you could say.
I apologize for my absence. School has taken a lot of my time lately. I started real Algebra today
And the same goes for your sister. Yes, it is a reasonable threat, but I would not want you to think the mods mean, terrible tyrants either.
I should be doing school ... we've reached a mutual agreement that I should probably stop. Except I don't think my morther would agree.
Same as above, Broadway Freak.
... but I was more nervous the third time than I was the first time. I don't think that's very smart.
We shall trust then you shall not need to take it a fourth time!
Now I must kapwing for Sociology. I leave a question behind for the general consideration: would you rather be a barnacle or a leech?
Having seen both, and not having any choice other than the two, I would think barnacle.
Pebbles told me this was a wonderful place and I see she was right.
Except when the coffee gets burned over in The Cup & Platter and the smell drifts over here. Nice to have you here, SPELC!

“Safe?” said Mr. Beaver; “don’t you hear what Mrs. Beaver tells you? Who said anything about safe? ‘Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good. He’s the King, I tell you.”
Good mortereve, all! How is everyone this fantastic Monday evening?! I'm doing great! Especially now since it's only ONE day...less than 24 hours till TAN is here ! I am so excited now! I have already pre-ordered the tickets. And so, all there is to do now is...wait . I also received an e-mail today with a link of these incredible singers! They are called Il Divo. They seriously have angelic voices. Here is the link to the video (this video is not a YouTube video in case anyone was wondering). I've probably watched the video ten times today, at least. Alrighty, it's time do some CATCHUP!
Perhaps a bit belated, but...HAPPY BIRTHDAY FLAM! Hope it was a great one!
Yeah. LOL, the youngest are so lucky...
You've got that right!
D-T-R, I'm glad to hear that your first day of work went well!
MissAravis and Ruby I think you are double-handedly making TAN into a household word! And Edmund P will be joining you soon!
Haha, yep!
Btw, Ed, Jojo is having trouble accessing the new forum. We're hoping it's going to change for her one of these days ... soon!
Oh, no, that's awful! Is it that she's having trouble with her account? Or just accessing the Forum in general?
Yesterday I slept until 11 am. I felt really bad about it, because I wasn't even up for more than 12 hours until I went to bed again
Lol, MissA! I actually was up for about 18 hours that day (Friday), so I was a bit tired.
I just love watching you count down! it makes me so happy! =P
Haha! I don't like counting down because I'm counting down which means that I still have to wait... ( ) Oh, by the way, could I possibly join the Tenth Avenue North Club?
Wow, a ton of people that I know all have colds. That stinks that yours has lasted for 2 weeks! I'm feeling much better today than I was yesterday, but my nose is still really stuffy and I have this nasty drainage in my throat...
Well, it's just that time of year when people get colds. The change of the seasons. I think I am finally getting over my cold though.
*Waves to ForeverFan* Hi, FF! How are you?!
*is so excited for Edmund P* Waiting for the concert is the worst part.
I know! Haha, yeah I'm so excited for myself! Lol, that's hilarious about the fortune cookies, Dani!
It starts out...How long must I pray..must I pray to you?
Ah, yes, that is TAN. That song is called Hold My Heart.
*shakes it* It's nice to meet you!
Well, it's very nice to meet you too! How have you been lately?
*waves back to EP* I've been doing quite well, thank you. Yourself? (My biggest gripe with the latest Indiana Jones movie is that it was I rolled my eyes at the aliens, but I don't watch too many movies anyway so it wasn't like I'd already seen several variations on the same theme before, and the rest of it was nicely done.)
Good, I'm glad you're doing well ! I've been doing pretty good. It's been getting busy though! October/November especially. Other than that, I've nothing to complain about . I don't know, it just wasn't as good as the originals.
EP, one thing I don't like about braces is that you can't have bubblegum. I always missed having gum when I had braces.
Yes, that is a bummer. Though, you actually can chew sugarless gum! I hardly chew the regular bubblegum anyway.
Jane Eyre sounds cool, EP. I ought to read it sometime. Well, I've been rereading The Bones of Makaidos from the Oracles of Fire series by Bryan Davis lately. They're really good.
Yes, should read it sometime ! H'm, I've never even heard of that series. Though, there probably are a ton of series I've never heard of . I'm glad you're enjoying them! How's school been going for you?
congradulate me. I am actually going to have a life today. I'm going to sunday school, coming home, excersising then going to be with faimly until around 6. I am so excited and happy for myself!
Ahaha! Congrats, eusy! That's sounds like a good day!
*Waves to CSLN*
I had a really great birthday! We went on a trail ride in the afternoon, went out for dinner after that (pizza!), then came home and had cake and opened presents! It was a wonderful day!
It sounds liek you had a great birthday, Flam! Mmh, do mind sharing a bit 'o cake?
Aww, sorry to hear that you are/were sick! I hope you're feeling better! Stinkers, I can't check youtube right now, did you get the new video up?
Me? Well, not a whole lot. I've been doing a lot of reading lately, but other than that, not much.
I'm kinda sick, kinda not right now . No, I didn't have any time last week to get it up, I'm thinking that I'm not going to have much time to keep up with either my video blog or my blog this year . I've been reading a lot lately too! What are you reading (if you don't mind my asking)?
Ed P, that's quite a late wake up time. Glad you got caught up on your sleep.
Yes, indeed it is a late time to wake up :O ! Yes, But now I'm slightly behind on my sleep again. I slept late on Saturday, which mean I can't go to sleep early on Saturday night, which mean I didn't have enough sleep on Sunday, which means that I nearly fell asleep in church, and then I fall asleep early (or fairly early) on Sunday night, which means that I am now kinda caught up again.
*Waves to JealousoftheMoon*
@ Edmund.P. Yep, Indiana Jones 4 was a truly horrible movie. It made Temple of Doom look good. Glad to hear you disliked it. Last Crusade is my all time favorite Indiana Jones film.
What, you didn't like Temple of Doom? That's one of my favorites . Haha, "Glad to hear you disliked it" !
Well guys, It did most of this post yesterday. So actually, it is now only...2 HOURS UNTIL I SEE TAN IN CONCERT!!
I'll give a full report tomorrow. Mortereve,all!
I met Georgie and Skandar AND saw the film in one evening.
Hello all! *Waves*
Ok, I started this post Monday but the internet died and we didn't get it fixed until today. Sorry if I missed anyone...
Hey, Winter!!! How is everything going??
Ok, I guess...
Winter, I am so sorry if that I came across the wrong way about the 'mortereve' thing! It was just that because you said you weren't sure about where the middle came from that I thought you might have been muddled up. I didn't mean it to be condescending or insulting. It's a gibberish word anyways, so it's not really a big deal.
Aw, you don't need to apologize. If anything, I need to apologize for snapping at you. I was a bit muddled up. More than a bit, but people kept pointing out, which was getting kinda annoying.
JealousOfTheMoon, so Ruby finally convinced you to post, eh?
Winter: It surely is!
Yup!
I just read your correction as Mort Revere. Ditto Town's version of Paul Revere perhaps? "The Dittos are coming! The Dittos are coming! One if by land, Original by sea..." Or vice versa?
LOL. Mel, you're a genius! That's too funny!
*salutes* Yes ma'am!
Wait, does this mean that I have to ask for your permission before dying? That could be complicated.
No, not really. I just don't want you to die anytime soon, 'cause we'd all miss you. And be very:
Of course you get a hug! Thank you for that one! Here's another one!
Aw, thanks! Do, I sense a wave of flip-flop hugs coming on?
Yikes, you're getting rather violent with yourself, aren't you?
*Gets up holding head* Thanks for pointing that out, I hadn't noticed. *Note to self: Don't bang head against tree-it hurts*
Ahh, I see. Well then, I'm glad you're making backups!
So am I. Guess what? I attempted to upload the new firefox today. Good news: My computer didn't implode. Bad news: It didn't do much else, either.
Ahaha, I see.
And, I'm one "those" people?
I don't know. That's why I asked you.
Hi WinterStar! You certainly did not butcher the explanation; it made perfect sense! I actually like "mortevere" as well--it sounds quite courtly and King Arthur-ish.
Really? Cool! Yeah, I said that way on purpose 'cause I like King Arthur-ish sounding words! I like that excuse...I'm going to use it from now on.
Awesome! *thinks about doing a flip-flop and a half, but refrains*
You know what we need? A flip-flop wave emotion. That would be neat, wouldn't it?
Thanks! The quote is from Hold My Heart by Tenth Avenue North. It's a beautiful song!
Ah...That would explain why I'd heard it. Ruby's probably sung it before. Or listened to it while I was around...
Winter, I was whistling because you were talking about immature 16 and 17 year olds, and I'm 17.
Oh. We were talking about specific ones Fanny knows. She was saying I was more mature then them, and I was saying they must be pretty immature 'cause I'm not very mature. So, we weren't saying: "All 16-17 year olds are immature" or anything.
WinterStar, hello! I don't believe I've ever spoken to you before. Do forgive me.. Anyhoo, how art thou?
Hello, PELS! You're quite right we've not spoken before. I'm well. You?
Wow, that doesn't sound fun!
Yeah, it wasn't. But I survived.
No, I didn't mean that, I meant that I liked all of the options that you have. I miss the evil plotting smiley.
Oh, right. I know, that face scared people! The new one just looks like you're "off your rocker", so to speak.
Bella! You're BACK! Where have you been? Don't answer that- you already did. But, how are you? Very neat about the Spanish...I have no idea what it says, though. I'm doing French.
Quite well, thank you kindly! And you?
Nothing much is going on except for the fact that tomorrow evening I am going to "play practice" for a drama I'm in.
I'm doing quite well, too. Oh, what drama is it? (Or is it a completely new original drama?)
You've got that right!
I know. Somewhat unfortunately.
See y'all!

*waves to Queen Susan* How are things with you?
Narnia Girl: We ought to start a Look-Like-But-Are-Not-Really-Twins club. My sister is almost as tall as me now. *sniff* I'm over it. I haven't grown in a year or two, I suppose I'm past that age. Oh well.
Do have fun reading the dictionary!
Aiden: *whistles innocently* Well, let's just say it hasn't moved an inch since last time. We've talked about continuing, but we haven't found time or gotten around to it. Someday...
Edmund P.: *waves* All is pretty well here, and you? I hope you enjoy the TAN concert- I'm sure you will, of course! And don't forget to tell us all about how it went!
WinterStar wrote:

Oh dear no! We were not saying that at all! (Although, we do have our immature moments, of course, but, eh, yes.)
Well. This has been a rather short post. Nothing too much happened today, although we washed windows for a friend, came home and baby sat half an hour later. So we're kind of tired and stuff. But okay.
And I should be off. Cheers all!

Mortereve, all!
Biology isn’t being fun lately. That must be because it’s birds, and well, you all know how I feel about most birds.
Well, catchup:
*waves to Flam and Queen S*
Flam, I saw that earlier it was your birthday, and I wasn’t here for that, so: Happy Belated Birthday!
*waves to KK*
So how are ya'll doing this fine mortereve?
I’m doing pretty well. Trying to survive the second hard week of school, and Algebra. How have you been doing lately?
Ben, it’s good to have you back! Sorry that you had trouble with your account, though. How are ya?
Nice Spanish, Bella...even if you used a translator.
Well, it wasn’t quite good, since I sort of cheated. But I suppose I tricked some rather well, asides from the whistling emoticon that sort of gave me away.
JealousOfTheMoon, I don’t know if we’ve met. I remember seeing you on The Lion’s Call (I assume you’re the same person on there. ) But, anyhow, you can call me AitB or Bella (not from Twilight). Heh, from a reliable source (MonkeySaru) I hear you’re hilarious and have amazing fanfic.
*waves to SPELC* Ah, it’s wonderful to see you again! And yes, the Town Square is indeed a great place to be.
Hiya, Broadway! Haven’t seen you in a while, ‘tis great to see you. Hehe, yeah, I noticed the Broadway_Geek and wondered if that was some relative of yours or something, but I understand it’s an alter ego.
I can relate on what you mean about homeschooling. I can’t do either, as well, but not having to dissect anything in biology is the best.
I'm guessing you used a translator to write that, otherwise you're sure learning Spanish quickly. One tip: The sentence "Conozco a algunas palabras..." is incorrect. "Conozco" comes from the verb "conocer" which means "to know a person or place". And the "a" that you inserted only applies when the direct object is a person. The sentence should have read "Sé algunas palabras..."
Anyway... Me gusta que usted está aprendiendo a hablar español. Espero que le gusta a usted.
And you guessed right. Ah, thanks for that tip for the grammar! I don’t understand half of it now, but I’m sure I’ll appreciate it later.
Okay, that translated at “I like that you are learning to speak Spanish. I expect that likes you” I’m sure you meant something different for the last sentence.
Gracias. El español es aparentemente fácil, y espero aprender a hablar lo suficientemente rápido.
Once again, a translator was used for that, so if anything’s off about the grammer or wording, ‘tisn’t my fault.
Aha, you did use a translator. Surprisingly, I was able to understand most everything of what you said. Like I mentioned above, though, there were some grammatical errors. But I won't hold those against you since it was the translator's fault.
((“El” is the right them to use for masculine , as “La” is for feminine, right? If so, then I’ve learnt something & remembered it. ))
Aye, a translator I did use.
Wow, you understood it? I’m guessing you’re really fluent in Spanish, then. Can you speak it and hold a conversation?
Okay, good, nothing seriously bad like I was thinking. It’s good to know that I won’t be blamed for grammatical errors, but when I start learning it enough to quit using a translator, I will be guilty of any other errors.
*waves to Mel* I didn’t get to tell you this, because of losing my catchup post yesterday, but a huge congarats on the news of your artwork! How exciting!
And the same goes for your sister. Yes, it is a reasonable threat, but I would not want you to think the mods mean, terrible tyrants either.
Hah! Think the mods mean, terrible tyrants? I couldn’t think of that! I would think the mods quite thoughtful to do that, so we wouldn’t miss on our education!
*waves to Ed P*
Bella! You're BACK! Where have you been? Don't answer that- you already did. But, how are you? Very neat about the Spanish...I have no idea what it says, though. I'm doing French.
Winty! Well, that wasn’t the whole explanation of my absence, I had been keeping away from the Square because the vast amount of catchup before me had me scared, so.
Thanks! Ah, I have no idea what I fully said either – I used a translator. Otherwise, I don’t know much of it really.
That’s awesome that you’re doing French! I had wanted to do French, but we decided we all should learn Spanish now, so I think we’ll be learning French after we’re better at Spanish. What program are you using to learn French? We’re using Rosetta stone for Spanish, which is pretty good, and helpful.
What’ve you been up to lately?
*waves to Fanny* Hiya!
Nothing too much happened today, although we washed windows for a friend, came home and baby sat half an hour later. So we're kind of tired and stuff. But okay.
Sounds like you must be tired! Heh, washing windows is one of the chores I enjoy best, oddly. Baby sitting can be fun, too!
Well, I’ll be around. Mortereve!

Hi everyone! Catching up..
WOW! That is so awesome about you and TAN! I'm so excited for you! Maybe someday you'll get to tour with them!
PEBBLES! I feel like I haven't seen you in a while. Lol, thank you! I don't think that would happen, but it would be awesome.
Lol, Djaq, I love how you and Flambeau talk back and forth on here. It's quite amusing to read
Glad you got everything figured out! Uh...yeah--erm--I took the liberty of giving JMoon the brief details on how to be a TAN fan. (ok, that sounded funny).
Hehe, that does sound funny. TAN fan sounds funny too, since it rhymes. But yeah, no prob!
Yup, that's my favorite line in the song! I think it's probably the best song that Sean (Watkins) has written yet (followed closely by Run Away Girl and Somebody More Like You)! I love the style of it!
Yeah, I've listened to Run Away Girl too! Djaq sent me that one and This Side and told me that This Side was your favorite, but if I couldn't do that one I could do the other one. (that sounds confusing)
How lovely! I was in the same sentence as Kat!
I'm not that special!
That's too bad though, that he was sick, and had to step away sometimes.
Lol, the funny thing is one of my friends went to another one of their concerts in Omaha only a few days after the one I went to (she DROVE there with her aunt! And she lives near me! she's crazy!) But anyway, she said Mike was all better, but now Jeff is sick!
EDMUND P!!!!!! Give all details about the concert! Now!
(Btw- did you ask them about Scott? If you got to meet them, which I'm guessing you did. )
I actually was up for about 18 hours that day (Friday), so I was a bit tired.
Oh, wow! That means you must have stayed up really really late... haha.
Haha! I don't like counting down because I'm counting down which means that I still have to wait... Oh, by the way, could I possibly join the Tenth Avenue North Club?
Lol, fair enough.
Oh and of course! The narniawebber in charge of the club is winterlife so send her a PM and she'll give you the info.
Well, it's just that time of year when people get colds. The change of the seasons. I think I am finally getting over my cold though.
That's good to hear!! My mom has it really bad now... I feel like I gave it to her *tries not to look guilty*
Ah...That would explain why I'd heard it. Ruby's probably sung it before. Or listened to it while I was around...
That would make a lot of sense I'm always singing TAN songs around my friends and eventually that got them to listen to TAN for themselves (so they could hear it not in a badly-sung rendition )
*listens to Air 1 - my new favorite radio station. *
*is really excited because EP is probably listening to TAN live right now. *
Good Mortereve guys!!!
Hey guys! I'm procrastinating again. Sorta. I'm actually listening to a sermon from a potential pastor. Of course, I'm supposed to be reading and writing discussion responses for school.
@ WinterStar - You asked if I watched regluarly before DW went to a 4 a.m. showing. Then answer is yes. But I'm still not getting up at 4 in the morning to watch a tv show.
Hey Ben! It's nice to see you again. I was one of the people who recommended Ranger's Apprentice. Did you like it?
Oh I loved it! It was great Can't wait till the next book comes out in 2010!
My Dad also liked them too!
I think all of us liked the one better when we first switched over, but it's been growing on all of us, on some more slowly than on other, but I for one have completely gotten used to it!
Oh well It will probably grow on me too I like the whole color dear better though and all the other short cuts to the HTML codes
Ben, it’s good to have you back! Sorry that you had trouble with your account, though. How are ya?

I'm actually listening to a sermon from a potential pastor.
I missed out on some of the visits the search committee paid to pastors delivering sermons. We were to arrive unannounced so we would catch a sermon that was not prepared to impress anyone specifically.
The day winds down here.*is tired*
“Safe?” said Mr. Beaver; “don’t you hear what Mrs. Beaver tells you? Who said anything about safe? ‘Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good. He’s the King, I tell you.”
