Mortereve all!

A happy belated 234[super]th[/super] birthday, US of A. :D

*waves to NN* B-)

*waves back* How've you been? :)

:| Just lost my whole post thanks to my "clumsy" fingers clicking the wrong keys and I don't feel like rewriting the whole thing so here is some :p .

If you use Firefox, there's this really cool add-on called Lazarus which'll recover any post you lose!

Your welcome :) . So, what have you been up to?

Not really much. Summer's been kinda slow so far. How about you?

Oh dear! (I think?) We went on vacation as well, so all Get Smart watching on my end was halted. I'm still going through Season 5, and making slow progress. ;))

How was your vacation, though? I hope it was good!

That is rather confusing, eh? Anyway, our vacation was great! We went down south to visit my grandmother, as we do each year. How was yours? :)

And, I see that Nick is back from vacation. Good to see you and your blue posts again! :)

That I am. :) Thanks, it's good to be back!

Just curious, has anyone here been following the World Cup?

Well, I'm off. Have a great mortereve all!

Just a bit of ketchup before I fall into bed for the night (this humid weather is really quite draining. I was outside earlier this evening playing with some friends and their kids, and I'm really glad we have air conditioning!)

Ah, yes, the Airbender reviews aren't looking very good. I've never seen the show, though.

If you do go see it, please post your thoughts either here or in the Spare Oom's Avatar: TLA Special Feature. I'm very curious about how people who aren't familiar with the show will react to it.

ack you're going to get us in trouble!!!

You know I'm just joshing here, right? ;)

Life is feeling a bit congested on my end, and still God is good.

I'll keep you in my thoughts. That last part is a great reassurance!

Rachel Marie (ramagut) is so totally looking forward to meeting you in a few weeks, Stargazer. And if memory serves, Princess Rosario will be there too.

Same here! Should be a great time meeting everyone! And it's coming up so fast...

My dad loved the name "Momo"...

And he's such a cute little guy. :)

But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

Hey all!

I'm in Colorado! And it is very beautiful! *licks his lips* and dry ;)) The weather is so much nicer than in Florida! It can be a bit cold but I can just dress with long sleeves. Right now I'm in a warm blanket ~o)

Alright catchup time :)

My dad loved the name "Momo", Ben. My mom liked (and still does) "Nadia" (after Nadia Comaneci, a famous gymnast), because Sofie is quite the impressive athlete when it comes to climbing, somersaults, flips, and swinging around on bars. ;)) But ah well, Sofie she [the kitten] became. *would upload pictures, if it weren't for the slooowww internet*

Oh I see, so he was sad to see it go?

This made me laugh pretty hard. ;))
And... a six night cruise? Wow... how exciting! *has never been on a cruise* Will this be your first time?
This here is a tad random, but... Can you really ride a unicycle? (Or have I already asked you that?) I noticed you 'entered the Square' on one earlier up the page, and got curious.

;))
Yes very exciting!
Yep this will be my very first! And It's going to be so much fun!
Yes I can :) I'm not sure if you asked me or not ;)) It is so hard to keep up with things here on TS such as who asked me what and who did I ask what and all that! So even if you think you asked me something already, but are not sure then might as well ask again :)

Ah, yes, the Airbender reviews aren't looking very good. ;)) I've never seen the show, though.
At first, I didn't like season 3 of RH at all, but after about 3 episodes I started to like it. It definitely has a different feel from the first two, but if you can just accept that it's going to be different, then I think it's very enjoyable. :) Some of the new characters annoy, though. :P

It is a really good show but badly put together movie (for I went to see it anyway ;)))

Oh I see. Who were or who was your favorite character(s) in Season 3?

haha you know me too well :p . If you hadn't posted that I would have thought you meant to snub me ;) .

Yeah I know :P Haha

:| B/c the 4th is a Sunday and some people wouldn't be able to come! I don't know, I wasn't hosting the party! It was fun though, I got to dress up and dance and stuff :p . Pics! http://s540.photobucket.com/albums/gg33 ... of%20July/

Why were you not hosting the party? :|
Cool pictures! Like your dress! My sister would be so jealous of it! ;))

Aww well I'm very very happy and excited for you! Where is it going to be?

Thanks! :) Well I know that we are going to Mexico and Jamaica and then some other Island around the Caribbean, but sure everywhere we are going...

ooh so now I'm a lady? I think we're much to rude to each other for that :p .

I never said anything of the sort :| ;) :P

yeah, right, I just imagine it all! And why is he a poor baby? B/c you're insulting his cute baby looks! :p

Why of course you do! :-o ;) :p
His cute baby looks? Wow! :P

;)) It is too funny. Hmm Sid...nice comparison there. Very very clever. I think I shall use it sometime... :p

:|
Haha yeah!

ack you're going to get us in trouble!!! :-o X( :p

hehe I'm 16 too :p . So it's not b/c of your age...just...idk, I use :p alot :p :p :p ;) . We'll probably have to use a paintbrush or whatever, not a sprayer. Karate Kid much? My dad's saying we can really learn martial arts this time 8-| :p .

TTFN :)

Well don't jinx it any more by saying that! :P
Then don't insult my age or you are insulting yours :P hehe...
Well I'm sure my age has something to do with it /:) Yeah me too :P :P :P
Oh sprayer makes it so much faster, but I guess you just got to work with what you have. I have never done and exterior without a sprayer...
Karate Kid? What does that have to do with it?
haha!

You know I'm just joshing here, right? ;)

Yeah ;))

My dad loved the name "Momo"...

And he's such a cute little guy. :)

I love Momo in Avatar:The Last Airbender! He is so funny!

Okay I need to be off! I got to go to work.

*groans* I am SO sore. I danced way too much on Saturday. It didn't help that since I was one of the better dancers, I had to help teach other people. It was fun but I had to dance 5x as much which is not good for my knees and back :p . Plus I played a pretty rough game of ultimate frisbee on Sunday, in which I almost broke my toe, twisted my ankle, hurt my shoulder, got tackled, and got my arm hit so hard it was shaking for 10 minutes afterwards, but I'll be ok :p .

If you use Firefox, there's this really cool add-on called Lazarus which'll recover any post you lose!

I don't use Firefox anymore- when my dad switched computers, he didn't put on Firefox, only Internet Explorer. But if I download it again, I'll get Lazarus, thanks :) .

Not really much. Summer's been kinda slow so far. How about you?

ditto, except we had a busy weekend and we have an exchange student and are getting another one at the end of July :) .

You know I'm just joshing here, right? ;)

haha yes :p

Yeah I know :P Haha

;))

Why were you not hosting the party? :|
Cool pictures! Like your dress! My sister would be so jealous of it! ;))

b/c my friends were hosting it! It wasn’t at our house :p

Thank you ;)) . I got a lot of compliments, which was nice since when we usually have these parties I don’t get dressed up :) .

Thanks! :) Well I know that we are going to Mexico and Jamaica and then some other Island around the Caribbean, but sure everywhere we are going...

Ooh that’s fun. Great places, lots of swimming ;)) .

I never said anything of the sort :| ;) :P

Well you implied it. So I’m not a lady, and yet you’re a gentleman? :p

Why of course you do! :-o ;) :p
His cute baby looks? Wow! :P

If I imagine it, why do the mods get involved sometimes :p ?

Why wow? He’s adorable! :p

:|
Haha yeah!

Used it! :p

Karate Kid? What does that have to do with it?
haha!

don’t boss me around! :p

*sigh* you’re lucky :p

Have you seen it? The kid has to paint a huge fence and then a house by hand and it’s to learn the correct hand movements and stuff :p .

TTFN :)

Good Mortereve and a Happy Belated Fourth of July everybody! **==

What did I do this holiday weekend? I studied. And then I studied some more. And then I studied even more. *sigh* What is the point of having a four day weekend when the teacher assigns two online quizzes and schedules a three chapter test for the day after? Oh well, at least it's over. #:-s I think I did okay. :-s

I hope you enjoy your break, ceppault!

*enters into the square on his unicycle*

A unicycle? Goodness! Is it hard to ride?

Same as you. :P Very good, except for school. :P Are you doing it over the summer?

*nods in sympathy* Yes, I'm doing summer school, Bio I and II in twelve weeks. What are you taking?

Could you teach an older guy to dance that unfortunately has no rhythm and moves not unlike a 300 lb gorilla?

I hope you enjoy your break, ceppault!

I thought about this for a bit. Not so much as enjoying, but appreciating a break from the sense of obligation. Life is a little congested on my end; focusing on things that are a bit of a mental strain.

Considering going for a walk this evening. Still kinda hot out there. 102F/39C. Humidity is still low at 7%. Quite tolerable for a while. Yes, I am well hydrated.

Hi, just finished watching Alice in Wonderland and it was...decent. More in the Past Movies thread tomorrow...

Could you teach an older guy to dance that unfortunately has no rhythm and moves not unlike a 300 lb gorilla?

;)) perhaps... :p . I'm really not that great a dancer myself, only in english country dancing. All the other kinds of dances I've tried- ballet, tap, hip hop, interpretive- I've failed miserably in :p .

Libby: It was hot today, but not too bad. Then again I'm always cold :p .

And likely very humid. Something we don't have here until mid summer.

Were you able to finish your blouse? How did it go?

Hehe! ;)) Sleeping in is somewhat fun, but I have discovered the joys of waking early...it's so lovely early in the morning. :) How is life for you? Anything interesting & fun?

Yes, I've finished it! :D It went really well. :)
Life is going ok I guess... Hm. :) There's ups and downs--2010 hasn't been really BAD, but it's probably been the worst year of my life so far. :p But I'm still enjoying it, so what do I have to complain about? :p I guess. ;))
We're leaving to go to Utah and Idaho this Saturday!! For a week long vacation. So I'm fairly excited for that. :D I love family vacations. :)
Oh, and I like the term "Dominion Day"!!
And also, we had an "Independence Day" party at our house on the 5th, so that was a lot of fun. :D

Plus I played a pretty rough game of ultimate frisbee on Sunday, in which I almost broke my toe, twisted my ankle, hurt my shoulder, got tackled, and got my arm hit so hard it was shaking for 10 minutes afterwards, but I'll be ok :p .

Wow! I'm barely even TOUCHED when I play Ultimate Frisbee. Ok, so I don't think I'm touched at all. Like, no one even brushes up against me. ;)) I think it comes from playing with a ton of guys who are too considerate to even accidentally be that rough. ;)) :p Or else I'm too timid to run towards the frisbee when there's 3 other guys running for it too... I do get my hand hit pretty hard with the frisbee sometimes though.. That can certainly hurt. ;)) Anyways, hope you feel better soon. :) Oh, and dancing! That's fun. :D

Hello :D

Still quite a bit better than me. ;)) English country dancing sounds like it would be fun. I have told Rachel Marie (ramagut) we need to take classes like that together some day.

;)) . It is alot of fun. I've never taken classes, only learned through going to a few church balls a year. Dances like these are easy to remember to me :) . Classes would probably be alot of fun though :D .

Wow! I'm barely even TOUCHED when I play Ultimate Frisbee. Ok, so I don't think I'm touched at all. haha :)) . I'm more touched when I play with fewer people. When we play with alot of people, I'm mostly ignored b/c I'm not the greatest player, but the less people we play with, the higher up the ranks I go ;) . So the better player you are, the more likely you are to get pushed around and whopped :p . The guys I know are (usually! :p ) very gentlemanly but once you bring sports in they honestly don't care :p . My younger sister almost got a concussion last year after playing ultimate frisbee b/c one of our guys friends ran in to her to prevent her catching the frisbee :p . But yeah, thanks, I'm not so sore now ;)) . Oh and yes, the dancing is always way better than the frisbee :p . It's kind of funny b/c at the party, they made all the guys that played amguards promise to dance too, although half of them didn't- only some guys at our church enjoying dancintg :p ;)) .

*Cor and Vern return to the Square for a long overdue catch-up post on this hot, steamy summer day*

The heat around here has been most unpleasant. #:-s Thankfully there are several lakes around the castle. :D

*Yes, but that means that the animals are easier to hunt. ;) *

True, but not everyone is so concerned about how good the hunting is, Vern. ;)

*True, true....*

Well, I guess it's time to make a much overdue post. Sorry for disappearing from the Square.... again. Life seems to be constantly getting in the way... again. :p

*Cor and Vern sit down by the Ditto pool, letting their feet (and claws) soak in the cool water*

-------------------------------

@ Ali. Yeah,I know the feeling. For me is was pretty much "you need to go to at least the community college..... but you can have a year off for a break". :p It's still a good deal, IMO. :)

@ Daughter of the King. *smiles as Daughter does her best curtsy* You have heard correctly, miss. Let me introduce you to Vern, my dragon. :)

*Greetings miss Daughter of the King or Dot! (is it alright to call you that?) It's a pleasure to meet you! :) I hope we may see you around the Square frequently.*

@ Rose. *examines the chocolate tree* Hmm, it does appear we might have done a slightly better job at pruning than I intended.... ;)) Still, it helped to make some excellent chocolate cakes! :D

*And the chocolate by itself wasn't too bad either. ;) :p *

BTW, lovely avvie! :) It took me a moment to realize it was the ship from Princess Bride.

@ Ti'ana. Wow, it's been ages since I've seen you around here.... :-o Glad you dropped by!

As for how we've been? Hot and busy. :p Typical summer here in Archenland.

@ Greenleaf. Been staying rather busy with a lot of stuff I won't bore you with by retelling it here. Also been dealing with the usual Southern summer heat/humidity.

How have you been?

@ Winter. Of course after I want you to start stopping by regularly I star stopping by less regularly. :p *laugh* The Royal Family is doing quite well, thank you. Staying busy and trying to beat the heat. You?

*Mmm!! Ice cream! :D I love ice cream almost as much as Cor.... if that's possible. ;) Vern digs into the bowl of frozen goodness. Thank you very much, Winter!*

@ Poggy. Poggy!!!! :D Glad to see you around again!

@ Betsie. It appears they do. I never really thought about it before.... Thank heavens no! That would be most.... awkward if they did. :|

@ Jo. Or once every other week. ;)) Aww, thank you most kindly Jo! Heh, yeah, same here (about having more time off).

I'm hoping to just take my basics at first. Not sure how much I'll tackle at the beginning. I still need to talk to a student counselor about that...

*Vern quickly slurps down all three newts. Ahh, perfect. Thank you, miss Jo! :D *

*waves to Ruby*

*And sends greetings to all he did not specifically mention: Gazer, Libby, AC, Ben, QueenSusan, Cepp, NN, Mel and Fanny*

--------------------------------------

Well, I think that gets my catch-up on the last 6 or 7 pages. #:-s It was worth it, though. :)

I guess we better get back to the castle. The Royal family is going on vacation for the next few days and we've left Vern and Ralph (my Dad's other advisor) in-charge of the castle.

Talk with all of you later!

*Cor and Vern exit the Square, being sure to snag a few chocolates off of the chocolate tree.... for the road, of course.*

Not up there with a MegaPost, but good sized. Nice to see you about the Square. Dry and hot here. Humidity never got above 4%. Temp hit 108F(42C).

I did not feel it as much as my partner; made me dizzy. This earthquake was in Southern California (click here to see the USGS map). Made water splash around in the water cooler.
