*waves back to Queen Susan* Are we just going to keep waving?
I don't know... are we? *laugh*
Thanks! I needed something new for the new website, and this one's a lot higher quality than the old one, while still recognizable.
Yes, I like it a lot! Very nice!!! 😀
Let's not forget to pray for him.
A huge AMEN to that!!
Ruby, your night sounded awesome! Glad you had such a wonderful time! Neat experience!
Must go eat dinner now...

Hey ho! It's Jo-o. And I promise this post won't be neeeaaarly as long as my last. That was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, let me tell you.
First: *waves to Queen Susan and Miss Aravis*
N², we only have an old, small TV that mainly gets used for DVD watching, although my hubby watches the news quite often. Favourite old shows? I Love Lucy, Gilligan's Island, Get Smart, Green Acres, The Beverly Hillbillies ...
Thanks for the update on your braces! So, are you getting both a permanent and a temporary retainer after? Our kids all have the permanent (behind their teeth) and another one they put it every night while they're sleeping.
Why do I like the BBC Narnia movies so much? Because one could almost read line-by-line from the book as they're playing. Overall, they are so very close. And yeah, that's why I love 'em.
Thanks for the info on the character codes.
The bear only had three paws, Fanny? Somehow I missed that in your original post. How sad! Yes, that sight would evoke sympathy.
Ah, Lady Arwen, a woman after mine own heart: another cold-weather person!
Your mum is a musical therapist, Wren? I was thinking, at one time, of pursuing that career. And now a friend of mine is going back to university for that degree (she already graduated years ago with a general music degree).
Pssst, don't tell anyone, but I kinda like "Joey-poo". Probably because in my growing up years my beloved sister and I would affectionately add '-poo' on to our names. In fact, this is the sister some of you have heard about before whose nickname for years upon years now has been (and still remaineth) Poops or Poopsey or Poopsey-pie.
Ah, your dad is turning 50 next year. Throw him a doozer!
Djaq, you have the sheet music for the Anne theme? I'd love to get hold of that! I mean, not yours, of course.
I'm homeschooled but I'm taking three homeschool classes: Biology, Algebra 1, and Composition. They're going ok, I guess. don't tell my mother, but I'm warming up to the composition class and might actually enjoy it!
(Grief, it's a tad of a pain to put those quotation marks around one's name when quoting, si?) In the bolded word there, Winter, did you mean to say just "school" instead? And ... I won't breathe a word. Glad you're enjoying it.
Great about your braces news, Edmund P!
Kingskid, do you feel prepared for ACT tomorrow? *praying for you* And I must say, 'tis good to see our turkey-leg-with-spurs friend in your avvy again. Oh, okay, so you will be starting college/uni in fall/2010?
p², all the best in your upcoming busy school week! Will you be graduating next spring?
johobbit, that was a very very very long post!
Yeah. I wouldn't blame y'all for not reading all the way through: that's why I bolded names so you each could just pick out what pertained to you.
@ Narnia Girl re Eyebrow Raising : I can raise both of mine at the same time and my left eyebrow alone up really high, but you should try and see me raise my right one. It just does not work. What talent your one brother has in alternately raising one, then the other.
cep in remembrance of Remmie. I saw his photos on FB today: beautiful cat!
Let's not forget to pray for him.
Yes! He is missed here! I wish he could have made it to the Mod Moot this summer ...
*just squashed a bug with a kleenex box and is now cleaning the dead remains off of her biology text book*
Uh, thanks for that info, Ruby.
So, do tell us about this 'most amazing night of your life', if you so desire. EDIT LATER: Ah, I see you did: in full colour, passion, detail, and excitement. Glad you had such an awesome and meaningful night!
Of course Winter was invited! She's the voice of sanity and sense at those kind of parties.
Winter?!!
Thanks, Ruby, I'm sleeping in a most excellent way. *thinks* Somehow that sounded odd. Translation: I'm getting great sleeps, thanks.
Oh, are you on Facebook? Want to be my friend? If so, PM; if not, no problem.
Ruby lives in a cave? I live in a hobbit hole ... and That Means comfort. Speaking of which, did you hear that the lawsuit between the Tolkien Estate and New Line Cinema is now FINALLY settled, so The Hobbit movies can move ahead without hindrance.

Mortereve all! Sorry for not posting in the last few days.... School has been keeping me busy as well as other stuff. I'll hopefully be able to hang around here this evening though. I might even drag Lady A in here tonight....
Anyway, I better get back to my books. I hope everyone of having a great Friday!

Aiden: Very clever. Yes-- Hoo Done It is in the Second season.
I figured you had some charts on the stock exchange. International currency rates, too, eh? Good thing to keep tabs on, to be sure. NASCAR? You mean, winners?
Um, yes, I guess. In reality, I've only seen one or two NASCAR races on TV, so I have no I really have no idea about it.
Thanks! Hmm. I generally like the more drama- themed albums, as well as some of the piano solos, some of the mysterious ones, the melancholy ones and some of the more military sounding ones. You?
Djaq:
Haha, I'd noticed that it was coming up, but didn't realize that it was here on the actual day until later in the afternoon.
Winterstar:
True, that! I am SO glad He give us second chances, otherwise we'd not be able to do anything! We don't always learn from, our mistakes, though: No matter how many times I walk into a wall, I always do it again... Maybe I'm just clumsy like that.
I guess that's where the third and fourth and fifth and so on chances come into play, maybe? God must have so much patience with us sometimes!
Edmund P: Ah, glad to hear about the appointment!
*nods* Ah, okay! I'm glad you're enjoying it though. It certainly is has some interesting parts in it, eh?
Narnia Girl, I like your new avvy! Alas, it was just our first time watching Fireproof, but I think it's safe to say my whole family enjoyed it, and it was worth having to wait to see it.
pp: I hope you're able to see Fireproof soon. I saw Facing The Giants as well, and for the most part liked it too. I'm not a huge football fan, nevertheless, it was really good to see a film put out by people like those who directed it, especially their standards.
Ruby: That sounds like a very fun concert- I'm so glad it all went well and you got to meet them!
Mrs. Jo: Don't feel too bad about missing it, I don't think I said that in the original post.
*sends a wave back to Cor*
Hmm...I guess this is it. I should be off now. Cheers!
Dear days of old, with the faces in the firelight,

jo, my impression is that superscript is little letters at the top of the big litters, like the squared sign, while subscript is... the opposite. Down below, because it's 'sub' as in 'subteranean' and 'submarine'... Of course, I could just be making stuff up.
No, he wouldn't!!! But, now that you mention it...it may be fun to try at some point.
If you do that, I want a link to the post.
lol, handing it off to a sib?
Absolutely. I'm a lazy cook.
Where have you seen my picture?
Well, it does show up in your avatar from time to time...
Aren't you proud of yourself?
I'm so proud of myself, I strained a muscle patting myself on my back.
I hate to have to follow all the awesome TAN stories, but I've got some pretty cool news too. Check this out! It still seems unreal, but... that's me. That's my art.

Hello all! *Waves*
Pretty good! It's been pretty busy, though. And October/November is going to be quite busy! How goes it with you?
That's good! I hope you won't get overloaded, then. It's been good, for the most part. Someone *coughmylittlesistercough* stole on of my books and then lost it. So, I'm kinda annoyed.
*waves to NN95, Lady A, DJ, and Winter*
*Waves back* How have you been?
That's weird. You'd love Lazarus! You won't lose another post for the rest of your life. Yeah, it would help to get the latest Firefox. Here's where.
Sweet! Thanks. I'll upload that later after I've gotten all my important documetns on a flash-drive just in case.
Lol, you sure change your mind quickly!
I do not! Ok, yes I do.
Thanks! Or, was that not a compliment?
Awesome! I'm already 10% there! I knew exactly how you meant it, I'm just being irritating. Oh, you're right, "star" would have been awkward in context. ( )
I was being sarcastic.
Yup! Only 90% more to go! Oh, you aren't one of those people are you?
Exactly! So, there's nothing really "embarrassing" about the new one. It's just like he's blushing. In fact, the code for the smiliey is ""
True! I wonder why the code's like that. What does the "ym" stand for???
The new one is kinda funny in an annoying sort of way. But, I agree, the old one was so great!
The old one looked devious, the new one looks crazy.
Shades of what stardf is experiencing as we speak at this very moment. US Navy Recruit Training, Great Lakes, IL.
Er, right. *Stops feeling sorry for herself* Poor Stardf... though, I guess he can't mind too terribly much, though. I mean, he wouldn't of joined the Navy if he did, right?
(Grief, it's a tad of a pain to put those quotation marks around one's name when quoting, si?) In the bolded word there, Winter, did you mean to say just "school" instead? And ... I won't breathe a word. Glad you're enjoying it.
It is, a bit, then you get used to it. No, I quite meant to say homeschool. Homeschool classes are where a group og homeschoolers hire a teacher to teach just one class. If those three were the only classes I was taking I'd have a fair bit more time.
I guess that's where the third and fourth and fifth and so on chances come into play, maybe? God must have so much patience with us sometimes!
Er, don't you mean 30,40, and 50th times? He really does.
Hey, malkah! Nice to meet you! *Waves* Mortrevere comes from the fact we all live on different time zones. Instead of saying, good morning, or afternoon, or evening, you can say mortrever which has "mor" for morning, "eve" for evening, and I guess, the "t" and "re" must have something to do with afternoon. Did that make any sense? If not, you can ask someone else, becasue I'm not good at explaining things.
See y'all!

Catching up!
Only five more days till TAN comes my way!
That's just so awesome! I love how a ton of us are getting to hear them within such a short period of time!
Oh, and I've been doing great! =D Other than having a terrible cold for the past couple days. I'm sure it'll go away soon though.
You're saying... Mike was the one with a cold? If so, I feel kind of bad for him having to sing...
Though I think for me, when I have a cold (depending on the day) my voice sounds kind of cool. Just different I guess.
Yep, Mike was the only one with a cold... and so sometimes he would back away from the mic to cough... I felt really bad for him. But seriously, you couldn't tell he had one at ALL. He was so energetic, and his voice sounded amazing. Haha, he said that with his cold he could sing lower than usual
*waves to Nutty*
Hey Lucy! I'm doing good. How have you been? Lol, congrats on posting the 2nd post of the morning
Hey Malkah! Great to see you in here!
*waves back to Auntie Jo!*
Okay, so RUBY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am soooo happy for you that you got to meet them! Hehe! Your post made me all excited because you talked about so many of the exact same things I experienced!
Yep, it was pretty loud right in front of the stage (I was in the middle in front of Mike, though, not by the speakers, so it was probably worse for you, lol) but not as loud as I thought it would be. When they played By your Side (which, btw, was it in F-major instead of G-major? I'm curious if you recall it sounding like it was in a different key, because I think they do it lower when they play it live =P) I thought my head was going to explode - it got all numb and felt like it was vibrating... plus I was crying from the sheer beauty of it... that didn't help with the whole head-exploding feeling. But yeah like you said! Too happy to care! lol!
Isn't Riley (Jason's daughter)ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!??!?! Jason took her up on stage and had her on his lap when he was sitting at the drums for a few minutes... lol that's so cute that she was chewing on the mic!!
Oh my gosh! I know exactly what you mean! Mike could SO be a pastor... everything he said was totally relevant to stuff that me and my friends were facing... it was just crazy. *sigh* It's just so awesome to talk to someone who felt like the exact same way! lol!
Haha! Propitiation. He talked about that word too at the concert here. He said something like, "it's when you're about to get spanked, but Jesus put his butt in the way." Well, it was a very clear illustration.
Yeah, something about strong enough to save you was in one of them.. I LOVED that one. I was so annoyed that I couldn't remember how it went later (I'm still going nuts from it) because it gets sort of half-way stuck in my head, and then I can't sing it or anything! Ah well.. I will be patient Oh yeah, and that other one was like you are more than the choices that you make/the sum of your past mistakes. It was really good too.
Oh that is SUCH a great idea to get them to sign your Bible.. I wish I had thought of that...! Dude! Was SCOTT there? I meant to ask you. I'm wondering if he's still sick, or if he even was sick, or what the reason was for him not being at the concert I went to. Did they have a sub-bassist?
Yeah! They wrote those verses on my poster too! I love Psalm 16. I know exactly what you mean! I was so excited and kind of nervous that I was like kind of shaky. WOW! You guys talked with them until like 11 PM? What time did the concert start? The band manager was kinda strict as to what time they had to stop signing and leave and even though it was past the time Mike wanted me to get a picture with them.. so he told the band manager "just wait a minute" lol.
Can't wait to see your pics/videos later! I'll be looking on FB! Oh YEAH!!! The batman impression! He did that here too. It was freakishly accurate! I cracked up!
That's awesome that your brother and dad are fans now! One of my friend's moms, who doesn't like CCM at all, her daughter (my friend) went to their concert, and so her mom listened to their CD and she is totally for them.. she loves their lyrics. It was amazing!
Ahhh! I'm just so happy for you! I love how we can relate to everything!
Don't worry... my post was a little bit lengthy too xD
Okay, I really should go now.
Guys, remember the victims of 9/11!! God bless!!!

Not if I can help it. Have you started school yet?
And I promise this post won't be neeeaaarly as long as my last. That was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, let me tell you.
Aww, I enjoy those massive posts!
N², we only have an old, small TV that mainly gets used for DVD watching, although my hubby watches the news quite often. Favourite old shows? I Love Lucy, Gilligan's Island, Get Smart, Green Acres, The Beverly Hillbillies ...
We only had a small 13-inch TV until recently when we got a (slightly) bigger flatscreen TV. We used to have rabbit ear antennas (which would pick up about 3 or 4 stations) and we'd only use it for political debates/elections and baseball/football games. Now that they've switched over to digital, I don't think our antennas will pick up anything.
Ah yes, those are all great! We don't have any of those ('sides Get Smart), but I've seen episodes from all of them. We have stuff like Andy Griffith, Gomer Pyle: U.S.M.C., F Troop, Lost in Space, Hogan's Heroes, etc.
Thanks for the update on your braces! So, are you getting both a permanent and a temporary retainer after? Our kids all have the permanent (behind their teeth) and another one they put it every night while they're sleeping.
No problem! No, I'm not getting a permanent retainer. At least, I don't think so. Earlier, I said something like, "When I get my braces off I'll have a temporary retainer and then a regular one." I suppose this could have been confusing, but when I said "temporary retainer" the first time, I was referring to the plastic one that's molded to your teeth that you wear for a few weeks before they get the regular one made. But the confusing thing is that the regular retainer is temporary too.
I see. Well, I may watch them sometime.
You're welcome!

I have songs from all over including medieval, action/adventure, soundtrack action, and soundtrack comedy. I haven't come across any piano solos.

you can say mortrever which has "mor" for morning, "eve" for evening, and I guess, the "t" and "re" must have something to do with afternoon.
It's actually spelled "mortereve", so the "ter" in the middle is for afternoon.

My first day of work went very well yesterday! I enjoyed it for the most part, and look forward to my next day (Monday). I only worked half a day, and I'm exhausted, though!
It's so good to see some of you who don't (or haven't in a while) frequent the square much! I hope you stay.
*finally starts the long put-off catchup* The first part, I wrote more than a week ago, and then decided not to post until after the forum change. But then I waited too long.
Aiden, I'm not sure I'd say I speak Spanish "well." Two semesters isn't really enough to do that. But I can speak it a "little." I can read it better than I can speak it, just like most people.
Fanny, no, you're right. Sophomore is the term for second year students. My brother is going into his second year at college, but already took classes before his first year, which is why he's a Junior.
I know, it is funny about me and Frank. Don't you just love it when you find out something like that?
A happy September to you all!! The year seems to be going by very quickly... A lot has changed so far (all has been for the good, even in difficult circumstances!), and there's still much more to come!
Anyway, I hope that you are all having weather as delightful as mine!
Oh, that sounds so nice! Like I told you last night in chat (more than a week ago, now ), the forecast for the rest of this week is sunny and 75-perfectly wonderful! But I liked more than the weather in your paragraph. The whole attitude is good.
I'm glad that it's going really well for them! None of my siblings are going/went to college, so I'm not sure what that's like. Yes, we can talk about it sometime!
Ah, that's understandable. Alright, lets then!
Oh, good. Grinning is good.
Oh dear, I don't want to be called Dennis. I'm afraid I don't like that name very much.
Yes, gazer, the Wisconsin State Fair was in Milwaukee. Apparently I was wrong about the dates though, and it already happened! Hmm, I was so sure someone mentioned it on the radio yesterday . . . humph.
(Maybe I should take up the hobby of visiting the Fairs of nearby states?)
Hmm, that sounds rather fun!
Dark chocolate is just... nasty.
Huh?!!
I've gotten to the point where I can't really teach myself anymore than I know...but then again, I'm not sure. Over the past month I've surprised myself. You know I think my voice is changing! It sounds and feels really weird now and I'm hitting notes I didn't think I could...
I know completely what you mean. But I've surprised myself too-I've been thinking for several years that it would be impossible for me to get better without taking more lessons-but I have improved, and greatly, since then! And that's really cool about your voice changing. Are you hitting higher, or lower notes?
We have a really, really good Christian radio station here and they play a lot of Switchfoot. I've always thought of them as a Christian band, but I guess you're right. They're not officially.
That's interesting. Glad you have such a good station! Ours tends to play the same songs over and over. And the only thing they play by Switchfoot is This is Home.
What is your signature of?!! I love it. And it's so sad and mysterious.
What she said: They take this big, clunky thing and pull your mouth apart as far as it can go. Then, they laser your teeth with something that makes your teeth feel like it's melting. Then they push the cement stuff on so hard, and then force the wire into your teeth. Leave extra long wire at the back, and then it's poking you a whole ton. Then they tighten it which hurts. Then you can't eat for 4 days.... (Okay, that was abit disorganized because I only remember a few things she said, but it sounded very painful. Confused)
Wowsers! Wanna hear my, much calmer, much more comfortable version?
@ my good friend who lives in the cheese state, Destined. Really? Yay! Another fan! I've seen and really liked Batman Begins (still need to get the DVD...) and watched some of TDK, but could not sit through the whole thing. Too dark and disturbing for my tastes, though a great film non-the-less. I did watch the first hour or so of The Dark Knight and then skipped around to other scenes that I wanted to see.
That's understandable. It is rather disturbing. Very deep, and good, too, however.
"Rain comes over the gray hills, and on the air a soft goodbye. Hear the song that I sing to you, when the time has come to fly..." (Soft Goodbye)
That's lovely!
We've had a lot of fun in this old Square.... *sigh* I remember when I first brought you here Vern..
*Yes, I was actually a small dragon back then!*
*Laughs*
Aww, I like that!
Oh, goodness. You all are almost making me cry again!
Starts catchup on New forum.
Lissa? LISSA?!!!!! It's marvelous to see you again!
So, Flambeau, so glad you liked Gods and Generals! Djaq told me you finished it, and watched the movie the other night. The order of the posting.php?mode=reply&f=13&t=135#CW series is, Gods and Generals, The Killer Angels, and The Last Full Measure.
O.K, my first catch-up post on the new forum! *cheers, a few jeers but the jeerers are quickly escorted off the premises.*
You're funny.
The past 2 days or so my best friend has been over... Haven't had her over for a LONG time... But now I did. And it was awesome. Friendship is such a gift...
That sounds WONDERFUL!
Ah, gardening after dark...I did enjoy myself, though, and got to dance on the lawn in the dark with only the moonlight (well, that and our neighbor's glaring Klieg light) watching.
Aww!
(Unfortunately, it seems that Persuasion is her least favourite Austen novel so far. )
Oh DEAR.
Huge congratulations on your sister's pregnancy, Djaq!!
And hooray!!! I'm sooo excited too! Maybe not as much as you are... but I've been looking forward to you being the MotW, and.. pretty soon you will be! 😀
Yup, I am now! So much fun!
I'm enjoying this catchup.
WOWSERS! Kat, it sounds like you had the awesomest time in the world (at the TAN concert)!! That's so wonderful.
lysander, I'm very glad to hear you're doing "delightfully well" (at least back on the 7th!), and it's very good to see you in the square again.
1. Go to bed ... I'm tired
2. Do homework ... that would be responsible
3. Read
4. Write
5. Probably not watch a movie, as I've done that already today
6. Waste my time on the Internet while trying to decide what to do, which is probably what will happen
I assume you did the latter?
That's great that you got a job, Dennie!! (Is that what you were going to tell me last night?) I hope it goes well!
Thanks, Djaq! Yes indeed, it was what I was going to tell you the other night (but I already told you that, too ).
Thanks, Fanny. It really did go pretty well. Running the cash register was fun (for the most part), and I restocked tons and tons of cards, which I enjoyed greatly.
*returns Aiden's wave!*
Edmund P, cool to hear that you're getting braces!
Thanks, but, eh, you must know some pretty immature 16/17 year olds. (I don't mean to insult said 16/17 year olds or anything!)
*whistles*
I've found that generally when I think I'm getting freedom, all I end up with are more responsibilities ... and, in all likelihood, more personal drama resulting from said responsibilities.
I'd agree with that. Personally, it's a little scary thinking that this is my last year of high school. I need to work really hard, and make some pretty major decisions in a couple months.
Great news, DTR! Finding a job is so hard these days. Praise God that you were able to!
Thank you very much. And I certainly do praise God for it. He arranged all the circumstances so perfectly, that it amazes me over and over!
I hope your toe/toenail is better! That sounds like it would hurt terribly!
*waves at NG*!
If you don't know history, you're destined to repeat it.
Goodness. I am Destined, but not sure about the other part.
How wonderful you got a job, Dennie! A Hallmark store sounds like a really nice place to work. Perhaps when you read this it will be Thursday, so...how do you like your job so far?
You're lucky, it's Friday. It's kind of hard to tell exactly how much I like it so far, but I think I will end up liking it lots.
PrinceCor, you're planning to take off a year between high school and college?
Ah, I missed that-I think I might be doing the same. So, Cor, you and I will have to hang out a lot while we wait during that extra year.
So, DTR, when did you/will you start your new job? I hope it goes swell for you!!!
*looks forward to the catchup post, which is probably in some of the pages she hasn't gotten to yet.*
I started yesterday! And it did go pretty well, thankfully. Nope, the catchup was yet to come.
PP, I hope your "big week" goes well! I'll be praying for you.
If it is your little brother you are speaking of, he is supposed to be weird. I know this to be true in that I am one of those 'weird little brothers.' Nor does this change, at 44 years old, I am still the weird little brother.
Oh my! Ahaaha!
Ruby, it sounds like you had a wonderful blessed time at the concert too!
Wow, Mel!! That's great! Congratulations!
Alright! Catchup finished at last. Huge hugs to every one of my good friends here!
Aiden, I'm not sure I'd say I speak Spanish "well." Two semesters isn't really enough to do that. But I can speak it a "little." I can read it better than I can speak it, just like most people.
Ah, I see! 'Course, those were college-level courses, right? This is my second year taking Spanish, but only at a high school level.
*doesn't have much else to say* Hope you all have a great weekend, during which I'll likely not be around. See ya!

Hello all! *Waves*
It's actually spelled "mortereve", so the "ter" in the middle is for afternoon.
I knew that. I don't know why I said that! Ergh! *Gos and bangs her head against a tree* Now I feel really stupid!
Yeah, it's great. You're welcome! It's good to make back-ups of files, and I commend you for that. But, you don't have to worry about Firefox messing anything up.
It's not firefox I'm worried about. It's this ancient computer I have. It's not very reliable and doesn't like change.
I know, I'm being myself. again.
Awesome! I don't know what those people are.
It's ok. I do that all the time. I think I'm sorta getting a taste of my own medicine talking to you.
"Those" people are people who irritate people by being sarcastic, pointing out faults, and generally being rather caustic, but in a way that is humourous way.
Yahoo! Messenger. These are all Yahoo! smilies.
Right. *Bangs head on tree some more and promptly faints*
True, the new one looks mentally insane.
Is there any other kind? (Of insanity?)
😮 *whistles*
Eh?
See y'all!

*Cor and Vern enter the Square after partaking of a delicious meal of fried fish and spicy potato wedges*
Mortereve all! Well, it's time for me to make a catch-up post. I'll be responding to the last 3 pages.
*Cor and Vern take their usual seats at the fountain. Vern licking his claws clean....*
Vern! You said you would stop licking your claws!!
*But there is still some fish flavor left on them.*
Well, just don't make a mess....
*Have I ever?*
Anyway.... ketchup time!

@ Pogginfan. Fortunately, my subjects are pretty much split into half computer/half books. Math is still a textbook, which is nice. (never though I would say something good about math....) It's different, but I'm getting used to it.
*thinks his heart might have skipped a beat or two at Jo's exceptionally long post*
@ Jo, Queen of the long posts. Yeah, it's still strange thinking this is my last year of highschool..... I'm glad though. Hmm, that probably sounds kind of bad...
*thanks Jo for the drool bucket* Thankfully, I do not look like THAT. Hey! Hey! MY drool bucket!
Yes, that's the plan anyway. In that time I'm hoping to get a job and save up money for college.
*clears throat* The bunny, the bunny, ooh I love the bunny. The bunny, the bunny, ooh I love the bunny.
^Especially for you, Jo. *now needs to go listen to Alien or a Journey song.....*
*sends many happy and warm regards to Betsie* Glad you're back around!
*waves to Djaq and Wren*
@ LL. I'll be looking forward to your catch-up post later!
Woo-hoo! Congrats on post 1900! Before too long, you'll be going through historical dates: WWI, the depression, WWII, the British invasion ( ), ect.
@ Malkah. Hello and welcome to the Square, Malkah! I'm PrinceCor, though most everyone calls me Cor. Nice to meet you.
@ the most pleasant and friendly Destined. Yay! You finally made it by to make a catch-up post.
About the TDK and such: I put The Dark Knight in the same category as Saving Private Ryan or the Passion, great films but just one viewing is enough for me. Oh yes, it is indeed a powerful film, especially the music..... *melts* Though, I do have a bone to pick with whoever arranged the music in the film, "A Dark knight" (from the album) should have been the end credits music!! *sigh*
Oh, sorry for almost making you cry.... *hands Destined some tissues*
Hehe, thanks.
About taking a break from school for a year: Sounds good to me. And here I thought the taking a break thing was my own idea....
----------------------
O.K, I'm done. I'll see if Lady A can stop by here on my way home.... I'll be back around later!

*Lady Amalthea enters the square, looking around in wonder and amazement*
Wow! The new Town Square is so.... nice! It's so clean and fresh looking. Yet, it has retained it's familiarity. I must say that I approve of the move. I was a little concerned when I heard about the move, but it seems to have gone well. I'm afraid we lost Narnian~at~Heart, though. Maybe one of the fauns at the cafe will be kind enough to show her the way, should she stop by there for a smoothie. And maybe she will bring one for me, too!
PrinceCor (fine lad that he is) said that I should stop by and see the new place. I'm glad I finally had time to do so. Running the castle has kept me a little busy the past few weeks, so it's nice to get to take a break.
How has everyone been doing? I see that Miss Johobbit has a picture of her house as her avatar. I need a new avatar, methinks, but I'm not sure what it should be. I'll ask Vern! He always has such good suggestions - and he's so helpful, too. Tonight he suggested fish for dinner - and then went and caught them for us. Of course, he did bring 153 large fish (a special number), but then he consumed most of them himself. After being such a help, I really couldn't bring myself to say anything to him about licking his paws at the table. *sigh* It's a good thing we were eating outside. Oh well, dragons will be dragons!
I must get back to the castle now. I think the dragon and his prince plan to visit the Square a little later. Don't tell Vern I mentioned his paw-licking. He really is a dear, especially since he quit chewing KingLune's house slippers and setting the tapestries on fire when he sneezed. Oh, the things a young dragon will do!
*Lady Amalthea leaves the Square by way of the beloved chocolate tree. Looking around furtively, she pulls out an ever expanding small bag and deftly fills it while humming "The Bunny" song from Veggietales* Mortereve!
