Hello everyone! How is everyone doing today? I'm pretty fine! I have a story to tell y'all, after I catch-up! So I better get on it...
Aiden! How are you? It's funny, I was telling a friend of mine about you not liking chocolate ('cause she doesn't either) and she asked how I knew you and then what you looked like, and Lissa and I promptly replied: "He looks like Prince Caspian!" 'cause of your avatar. 😉 Hehe!
GREAT! Did you have a massive turnout for your play? Yeah, it's a shame, but the play is, I'm afraid, going to be lame. =P
Oh Lady Liln, it's absolutely fantastic to see you!! It's been soooooooo long!! How are you, girl? I'm doing fine!
In fact, you do want to know why I'm butchering chickens.
For meat through the year; they're so expensive in the store. Also, my parents are firm believers in teaching responsibility and chores just so happen to be their method.
Actually, this year it was completely my idea; voluntary labor.
My favorite Westlife songs are: My Love http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGoUTwIWxis , The Rose http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTCQBuYhq_s , and Seasons in the Sun http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vf31kyAb3ZI . And they're Irish; they have a brogue!! I like their Sinatra stuff too; I'm a huge Sinatra fan!
Hello, Miss Rosario! Yes, we do grow our own strawberries; we have a huge bed, and the runners make it bigger every year! I know; we who get our own berries are so spoilt, huh?
*returns PC's wave* Hey, it's the Butcher! Don't worry, Imma not going to cut you! 😉
Bestie!! *arrives at Bestie's side with a big bowl of strawberries for the sharing* And how are we these days?
Hi QS! How're you today? Lol, I like your comments on Josh Groban... I agree; I might get bugged if I got that many comments. Unless, of course, I was as funny as him; or as popular! lol
Glenny, that's cool that you've had success with getting back autographs; it's a cool thing to collect, and might I say it, the only thing I collect!
Hiya, Ben! Aye, the "Tales before Narnia" is very good. It's a bunch of writing that influenced Lewis. =]
*hugs Bella*
Hi Jo! Hehe, that's funny, considering Michael is Canadian.
For sharing a name, we don't have same taste, which is most saddening! When I think Keira, I think Val, so that's why I like Keira, I guess.
Oops, better go now. I have many books to read this evening and software to set up! G'bye all!

Well, MissRosario, I wouldn't have recognised him either. It's kind of hard to see the artist photos from an album over the radio. On the other hand, I bet the one woman was really excited.
Ugh! It's nasty to throw up four times in one day... I hope you feel better soon!

Glad you had a lovely bday, Glenstorm! And MissRosario, that's too bad about your being sick. But -better out than in? Sorry that's not entirely helpful.
Ride a white pig
To see a fine lady

Home again, home again
Jiggity-jigTake the big hog
And she shall have truffles

Home again, home again
jiggity-jog*observes with interest the mangling of one or more nursery rhymes*
I saw this yesterday and have been saying the rhyme in my head ever since trying to work it out! (Exams, you say? Oh yes in six hours exactly).
Anyway, I have not googled the answer, though I wanted to, so I can only offer partial de-mangling.
To market, to market
To buy a fat hen
Home again, home again,

To market, to market,
To buy a fat pig,
Home again, home again
Jiggledy-jig?
I don't remember there being a fine lady; are you referring to that one about the lady with rings on her fingers and bells on her toes? I need to get out my nursery rhyme cassette tape of Mother Gooses'.
*disappears*
Love is the answer
At least for most of the questions
In my heart. Like why are we here?
And where do we go? And how come it's so hard?

Glenny, that's cool that you've had success with getting back autographs; it's a cool thing to collect, and might I say it, the only thing I collect!

Some major ketchup going on here.
(Dear, when did you all get me to start using this terrible pun? I was against it for so long ... and now I've crossed over to the dark side!)
To answer all the inquiries and expressions of concern: I'm afraid my cell phone is lost for good, and I will have to purchase a new one in the next couple of days. I'm afraid also that I'm going to cut dairy completely out of my diet for a while now, and maybe try to ease it back in in a few months.
What are you people's favorite soundtracks?
Mine would probably be Howard Shore's The Lord of the Rings (the best), James Newton Howard's The Village (the viooooolliiiiin!), Patrick Doyle's Henry V and Sense and Sensibility (great vocal writing), Franz Waxman's Rebecca (golden age Hollywood at its best), Nino Rota's Romeo and Juliet (you know the love theme ... believe me), James Horner's Braveheart (anything Celtic is automatically interesting to me), Dario Marianelli's Atonement (love the typewriter as a percussion instrument) ... and I'm sure there's more, but that's all that comes to mind at the moment.
Well, lys, it's about time
Geez, nice to see you again too, I guess.
Yes, you summarized the emotional whirlwind of last Wednesday quite well. I work closing again tonight ... I hope there's no rental! Should find out when I get there, though; last week was definitely a fluke.
Sounds like a fun time with your sister. Wow, she's 6 already?!
Hard to believe, isn't it? I feel like she should still be 3 or 4. She's still pretty much the same size, though!
The Infrequent Lysander
Gosh, what I welcome I'm getting here - first Jo and now you!
All this stuff about dairy and wheat is supposed to be comforting to me? I love bread and cheese - I would probably eat nothing else if I could. But seriously, thanks for the info re: stress and food sensitivities. I'm sure my current problems with milk are partially the result of stress.
Btw, the one of our, erm, health consultants? (we don't go to a doctor) told us that stomach problems can be a sympton of gluten allergies. So maybe that's what you're allergic too.
I've thought of that too. Maybe I'll get tested for celiac at some point.
Lady_Liln, it's nice to see you about too! Your rainbow-colored posts are always a feast for the eyes.
All for me.

I will never use it! I HATE ketchup, I refuse to even touch a bottle .

*lets a laugh escape and quickly swallows it* I know how you feel. I could do the same, but you have to live with it. My mom gave me a huge scolding today b/c I had mac and cheese for lunch. *sigh* but it's been so long!
I've thought of that too. Maybe I'll get tested for celiac at some point.
Good idea. I didn't get tested, I just did a cleanse, but either way. Tests can be expensive though. I wanted to take one for food allergies but it was $1000 . So I just took one for non-edible allergies, which was like $100
.
oh and sorry about your cell phone .

*walks in lazily with a little pillow in case she grows weary and tired*
(Catchup will be done later, I might fall asleep and use sleepy grammer if I attempt to do it now, even though I do have the time. )
Any other SquareOnions up to await the VDT trailer?
*raises hand* Oh wait, I don't count... I wonder why they did that, make it this early. *yawns*
RL Sibling: CSLewisNarnia
I'm glad I just had a snack (and the first chocolate of the day!) since I'm getting hungry just reading these posts.
I'm hanging around for the VDT trailer, which appears at 2 am my time. Half an hour later the International Space Station flies over my house, so if the sky stays clear that long (it's been very cloudy lately) I'm going outside to check it out.
I know what you mean about sleepy grammar...it's getting harder and harder to type coherently.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
*mumbles something about chocolate being mentioned in Gazer's post and how that's making her hungry*
Ditto, it's coming at 2 here too. Which does seem an eternity away! I'm debating spending my time waiting or sleeping. Pardon my ignorance, what is the International Space Station? How very neat that you get to see that, too!
Yessir, that it is! And to comprehend words, too. Although, at 1: 55, I'm going to give my face a good splash of ice water so I'm up and awake for the magnificence in store. ^_^
RL Sibling: CSLewisNarnia
The International Space Station is a joint venture between the US, Russia, and other countries to build a large orbiting space station. It's where all the space shuttles go now, and is also serviced by ships from other countries (which is handy since there are only 2 more space shuttle missions scheduled). It's so big that it's easily visible from the ground if you know where and when to look. Various sites, including http://www.heavens-above.com , will provide predictions tailored specifically for you, once you enter your general location (town is good enough). It's a fun thing to watch, knowing that there are actually people in that bright light passing through the sky.
Ice water is good. I recently consumed a little caffeine to help me stay awake...one hour remaining now.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
Wowow, that's fantastic! Hehe, the heavens-above site is neat, showing where it's at at the moment. It looks like it just passed where I'm at, but no big disappointment because it's cloudy. Did you go see it yet?
Caffine sounds like a nice idea. I'd try it, but no cup o' joe resides here.
One more hour, one more hour! (Well, 51 minutes now.) I'm irresolute on my thoughts of the plotline, but I'm looking forward to enjoying the trailer.
Are you rather postive about the matter, or?
RL Sibling: CSLewisNarnia
No cuppa here either, which always astounded my brother because he lived in the Coffee Capital of the World (Seattle) for a long time. Mountain Dew is my brand of caffeine.
The ISS pass I'm looking for comes at 0237 my time, so I'll hang around after the trailer release - assuming those clouds don't come rolling back in here. *crosses fingers and toes*
I'm looking forward to the trailer this morning, and am cautiously optimistic about the movie. I hope it's a reasonable adaptation and the series continues - I'd love to see an adaptation of HHB.
And movie releases mean NarniaWeb Lion Parties - really fun chances to meet other NarniaWebbers to see the movie with.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
Ahah, I can see that. Anywho, Mountain Dew is a good (and actually tastes good, IMO) source for caffine.
Oh, cool. Hope you get to see it! Eheh, *plans to collapse after the trailer release*
From the opinions I've heard of recent about the trailer and movie, yours is one of the more optimistic ones. Good to know there's another among us who aren't waiting to be disappointed. HHB would be splendiferous to see! Personally, I can't wait for TMN or TSC, but mostly the former.
I had forgotten about Lion Parties- do they occur frequently at different times, or is there just one big event where Narniawebbers/Narnia fans gather together on the day the movie is coming out and watch it? Wonder if there'll be one coming nearby here; that would be swell.
RL Sibling: CSLewisNarnia
*Hears talking in the distance... Opens eyes and gazes around stupidly, with a growing sense of nostalgia... Gets up and tries to walk around, stumbling stupidly*
Oh, umm, hi! Been a long time since I've posted on NWeb... I see most of my old friends are still around.
How is everyone?
Spelling Nazi, at your service.
Avatar and signature are my own - will make Narnia graphics on request.
Hullo you wonderful Town Square visitors! I'm still up from waiting for the trailer and can't quite send myself off to bed yet.
I ... wait! What is that? In the sky over Ditto Town!
It's swamp gas! It's a UFO! It's
