Hi everyone!
Is that a gym? Interesting name.
![]()
it's sort of like a very tall jungle gym in the woods . Here's the website http://www.monkeytrunks.com/ . I did the tallest course
.
I like all of those as well.
At least, the majority. I still haven't heard any "The Almost" or "Swimming with Dolphins."... And I think just one song by TRS...
Pretty sure I've heard almost every song by RelientK, Skillet, Owl City, and Josh Groban though.
![]()
You should listen to some of The Almost and SwD! And more of TRS too- they're all awesome . Oh I adoooore Josh Groban. Just got two of his CDs out of the library
.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT TO ME!!!!!!!

Ok, doubt I will soon because we are living in a motor-home and I'm working a lot!
oh wow ok. I give you permission to wait a few months .
Well apparently not all the time, because I have not heard/saw it
no, you just don't go on the parts of the forum where we use it!
Yeah I guess............
well it would be. Imagine the girl you love puts up a gravestone saying she wed and had kids while you were waiting to be able to come back to her and pretended she was actually dead and let you start crying and then comes out of the woods to suprise you!
@ Ali. At this time, no. I'm planning on taking my basics at the Community College for a few years and then moving on to actual college. So, choosing a college is still a few years away.

Most welcomed, Ali!

Ok, sounds cool . I have noo idea what I want to do, or if I want to go to college at all

Good Mortereve everyone!
I am currently printing lecture notes, so that is my excuse for being on Narniaweb instead of studying.
I'm doing well, Liberty, other than having to bear this dreadfully hot weather. How about you?
On the bright side, i don't have to wear it all the time, just 12-14 hours a day!
![]()
Lucky! I had to wear mine whenever I wasn't eating when I first got my braces off. I only have to wear it at night now, thank goodness.
I think it'd be kind of fun to do commercials, but I suspect that they're a lot harder to make than they look or sound. Would you prefer to do radio or TV? Or would the same company do both?
I think I would prefer TV over radio, although radio commercials could be a fun challenge. I'd have to come up with a way to sell the product entirely through sound. That could be interesting. I have no idea if the same company would do both, although I have heard Geico commercials on the radio. But they were really boring because they were basically the exact same as the TV commercials only without video. *ends rambling*
Lazarus? I'll have to look into it. Wrong buttons seem to attract my fingertips sometimes.
Could I nickname you Dot?
Dot? Dot. Dot. Dot. Dot. Dot. I like it.
Prince Cor! *does her best curtsy* 'Tis a pleasure to meet you as well. I have heard that you have a dragon friend named Vern. Is that right?

Hey daughter of the King and Libby!
Well that last few posts I have made I knew I was forgetting something, and I finally just remembered what!
So my sister just had a baby on the 24th of June! And guess what she named it?... Edmund! I was very happy with this name for I like it a lot . But anyway he is a really cute new born, and usually I say that most newborns are not very good looking but he was cute!
Well I'm off!

@Mel: The portraits you did of the Royal Family of Narnia are exquisite. Perhaps you could do the Royal Family of Archenland sometime.
Why, thank you your majesty! *curtsies* Perhaps I could, especially since the drawing I have of Cor right now is of him looking rather ragamuffinish and I don't have a nice one of King Lune.
Oooh, that looks like a lot of fun, GtG! And congratulations on doing the tallest course! (Tallest = hardest?)
I'd have to come up with a way to sell the product entirely through sound. That could be interesting.
I happen to like radio better than TV, myself, since it seems like they should have to be a bit more creative in selling the product, and I have a more than passing interest in audio dramas. I really enjoy some of the commercials included in Old Time Radio Shows. Some of them are almost as entertaining as the actual show. (One of my favourite ad series is one featuring the Lone Stranger and Pronto promoting Merita Bread. )
If I had the choice, I think it'd do it the other way around; and develop an ad that works well on the radio, and then adapt it for TV...
Congratulations, Ben! (And lots more to your sister and brother-in-law, if they won't be weirded out by receiving them from random strangers on the internet. ) Is this your first time being an uncle? (*is pretty sure the answer is 'no' but can't remember for sure*)

Our house has certainly been... livened up, Louise. No doubt about that. Fortunately all three animals are past the "hate-to-the-death" and "tolerating" stages, and are now beginning to get along. Amazing? Yes. Definitely.
Mmm, I do so enjoy that concerto you linked to, Louise, but then, you already know that.
Thank-you, once again! (PMs are the greatest.)
Yes, DotK, we've had two cats who disappeared---one over the summer [while we were gone for two months], and the other last February. Most likely they were both due to the coyotes we have around here. *sigh*
Oh, I see winter (about the yellowbooks). I was wondering if that's what they were, just never heard the term before.
I love doing the little detail stuff, it's so much fun.
Ditto, ditto, d.i.t.t.o. I couldn't agree with you more. I love embroidering (though not sewing), music, drawing... pretty much anything detailed with my hands. I have a sketchbook that is slowly and gradually filling up (emphasis on the *slowly*).
Oh, and I LOVE drawing/designing cards -- so much fun!
*chuckles at the firefox commercial* Hilarious! T'was the perfect imitation -- I especially enjoyed Nick's comment.
lol did she now?
Mhm, it reminded her too much of "h**o" --- which she found greatly disturbing. I liked both equally, so it wasn't that disappointing for me (another story about my dad, though).
Thanks for letting us know that the chocolate tree needed picking, Rose!
![]()
No problem in the least! I'm just happy you were able to drop by. (And your mother as well.) *examines the now-slightly-bare chocolate tree* Mm, it appears you and yours did well! The tree has... more or less shrunk considerably in appearance (and probably in weight also).
I tried my best, but one can only fit in so much chocolate, you know (though I'm beginning to think the Royal Family is an exception).
Yes, Lady A, those tapestries are... quite the hit, especially for mothers with toddlers. Fireproof, waterproof.... you name it.

Hey y'all, I know I haven't been here in AGES but I'm popping in to see if y'all would like to help some rescued cats get food to eat. It's very simple. All you have to do is answer a trivia question. Right or wrong, you donate 10 kibble to rescue. That may not seem like much, but they've served over 3,462,091 meals to rescued cats because of people who donated just 10 pieces of kibble.
I thought of y'all because of today's trivia... It's Narnia related. I think y'all will all get it right... rofl

yes tallest= hardest. What made it so hard though was that it was so high up. It was pretty terrifying but fun. At the end of the course you have to jump off a 2' by 3' platform while hanging from a stretchy rope and someone lowers you down. Suprisingly that was the best part. But it was pretty frightening the first couple seconds before the rope really catches you .

Mortereve all!
Well, we're back from vacation, as you can tell. We had a great time, but it's good to be back.
I'm definitely going to be skimming today, seeing as how I have over 15 pages to catch up on!
you too. I still haven't
Nor have I, seeing as how I've been on vacation for the past week and a half.
Aiden! How are you? It's funny, I was telling a friend of mine about you not liking chocolate ('cause she doesn't either) and she asked how I knew you and then what you looked like, and Lissa and I promptly replied: "He looks like Prince Caspian!" 'cause of your avatar. 😉 Hehe!
GREAT! Did you have a massive turnout for your play? Yeah, it's a shame, but the play is, I'm afraid, going to be lame. =P
I'm doing great, thanks. You? Lol, that's funny. I assume people look like their avatar, too. Well, good for her for not liking chocolate either.
No, strangely we didn't have an full crowd either night; however, there were few people that came both nights, so if you add up all the different people from both nights combined, then I guess we did have a pretty massive turnout.
*belatedly wishes Aiden/NN a wonderful vacation*
Thankee, kindly. We most certainly did have a wonderful vacation!
Our next episode is Episode 14, on disc 2. Where are you?
Now I'm a little thrown off, because my mom got the next season of another show to watch on vacation last week, and when we got back, she took out an entirely different show to watch. So I can't remember if we finished Get Smart or not, but I assume we did. Have you finished?
Well, I'd like to study nursing, and then eventually get my master's degree as a nurse practitioner. And I'm hoping to go to a Christian university in the Midwest, but I'm waiting for some last-minute funding to come in. If it doesn't, I'll work and take some classes here and go next year!
Hurrah! What are your plans for the summer?
And ah yes, the joys of finishing while the rest of the world is doing finals. You know, we really need such encouragement, since we have no friends and never get out of the house.
![]()
![]()
Sounds like a good plan! I hope all goes well for you.
Well, we really don't have much in the way of plans, except that we went on vacation last week.
Mm, true. We hermit homeschoolers do need some consolation.
That is an excellent question! Hmm, he'll have to prove he can play in the NFL first. There's too many questions surrounding his ability right now. As far as being someone who can inspire people's confidence and affection, I think he could be. So much of that "franchise quarterback" quality is in the hearts of the fans. (The fans in this region still haven't gotten over Elway.)
So, are you willing to hazard a guess as to how well the Pats will do this year?![]()
I think he'll get a couple years to get the feel of the NFL before they ever start him. But I'm sure he'll be getting lots of opportunities to play at the end of games when there's a comfortable lead... that sort of thing. He's definitely the type of player than can lead the team, though! What do you think about his slower release style of throwing that he used to have in college? Will that affect him?
It's hard to say. I think they've made some good improvements to the offense with the draft picks, and signing guys like Torry Holt and David Patten. The question is still the defense. Is the secondary up to par? I'd like think they'll do considerably better than last year, but with the improvements of the other teams in their division, it'll be harder to get to the playoffs.
Well, despite
I thought perhaps the people who made such an awesome two seasons could still be somewhat trusted. Needless to say, I was wrong.SpoilerMarian getting killed off,
I was just going to comment thatSpoilerGuy's inner struggles intensify quite a bit. There's actually glimmers of redemption in him. Another reason the ending makes no sense--season 1 Guy might have killed Marian, but season 2 would never have.
Well, maybe the ending of Season 2 was a hint of what was to come in Season 3.
Yeah, that's what I've heard. I really loved the end of Season 1 (obviously), but I'm kinda dreading that Season 2 will end on a sad note.
Balustrade the First! Greetings to you, Kind Sir, and many thanks for your felicitous welcome!
