They may come in handy some day.
They might, they might. So be forewarned... someday, "~LL~, send in the Ringwraiths!"
I was actually thinking the Y might stand for Yardley... I have two Yardley perfume advertisements hanging on my wall for decoration. I suspect the dreams were odd because... dreams usually are.
Kk, is it an automatic transmission? *has heard these are difficult to repair* And if you get it running again, you get your own vehicle? Cool! I'm sure you'll do a much better repair job than I would.
I've wanted to learn mandola ever since I first heard [Somebody More Like You]. It's bitter like coffee. And I like coffee.
This is a Nickle Creek song, yes? Mandolas and coffee make me think of the Ranger's Apprentice series. *is finally goaded into making another effort to get a Nickle Creek CD from the library*
I was just taking off the strap...and I dropped it. So I'll have to get a new guitar soon.
And I thought I had it bad when I was tightening my violin bow and it snapped... or when I was tuning the violin, and the bridge went flying across the room... I hope your new guitar is nice.
. That's great!
I'm glad everyone seems to be enjoying that bit of silliness. Now that I read it over again, I am beset with doubts. Should it have been "Original by land, two if by sea..."?
*waves to beauflam* How does it feel to be a year older?
I don't think that you could see my face clearly in any of them.
Noo... but one starts to get the general idea.
I'm not sure what's best for strained muscles. Heat sounds good?
I'd be happy to sign your book if you send me one to sign. Would you like it in a normal script, or would you like it in elvish lettering?
After all, weren't you the one who wrote the book The Four Most Humblest People in The World and How I Met The Other Three???
. That sounds like a fun read!
EDIT: Post 2882! What an nice number.
We have hands that fashion and heads that know,
But our hearts we lost - how long ago! -- G. K. Chesterton
Hello everyone! Today was a pretty good day for the second week of school. I had fun playing tennis with my mom yesterday, and we had a lovely walk together. I will definitely cherish these lasting warm days before we get the brutal cold.
Any how, time to catchup:
Those sound cute! Will you maybe be able to share pictures?
Why thankyou! Actually, I happen to have pictures from the instruction models: http://www.flickr.com/photos/geekcentra ... 780705979/ It's the person's flickr, so you kind of have to flip through all the pictures and read the labels of the characters.
But, definitely, I'll posts some pictures, when I'm done.
How are you?
Ella: Your box sounds special! I love things that hold memories (well, as long as the memories are good ones, I suppose) and special things from childhood.
Lol, thankyou. Oh yes, I love things of that sort too. Lol! I have this particular box for little things that I have that are likely to get lost, but theyre so nice that I don't want them to get lost. One day, Aitb opened it and found this mirror and a few other "earthly treasures". She went into a whole play lecture on how that box is the wants of people. It was so funny!
Oh good! I'm glad you're enjoying Great Expectations. Do you have any favourite characters so far?
Hmm, I have to say that I really like Joe. He seems to be so friendly and in wonderful terms with Pip. And of course Pip is another favourite. But, unfortunately, I can't renew it at the library because someone else has it on hold. Nevertheless, I'll search for one ASAP.
@ CSLN. Aye, it was. I did the same thing today as well... Oh yes, VERY true. *sigh* Though we have to do them.... I'm always too zeroed-in on my work to have music playing. Besides, I prefer to just sit and listen to music without a lot of other stuff going on around me.
Lol! Ah I see. Well, good luck then when you have a lot of chores. Well, yes, I always enjoy hearing music if I'm drawing or doing something quiet. So calming What type of music do you prefer hearing?
Well, I'm finishing my workbook on geometry which is going rather well. I'll probably start Algebra II in the next few weeks.
Thats wonderful about geometry. I think its starting to get a little challenging for me..
Ah, ok. I hope you have fun with it when you start.
I'm actually taking a free college level English lit course online this year. I'll be starting it tomorrow, so I'm excited about that.
Wow! Lol, I can imagine. What do want to major in?
Hehe, I guess it is fun to be a high-schooler... Oh good, I didn't think so, but still...
Yes it most definitley is I'm having fun play teasing my friends that are freshmans now
Lol, "but still". Well it did say in the Bible about gray hair meaning you're wise (something like that at least.)
You're welcome, CS! And thank you.
Oh, piano classes! That's great, CS. How long have you been playing the piano?
Hee, you're welcome
Ah, thankyou. I've been playing since I was 3 years old . Its been great playing for these years now.
Do not be apologize! You have school work. If a few us mods get any hint that you are neglecting school for hanging out in Ditto Town, we may ban you temporarily. *is not entirely serious about such a threat*
Lol! My mom found that amusing Well, it is a reasonable "threat", you could say.
Heyllo to you, too. How goes all?
Don't raise your eyebrow at that harmless and intellignet mash-up of a word "All" goes well. You?
My sister and I used to do the same thing. You can work so much harder when you're singing at the top of your lungs!
LOL! I can just imagine two girls singing super loudly. ANd it worked, right?
Well, I shall be around.
* walks out of the square singing a tobyMac song and (maybe) dancing to it. *

Every time I think of a quote or witty comment to put here, the quote is not so spectacular and the comment is not so witty.
Mortereve all!
Today has been most interesting- it was my sister's 15th birthday today, and I now know of two people (of the many, ignorant-through-no-fault-of-their-own) who firmly believed that my sister was older then me! I mean, we get asked if we're twins alot (and one time, to be silly, I replied "yes" to that question), but she, older then me? Maybe it's because she looks older then me, or works, saves and spends her money on big things- horses, saddles, & what not, and I just spend my money on less noticeable things (books and movies), but still.... The amusing part was, a friend (one of these people), who is also into horses and does the same program we do, dropped by today as she was in town. (That part is not amusing, actually, although it was nice). The amusing thing was that she called me Katherine once or twice, and I have no idea where that came from. I mean, my name starts with K, but it sounds nothing like Katherine. So, I kind of just replied like she had said the right name and moved on. Anyways. It was funny.
Narnia Girl: Ah, good! How are things for you?
Welcome to the Square, SPELC! Do join us often!
Ruby:
That particular one wasn't nearly as life scarring as "The Rumor Weed". Now that gave me nightmares
You too? Honestly- I had nightmares for weeks about rumour weeds popping up out of nowhere- especially after dark. To this day I haven't seen it again, although it's been 8/9 years since.
Aiden: No problem!
pogginfan: Here here!
Malkah: Yes, Fanny is different from most book heroines- especially the more warrior princess type ones. (I'm not sure what your opinion on those type of female characters is, so I won't say anymore. ) Hmm. I think my favourite Austen would be Persuasion or Sense & Sensibility. But all of them are enjoyable, even Emma. (My somewhat least favourite, but it's growing on me).
Dennie: I'm glad to hear your second day of work went well! That's great! The two day work schedule sounds nice- lots of free time/school time like you said, and not exactly swamping you with work either.
I'm not an R rated movie kind of person either, and that includes The Passion of Christ as well. (I have, some, opinions on that movie. I won't share them here though, but, if you're really interested we can talk it over via PM, but only if you really want too. ) This past Easter some acquaintances and I had an...interesting conversation over that movie. Anyways. All that to say, I was kind of encouraged when I read your bit on not having seen the two R rated movies you mentioned.
*waves to Pebbles* I like your new avatar! How are you?
Djaq: I'm glad your first day of work went well! What are the ages of the kids you're working with?
Ella: Those LotR characters/examples are C-U-T-E! Are you making all of them, or just some of them?
Aww, hehe! Your sister sounds like she has a sense of humour, eh?
Oh dear! That's no fun! Maybe if you can't get a copy elsewhere, you could try reading it online? Sites like Project Gutenburg would probably have the text... Joes was a loyal and faithful person, wasn't he?
Annnd now I should be off. Bed time approaches. Cheers all!
Dear days of old, with the faces in the firelight,
Kind folks of old, you come again no more.
(Robert Louis Stevenson)
Mortereve, all!
I apologize for my absence. School has taken a lot of my time lately. I started real Algebra today. (Last week it was all cake—explaining variables, etc.) But today… *sighs deeply*
For one elective, we are taking Spanish!
No puedo decir que estoy haciendo extremadamente bien. Conozco a algunas palabras en español, pero a nos tengo todavía conseguir al aprendizaje hablarlo. Será obras en fase de creación.
Anyhow, a big thing I’m looking forward to is the David Crowder * Band concert. I’m really excited to go for it, and I’m trying to figure what I should ask them to sign. Perhaps my Bible, and a poster (if we buy one.) Also, David Crowder has a sort of dislike for squirrels, so C.S. is going to draw the whole band as squirrels (all with their special traits—David with the special ‘Crowder beard. ) and ask them all to sign it. If they laugh, I suppose it’ll be an epic win.
Right now, I’m very exhausted so catching up from page 9 seems not humanely possible for myself, so catchup from then isn’t going to happen…I’m sorry.
I spent 2 or so hours typing up a catchup post, catching up from a recent page, but then my computer decided to blank out and ruin up the screen, so some of it was recovered, but not enough for me to re-do the rest… so, I shan’t be catching up for that, either. Which, I also apologize for. (Ugh, I need a new laptop, but our budget currently doesn’t agree with that, so. ) I think I’m going to save up for one.
Well, a big hello to you dearest Square Onions!
EDIT: Hm, I posted this, but it says I didn't, so I'll repost it.
EDIT: If my Spanish consisted of anything bad...I'm so sorry, but I'm completely innocent of it...the translator must've been the problem. IF there was anything bad. (Yeah, yeah, I used a translator. Y'all must have thought I was crazy good at Spanish, or something. ;] )

Ello everyone!! How's it going? I see that Djaq has filled y'all in on our activities this morning, and I don't really feel the need to elaborate, so I shall continue with my ketchup.
*sigh* Life happened.
How inconvenient.
Aww! That's cute.
Yup! We have a habit of giving each other strange nick-names (they don't always stick though).
Hey KK! How ya doing?
flambeau, happy belated birthday! It sounds like you had a fantastic day!
Thank you! I did have a very good day!
How did your piano lessons go today?
Hello SPELC! Welcome to the Square! I'm flambeau!
Ah, you know Pebbles?! How neat!
Hello Cep! Thank you for the birthday wishes!
I wouldn't mind rainy weather half so much if I didn't have these allergies. *sighs*
Ooh, you have allergies too? They are no fun!
Yes, they do! We've been fans of them for a long time...
Awesome! I just discovered them recently, but I'm really enjoying them!
Tsk, tsk, 'tis that.
Yeah.
We're sounding like we're old! Lol!
Saving Private Ryan.
Oh, yes. Oh, good!
Ok, I couldn't remember if it was that one or The Patriot.
(sort of on the topic of soundtracks) My family watched Remember the Titans the other night... I'd forgotten how pretty some of the music is (the instrumental stuff, not necessarily the oldies. )! I just wish I could find it to buy!
Aha, so no matter what I say, it won't matter. You'll just go ahead and write whatever you want no matter how grammatically incorrect it is, huh? Well, fine! Be that way!
Nope, it won't.
Yes, I will (and enjoy every minute of it). And there's nothing you can do about it!!! Muwahaha!
I've wanted to learn mandola ever since I first heard that song. It's bitter like coffee. And I like coffee.
Lol, sounds like my brother! He's is dying to learn the mandolin right now (he's trying to talk Djaq and myself into helping pay for one )!
It's a great song! I love the way he (Sean) sings it!
Oh, I wish I could have been here for Flam's birthday! Anyways, happy belated birthday, Flam. Terribly sorry I missed it. I keep missing everyones birthdays!
Thank you!
Aww, don't worry about it! I keep missing people's birthdays as well!
Hello malkah!
Gettysburg is excellent. I love how the movie doesn't feel like a reenactment at all; rather that someone was simply there with a video camera in 1863 recording everything. Of course, he must have had some amazing time-travel capabilities, as well as a camera.
Agreed! It's a very good movie!
You're right, it doesn't really feel like a reenactment!
Lol, true!
Which did you like better, Gods and Generals or Gettysburg?
I'd have to say Gods and Generals. They're both really good, but I just like more of the characters in that one (plus, I just can't really get past the guy playing Robert E. Lee in Gettysburg... He does not look like General Lee!! I like Robert Duvall better as him.)
Flam! I'm so glad I was able to make your day special! Lol, that line about climbing up the slide then sliding down the stairs is so clever, I laughed when I heard it the first time.
Yup, that's my favorite line in the song! I think it's probably the best song that Sean (Watkins) has written yet (followed closely by Run Away Girl and Somebody More Like You)! I love the style of it!
I feel so honored.
You should! Not many people can say that!
Sounds fun!
It was! You should try it sometime!
Wow, awesome! You told me about your brother giving you the books, but you didn't tell me about Djaq giving you the movies! You have a pretty nice family, you know?
I guess I forgot to mention that, didn't I? Sorry! Yeah, I was excited!
Yeah, I do (and yes, I know!)!! They're the best!
So, have you read anything else around the Civil War time period that you like?
*wracks her brain trying to remember* I'm not sure. I know I've read some, but I can't remember what they were, or if I liked them.
I was just starting to think of some really good books to suggest to you last night, when you had to leave- Not necessarily about the Civil War, but just good books in general. So if you ever need suggestions . . .
Yeah, sorry about that! My dad needed some help with something, and so I had to go.
Hmmm... I may just take you up on that!
*waves back to Flam, but feels kind of weird waving after about a week of absence from the Square*
*waves back happily* Don't worry about it, I've taken longer than a week before!
*sigh* Isn't it time that you just gave in and excepted the fact that I'm perfect? (kidding...)
I know you did, and you just did again.
NO!!! I will never give in!!!
(kidding as well....)
Well, you can never be too careful! Better to apologize too many times than not apologize at all!
Probably because you aren't.
Well, that's not nice of you! You should always take me seriously!
I don't remember all that you said, but I do know that you said something about acting.
I don't recall saying anything about acting, so I guess that makes us even?
You are calling me a opossum because I laid down on the ground and pretended to be dead...I do not call you a worm because you started digging into the ground and acting like a worm.
*has the funniest visual right now*
Perhaps I didn't say that quite right... I meant it as in, I'm calling you 'The Opossum' because I can (the same thing about you calling me Worms). Make more sense now?
Lol, yes, I suppose that would look weird! (although, you make a funny looking opossum as well!)
Says me about what?
About me quoting Mater.
"Only the curious have something to find..."
Good one! "... and the truth is a bitter friend."
("Worms" mostly)
Or 'Wormie".
She will.
Yes, I will!
*waves to beauflam* How does it feel to be a year older?
*waves back* Whew, your name is hard to spell backwards!
Oddly enough, about the same as last year.
Ok, that's all I have time to do tonight. I'll finish tomorrow!

How lovely! I was in the same sentence as Kat!
*waves cheerily back to Jo*
It still seems unreal, but... that's me. That's my art.
Wow! Very nice!!
*waves to malkah* Why hello! Very nice of you to drop by!
How have you been?
Quite well, thank you kindly! And you?
Nothing much is going on except for the fact that tomorrow evening I am going to "play practice" for a drama I'm in.
How are you doing?
*look at above sentence or two of mine.*
Yep, Mike was the only one with a cold... and so sometimes he would back away from the mic to cough... I felt really bad for him. But seriously, you couldn't tell he had one at ALL. He was so energetic, and his voice sounded amazing. Haha, he said that with his cold he could sing lower than usual
;)) Hehe, that's funny. I think most men/boys like singing lower. 😉 At least, my brothers do. That's too bad though, that he was sick, and had to step away sometimes. Yeah, I saw the video on youtube that you commented on of him imitating batman. And he was energetic!
Propitiation. He talked about that word too at the concert here. He said something like, "it's when you're about to get spanked, but Jesus put his butt in the way."
Well, he certainly has a sense of humor!! *laugh* I don't know if I'd think of it that way.
Not if I can help it. Have you started school yet?
;)) Yes, we started about a week ago. It's going swell, this is my last year of "math" I think... It's the toughest subject. But I'll live. How about you? School going well?
D--------T--------R!!!!!!!!!!!!! Um...
Hi! Expect a PM from me in the next month. About random stuff. I say month because I have no clue when I'll get around to it.
I'm glad your work went well!! Yay!
*waves to LL* Hey! How's it going? Yeah, I'm too lazy to upload the old emoticons. And I don't know how.
And sorry for going on about it for four paragraphs.
No problem! It's enjoyable to read.
I slept until 12:11pm today!
BLESSED! We aren't really allowed to sleep in. Dad thinks we should get an early start on the day. So. 600 AM is what it is.
Aw, sorry I missed your birthday, flam! But a belated one anyways!!
Some people are born Narniawebbish and some have Narniawebishness thrust upon them.
I think I slowly inherited it.
I do like striped socks though.
As I have seen. (In pics, not real life.)
Welcome, JotM! (Jealous of the Moon.) Can I call you "Jot"? 😉
Concerning 09/09/09: I said to my brother: "Oh yeah, and someone posted on facebook "Today is 09/09/09. It's the 252 day of the year. (2+5+2=9), it's September, which has 9 letters, and it's Wed. which has 9 letters."
My brother said something about it being silly. "Who said it anyway?"
And I was like... "Um, your friend."
*waves to Destined. Again.*
BETSIIIIIIIIIIE!! OH BETSIIIIIIIIE! Where is that girl? I do miss her though.
Yay! Finished!!!! *hopefully heads over to the Books thread. Which she hasn't been to for a few months probably.*

Good mortereve everyone. I hope that ya'll are doing well this evening.
At the moment we are watching Wallace and Gromit: The Case of the Were Rabbit. It's not bad. Has some pretty funny moments.
I don't remember what all I was going to comment on...
Yes, Narnia Girl, it is fun to be homeschooled. I will definitely miss it when I graduate.
Poggin fan, I can truthfully say that I can't honestly say I like shooting a firearm more than a bow. I love both. They both offer great satisfaction. Learning to shoot a firearm is much easier than learning to accurately shoot a bow, but I love the process of shooting a bow and attempting to shoot better, and accurately. There's just great satisfaction in that. On the other hand, shooting a firearm provides great enjoyment, and can be done more often..not often, but at a greater rate than shooting a bow. Also, if you lose an arrow, you have to pay a good bit to replace it. You still have to pay for bullits, but the whole point of shooting them is to lose them, in a manner of speaking.
We started up Men's Bible study again tonight. It went well. Had only seven, but I think that there wll be more as the weeks go on.
Cep, I understand that, but I was more nervous the third time than I was the first time. I don't think that's very smart.
So how are ya'll doing this fine mortereve?
They did drugs and they're all dead.

SPELC, welcome to the Town Square! I'm Narnia Girl, you can call me Lucy or NG.
Thanks, Ruby! Well, it's a very pretty avatar, I like it a lot.
That's great that your braces are coming off in a couple weeks, NN95!
Oh, I try all right, NN95. But my eyebrows just like to go up together. I think it's hopeless.
Lol, it does take forever, poggy. Btw, hope you get your new guitar soon. Don't feel bad about dropping it, I break stuff all the time.
The Oreo cookie cake was made of crumbs, malkah. Now that I think about it, it was probably more of a pie than a cake. Anyway, whatever you want to call it, it was really good.
Hi D-T-R! My day is going very well so far, what about you? Thank you! Wunderkind_Lucy made my avatar. May I ask who the person in your avatar is?
So do I, Pebbles, but I must admit that I miss the old smilies a bit.
Lol, Djaq I should wear hair elastics on my wrist. I'm sure it comes in handy.
Djaq, may I ask what your avatar is from?
Since you were three? Wow, CS! That's super cool. I've only been playing since I was seven.
Pretty good, FF! Sounds like your sister had a nice birthday. When my sister and I were younger, people used to think we were twins, because we're only a year and a half apart. But now that we're older we look a bit more different - like, I'm several inches taller than her.
Nice Spanish, Bella...even if you used a translator.
My piano lesson went great, thanks, flambeau! I'm working on playing some Gaither Vocal Band songs, as well the song "Where" from the LWW soundtrack.
Oh Kk I love Wallace and Gromit! The Curse of the Were Rabbit is so funny.
Hi Benjamin! It's great to see you in the Town Square again!
Today we're mostly going to be at home, I guess, doing schoolwork. How is everyone else on this lovely mortereve?

Welcome, JotM! ... Can I call you "Jot"? 😉
Soitainly! *spreads hands magnanimously and adopts pompous tone* My child, you may call me anything you like - even Jot - although I draw the line at Jelly.
In all seriousness, I do like to write, so I don't mind being associated with 'jot'...
*rubs eyes blearily* Speaking of writing, I started a blogpost last night with the strictest intentions of logging off by ten, whether it was finished or not. Well, one thing led to another and I was swept along 'till, finally satisfied enough to post it, I glanced at the clock and saw that it was ten past twelve. So much for good intentions... I blame Tenth Avenue North, because at the almost-finished stage (perhaps around ten-thirty) I realized I could tie it to Love Is Here and (that being too good to pass up) had to rework the whole silly thing.
Now I must kapwing for Sociology. I leave a question behind for the general consideration: would you rather be a barnacle or a leech?
"...but Eustace had read only the wrong books. They had a lot to say about exports and imports and governments and drains, but they were weak on dragons."
Hey, just had to sneak in here and say hi to JealousoftheMoon. I didn't know you had a Nweb acct! I'm A.E. Hall from the FFPG
*sneaks back out*
It's empty in the valley of your heart. The sun, it rises slowly as you walk. Away from all the fears. And all the faults you've left behind.
So long...for now.
*Yawns and stretches.* Very thankful for another beautiful day with my favorite people.
Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome into Town Square. Pebbles told me this was a wonderful place and I see she was right.
CS- Sounds like a great afternoon with your mom. I love long walks and talks with my family.
Kk- I also love homeschooling and I will miss it terribly.
NG- Your cake,(pie), sounds delicious!!! I love oreos, especially in ice cream.
In other men we faults can spy, And blame the mote that dims the eye; Each little speck and blemish find; To our own stronger errors blind. -Benjamin Franklin
Hey, just had to sneak in here and say hi to JealousoftheMoon. I didn't know you had a Nweb acct! I'm A.E. Hall from the FFPG
Hey! I didn't know you had an account on here, either! (Although I might have guessed as much....) *glomps!* And I'd never have recognized you otherwise - well, unless I'd randomly spotted you and clicked your website - so I'm very glad you introduced yourself.
"...but Eustace had read only the wrong books. They had a lot to say about exports and imports and governments and drains, but they were weak on dragons."
*skips gaily into the square* Good Mortereve all!
I came back onto to Narniaweb yesterday, after not having been on for three months. I joked with my brother that I bet eveything has changed and I'll have no idea where anything is. And guess what? It had!
And then I forgot my username so I made a new one (Broadway_Geek), but then TGW helped me remember...So now I have an alter ego.
And I'm about to go make hot chocolate Because the only tea I like is chai and my sister took it all to colledge. But hot chocolate is just as good.
I leave a question behind for the general consideration: would you rather be a barnacle or a leech?
Without a doubt I'd wanna be a barnacle. Who'd wanna go around be stuck on people's legs, arms, and such by crazy "doctors" who has no idea what they're doing?
And yes, homeschooling is amazing. Even though I'm not allowed to do school work in my pjs.....I've got no homework, no cutting up frogs for bio with a lab partner you detest, no bad lunch food (I get leftovers everyday if I can steal them before my siblings get to them), and we can work school around my theater sched.

Haha! My mom did the same thing! She thought it was really cool. The funny thing is that later in the day she asked me what the date was.
Yeah, I suppose some people are like that. Lol, that is funny!
NarniaNut95: I'm a definite football fan. USC won last night! It was a pretty intense game on both sides. Do you like watching football?
Yes, I love watching football, too! Though, I don't watch too much college football, mostly professional. Watched a fun game just last night, in fact.
Righto, Aiden-I took college level Spanish classes, but I still think they were pretty simple, and not very advanced. Both I and my brother got very high grades, and it was the first real "class" we'd ever attended.
I see. Well, that's cool. So, I'm assuming you weren't in college when you actually took the course? So anyway, did you enjoy taking it?
Nick, hullo from page 14! Sorry for my laziness in posting. I have no excuse. I'll someday manage to send that PM you've most likely been waiting on... but not today.
No worries, it can be hard to get back in the posting mood when one has been out of it for a while. Glad to see you around, though!
No rush on the PM, take your time.
Wow, I am overdue for a catch up post.
You most certainly are!
Is that how you've been cheating?
"You need to know...if Shaw can catch" *tosses the flare forward*
I didn't have to cheat on that part.
Hmm, what? Me, cheat? *innocent look* Hey, it's your fault I got all of Ben's long monologues.
*Riley winces. Ian grabs the flare just before it lands on the ground* Nice try, though! *Ian's glove and jacket sleeve light on fire. He drops the flare on the ground which lights the gunpowder on fire. Shaw starts taking pot shots at Ben and Riley while running out the door.* "Get out Shaw!" *Ian and Ben exchange a look, then Ian runs out the door and locks it behind him.*
That's basically what I do too, but mine didn't ever copy the color. Formatting my quotes is habit for me.
It didn't retain the color?! That's weird! Anyway, since I never had to format quotes, I'm too lazy to start now.
"Oh, come on, now that was funny." A Few Good Men.
"Thank you, I've been told that before!" In Due Season. (May have used that before. )
Good! Will you let me know what you think of it?
If I get a chance to see it, sure!
I'm glad that you agree.
You don't know how long you've had them, but you know that you've hated them the whole time, correct?
Yes, I do agree. (What am I agreeing to?)
Actually, now that I know how annoying a retainer is, I've come to appreciate my braces a little more, and I'm not looking forward to getting them off.
You did an excellent job reading his true motives.
You are right again.
Why thank you!
Thanks.
Aw, I'm sorry. I shall try to avoid prolonged absences from here in the future.
Why, thank you.
I don't know. (That's good, because you do it quite often.)
Humph! (Yes, I do. )
I'm still not used to where the "new news" shows up, so I didn't see the podcast until you said that. I guess I need to listen to it too.
Oh, I see. Well, since 1) I'm subscribed to the NarniaWeb feed in my media player and 2) I get e-mail updates from NarniaWeb, I know right away when any new podcast is out. Anyway, let me know when you've heard it.
Same here. I can raise both of mine, and then move my left one up and down. (This is a random conversation)
Oh, it's the opposite with me—I can only do my right eyebrow. ('Tis that. )
She will.
I can imagine.
Aiden, I have a question! Do you prefer to be called Aiden or NN95?? I just don't want you to have to get on NW every day and go "Oh, great! Ruby called me Aiden again...I really hate that name." Ya know...
By the way, how has everything been going?
No, no, Aiden is fine! In fact, you can call me anything you like, and I really wouldn't mind. And what about you? Do you prefer Ruby or Dani? (Isn't Dani your real name? So I imagine you'd like that better.)
Everything has been going great here, thanks!
Don't raise your eyebrow at that harmless and intellignet mash-up of a word "All" goes well. You?
Ok, ok. Glad to hear it. All goes well here, too.
F2, so how's the production coming along?
No puedo decir que estoy haciendo extremadamente bien. Conozco a algunas palabras en español, pero a nos tengo todavía conseguir al aprendizaje hablarlo. Será obras en fase de creación.
I'm guessing you used a translator to write that, otherwise you're sure learning Spanish quickly. One tip: The sentence "Conozco a algunas palabras..." is incorrect. "Conozco" comes from the verb "conocer" which means "to know a person or place". And the "a" that you inserted only applies when the direct object is a person. The sentence should have read "Sé algunas palabras..."
Anyway... Me gusta que usted está aprendiendo a hablar español. Espero que le gusta a usted.
EDIT: If my Spanish consisted of anything bad...I'm so sorry, but I'm completely innocent of it...the translator must've been the problem. IF there was anything bad. (Yeah, yeah, I used a translator. Y'all must have thought I was crazy good at Spanish, or something. ;] )
Aha, you did use a translator. Surprisingly, I was able to understand most everything of what you said. Like I mentioned above, though, there were some grammatical errors. But I won't hold those against you since it was the translator's fault.
Yeah, they're both graphic, but I've only seen parts of Saving Private Ryan, never The Patriot.
Oh, cool! Always cool to stumble upon a nice soundtrack like that, eh? Do you know who wrote it?
Nope, it won't.
Yes, I will (and enjoy every minute of it). And there's nothing you can do about it!!! Muwahaha!
AAAAAAAHHH! (Boy, you sure know how to irritate the grammar freaks around here. )
*sings* Caaaaaaaaaaaatchup!! 5 whole pages.
Do you mean *sighs*? Doesn't seem like catchup is something to sing about.
;)) Yes, we started about a week ago. It's going swell, this is my last year of "math" I think... It's the toughest subject. But I'll live. How about you? School going well?
Glad to hear it's going well! I assure you, this is in no way your last year of math. Even if you never again take an official math class, you'll use it the rest of your life. (Just trying to be optimistic, of course. ) School's going well for me, too. I'm in my 5th or 6th week (can't remember) and so far things are gliding along!
Concerning 09/09/09: I said to my brother: "Oh yeah, and someone posted on facebook "Today is 09/09/09. It's the 252 day of the year. (2+5+2=9), it's September, which has 9 letters, and it's Wed. which has 9 letters."
Whoa, that's actually kind of cool! Too bad there had to be a Mac event to spoil the day.
Hey Ben! Sorry you had trouble getting on the new forum. Glad it's working now, though.
That's great that your braces are coming off in a couple weeks, NN95!
I'm actually not looking forward to it, since I find retainers extremely annoying.
Oh, I try all right, NN95. But my eyebrows just like to go up together. I think it's hopeless.
Same thing happened to me at first, but with diligent work, you'll be able to do it eventually.

I'm off, mortereve all!
